OPENING SEQUENCE:
W: The collision of worlds is a rather difficult situation.
B: But then there's a worst case scenario where the world's villains join together. Literally.
W: Dark Kahn, the fusion of Darkseid from DC Comics and Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat.
B: And Ultron Sigma, the fusion of Ultron from Marvel Comics and Sigma from Capcom's Mega Man X. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
W: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
FIGHTER 1: DARK KAHN:
(Main Theme - Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe)
W: In the aftermath of his failed invasion of Earthrealm, Outworld Emperor Shao Kahn was angered at this outcome, and confronted by the Thunder God and Protector of Earthrealm, Raiden.
B: Meanwhile, in another universe entirely, Superman and the Justice League had managed to save Metropolis from an invasion from Darkseid, who swore that he would return. When he tried to retreat via Boom Tube, Superman used his heat vision to stop the villain.
W: But at the same time, Shao Kahn attempted to do the same thing through a portal to Outworld, only for Raiden to stop him with his lightning.
Darkseid: Insolent fool! You are destabilizing the Boom Tube!
Shao Kahn: What have you DONE?!
W: And in a freak accident, both New God and Immortal were fused together to create an abomination. This...was Dark Kahn.
Dark Kahn roars.
(Throne Room - Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe)
B: Dark Kahn is a true beast of a fused menace, able to take on both the likes of the Mortal Kombat and DC heroes and villains. He rules in the merged Outworld and Apokolips, and is created from a malevolent energy called the Kombat Rage.
W: The Kombat Rage can infect anyone and make them hallucinate into seeing their worst enemy, prompting them to attack anyone they see. Their succumbing to the Rage can be indicated by their glowing eyes and deeper tone of voice. And Dark Kahn sought to use this to make the two universes fight each other, thus hastening the merging of the two worlds.
B: And this would eventually destroy both of them, and Dark Kahn would also do just that all because he was born.
W: Existing as an interdimensional anomaly, Dark Kahn's very existence threatened that of the two universes his halves came from. And he is already exceedingly powerful, since he was born from two of the most powerful beings in their universe.
B: He possesses Darkseid's Omega Force, as well as Shao Kahn's brute strength, sorcery, and even his classic Wrath Hammer. Dark Kahn also has a lot of powerful fighting skills, such as the Omega Knee, Omega Tremor, Explosive Blast, Emperor's Shield, and even imitates Johnny Cage with the Charging Spikes
W: However, Dark Kahn is not invincible. It took the combined might of both Raiden and Superman, who created Dark Kahn in the first place, to finally destroy him and separate the universes.
B: And he suffered greatly as one in the other's universe, their powers being rendered useless. Darkseid was left to suffer in the Netherrealm, and Shao Kahn was trapped in the Phantom Zone. And by taking into account the feats, powers, and abilities of Darkseid and Shao Kahn themselves, we don't have to tell you just how godlike Dark Kahn is. Although, I'm wondering something. If Darkseid is just an avatar of his true form, what happened to him when it merged with Shao Kahn?
W: It's possible that he BECAME part of the being his avatar was fused with. Regardless, Dark Kahn was and still remains as a true force to be reckoned with, as there is no limit to his Kombat Rage.
Dark Kahn: Face each other, or face me. It makes no difference! You! Will! FIGHT!
FIGHTER 2: ULTRON SIGMA:
(Main Menu - Marvel vs Capcom Infinite)
W: The mechanical mass murderer. The general of genocide. We've pitted them in a battle to the death before, and it's clear who won.
B: But what if we decided to make them join forces? Just how strong would they become?
W: When Jedah Dohma arrived in a foreign realm and spoke to the avatar of Death itself, he offered a union for their worlds, as heroes where he came from couldn't die.
B: So, the skeleton lady said that the Infinity Stones would be capable of such a feat, so she had Thanos, the Mad Titan, and Ultron, the Avengers' nemesis, track them down.
W: Thanos already had the Space Stone, but the Reality Stone was concealed within the Capcom Universe. And when Ultron attempted to breach it's dimensional barrier, he found someone...just. like. him.
B: His long lost twin brother! "Hey there, Siggy. Sorry I killed you last time. Can we work together to conquer our two worlds?"
W: Ultron and Sigma made a deal and began to plot behind the backs of Thanos, Death, and Jedah. So, when Ultron and Thanos arrived at Sigma's Lab within Abel City to retrieve the Reality Stone, Ultron sprung forward.
B: He killed Sigma AGAIN, took his robo-soul, and fused it with his own! Then, he kicked Thanos' ass, stole the Space Stone, and ascended to godhood.
