In Old Paris, there is a Ghost known as Aquarius roaming around searching for the pile of bones of an ancient hero from 1944. While that was happening, inside the Last City, the Vanguard looked at the surroundings of the Last City and then the Titan Vanguard, Cosimo Di Mino said, "We got the Vex to the North of the city. Fallen at the West of the city. Hive at the South of the city. And Cabal to the East of the city."

The Hunter Vanguard, Violet-3 said, "Well, those are the only threats surrounding our city, but we have a shit ton of other enemies throughout the Earth and universe."

The Warlock Vanguard, Elias Khan said, "Well, there really is nothing that we can do at the current moment. But it seems that the Traveler has created more Ghosts for us to get more Guardians. So, we should be ok for now."

Cosimo looked at the desk and then said, "Hm, one of the Specter's is in Old Paris. In Old France."

Violet-3 said, "There shouldn't be anything there. Just the Fallen after the Fall of Earth due to the Darkness."

Elias said, "A lot of dead people will be found in France due to World War 1 and 2. We also had World War 3. But if that Ghost is over there for a person, then I wonder who it'll be."

Cosimo said, "The Ghosts always choose randomly against our will. What will happen when the Guardians turn on Humanity?"

Violet-3 answered, "We'll just have to wait."

Once Aquarius got to the top of the Eiffel Tower, she scanned a set of bones that lied there and said, "I finally found you. I've been looking for you for over a hundred years. It is time for you to wake up, Thomas Ambers. You've slept for long enough."

She started reviving him and the Fallen started running up the tower to kill Aquarius. After 5 minutes, Thomas appeared with a new body and then he started cracking his neck back and forth and then Aquarius said, "Welcome back. I've been searching for you for over a hundred years. We need to get you out of here."

Thomas looked at her and asked, "Who are you?"

Aquarius answered, "Aquarius, a Ghost created by the Traveler to bring Guardians back to the Last City on Earth. And I'm going to do just that, but right now, we're in Fallen territory. I'll get you to the Last City, but first we need to deal with this threat first. So, let's find you a weapon so that you can defend yourself."

Thomas said, "Sounds like a plan."

Aquarius entered his body and then said, "Don't worry, I'm still with you. Just go down the Eiffel Tower."

Thomas did and then saw that a group of beings were climbing the tower and then looked around and then Aquarius said, "The Fallen are coming faster than anticipated. Alright. There is a weapon up ahead on the crate ahead of you."

Thomas heard that and then ran to the crate and looked at it and then saw the pistol on the crate and then said, "Well shit. Someone left a pistol here."

Thomas picked it up and then looked at it and said, "Or so I think."

Aquarius said, "Well, welcome to the year 3628. You've been dead for almost 2000 years."

Thomas said, "I can tell. The world looks like it went to shit."

Thomas looked at the stairs and then aimed his pistol at the stairs and then said, "So, what are these things that I'm about to kill again?"

Aquarius answered, "A faction known as the Fallen. They are comprised of houses, instead of organizations. So, House of Cards is one of many factions of Fallen. House of Light, Darkness, Devils, Demons, I can continue, but I won't because I think that you understand already."

Thomas said, "Yep. Well then, let's go..."

The Dregs and Vandals started to appear and Thomas shot them in the head one after the next to help him get down the tower. As they kept running up, a named Fallen appeared and Aquarius said, "Pepas, Paris Patroller. He is a bigger version of a Dreg that patrols Old Paris. That is why he is known as the Paris Patroller. He's a part of the House of Snow. The person with the most kills is Commander Zavala, but he passed away over a thousand years ago. He was the Titan Vanguard a long time ago."

Thomas said, "I see."

Pepas shot at him as he got to the top and then Thomas moved around to dodge each bullet that was fired at him. As Thomas was moving, he also fired at Pepas to kill him. Pepas took 5 bullets to the head before collapsing and then Thomas started walking down the stairs so that he could get to the bottom. Thomas asked, "So, where is the Last City anyway?"

Aquarius answered, "Washington D.C. Meaning the former capital of the United States in your time. It used to be in Canada before the Traveler decided to move to Washington D.C. It isn't as safe as it was in Canada, but there really is nothing that we can do about that now, is there?"

