Chapter 1
"By the way, Zack." I look up at my friend\roommate Hunter from my game of Fate Go.
"Yea?"
"I'm thinking about getting a job at Family Dollar, they had a sign out there saying they're hiring so I thought why not?"
"Alright let me know how that will work out," I say, even though we both know that it won't work.
"You don't sound very enthusiastic?" Hunter asks me as he looks over at me.
"Why would I be excited about getting a job? I already have a job and I hate everything about it. "Speaking of which, I have to get ready for it" I comment as I get up and go into the bathroom, and throw on my work clothes. After a few minutes, I got into the car with my mom who also works at the same job and we drove off to work. Hopefully, nothing will happen today.
'I fucking jinxed myself' I think as we are stuck in traffic and I look at a truck barreling towards us at high speeds, I look around but I can't see any way for us to get out somehow. 'Dammit, this had to have happened on a Friday. This is bull-wait, was that a chicken that just flew out of the side of the truck? Wow even when I'm about to die Sanderson Farms still has to screw me over' I look over to mom before we are hit by the truck "Love you mom". I close my eyes to prepare but then I feel a weightless feeling before I find myself standing upright.
"...Wat?" I look around to see I am in a home, not my car then I notice my arm is raised at someone. AS I look down I see a little girl with purple hair and eyes, eyes that look dead to the world, very familiar eyes. I blink as I take it all in. Looking around again I look into the mirror and stare in shock and then that's when I start to panic "I...what….you…" In my panic, I did not notice the stairs behind me and as I start backing away I fall off of it tumbling down it then I smack my head on the floor, and I blackout.
