So... this has been sitting in my docs for a while now and since I have been unable to work as much on my other stories I thought I would share it with yourselves for the hell of it! The later chapters will have SMUT and I will be cross posting on AO3 when they go up.

Enjoy!

"Girl! Just get it out of your system before he comes back," Alya instructed her from the other end of the phone. "If you didn't want to see him constantly walking around half naked, then why the hell did you move in with him?"

Marinette groaned.

Running a hand down her face, she flopped back on their shared sofa. The young woman had never imagined it would be so hard to share an apartment with a bonafide god named Adrien Agreste. Her school girl crush was now a distant memory, but her libido and love for the guy was in full effect, and since she had moved in with the blonde, any potential suitors had not been heard of since they found out who her roommate was.

If she pondered over that properly, it might have made sense.

Obviously he was seen as a threat by them, but Marinette had always insisted that they were just friends, and that Adrien was great once they got to know him.

They seemed to spend one evening around the two cohabitors and she would never hear from them again. The suitors did not even seem to mind when she rushed off to fight an Akumas in the middle of a date: it was always meeting Adrien that put them off. The only reason she introduced them to her roommate was to make sure they got on, and Adrien insisted he meet them to make sure they were good enough…

Now, Marinette was seriously regretting agreeing to that.

It seemed that the only other male she could hang around with was Chat Noir, and she dared not start something romantic with him: just in case Adrien became all protective and pulled the 'big brother' speech. Again.

Moving out was beginning to seem very appealing.

Even though Adrien was adamant that she just had to cover half the food shop while he took care of the rest… and the fact that the apartment was practically a roll out of bed from campus.

Was it worth the dry spell of nine months though?

"You know why I moved in with him Als… I have saved so much by being here, and it's just so easy. He's a great roommate-"

"Until he scares off a potential boyfriend M… there's only one reason for that, that I can think of if I'm honest…"

Marinette expected her best friend would have said that in a teasing fashion, but this time, the media student was deadly serious.

"He's just protective, that's all." Marinette sighed while defending her roommate. "He was the one who picked me up after Peter, he doesn't want me getting hurt again."

Alya cleared her throat, "I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you in person Mari, and I'm sure Adrien means well, but you need to speak to him about this." She chuckled through her nose down the phone, "you have needs, and if he's not going to fulfill them, then Sunshine needs to stop cock blocking the guys that you are interested in."

Marinette rolled her eyes and moved to lie down on the stupidly big and comfortable sofa. Many a night she had fallen asleep while they watched television together, and had always woken up with Adrien's arm around her well rested form. Sometimes their legs had even become intertwined as they lay next to each other, but the way the blonde had jumped up as soon as they woke, told Marinette that it was accidental: there was no way he would want to be the one that took care of those needs.

After a moment of silence had passed, Alya spoke once more:

"What time is he due home?"

"Later on, about nine I think…" Marinette pursed her lips as she tried to remember if he gave her a time. "He's picking up dinner on the way home."

There was an obvious smirk in Alya's voice. "Girl~! If that's the case, you have two hours to sort yourself, if you know what I mean…"

Marinette shook her head and smiled at her best friend's suggestion.

"Why don't you spoil yourself on that amazingly lush sofa, stick Mr Pussylicker on the lap top… and y'know… treat yourself!"

Marinette was mortified. "ALYA!"

"Don't Alya me! I know that's what you use to get off so use it now, before he comes ho-"

"I can't do it on the SOFA!"

"Why not?" Marientte knew her friend shrugged innocently, "the risk of being caught will make it that much better."

"Alya," Marinette deadpanned at the ceiling, "I am not mastirbating on the sofa when Adrien could walk in at any moment with our dinner. What if he happens to bring someone home with him tonight!?"

"I very much doubt it M. Nine months you guys have been cohabiting now, and he is yet to show interest in anyone except that stupid crush on Ladybug he has going on! And I'm sure that's just to make it known that he is interested in women." Alya tsked while Marinette stifled an exasperated sigh, "even Nino can't understand why he isn't dating unless he's just working up the courage to finally~ ask you!"

And this was what Marinette found so frustrating.

Her heartthrob of a roommate was parading around in next to nothing some nights, occasionally catching her wide eyes staring at his defined abs, but did abs-olutely nothing about it! Marinette would always love Adrien, but her inability to tell him how she felt had led her to try to move on from him and find a way to love someone else. He had his opportunity, he had been given multiple opportunities, as had she; so Marinette could not see how they would ever get past taking that plunge even if he did reciprocate her feelings.

Marinette grunted with frustration, "Als I'm gonna go and try to distract myself."

"Is that code for-"

"NO! N-no. No. No it is not Alya."

"If you say so~"

"It does. I do. Say so…"

"Uh-huh."

Marinette groaned and took in a deep breath while her friend sniggered down the phone at her protests. "Speak to you tomorrow."
