In the city of Las Volmos, school was over and all the children were packing up their things to go home.
In the hallway, a girl opened her locker and placed all of her study books in her blue backpack. She had long pail blonde hair that was kept in a long ponytail and light green eyes. She wore a white shirt under a pink sweater, an orange bow that kept her ponytail in place, purple trousers, pink socks and white and blue trainers. This was Ashley Summers.
Ashley was just a pretty normal girl who lived a pretty normal life. Unlike others, who battle and play with these creatures from another world called Bakugan. She knew that only people born after the event that merged the Bakugan's world, Vestroia, with Earth called the Great Collision are able to use Bakugan and she was one of them. Unfortunately, she's never found a Bakugan in her life.
After putting her last book away, Ashley closed the locker and locked it.
"Hey, Ashley!" Ashley turned around and saw a girl with light blue hair tied into a bun smiling at her. This was Lia Venegas. One of Ashley's classmates and best friends.
"Hi, Lia." Ashley said kindly. "What are you planning on doing today?"
"I just I figured it would be nice to hang out with the boys and post a few new videos." Lia said. "What about you?"
"I'm just gonna go home and catch up on my studies." Ashley replied. "But to be honest, I just wanna get my own Bakugan like you and find someone to battle."
"Don't worry, Ashley. I'm sure you'll get a Bakugan one day." Lia assured.
"Thanks, Lia." Ashley said with a smile.

Ashley headed back home, but was still thinking about having a Bakugan before sighing.
"I'll have a Bakugan. Some day." Ashley said to herself.
Then, she saw a small light on the left in the woods.
Ashley turned and was curious about what that was.
"What was that wired small flash?" She asked. "Maybe I'll go take a look."
Ashley ran into the woods to find the small light she saw.
She kept on searching and hoped she would find something interesting.
"Maybe I'll find a diamond or a quarter." Ashley said with a smile. "That'd be nice."
Ashley noticed the bright light again and it was closer too.
"That's gotta be it!" Ashley exclaimed before running over to it.
When she was close enough, Ashley gasped in shock when she saw what the shining light actually was.
It was a White Bakugan ball floating inside a small pile of goop!
Ashley couldn't believe that a Bakugan was really in front of her right now.
"A… a Bakugan!" She gasped in awe.
She didn't know why, but Ashley felt like this Bakugan was calling to her.
Ashley knelt down to the goop pile and reached into it before she was splattered by it when she touched it.
Ashley wiped all the goop off of her and looked on in disgust.
"This is super gross." She muttered.
Ashley felt something in her hand and looked to see the Bakugan that was inside the goop.
"Wow! It's my own Bakugan!" Ashley said cheerfully.
Then, Ashley noticed a white tile appear not far from her.
She remembered from one of the Awesome Brawlers' videos that you have to throw your Bakugan onto the correct coloured tile to make it appear.
"Maybe if I…" Ashley thought before she tossed the Bakugan ball onto the tile and it suddenly shined brightly and grew bigger.
When the light faded, Ashley saw a huge white and light blue two-headed dragon-like Bakugan that had orange eyes on it's left head and green eyes on it's right head.
The Bakugan looked around it's surroundings.
"So, this is the planet called Earth?" It asked, each head taking turns talking. "We never imagined it to be so colourful and interesting."
The Bakugan then noticed Ashley staring at it.
"Are you okay, human?" The Bakugan asked.
Ashley snapped out of her shocked state and put on a small smile.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Ashley assured. "I'm just kinda surprised to see you, that's all."
"We can relate to that." The Bakugan replied. "What's your name?"
"I'm Ashley. Ashley Summers." Ashley answerd.
"Well Ashley, we're glad to meet you." The Bakugan said kindly. "Our name is Nillious."
"Why do you keep saying 'we'?" Ashley asked Nillious. "Is it because you're actually two beings fused into one, which explains why you've got two heads?"
"You could say that." Nillious admitted. "But it's also because we share two different personalities."
"Cool!" Ashley complemented.
Nillious transformed back into ball form and landed in Ashley's hand.
"So, does this make us partners now?" Ashley asked while smiling.
Nillious changed into a smaller version of his figure form and looked up at Ashley.
"It sure does." Nillious said with a nod.
"Great!" Ashley remarked.
Suddenly, something else caught the corner of Ashley and Nillious' eyes and they saw four more Bakugan inside four piles of goop.
"More Bakugan?!" Ashley asked in shock.
"Now that's a surprise!" Nillious admitted.
Ashley quickly ran up to the other Bakugan and when she reached her hands to them, she was completely drenched with goop.
"Ugh. I really need to have a shower when I get home." Ashley groaned in disgust.
She looked at her hands and saw the four other Bakugan in them. There was a red one and black one in her left hand, and a blue one and green one in the other.
"It looks like we already have some new friends." Nillious said.
"Yeah, it does!" Ashley agreed.
She saw four different coloured tiles that were the same colour as the four Bakugan in her hands.
"Alright, time to meet out new teammates!" Ashley stated.
She threw all four Bakugan onto their respective colourful tiles and they transformed into their true forms.
