Chapter One: Injured:

Olivia groaned as she laid on the emergency room gurney at Lenox Hill Hospital. An Ice pack rested on her knee cap. She had just gotten back from X ray. She hadn't been injured at work in a really super long time! Well now leave it to her first case back with her old partner Elliot Stabler a case she had been working on as a favor to him! Now here she laid with a potential broken knee and a potential broken ankle. Maybe a few ribs. Thursday's freaking sucked in her book.

She sighed as her Detective Amanda Rollins whipped back the curtain and walked into the small triage room where they were keeping her. "How you feelin Liv?" She asked. Olivia just looked at her with an are you serious type of look. "I feel like I got ran over by a 275 pound man high on some street drug we just found! Oh wait. I did!"Olivia sighed as she looked at the woman she had seemingly grew close too. But they weren't that close when she had been the first one to come in as Elliot's replacement.

"Sorry Amanda." She muttered as she looked up at the blonde woman. "I'm a terrible patient." She muttered as she began playing with the few rings she had on her hands. "How's Stabler?" She muttered as she rubbed at her knee cap slow. "Oh he'll be fine. He didn't even need stitches. But now his boss is yelling at him so I just got out of there." Amanda shrugged. Olivia nodded her head and layed back looking up at the celling. Hopeful she would have some kind of answers soon.

She almost groaned out loud when she saw the curtain being pulled back again. But didn't as she saw Fin walk up to the bed. "Okay.. So I may have just done a thing. Something you can't get mad about.. Olivia looked at him with a raised eyebrow before she answered him. "Well I'm not promising anything because it depends on what you did." She muttered calmly as she looked at him again. Fin rubbed his hands together as she looked at him. If looks could kill he would be a dead man where he stood. "Well.. I called Hank.." He muttered as he looked down at the ground.

Olivia looked at him with some sort of shock on her face like she was doing her best to process what had just happened. Doing her best to try to gather herself before the two made eye contact again. Then he saw a complete different look in her eyes.

"You called my husband?!"

Fin looked at her with a shocked expression on her face. "Wow most people would say "thanks. You didn't have to do that. But see as your partner. Your second in command. I got your back!" He smirked. Causing Olivia to roll her eyes.

"Great! Thanks! But you didn't have to do that! But! Now he can kill you and me both." She smirked as she looked at him. Watching the expression on his face change.

Fin swallowed as he looked at her. "Well can't go back now. He lands at Kennedy in 3 hours I'm going to send Rollins over to get him when he does." Olivia just nodded her head as she once again tried her best to get comfortable. No point in worrying about it now. Her horrible temper filled husband was on his way to New York. What more could go wrong? Then she sighed again as the curtain was pulled back and the Doctor walked in.

"Sargent Benson? I have some bad news.. Your knee is in fact broken. You have a torn ligiment. Also a hairline fracture in the foot. But.. No broken ribs so that's a good sign.

Olivia slapped her hand over her face. She just said nothing else could go wrong but of course that was clearly a lie. "What's the next steps?" She muttered as she looked at the Doctor. He swallowed harshly as he looked at her again.

"Well light modified duty of course. Nothing that will get in the way of your healing process. Check in with an orthopedic Doctor. I can give a few different reccomendations. Just most importantly take it easy! Were also probably going to keep you over night to make sure you don't have any concussions or other injuries that may show up over time." He smiled lightly.

"Thanks." Olivia muttered.

Chapter 2: Olivia Benson-Voight:

They had met for the first time in November of 2014. She was just known as Lieutenant Olivia Benson back then. She and Nick Amaro and Amanda were sent to Chicago to co work a case with the Intelligence Unit to shut down a child pornography ring once and for all. Hank of course had been the first person she had met and the first person who was able to fully catch her up to speed. They had finished the case within a couple of days.

Then Hank had taken her to a bar in Downtown Chicago. The two had a few beers. Shared a few laughs. Quickly finding out that they were able to confide in one another in a way that they hadn't been with anyone else around them. A bond was quickly made. That was also when the two had fallen into bed together for the first time. She had found herself sneaking out of his house in the wee hours of the early morning. Leaving nothing but her phone number behind.

Then of course after that the two had still managed to stay in contact with one another. Text messages were exchanged. Late night phone calls also exchanged when one called the other to talk about a case and to talk about how they didn't really think they would sleep that night. More than likely they both ended up falling asleep on the phone with one another.

