The Team of Failures
Chapter 1: The forming of team 10
It was an exciting day for a young blonde Uzumaki Naruto. Last night, he barely made it past the Genin exams. Truth be told, that morning he failed them, because he couldn't do the simple clone jutsu, buy by learning the shadow clone jutsu, which is a rather way stronger jutsu, he beat the man that he called his sensei,Mizuki, which he used Naruto to get a sacred scroll, the scroll of sealing. He couldn't wait to become a ninja. So much, that he barely got any sleep. Today it was time for all the fresh out of the academy Genins to get into a 4 man team, consisting of 3 Genins and 1 Jonin. "I can't wait to see to what team I'm on! I hope I'm gonna be in the same team as Sakura" Naruto thought, while he was getting in the academy.
As he was walking in his class, he sat next to a boy that he would consider his rival. He shot a death glare to him, but the boy didn't even flinch."Tsk that Sasuke, always thinks he's better than everyone. A pineapple haired boy stopped him. "What are you doing here Naruto? You do know that people become a ninja only if you graduate" He said in a bored tone. " Oh yeah do you see this, do you see this? Open your eyes Shikamaru it's a regulation headband" Said Naruto while pointing at his forehead protector."Whatever" said the kid now known as Shikamaru, as he sighed and went to grab his seat.
A little behind the two, an indigo haired, pale eyed girl observed them "So, Naruto passed? Thank goodness." Thought the girl with a sigh of relief.
Sasuke turned to Naruto "The only reason I can, at the very least, stand you, is because you act as a repellent to all of my fangirls. But those two…. I don''t even want to think about them" Sasuke said as a shiver down his spine "Hey don't insult Sakura like tha-" Naruto tried to say, but then he was cut off once two girls barged into the room
"Haha Ino-pig, I got here first!" Said a pink haired girl."No way, I got here first, Billboard Brow!" Shouted an angry blonde haired girl "Now where is he…..Sasukeeee!" Shouted the pink haired girl as she ran overto his desk. Naruto, thinking that she was going for him and tried to start talking to her, when "Out of the way dobe!" screamed the girl. "Sakura that hurt…" Said naruto while he was rubbing the back of his head he tried to go back to his seat, but sadly someone else had taken it. "Oh well, guess I'll have to sit elsewhere" Thought Naruto. Thankfully, There was an empty seat near the indigo haired girl. " Only one seat huh? And it's right beside that weird girl. Oh well, guess I have to sit there" He thought.
"Oh no! Naruto is heading over here! What should I do? Ok don't panic, you got this just start a normal conversation with hi-" She thought but couldn't finish thinking about it when Naruto sat next to her. She blushed. A very bright blush that went unnoticed by Naruto, thankfully. "Hey, err, Hinata wasn't it?" asked naruto in a friendly tone. "Y-Yeah, t-that's my n-name." she said trying not to faint "She is weird" Thought naruto, oblivious to what was actually going on
At that moment the teacher walked in the classroom. "Good morning class. I'm sure you all know why you're here, firstly I'd like to congratulate everyone that passed. And I want all of you to know…." Naruto dozed off "Man I can't escape Iruka-sensei's lectures even on my graduation day. Well I'm just gonna wait till my name, or a name that I know comes up" He thought. Iruka started to list off names and teams until he came to team 7. "Team 7 will consist of Haruno Sakura" Naruto perked up at this "Please let my name be in team 7" he thought "Akimichi Choji" Naruto was desperate." Please, let me be the last one" he thought "And Inuzuka Kiba". Both Naruto and Sakura where bummed out, but for two different reasons. "Awww maan I won't be with Sasuke!" Sakura thought sadly. "Aww maaan, I wont be with Sakura" Thought Naruto, also sadly.
"Team 8 will consist of Yamanaka Ino" Ino perked up"Oooooohhhhh If I'm in a team with Sasuke I can rub it in the forehead's face!" She thought in excitement "Aburame Shino" Ino was losing her hopes "One spot left" she thought. "And Uchiha Sasuke" Ino exploaded in excitement "Yes! Yes! True Love conquers all!" She shouted, while not paying attention to all the death glares by Sasuke's fangirls. Sakura's world shattered "Why does the pig get to be in the same team as Sasuke? Man I'm unlucky. And I got the fatass and the mutt in my team. I'm so unlucky." She thought, now even more depressed.
"Team 9 is still active, so we can skip to Team 10
Which will consist of Uzumaki Naruto" Naruto sighed in annoyance "Finally my name is called" He said annoyed.
"Hyuuga Hinata" Naruto and Hinata looked at eachother. If hinata was pink before now she was glowing red. "She seems nice, although she looks kinda sick" He thought "I-I'm o-on a-a t-team w-with Naruto?" Hinata almost fainted but got snapped out of it when Iruka announced the final member of their team "And Nara Shikamaru" Every girl in the class was thinkning tha same thing "Poor Hinata, she's teamed up with the dobe and the lazy ass" Though they were all wrong to what she was thinking. She was actually very happy with her team. "I'm teamed up with the lazy ass? Well, at least it could've been worse. I'd prefer him a thousand times more than that idiot Sasuke" Thought Naruto. "I guess its not that bad, although Naruto is way to troublesome" thought Shikamaru with a sigh. "I-I'm rather h-happy with my t-team. I wanted to be with N-Naruto and I got t-that. A-And Shikamaru is r-really smart, so I t-think it's going to h-help us as a t-team" Thought Hinata, still blushing intensely after all of the girl's attention was drawn to her
"Alright class, that's it, your Jonin sensei will come to pick you up after your lunch break. Good luck on your Ninja careers everyone, and I'm really proud of you" Iruka announced happily "Especially you, Naruto" He thought.
A/N That's my First chapter, and this is what I have in mind. I have planned some chapters in, But this wont have a regular schedule till I feel like making one. So yeah thats pretty much It and hope you like it. Reviews also make me very happy
