Chapter 1

The Beginning of Toga's Life

It's evening in Japan it's not the Japan that you're use to. This Japan is littered with demons. In the western lands are two dog demons. Fujin is 6'3" has white hair and gold eyes. He is with his wife and mate. Who is eight months pregnant. Her name is Asami and she is 5'6" and has black hair, hazel eyes, and a jagged blue stripe on each cheek. Fujin and Asami are in their mortal forms. They are looking for a safe place to live. The two dog demons were forced to leave their old home. They were living in the eastern lands. But the volcano erupted so they left the eastern lands. They decided to head to the western lands. Now that they are in the western lands. They are looking for a safe place to live.

Fujin and Asami are expecting their third and final child. Unfortunately their first two children didn't make it past 100 years old. So they are determined to make sure that this baby makes it. Soon they found a cave. Fujin went inside first and looked around. Luckily there isn't anything inside. Asami joined her husband inside the cave. Fujin left the cave and went into the forest to get fire wood. Ten minutes later he came back and built a fire. Tired Fujin and Asami cuddled next to each other. The watched the fire until the feel asleep. In the morning Fujin woke first. He left the cave to go find food. Not long after he left. Asami woke up and she too went outside. She collected firewood then went back inside. The female dog demon built a fire.

Then she leaned back and relaxed and can feel hr baby moving inside of her. Asami sighed and said "Oh little one I hope that you're strong. And I hope that you make it to adult hood." Just then Asami felt her baby kick hard a couple of times. Not long after her baby kicked. Fujin came into the save carrying a deer. He dropped the deer on the floor. The male demon cut some meat off of deer. He squared the meat onto sticks and leaned the sticks over the fire. Fujin walked over and sat next to Asami.

"How are you doing my love?" asked Fujin

"I'm just fine my dearest. And so is our pup it's moving and kicking right now." replied Asami

Fujin placed his hand on his mate's round belly. He smiled when felt the pup inside move and kick. Soon the meat is done cooking and Asami and Fujin ate. After eating the two demons relaxed. One month has passed and Asami is nine months pregnant. She and Fujin are still living in the cave. In the western lands. Asami and Fujin are in their cave. They are inside because of the weather. It has been storming on and off all day. Asami is becoming more and more uncomfortable. She knows that she's in the beginning stages of labor.

"My dearest I'm in the beginning of labor." advised Asami

Fujin nodded and looked outside and saw that it's raining. He grabbed a bucket and stuck it outside. Once the bucket was full. Fujin grabbed the bucket and brought it inside. Six hours later and Asami is in full blown labor. Fujin is ready to help his mate if she needs it. Just then Asami took a deep breath and pushed. Asami kept pushing until the cave is filled with the cry of a new born. Fujin went over to his mate and cut the cord with his claws. He wrapped the infant in a blanket. The male gave the infant to Asami. He sat next to her, smiled, and said "It's a boy my love." They looked at the new born and saw that he has. White hair and a jagged blue marking on each cheek.

Asami and Fujin smiled and relaxed. Just then they heard thunder booming outside.

"How about we name him Toga?" asked Fujin

"I love it my love." replied Asami

Two days later Toga opened his eyes. The infant has gold eyes like his father. Both Asami and Fujin have high hopes for their infant son. What they don't know is that Toga. Will grow up to be a great demon.

1 year old

Toga is now one year old and he and his. Parents are still living in the cave in the western lands. Toga walking and talking now. Fujin and Asami take turns hunting and staying at the cave. To watch over Toga. Today it's a beautiful day and it's Asami's turn to watch over Toga at the cave. She has decided to let Toga explore outside. Asami got up walked just outside. She sat on a rock and called to Toga. "Come on out Toga it's ok." The little demon slowly and carefully walked out of the cave. Once out of the cave he stopped and looked around. Asami looked around and also smelled the air. Making sure that it was safe for Toga. A few hours later Fujin came back with fish.

10 years old

Toga is now 10 years and is out in the forest with Fujin and Asami. Today Fujin and Asami are teaching their son how to hunt. Right now the three demons are sneaking up on some deer. They are down wind and are being quite. Soon they are close and Fujin whispered "Toga stay here with your mother. And watch me ok." The young demon nodded and watched. As his father stayed down wind. Fujin snuck up on the deer until he was five feet away. Then he ran up to the deer and grabbed it by the neck. He dug his claws into it's neck. Using his strength he broke the deer's neck. Knowing that it was ok to come out Asami and Toga came put of hiding. Fujin grabbed the deer and together they returned home.

30 years old

Toga is now 30 years old and knows. How to fight, hunt, fish, and transform. Today he's following his mother and Father. The two demons want to show him something. Soon they are standing on a cliff. Toga looked down below and saw something below.

"What is that Father?" asked Toga

"That is what is known as a human village have been showing up for sometime now. They may look a bit like us but they aren't. Most demons kill and eat them." informed Fujin

"Should we do the same Father?" asked Toga

"No Toga I think as long as we leave them alone. They will leave us alone." replied Fujin

Toga nodded and took what his father said to heart.

60 years old

Toga is now 60 years old. Right now he and his parents. Are in their territory and they are transformed. In front of Toga, Fujin, and Asami is a panther demon. Fujin is growling and staring at the panther demon.

"Asami you and Toga run for it. I can handle this." ordered Fujin

"But Father Mother and I can help you fight." argued Toga

"Go now you and you Mother are more important." Fujin ordered again

This time Asami and Toga ran for it. Not long after they left. Fujin attacked the panther demon. With Asami the are running further into the western lands. Just then Asami heard a roar behind her. So she stopped and turned around. Toga also stopped and turned around. Soon Asami saw a large panther demon coming toward her. She growled and got ready to fight. Asami looked at Toga and said "Get out of here Toga run. Head for the eastern lands. Hopefully the volcano in those lands has calmed down."

"But Mother I want to help you fight." argued Toga

"Toga my beloved son you must live long. You are the only child that your father and I have left. Now go." begged Asami

Reluctantly Toga nodded and took off running toward the eastern lands. As he ran he could the roar of the panther demon. And heard his mother howl. Toga kept running until he could see a volcano. The white dog demon caught his breath. And decided to sit and wait for his parents. Toga sat and waited until it started getting dark. He sighed sadly and walked into the forest. He untransformed and stated looking for a place to live. The young demon found a cave next to a stream. He went in and made sure nothing was living in it. Toga sighed again laid down and tried to sleep. In the morning Toga left the cave. He transformed and went to see if there was any sign of his parents.

Soon he is at the boarder of the western lands. Toga hasn't seen any sign of his parents. He untransformed and snuck into the western lands. The young demon made his way to where he last saw his father. Soon he found the carcass of a white male dog demon. Toga quickly ran to where he last saw his mother. Again he found the corpse of a dog demon. Only this one is a black female. Saddened Toga ran back to the eastern lands. Toga looked back at the western lands.

"Once I'm older and stronger. I will return to the western lands. And will kill those damn panthers. And I will take over and rule over the western lands." growled Toga sadly

With that said Toga returned to the cave that he had slept in.