Then random gifts started coming from one another. Olivia had been the one to start that of course. Sending Hank a rare and expensive bottle of whiskey. Right into his own station house. Of course with a note attached. Only 2 people in the entire world knew what that note said. Olivia being the person who wrote it and Hank being the person to recieve it. Of course the note was still in his desk to this day.

Then 2 dozen long stemmed roses mixed with a batch of sunflowers had found themselves sitting on Olivia's desk when she had walked into the bull pen one morning. Of course leaving the entire room full of questions. Olivia herself was full of information that she was never willing to share. Of course to this day she hadn't shared it. And also to this day like clock work every other Friday Olivia Benson had a different flower arrangement sitting on her desk.

The two met again in 2016 during the case of Greg Yates. When the killing of Erin Lindsay's new found savior project Nadia was killed by him. Olivia caught the first flight from New York to Chicago. That case took a little more time than the last time she was out in Chicago. This one had taken almost a month of her time to solve. A month she had spent between the 21st District and Hank Voight's home. Then she picked up and went back to New York.

Hank flew out to spend the weekend with her just 2 weeks later.

That had become sort of a routine for them. Phone calls. Text messages. Video chats and random gifts. Then random last minute pop up visits. Usually depending on how much vacation time the other person had saved up. The visits had either been a quick weekend or a very long week. The week visits were the hardest. When it was time to leave the other person never wanted too. That on the other hand was usually Olivia.

She didn't think much of Hank Voight when they first met. They had just done their job way to different than one another. She played by the legal rules of her job. Hank Voight? He was in a league of his own. But maybe? Deep down? That's what attracted Olivia Benson to him in the first place.

They had been doing whatever they called this little song and dance for almost 2 years when one night while they were lounged on Hank's couch watching some hockey game that Olivia really had no interest in at all when Hank out of no where slipped a 2 carat pear shaped diamond on a white gold diamond paved band onto her ring finger.

Olivia looked at him with a shocked expression on his face. The two didn't say one word to one another and Olivia was just as shocked that it was actually the perfect fit. Hank just squeezed her hand tightly looking at her in the eyes. In that moment Olivia could just nod her head with a yes notion and just like that. The two were engaged. Not a soul had a clue.

The two eloped in a Chicago court house not even 2 months later.

Then a few months after that the two had taken their so called honey moon. Both agreeing that Paris France was the best option. Only because Olivia had recently become obsessed with France and had been asking to go for almost a year. But of course Hank being the romantic that he was that no one knew he was had other plans.

The two had yet another small ceremony. Just the two of them and the officiant. This one a little more formal than their last. Hank had actually put on a dress shirt for this one and Olivia had picked out the perfect cream colored romper. The two exchanged vows once again on a Parisian roof top in Paris in the mid afternoon.

Chapter 3: The Husband:

Olivia sighed as she grabbed the pillow from behind her head for the 3rd time in the past 30 minutes. Punching it once again a couple of more times. She had only officially been admitted into the hospital for over night observation an hour ago and she was tired of being here. Fin had sent her a text saying he would be coming to visit again within in the hour. Just to basically check if there had been anymore changes that he wasn't aware of when he was here the last time.

She sighed as she picked her phone up off the tray again. The I phone was almost dead at this point and she needed a charger. She sighed as she clicked her text message thread. Watching as they came onto the screen. She had sent Hank over 3 different text messages. All of them not read. Simply reading just DELIVERED. Meaning he was either on the plane with his phone not out. Or he was on his way here and wasn't going to give her any kind of warning. Either way at this point? She just wanted her husband.

Taking her glasses off again she tossed them onto the tray. She began rubbing the bridge of her nose back and forth. Trying to just simmer the headache that she knew would be coming on at any moment. She hated hospitals. She never wanted to ever go and she also knew that she was a terrible patient. Sighing she started to relax as she heard the door being knocked on.

"It's open." Olivia muttered. Then she watched as Elliot Stabler walked in.

"Hey Liv.. How are you feeling?" Olivia groaned as she looked at him. "Are you being serious right now? I feel like I got hit by a bus! It's only starting to get worse! Why after almost a decade can you not still listen to me?" She sighed as she made eye contact with him. Years ago those blue eyes would have made her forget everything that she was saying. But not anymore. Not now. Not ever. Right now she just wanted him out of her face.