Thomas answered, "Nope. And how will we arrive at the Last City?"

Aquarius answered, "We'll have to find an abandoned ship within the city of Old Paris to get to the Last City. That won't be easy. And the communications are down, so we can't contact the base from here."

Thomas said, "Makes sense. Meaning that we'll need to deactivate the jammer interfering with our comms before we leave."

Aquarius said, "Exactly."

Thomas said, "Alrighty then. Let's get a move on it then."

Thomas shot the Dregs, Shanks, Vandals, and Wretches that came after them as they went down the Eiffel Tower. Aquarius said, "You really are just as good as your profile reads."

Thomas said, "Well, I did survive the Battle of Belleau Wood. After the war, I just went to Paris and lived there for the rest of my life. Also, died there. On top of the Eiffel Tower where I wanted to die. A beautiful place. And here I am."

Aquarius said, "Well, it is time to enjoy the future and travel to other worlds."

Thomas smiled and then said, "I see. I love the sound of travel to other worlds. You are serious about that, right?"

Aquarius answered, "Yes. You can travel to Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, the Moon, Phobos, and every other place within the solar system. Also, we expanded beyond the Sol System, so we are capable of traveling to other worlds from other systems."

Thomas said, "I like that. This era rocks."

Thomas appeared at the 7/8ths mark and another named Fallen appeared. Aquarius said, "Dolvor, Paris' Executioner. He has killed many Guardians in the past. Be careful."

Thomas looked at him and then said, "A Vandal, yes?"

Dolvor howled loudly and then a bunch of Fallen started to dig out of the ground and then Thomas started going back up and fired at them all. Aquarius said, "Dolvor is a Vandal like you mentioned. And is also capable of summoning his own men. They aren't normal Fallen. So, Dolvor's is added to the front of their species. Like Dolvor's Dreg, Dolvor's Wretch, Dolvor's Shank, and Dolvor's Vandal."

Thomas said, "I see."

Thomas looked at them and then reloaded his pistol and Dolvor howled again and more started to appear. Thomas shot Dolvor in the head after reloading and Dolvor collapsed. He started crawling up the stairs and Thomas smiled and shot him in the head and then finished the remaining units that served him that were on the ground. Thomas continued going down the stairs and then Thomas got to the bottom and another named Fallen appeared. Thomas asked, "What is this?"

Aquarius answered, "A Captain known as Yylvos, Head of State. Head of State doesn't mean that it is the leader of the House of Snow. It also doesn't mean that it is a leader of Old Paris. Head of State is a title given to him due to the face that he is rarely seen throughout the area. He only appears when danger arrives. And you seem to be a threat to the Fallen of Old Paris."

Thomas smiled and then Aquarius said, "Captains have shields that protect them. And they teleport from time to time. So, you'll probably never kill him, unless he decides to stay after getting hurt severely."

Thomas started firing at him and Yylvos said, "You really are a threat to the Fallen. You must perish."

Thomas heard that and then said, "They speak our language."

Aquarius said, "Some enemies will be able to understand our language. Some will just speak their language. It is weird, but you'll get used to it."

Thomas sighed and then Yylvos lifted his cannon up and fired at him, but Thomas rolled forward and continued to shoot at him and Yylvos watched and moved around with him. Thomas jumped up and launched himself at Yylvos and Yylvos saw that and asked, "What the hell are you doing?"

Thomas grabbed his cannon and lifted it up toward his head and then Yylvos growled and then asked, "What the hell is with this brute strength?"

Thomas growled and then Thomas held it in position with his right arm and let go with his left. He lowered it to the trigger and then Yylvos grabbed his arm and then said, "No, you don't."

Thomas looked at him and then roared loudly and Yylvos stared at him and then Thomas looked at him and then Yylvos said, "You will not kill me that easily."

Thomas brought all of his force down with his left and made him pull the trigger himself. The cannon went off and blew his head off immediately and then Thomas said, "I always win."

Thomas looked around and asked, "Which way do we go, Ghost?"
