The following story is not intended for sexual gratification of any kinds. To an extent, this story is a homage to the strangeness during the silver age in comics given that Defenders of the Earth had two different comics series both in the 1980s and then later in 2012 to 2016. It would be slightly inspired by a similar situation that happened to one Jimmy Olsen in his spin off comic series Superman's Pal. Consider this a "one and done" type of story.
Note: This story is set two days after the Ronin Warriors and Lady Ronin Guardians meet the Defenders of the Earth and they make their new residence in Central City, California.

Weight and See
Chapter One
The Ronin Warriors and the Lady Ronin Guardians met at the living room of their home that they were living in at Central City. They were reflecting on recent events before getting ready to meet with James, Twyla and the Defenders to meet with them for the day.
It had been two days since they had first relocated to Central City. After Ming's Ice Robots tried to get them all captured back in Toyama, they met with James and Twyla at first San Francisco and then Central City, where they would take residence there. Ming's forces attacked them a second time, and they tried to capture both Mia and Twyla, but those plans were thwarted after the Defenders of the Earth came and helped them out. Now, by the order of the American government, the Ronin Warriors and the Lady Ronin Guardians had to stay with the Defenders of the Earth at all costs until they said otherwise. As they were annoyed by this order, Rekino didn't find this too bad as she had missed American television.
"What do you guys think?" Rowen asked.
"About living in Central City?" Hana asked in return. After the Strata armor bearer nodded, the Halo Guardian answered, "Well, it's not too bad. We've been here two days so far and Central City seems like an interesting place to live."
"It's ridiculous that the government is making us staying here for undetermined amount of time here!" Kento scoffed in annoyance.
"We did make a commitment to James and the Defenders of the Earth though." Mia pointed out, "We will have to stay with them to fight against a threat that we do not know about yet. I won't be able to for some time because I am still pregnant."
"We all got a strange vision about this threat that is coming." Ryo added, "So being here is far from a coincidence."
"Ryo is right you know." Cye nodded in agreement.
"And besides," Rekino quipped, "I have surely missed watching American television."
"Which isn't the point, Rekino." Amaya chastised her friend.
"I know."
"I think we are adjusting just fine so far." Hana commented.
"Point taken!" Kento exclaimed, admitting defeat.
"So what did Mandrake call you about, Mia?" Ryo asked.
"He said that they were going to meet with Professor Smythe." Mia answered, "Smythe happens to be an old mentor that had taught Mandrake in his past."
"So what are they visiting an old scientist for?" Kento asked.
"They said that Professor Smythe had come up with his most recent discovery." Mia answered, "He mentioned something about a vitamin."
"What kind of vitamin?" Rowen asked.
"He didn't say." Mia answered before she sighed, "He said the professor told us that we would have to wait and see to find out what this vitamin is."
"So who is all going?" Kento asked.
"I'd be interested to see what kind of discovery this professor came up with!" Rowen answered.
"I think I will go too." Sage added, "Not that I'd be interested."
"Well I'm going!" Rekino exclaimed.
"Me too!" Hana added.
"That makes four going as of now." Rowen stated, "Anyone else?"
"Why not all of us go?" Mia suggested, "I may be pregnant and unable to drive or fight at the moment, but that doesn't mean I can't attend this interesting event here."
"That sounds like a good idea, Mia." Ryo nodded, agreeing with his fiance, "We can explore more of Central City that way."
"I don't see why not." Amaya added.
"I'm all for it." said Cye.
"I guess so." Josephine nodded in agreement, "You know, since everyone else is all for it. What about you, Kento?"
"Alright fine," Kento groaned as he crossed his arms, "but I'm not happy about it."
"Well," Mia told the others, "we should head on out and meet with the others, we will meet with Professor Smythe in an hour."
The Ronins and the guardians left their house and made their way to meet with the others for this major event.
-Weight-and-See-
James and Twyla met up with the Defenders of the Earth at the living room.
"So are you guys ready to meet with Professor Smythe?" Mandrake asked the others.
"Oh yes." James answered, "It will be interesting to see what kind of discovery that he had made."
"It will also be great to see Mandrake's old friend and mentor again." Lothar stated as he reflected on the event, "It will be fascinating to see what kind of discovery he has made with this vitamin that he had made."
"Indeed it will be, my friend." Mandrake replied.
"Are you sure that you don't want to come with us, Kshin?" Rick asked.
"I'm sure." Kshin nodded, "I am not interested in that kind of stuff."
"I will watch him and we'll keep an eye on things in case Ming and his forces show up." Twyla announced.
"That sounds good, my dear." James replied before he gave his wife a kiss.
"The rest of us will take visit Professor Smythe with his interesting discovery." Rick stated.
"You seem to be excited about this." Jedda glanced over at her boyfriend.
"I am." Rick nodded, "The discovery about this formula is interesting."
"I wonder what this vitamin is going to be about." the Phantom stated with some hint of curiosity in his voice.
"I'm not sure, Phantom." Flash looked down as he placed fingers on his chin as he was curious about this discovery as well, "but we will be finding out really soon."
"Within the hour to be exact!" Mandrake added.
"We should be going now." James told the others, "We'll need to meet with the Ronin Warriors and Lady Ronin Guardians and then head over to the Professor Smythe's lab within the hour."
"That sounds like a great idea." LJ replied.
Author's Note: I apologize for posting this story before the start of the actual series. I was anxious to get this story started. I think now you have the idea of how this side story of the crossover series is going to go down from the notes and Tumblr posts.

I took an educated guess on how the government would handle the situations with the armors. In "Dynasties", I noted that the president would not allow the Defenders to go after Hadea in the beginning of the story, so I figured that the government might have a say in where the mystical armors were concerned.
