Charming ruin

The Grand Budapest Hotel was an enchanted and charming place to stay for a season. Hot towels were provided in the entrance hall by attendants dressed in purple. Luggage Carriers were full and the nineteen rooms too. The hotel is located in the Alps of Zubrowka and the perfect season of the year to stay there was during the rigorous winter.

The concierge of this enchanting giant hotel was Monsieur Gustave H. He was at the smoking area hosting some of the needy and blonde ladies. Some of his interests after literature and art. He was, as always, fragrant with the top notes of rosewood and cardamom of L'Air De Panache cologne. From kilometers, you could feel his remarkable aroma. This middle-aged man had blond and blue eyes, such as his lovers. The well-suited uniform was purple combined with yellow additions and the pin of The Society of Crossed Keys could not be missed. Adding to these external features, from Monsieur Gustave you could expect the most polite words. The dinner time of his employees were embellished by his long poems. Along with this sweet-smelling man there was Zero, the lobby responsibility was to anticipate the client's needs before the needs are needed. As Monsieur Gustave always said: "A lobby boy is above all, discreet to a fault." Zero Moustafa was an Indian young man and had no family and no formal education, his family was killed during the war. However, Agatha, the most lovely person in the world, was always with him. They had lots of good and bad moments together, once Agatha almost died of Spanish flu. In any case, from A to Z love has won the were an adorable couple, you could notice that they were soulmates.

Dispatch

As part of one of his activities, Zero used to go downtown every day. He usually was going downtown in the morning to get the newspapers. And, although that day downtown seemed calm there was an extremely tense atmosphere in the city. He could understand why when he saw the headline of the newspaper: " ZZ movements provoke another war". At that moment, the breeze turned into a storm and the snow was announcing another worse thing to happen. He ran towards the grey funicular train to get to the hotel as soon as he could. When he arrived, he ran as fast as words could fly to show Monsieur Gustave the bad news and then, they stared at each other for a little while. Once a war was coming they knew that the hotel would be passing through hard times. Also, Zero would need to live into illegality again since war started and he as an immigrant was not safe anymore.

Why fear

Once, when the first war was occurring a few years ago, Zero and Monsieur Gustave had big trouble with the militaries from ZZ. The whole region of the Republic of Zubrowka was in turmoil. And, it was on a train trip that the militaries encountered the two men for the first time. Besides, the ZZ army did not recognize Indians as people so the ones that crossed their path was a dead Indian person. All conflict generated from hate and violence was expected. The obvious was the urgent need for ideas to contrast the context.

Brilliant idea

And then, out of nowhere, Monsieur Gustave, a very ingenious man, glimpsed from the hall to the door. In his imagination, it was the perfect time to try to find an honorable official to get the famous "LET IT BE KNOWN". And, from this point the adventure of Zero and Monsieur Gustave soon started. The important person they should find was the official Albert J. Henckels, he was a tall and robust man with big green eyes. When he loses tempers his big green eyes turned a mixture of green and amber, something quite unique such as his uniform. The official Albert studied sociology at college with studies focused on immigration and front barriers. In high school he commonly used to do his French homework with Monsieur Gustave on Saturday mornings at the hotel. Alone, by himself in his tiny dark room, he used to call to mind the sweet smell of the hot chocolate that was served during the coffee time.

Anyway. The brilliant idea involved a train trip in its plan and that is what they did, they had engaged into the same old train travel. It was more dangerous this time but It was needed to get that blue morning, the clock chimes by four and Zero had already had his milk and butter cookies. Gustave H. gently knocked on the door murmuring if it was all set to go and Zero abruptly opened the door. His purple hat was impeccable but his brown eyes were invariably condemned to sleep.

Inside the grey capsule

On the way to Bolodenka Street everything was apparently calm. The ladies wearing pompous pastel orange hats made Monsieur Gustave's body warm during some part of the long journey. After a long moment in the second waggon by explicit meanings someone appeared to conduct them to the cabin. One of the cordial attendants guided both men to their cabin number twenty-one of the third waggon. Getting there the two men were flabbergasted, that was such a luxurious cabin with scarlet upholstery and very detailed additions in gold. They had just accommodated their buttocks when the whole six waggons stopped by the demands of the ZZ barrier, Zero's physiognomy instantly petrified. Lots of men holding montruous weapons up to the sky and two armored battle tanks that were never seen before. The militaries of ZZ entered in the first waggon and Monsieur Gustave and Zero were already on the fourth. They had run to the sixtieth waggon and pretended they were part of the train staff, Pyotr advised the men to not get troubles with the did that but what had worked was the idea of hiding from them on the top of the train.

Reprieve

Nothing happened that time! All close friends on the train were shocked how easy it was to escape from that complex situation. After the barrier, the journey was quite relaxing because they kept hidden inside the hollow wall with the painting of the boy with the apple hanging.