Ultron Sigma: The souls of two universes shall be laid to rest in a single grave! (He transforms)
(Ultron Sigma Theme - Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite)
W: This...was Ultron Sigma. With the Reality and Space Stones, he caused a cosmic event known as the Convergence. The worlds of Marvel and Capcom became one.
B: 88 days later, the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Amingo, Deadpool, Mega Man, Ken, Felicia, and a bunch of other favorites didn't show up, so it was up to the Cinematic Universe heroes and even Mega Man X to save the day. But they learned that Ultron Sigma is FAR more stronger and badass. He kicked the asses of both worlds' heroes without even breaking the sweat. The purple lightsaber's cool, but why, God, WHY is Sigma's EYES this guy's NIPPLES?!
W: Ultron Sigma possessed incredible powers. He could fly, teleport, fire death rays, wield a beam saber, control reality and space itself, and even rip open a dimensional rift to rain down an energy meteor shower as part of his strongest Hyper Combo. With the Reality and Space Stones, he can create Infinity Surges and Storms. Reality Surge creates a homing projectile, Reality Storm bestows elemental powers in attacks, Space Surge pulls the enemy towards him, and Space Storm seals them in an energy box. But his most deadly weapon was an upgraded form of Sigma's Maverick Virus.
B: The Sigma Virus could roboticize any organic being, turning them into Ultron Sigma's slaves. Even the mighty thunder god Thor was infected by it, as well as this HUGE Dah'ren Moran!
W: Still, Ultron Sigma desired the other remaining four Infinity Stones: Time, Mind, Power, and Soul. With all six, he would control the merged universe.
B: He doesn't even need a gauntlet to wield them. Wait, where are they gonna go on his body? Will he still snap his fingers?
W: But despite his immense power, Ultron Sigma is STILL a machine. He is weak to immense overloaded electrical charges, and he nearly reverted back to Ultron and Sigma when Thanos cracked the Reality Stone.
(Thanos damages the Reality Stone)
Ultron Sigma: Weeeee…...IIIII…..You….you hurt me….you hurt us….that HURT!
B: Damn! Does that mean if one of the two stones on him is destroyed, Ultron Sigma dies?
W: It's highly possible. But within his quest, Ultron Sigma was so obsessed with the stones that he overlooked one small detail…
Thanos: You have no soul, machine. The true power of the stones will remain forever beyond your reach.
B: Boy, maybe he should've listened. The Devil is a MASSIVE trickster, and since Dante is his kid, he tricked Ultron Sigma into getting the Soul Stone, and when he tried to control its power, he couldn't and blew up!
Popup: As demonstrated by Ultron within Hank Pym's body in the prelude of Marvel Comics' 2018 comic book event Infinity Countdown, the only way for Ultron and Sigma to use the Soul Stone is that they need to possess organic hosts, such as humans, and trap their souls inside the said stone in order to use its full-power, without having side-effects. Not possessing the knowledge on possessing organic hosts first in order to be able to tap into the Soul Stone's power was a major mistake and the biggest weakness for Ultron Sigma.
W: But while the Soul Stone DID cure the Sigma Virus, it didn't outright destroy Ultron Sigma. Instead, their fusion became more unstable and they went mad, becoming the powerful behemoth called Ultron Omega.
B: OH MY GOD! Ultron's a freaking tumor on Sigma's head!
W: In this form, Ultron Omega immensely lacks mobility, but has devastating power.
B: He can do an "IMMA FIRIN MAH' LAZER!" impression with Sigma's head, combine their four hands for a powerful attack they partly did on Dante, and even do ANOTHER impression with the Reality and Space Stones.
W: Still, he was immensely vulnerable. He took more damage if his guard was broken, and was ultimately finished off by Ultimate Armor Mega Man X's Infinity Buster, which was powered by the remaining four Infinity Stones.
B: Man, with all six, Ultron Omega would DEFINITELY not feel so good!
W: But while his threat may be over, Ultron Sigma still remains as a formidable digital god in a robotic utopia, and he would never stop, until they were all infected.
Ultron Sigma: We are Ultron Sigma. We are your god.
THE FIGHT:
W: Alright, the combatants are set! And we've run the data through all possible outcomes! Let's end this debate once and for all!
B: It's time for a DEATH BATTLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEE!
…
(X vs Zero: Speed Version - Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite)
The arena is a four-way fusion between Outworld, Apokolips, Asgard, and Abel City. Dark Kahn is on a rampage, tearing through Ultron Drones and Xgardians. Ultron Sigma descends from above, and the Reality Stone erases an Explosive Blast headed right for them.
