Prologue
A young man was dressed in a black tunic with trousers of the same colour with a pair of shoes. The man stood alone in front of the entrance of a huge and impressive glacier. He had a serious expression on his face before tightening his sword on his belt.
He entered inside looking the long corridor of ice in front of him. He touched the ice walls, feeling the cold on his hand, before moving forward, determined to go to the deepest level of the glacier.
?: Let's go... He said to himself.
As he continued his way, he stopped when he heard a voice speaking to him. A bead of sweat formed from his forehead and dripped from his face before escaping by the chin and infiltrating the frozen ground.
?: Who is it? He cried out with agitation, trying to understand the origin of the mysterious voice.
?: Continue... Your Way...
?: I don't need your advice, I will continue my journey!
?: Careful... If you sink too deeply... You will be swallowed up...
?: So what? That's supposed to stop me? I am aware of your dangers, but I will not give up, and I will go further than anyone! He continued to walk until he came to a slippery slope. He shrugged his shoulders before running and slipping along the slope.
At the end of the slope was an endless chasm. Unconsciously, he jumped from the slope to avoid falling in the dark depths, and he narrowly fell on a pillar of ice, saving his life at the very last moment. He regained his breath before seeing many ice pillars forming a path to a another platform.
?: Those ice pillars... She created them during her previous visit. He said before jumping onto each of the ice pillars with elegance before reaching his destination in safe and sound.
He ran before arriving at a large hall made from ice with a glowing floor. Pillars of ice were lined up on the sides as he watched with amazement. He turned his attention to a triangle entrance that called him to come to it. He took a step before noticing something formed in front of him that became more and more bigger, a mighty roar resounded as a terrible dragon appeared in front of him.
?: Where does it come from? He asked to himself with surprise before leaping to avoid the frosted breath that the creature spat out.
The man narrowly dodged the creature's drew his blade before leaping towards the dragon's legs to cut them off before being struck by the tail of the ice dragon. He flew straight on to one of the ice pillars and fell to the ground spitting out blood.
?: Tss... He is strong... I have no choice... He muttered, frowning as he wiped the blood from his mouth.
The dragon let out a roar before spitting ice. The man remained in place before raising his sword above his head waiting for the creature's attack. His hair blew in the wind before sparks charged around the blade, that he swung with a sharp blow. A powerful wave of lightning emerged from the blade and cut the ice breath in two, causing a smoke screen that blinded the winged creature.
He struck the ground with his foot before disappearing, at the speed of lightning, towards the creature who did not see him coming. He suddenly arrived in front of the face of the creature, which watched with its crystal eyes; the young man cut its eyes out with a sharp attack charged with lightning.
Blinded, the beast struggled in all directions while he had jumped in the air charging more lightning in his blade, covering it totally and making it grow in size before falling again towards the creature. His lightning blade struck the ice skull of the dragon, sparks began to appear, and he used all his strength to win this fight.
?: AAAHHH! He screamed.
Cracks began to appear on the skull of the creature as it roared before being violently cut in two by the boy's attack, which caused a large crack in the ground. He fell to the ground, regaining his breath as he watched the dragon disappear.
?: That was one of your trials that you reserved for me... Show me the rest! Ahtohallan!
?: Continue... Zephyr...
The man called Zephyr, put a foot inside the entrance and a sudden mixing of colours struck him before covering the horizon. The colours began to disappear, revealing a white space. Magical winds flew in front of him, surprising him. He stopped at the sight of a torrent of purple flames beside a small tornado. Some stones gravitated alongside with water that floated in the air. The representations of the four elements of nature stood in front of him, side by side.
Zephyr: The fire... The wind... The earth... The water and...
He felt a cold wind blow across him as a beautiful snowflake appeared at the centre of the elemental spirits. At its sight, Zephyr could not resist to smile.
Zephyr: And the ice... Suddenly they took distinct shapes. The fire took the shape of a small lizard, the wind did not change shape unlike the earth which became a giant of several meters high. Water took the shape of a splendid horse while the ice had the shape of a beautiful woman with long hair. It was just an empty shell, a copy made from ice that represented the original perfectly like the others.
He closed his eyes before continuing his walk, he passed between the avatars of nature with a noble walk. He stopped before snapping his fingers, and they disappeared in a freezing magical wind that flew all around him, making his clothes and hair vibrate. The wind shone with a blinding light before bursting and covering the whole space which changed shade, a blue painted the whole space which widened with a light mist that covered it.
Zephyr looked all around him, observing the various ice statues that formed and came alive. They were supposed to be the representation of various memories of different people. He walked between the ice statues that moved and spoke, repeating moments from the past. He stopped in front of a statue of a little boy who played with a younger girl.
Girl: Big brother, can we build a snowman? Why not a princess? She offered the boy, who stood up before raising his arm in the air.
Boy: The princesses are ridiculous! We should build a dragon! A snow dragon, that's cool!
Zephyr sniggered before letting a nostalgic smile on his face before moving on. He saw a memory of his own life where he held a sword in front of a terrified woman. She cast a magic beam at him, which he dodged jumping on the side. He quickly ran towards her, raising his sword to give her a fatal blow. Zephyr lowered his eyes, ashamed of this memory which he regretted before leaving, and he saw himself chasing a woman of his age.
Zephyr: Those are my chocolates, give them back Anna!
He smiled before being surprised by a sled that quickly passed with a child and a man, both happy.
Zephyr: ...
He weaved in and out of through the statues that recounted moments of his own life or those who had met him in the past, friends or enemies.
?: Don't forget... If you continue further... You will be lost forever...
Zephyr: I already told you I wasn't afraid, so open the way!
A pathway appeared in front of him, he went down the stairs with determination before feeling that he slowed down. He felt a cold shiver, and he gave off steam from his mouth, however he continued to move forward until he arrived at the end of a chasm. He stopped suddenly, observing the void.
Zephyr: I think I must jump... He said before taking distance, and he started to run before jumping into the void, and he finally landed on a frozen surface.
The atmosphere was cold and terrifying with a deathly silence. The eyes of Zephyr widened at the sight of many frozen statues of people that stood in front of began to panic as hearing the voices of torments before shivering with his teeth that chattered. He tried to walk some steps, but he stopped dead. His legs began to freeze as well as the rest of his body.
Zephyr: No... I can't fail, I can't stop here... Move!
The rest of his body was under the ice as he tried to struggle the best he could, but in vain.
Zephyr: No... No... Shit... Everybody... Elsa...I'm sorry... He mumbled, shedding a few tears. He was frozen with an expression of sadness and regret on his face. Now, he was frozen in the ice for eternity...
