After managing to elude capture by Umbrella for 11 months, Claire, Rebecca, Chris and Jill decide to split up, making it more difficult for Umbrella to find them while targeting various umbrella facilities. Claire and Rebecca go to one facility in Yarmerth, Ohio where Albert Wesker was spotted while Chris and Jill go to another one where one of his associates, Ada Wong was sighted. Claire told Rebecca about her plan to lure Wesker using herself as bait, then pointed at a building adjacent to the loading docks with the sniper rifle she has.

"Wait up there. Hopefully Wesker will eventually show up at the loading dock, either to transport me as a prisoner to another facility, to oversee a prisoner transfer to this facility or for something as ordinary as signing for a delivery. That will be your chance to shoot him. If I or Wesker don't show up at the loading dock within three hours I want you to go and tell Chris and Jill that I am either dead or captured."

Claire snuck into the facility to search for Steve and Sherry as well as getting Wesker's attention. She entered a room where Umbrella kept their test subjects and examined the three bodies on gurneys to make sure none of them were people she knew. She quickly looked in the cells, but they were all empty. Just as she was about to leave, Wesker entered the room, smiling at her as he blocked her escape. A brief fight ensued in which Wesker quickly disarmed her. He grabbed Claire by the neck and shoved her against the wall, demanding to know where his daughter is.

"I'm not telling you where MY daughter is and there is little more you can do to me that you haven't already done." Claire says defiantly, glaring at Wesker.

Wesker dragged the angry woman to another room inside the facility and forced her into a wheelchair, fastening her arms and legs with restraints. After he made sure the restraints were secure he got a digital camera and took a picture of her to use as bait for the former STARS members. Claire became hopeful that her plan would work when Wesker wheeled her over toward the loading dock.

"I have a feeling torturing someone as strong willed as you for information won't get me anywhere. However there's always sodium pentothal. I just need to transport you to a far better equipped facility."

"Rebecca shoot him already!"

Wesker leaned forward when he noticed his prisoner becoming more and more angry and started pinching her cheek.

"Did you know you're cute when you're angry Ms. Redfield!"

Claire immediately lunged forward, biting Wesker's nose and clamping her teeth down tightly. Wesker pushed his fingers into each side of Claire's mouth, forcing her jaw open. He then moved back, briefly holding his nose as Claire spat blood onto the floor. Wesker casually walked away into another room as Claire screamed various profanities that would make a construction worker blush. He came back with a ball gag and shoved it into her mouth.

"Such language! It's so unladylike."

Claire started thrashing in the wheelchair, her screaming and swearing muffled by the gag, only to stop a few minutes later, her eyes widening. She quickly turned in the direction of the gunshot and saw Wesker lying on the floor, blood pooling from his head. Rebecca Chambers slung the sniper rifle over her shoulder and ran down the building's four flights of stairs to help her friend. As soon as she got to the ground floor, she pulled a beretta from her holster, quickly and carefully moving toward the loading area. Rebecca fired half a clip into Wesker to make sure he was dead, then unfastened the wheelchair restraints, setting Claire free. She stood up, thanking Rebecca as she rubbed her sore wrists. Claire looked at Wesker's body then back toward Rebecca.

"Please keep an eye on him, I need to get something wrong the examination room."

Claire ran off and after a couple of minutes returned with a bone saw and a enthusiastic grin.

Epilogue:

A few hours later Jack Krauser and Ada Wong walked into the loading dock and saw Wesker's partially burned and mutilated body.

"Now that he's dead, what are we supposed to do?"

Ada turned toward Jack and shrugged.

"I hear Excella Gionne is hiring at Tricell."
