Intro

Cramped in her mother's jeep with her two younger brothers and Nanook, her baby brother's dog, Lilith sighed. Her brothers told their mother to change the radio station for like the tenth time in a row. "Just pick a station, boys." She said as she looked out the open window towards the ocean. "Ugh, what's that smell?" Your little brother Sam asks disgusted. Your mom takes in a deep breath. "Ah! That's the ocean air." She replies. "Smells like someone died." Sam shoots back. "Oh, honey–look guys I know the last year haven't been easy but I think you're really going to like living in Santa Carla." Mom says. Michael looks at the Santa Carla sign as you pass, graffiti on the back declaring it the 'Murder Capitol of the World.' He shoots you look to see if you saw that as well to which you nod your head.

Mom stopped for gas and Sammy ran Nanook while Lilith waited in the car flipping thru radio stations. Michael asked a guy about jobs as he moved to take his Honda bike from the trailer. Having his question answered, he tapped on the jeep's roof and asked Lilith a question about if she wanted her bike out. "No, thanks right now. My helmet and jacket are packed up." She said before he nodded and climbed onto his bike to follow mom to Grandpa's house. He had wanted his sister to ride with him but the sun was to strong right now for her to ride without a helmet and jacket.

Ten minutes later saw them up in the back hills of Santa Carla arriving at their Grandpa's house. Stepping from the car, Lilith opened a sun protective parasol over her head as she walked towards the door with her family. Instantly they noticed feet lying on the porch which could only mean in Lilith's mind that Grandpa was up to his old pranks again. Her beloved Grandpa was always down for a good prank and she knew it would fun living with him. Sam's comment about if he was dead can they go back made her smack him in the back of the head. Grandpa finally quit playing possum and welcomed them inside the house.

Hugging her Grandpa, Lilith enjoyed his scent before she heard him say he had a room picked out for his only granddaughter. Chuckling softly, Lilith followed him upstairs and towards the right side of the house. Opening the door to a pale green room, Lilith looked around in wonder as she took in her new bedroom. Her room had two glass doors that lead to a small balcony overlooking the horse pasture which made her squeal in joy. Being high above always made Lilith happy because she could look out over the world. Hurrying to grandpa, she hugged him tightly while thanking him many times for the room. It was perfect for her just waiting for her to add her stuff into it. Smiling in pure joy, Lilith headed downstairs to get her few boxes after she stashes her bike in the barn beside Michael's red Honda XL 250 S. Her bike was a Honda XL 250 S as well but a dark green color with a black bat painted on the right side.