But before he even got a chance to answer the door opened again. This time without a single knock. But Olivia smiled as bright as she could when she saw the person walk fgrom behind the curtain.

"Babe.. What the hell happened?" He asked with the raspy voice that Olivia had fallen for as soon as the two had met.

"I'm broken." She whispered with a smile as he walked over to the right side of her bed. He leaned down pressing his lips against her temple letting it linger for a few minutes.

She watched as Elliot stood there just confused. Almost like he had a deer in the headlights look on his face. Olivia was dreading this part. She didn't want it to go down like this. She had pictured over a dozen times how Elliot and Hank were going to meet. This was not one of them but it was going to happen rather she wanted it to or not.

Olivia swallowed as she looked between the two men. Watching as Hank went and sat on the edge of her bed. Pulling his phone out of his pocket. "It's dead." He muttered as he shook it in front of Olivia's face. "Don't worry. You still have plenty of messages from me!" She smirked as she reached over and grabbed his hand before taking a deep breath in.

"Hank. This is my ex partner Elliot Stabler. El this is Sargent Hank Voight he runs Intelligence in Chicago and uh he also happens to be my husband." She muttered.

Hank looked at him up and down. If this man was trying to intimidate him he was losing the battle.

"Oh. Your the reason my wife is in this hospital bed." He smirked.

Chapter 4: Baby On Board?

Olivia sighed as she shifted in the bed again. This time she shifted loudly. She was tired of the hospital. If she had to lay in bed she would rather it be her own bed. She sighed as she punched the side of the bed. Looking at her husband who was stretched out in a chair. Glasses on his face and a book in his hand. She didn't even know where the hell he had gotten the damn thing in the first place.

"I want to go home!" She groaned as she twisted her head and looked at him. Hank just shook his head with a smirk. "So you've said. A few dozen times in the last hour." He muttered as he looked at her. A small smile forming on his face. "Tomorrow babe. You can go home tomorrow" He muttered as he stood up and walked to the side of her bed. Grabbing onto her hand tightly. He rubbed his thumb across her knuckles. Olivia sighed as she closed her eyes trying to get her body to relax. She really did indeed hate hospitals.

Her trying her best relaxing thoughts were quickly interrupted when she heard a small knock on the door. Olivia sighed as she turned her head completely shocked when she saw the person walk in. One of the least people she would expect to see in a situation like this. Her Gynecologist Emily Mason walked in. Olivia looked at her with a raised eyebrow as she walked in.

"How are you feeling Olivia?" The woman smiled at her. Olivia looked at her again like she had found herself in the wrong room. "Uh I'm on the mend.. But I don't think my injuries require a visit from you.. No offense." She laughed. Emily just shook her head with a smile. "Oh of course. None taken." The woman smiled in return. "I was actually pulled in by your emergency room Doctor." She smiled as she walked over to Olivia's bed.

"Uh why?" Olivia asked looking at the woman. "What the hell is going on?" Olivia muttered.

Emily took a breath in as she looked at the older woman. How the hell was she going to tell this woman what she was about to tell her.

"Well when they got your blood tests back they saw a couple of things. One concerned them. Please keep in mind it was part of the order they just wanted to make sure they had covered all of their bases.. But your HCG Level was extremely high. Olivia swallowed.. "No fucking way.." She whispered. Emily nodded her head. "So uh.. I just wanted to come take you down for a quick ultrasound and see what I can see. Confirm the beliefs.

"I'm 48.." Olivia whispered still in complete shock as she looked at the woman.

Hank looked back and forth between the women. Overly confused with what was going on at the moment. "What's wrong with her?" He muttered. Olivia looked over at him squeezing his hand as she locked eyes with him.

"She's saying I'm pregnant." She muttered.

"Pregnant.." Hank repeated as he tangled his hand with Olivia's.

Emily nodded her head as she looked at the older couple. "According to these test results. She's also decently further along. So we could even probably see a heartbeat.. But most importantly I'll be able to see what were working with.. So I want to take her down to Ultrasound. Now."

Hank looked at Olivia with a slight smile to his face. Olivia of course wanted to knock it off at this point.

"So were gonna be the oldest parents at pre school?" He muttered.