Ultron Sigma: You disgust us, abomination! And for that, you shall suffer!
Dark Kahn: You seek to destroy me. Good…
Ultron Sigma groans as he begins to glow yellow.
Dark Kahn: Give in to your rage. Unleash your aggression.
Ultron Sigma roars as he draws his beam saber and throws off his cape.
Dark Kahn and DB Announcer: FIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHTTTT!
The two charge and clash weapons, Wrath Hammer against Beam Saber. The two trade blows until Dark Kahn uppercuts Ultron Sigma and sends him falling upwards towards an altered- gravity platform. Dark Kahn pummels Ultron Sigma before slamming his Wrath Hammer down, sending him flying onto the platform. Before Dark Kahn can land a flying punch onto the Space Stone, it activates, making the gravity pull downwards. The platform crashes and Dark Kahn is pinned down by the gravity as Ultron Sigma chuckles.
Ultron Sigma: You forget, Titan. Reality and Space are ours to command!
Dark Kahn gets back up, laughing.
Dark Kahn: Outstanding! Such ferocity! The hatred! The anger! Your combat hastens the merging!
Ultron Sigma: Fools! Our will is law! We will destroy you!
Ultron Sigma then unleashes his Level 3 Hyper Combo, but Dark Kahn doesn't move.
Dark Kahn: Enough!
He unleashes several Explosive Blasts that destroy each meteor, then charges at Ultron Sigma, who readies his Infinity Stones.
Ultron Sigma: Now you'll see! Face our overwhelming power!
Ultron Sigma activates his Infinity Storms, trapping Dark Kahn in a box space while unleashing elemental attacks. Finally, Dark Kahn roars in anger as he unleashes his Kombat Rage. He blasts Ultron Sigma full force with it, causing him to see both Iron Man and Mega Man X.
Ultron Sigma: You will never silence us! WE'LL OBLITERATE YOU!
Ultron Sigma flies forward, but Dark Kahn grabs him by the head, punches the Reality Stone and kicks the Space Stone, damaging both. Ultron Sigma roars out in pain, causing him to flicker and nearly separate.
Ultron Sigma: It can't be...why have...we...MALFUNCTION!
Dark Kahn: On your feet! This battle is not over! You will FIGHT!
As he begins to defuse, the Kombat Rage begins to consume him.
Dark Kahn: Yeeeeesssss…..
Suddenly, when Ultron Sigma's body is completely yellow, a red light glows brightly. With a battle cry, Ultron Sigma uses the power of the Reality Stone to completely erase the Kombat Rage entirely.
Dark Kahn: WHAT?!
Ultron Sigma glows purple with energy and laughs menacingly.
Ultron Sigma: This is PERFECT! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
He then combines the power of the Reality and Space Stones to transform into Ultron Omega. Dark Kahn tries to attack, but with the Kombat Rage snapped from existence, he is powerless.
Ultron Omega: INFERIOR CREATURE! YOU DARE DEFY A GOD?!
Ultron Omega charges his Level 3 Hyper Combo.
Ultron Omega: THIS IS YOUR END! DIIIIIIEEEEEE!
Dark Kahn screams as he is turned to dust by the two beams, and the merged world of Apokolips and Outworld become infected by the Sigma Virus. Using the Reality Stone, Ultron Omega reverts back into Ultron Sigma.
Ultron Sigma: Imbecile! We are invincible!
AFTERMATH:
DB Announcer: KO!
B: Oh DAMN! Forget a snap, he freakin' CLAPPED!
W: Dark Kahn may have been a formidable force, but Ultron Sigma was a stable fusion. Plus, the Reality Stone could alter existence, so it's possible that it could be used to erase the Kombat Rage from existence. And since it can also alter one's body, Ultron Sigma COULD use it to transform into Ultron Omega and back.
B: Good timing, too! Ultron Omega is far weaker in terms of defense, but Ultron Sigma transformed when their opponent was even weaker than they were! Dark Kahn may have threatened to destroy universes with sheer existence alone, but Ultron Sigma could control two aspects of the universe, something Dark Kahn NEVER saw coming.
W: While the death of Darkseid alone collapsed reality, someone with the Reality Stone could easily remake it. If Ultron Sigma even had the chance, he could easily infect Dark Kahn with the Sigma Virus if he wasn't that dangerous.
B: But in the end, it looks like Dark Kahn ultimately ended up Kombat Rage-Quitting.
W: The winner is Ultron Sigma.
