Flashback, 13 years ago…

A young fair-skinned, short crimson-haired, silver-eyed little girl wearing a short sleeve velvet blue dress is quietly walking down the hallway toward the kitchen to get herself a glass of chocolate milk to drink when she heard the voices of her parents talking in the living room.

"I wonder what my parents are talking about right now? I think I'll eavesdrop on their conversation." thought the girl as she quietly approach and stand near the living room to listen in on her parents conversation.

"I'm here now so what is it you want to talk with me about?"

"It's about our daughter and about how you spend time working instead of spending more time with her…"

"Really, that's it? You know very well that I'm as busy with my work as you do with yours and yet you still dare to tell me to cut back on my working hours to spend more time with "it"?" Don't you forget that it's because you wanted a child so I granted your wish and gave birth to "it"."

"W-What? They're talking about me and…" thought the girl with confuse and sad looks on her face.

"Excuse me? Don't you call that child "it". Aren't you supposed to be her mother?"

"You're one to talk about being a parent to "it", aren't you her father too?"

The girl heard her parents talk some more about her before she heard enough of her parents conversation, step back and away from the living room, turned and make her way up the stairs toward and entered her room, completely forgetting about her drink before she decide to sneak out of her room via the windows to see her childhood friend for comfort and reassurance.

Present day…

The sound of the alarm clock and of birds chirping outside the room of a long crimson-haired 16 year old girl named Isamu Toudou woke the girl up from her slumber before she open her silver eyes, sat up from her futon just as the sliding door to her room open up to reveal a fair-skinned, shoulder-length brown-haired, red-eyed 16 year old handsome guy named Goro Akechi wearing a short sleeve white shirt with a dark blue and black stripe necktie tied around his neck, long dark blue pants and black socks on his feet before Goro stepped into Isamu's room, closed the door behind him before he approach and sat down on his knees near Isamu.

"Good morning, Isa." greeted Goro politely to Isamu.

"Good morning to you too and you're already wearing your uniform as usual, Goro." said Isamu teasingly to Goro after she greeted him back.

"While you woke up late and didn't get ready yet as usual, Isa…" Goro counter back to Isamu before he noticed the distant look on her face. "Is something the matter, Isa?" asked Goro concernly to Isamu.

"Huh? Oh, nothing. Just… had a dream about the past, my past that is." replied Isamu.

"I see…" said Goro as he slowly raised his hand with the intention to caress Isamu's cheek, stop and bring his hand back. "You best hurry up and get yourself ready if you don't want to be late for school and I'll wait for you outside the manor, Isa." added Goro firmly to Isamu before he stood up, turned and left her room.

"You heard him so get up and get yourself ready for school, devchonka." said a refined woman voice to Isamu from somewhere within her soul.

"Yeah, I know, no need for you to tell me to do it like he did earlier." said Isamu in slight annoyance back to the refined woman voice that talk to her before she get out of her futon, folded and put her futon and pillow aside, went into the bathroom to do her morning routine of bathing, brushing her teeth and changing her pajamas into her Kaibara school uniform (a short sleeve white shirt, knee-length blue skirt and long black socks on her feet), left the bathroom to grab her bag and phone and as she stepped out of her room and about to leave, she stop when she see a pale-skinned, short black-haired, dark grey-eyed androgynous and cold-looking guy named Akito Soma wearing a long sleeve simple white kimono with a red ribbon-like sash tied around his waist and a long sleeve black coat over it, a fair-skinned, short reddish brown-haired, reddish brown-eyed handsome man named Kureno Soma wearing a long sleeve button up grey shirt, long black pants with a brown belt tied around his waist and grey socks on his feet approaching and stopping a few feet in front of her.

"Good morning to you two, Akito-san and Kureno-san." greeted Isamu politely and formally to both Akito and Kureno as she bowed to them.

"Good morning, Isamu-san." greeted Kureno politely back to Isamu.

"Yes, good morning to you too, Isamu." greeted Akito as he suddenly open and wrap his arms around Isamu and hugged her closely. "Give my regards to the others if either you or Goro see them at school today and I'll see you two when you two came back later, Isamu." whisper Akito calmly and quite coldly to Isamu's ear.

"… Yeah, I know. I'll be going now and see you later, Aki-chan." whisper Isamu back to Akito (who smile and felt happy a little at Isamu's nickname for him) as she briefly hugged him back before they ceased hugging and pull away and Isamu walked past Akito and Kureno and left the manor to go to school with Goro while both Akito and Kureno watched Isamu left in silence.

Meanwhile…

"Here we are. Behave yourself around other kids your age, listen to the teachers and if other kids bully you or anything, tell them or tell me and your mother too, alright, Mitsuki?" said a fair-skinned, long purple-haired, red/blue-eyed 16 year old girl named Miyuki Arisato wearing the same school uniform as Isamu gently (and in a crouching position) to the fair-skinned, short purple-haired, red/blue eyed 5 year old little boy named Mitsuki Arisato wearing a short sleeve light blue shirt, dark blue shorts, white socks and shoes on his feet and holding a black school bag behind his back standing in front of her.

"Yeah, I know, onee-chan." said Mitsuki as he slowly nodded at Miyuki.

"Good boy and I'll come pick you up later in the evening after my school end so wait for me, Mitsuki." said Miyuki as she gave Mitsuki a short hug, pull away and watched as Mitsuki turned and went toward his school before she stood up from her crouching position, heard someone calling out to her and she saw that it's 2 of her classmates, Tohru Honda (a fair-skinned, long brown-haired, brown-eyed cute and cheerful-looking girl wearing the same uniform as her) and Yuki Soma (a fair-skinned, short dark grey-haired, dark grey-eyed handsome guy wearing the same uniform as Goro).

"Good morning, Miyuki-chan. You just sent Mitsuki-kun to school as usual, huh? What a nice older sister you are to Mitsuki-kun." said Tohru happily to Miyuki.

"Good morning to you and yeah, I just did and thanks for saying that to me, Honda-san." said Miyuki as she nodded and smiled at Tohru before she glance at Yuki. "Good morning to you too, Yuki-kun." added Miyuki politely to Yuki.

"Likewise, Arisato-san." said Yuki politely back to Miyuki.

"Come on or we'll be late for school, you two!" said Tohru as she suddenly grab hold of both Miyuki and Yuki's arms and bring them with her toward Kaibara high school.
