PROLOGUE

To rule the world from above

a child was born without the disease called love.

But with two powers so different yet the same

This body was not hers to claim.

When the flowers bloom, their leaves would have fallen.

When their leaves grow, the flowers would have wilted.

And so, she fell into the Abyss

Where nothing seemed to be amiss.

Though with no power to call her own

the spider would never leave her alone

Until she sat on her rightful throne.

When the two towers rise, she shall fall,

With the crimson moon standing tall,

to find the way to end it all.

That is the role of the red spider lily.

Warning: Long author's note ahead! You can skip it and proceed with the first chapter. (the note doesn't contribute anything to the story - just want to express my thoughts)

Hello everybody!

It's been a while since my last fanfiction (that I still haven't completed by the way - but I needed a break from writing myself into dead-end every single time).

This fic is inspired by another (not so serious) fic by LadyNyxRavus called "Black Hole Heart" ( /works/16267331/) - I really recommend it. When I read it and spent a whole day on the Naruto Reddit afterwards this idea wouldn't leave my head and et voilá - this story was born.

It always kinda bothered me that there were so many SI/OC Naruto stories (where the character is reborn into Naruto) but not many good actual OC stories (as in OCs who are born and raised in the Narutoverse, have no idea about the plot, etc.). So along with this new idea, I created an OC - and spend a day on the name :'D.

Her name is 偽空 虚実, pronounced Nisora Kyomi (last name, first name). I don't speak Japanese, so I don't know for sure whether this combination even works. I'm not going to reveal the meaning of her name tho - I want to find out whether you can reproduce what I had in thought. (You should look at each character individually.)

I'm honestly still kinda undecided on the plot. I watched Naruto during my childhood - started when I was around 5 - and I know the gist of everything, but my memory is really really blurry. I was planning on or rather I am currently rewatching the entire series. But there are a lot of episodes so it's going to take a while. Please forgive me for all the things that I get wrong. I'll correct them.

I'm open to any ideas you guys have - especially for the Shippuden part when the plot starts to diverge even more. The first part is mostly set in stone so far. But!

This story is based on a not so serious story - and I think my story is kind of a crackfic - so don't take everything too seriously. (Still don't know how the poem/ prophecy turned out to be so dramatic.) Updates are going to be quite irregular, too. This was a random idea and I'm really busy nowadays. I was thinking about writing a bit more before publishing this story but I want and need the feedback.

I'm posting this fanfiction simultaneously on Quotev, , AO3 and Wattpad. Quotev is where I started and I personally think its GUI is the most aesthetically pleasing but it's kinda hard to get feedback there depending on the readers.

From what I've seen Wattpad is the "chattiest" community because you can place comments everywhere while and AO3 have a larger community than Quotev.

With this story, I'm climbing out of my comfort zone. I usually write a lot of dialogue (which is not always good – I'm not writing a drama with stage directions after all). This time I'm trying to focus more on the description by adding more adjectives and metaphors.

Please feel free to leave comments/ reviews. I'm trying to improve my writing - but with no concrete criticism, it's quite hard.

If it wasn't obvious throughout this whole author's note: English is not my first language. The things I struggle the most with should be tenses and punctuation. Also, wordy sentences because we always had to write in a formal style in school (regardless of the language) - this style kinda stuck to me.

Maybe I'll accidentally use a mix of British and American English. We learnt both simultaneously at school so we could decide which one we prefer. I'm sticking to British English and my spelling software should correct all the American words I use.

Despite that, I hope there aren't too many errors. If there are I'll try to find an editor/ beta reader.

Puh, that should be everything I wanted to say. If I ever write another author's note it definitely won't be this long again.

I hope you enjoy this story!