The red Bakugan was a huge bee with a green crystal-like stinger, the blue Bakugan was a Knight with a sword for a left hand, the green Bakugan was a Leviathan with a long tail and huge wings for hands, and the black one was a huge serpent with six blade-like arms.
"Oh yeah!" The Leviathan Bakugan said in delight. "I'm so glad to finally be up and ready to brawl!"
"Who'ssssss up firssssst? I'll take on all three of you!" The serpent Bakugan stated, determined.
"Do you think now is a good time to brawl?" The Knight Bakugan asked in a wise tone.
"Actually, I think we were all woken up by the same person." The bee Bakugan admitted.
"What makes you think that?" The Leviathan Bakugan asked.
The bee Bakugan directed them all to Ashley and Nillious.
"Oh." The Leviathan Bakugan said simply.
"Nice to meet you guys." Ashley said kindly. "I'm Ashley Summers."
"And we are Nillious." Nillious introduced, jumping on Ashley's shoulder. "What does everybody call you four?"
"I'm Serpenteze." The Leviathan Bakugan said.
"Cimoga, nice to meet you." The serpent Bakugan added.
"You may call me Cyndeous." The Knight Bakugan said with a bow.
"And I am Barbetra." The bee Bakugan said in a polite manner.
"Well, it's really great to have you all with us." Ashley said.
"Nice to hear." Serpenteze replied.
"Anyway, where can we have a Bakugan Battle?" Cimoga asked. "I've been sssssleeping for ssssso long, I don't even have any energy to eat!"
Ashley thought for a little before an idea came up inside her head.
"Well, I know a friend of mine, who's got some Bakugan with her." Ashley admitted. "We can go ask her and her friends for a battle."
"Very well, miss Ashley." Cyndeous said with a bow.
"Take us to this friend of yours." Barbetra stated as she and the others returned to ball form.
They all changed into their mini forms just like Nillious and got into Ashley's bag.
"Man, this place is really crowded." Serpenteze commented.
"What's this weird, rubbery square?" Barbetra asked.
"Maybe it's some kind of toy or snack." Cyndeous guessed.
"You've sssssure got a lot of big wooden ssssstickssss inssssside this red container, Ashley." Cimoga told his new partner.
"That 'Red Container' Is called a pencil case." Ashley replied. "And that rubbery thing is an eraser."
"Thanksssss for the tip." Cimoga said.
"You're welcome." Ashley said with a smile. "Now, let's get going."
"Right!" Ashley's Bakugan agreed.
And just like that, Ashley went to go and find her favourite brawlers in the world.

Speaking on which, the Awesome Brawlers themselves were at their training arena, Studio D, filming another live video about Bakugan battling.
"Okay, everything's in place, you guys!" Lia called out.
"Ruff!" Lightning the Dog barked.
"Great!" Dan Kuzo remarked. "Let's get this battle going!"
"Hope your ready for what I've got in store, Dan!" Wynton Styles said with a smirk.
"I think that we should just have fun and make sure our fans enjoy it." Shun Kazami said calmly.
"Let's get started, then!" Ajit stated.
All four boys took out their Bakugan.
"Bakugan-!" They started.
"Excuse me!" A voice interrupted.
Dan, Wynton, Shun and Ajit collapsed awkwardly when they heard the voice.
"Uh, who was that?" Dan asked.
"We're making a live video here!" Lia snapped.
The Awesome Brawlers saw Ashley standing at the entrance to Studio D.
"Hi." Ashley said with a smile.
"Hey there." Ajit replied.
"Who're you?" Wynton questioned.
"Ashley?" Lia asked in surprise. "What're you doing here?"
"I wanna talk to you guys about something." Ashley answered.
"You know her, Lia?" Shun asked his friend.
"Yeah, we're classmates." Lia said.
After letting Ashley in, the Awesome Brawlers sat with the Pale-Blonde girl on the benches.
"So, you said you wanted to talk to us about something?" Ajit said.
"That's right." Ashley nodded while stroking Lightning.
"Well, if you wanna get some cool Bakugan battling tips, you've come to the right people!" Dan said with pride.
Wynton, Lia, Shun and Ajit sweat dropped in response.
"That's not what I wanted to talk about." Ashley said with a deadpan expression.
"Oh." Dan said before smiling nervously. "Heh heh! My bad!"
"Your head's still as thick as ever." Lia muttered.
"Anyway, I made some new friends today and they really want to meet your Bakugan." Ashley explained.
The Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan, who consisted of Dragonoid AKA Drago, Trox, Pegatrix, Hydorous, Howlkor and Pharol, appeared on their partners' shoulders.
"They want to meet us?" Drago asked.
"We're honoured." Hydorous said kindly.
"So, where are these friends of yours?" Trox asked Ashley.
"I'll show you right now." Ashley replied as she reached in her bag.
Everyone was confused for a bit before they saw five colourful balls in Ashley's hand.
"Alright, Bakugan Brawl!" Ashley ordered.
Ashley threw the balls into the arena and Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga appeared.
The Awesome Brawlers were completely gobsmacked when they saw the five Bakugan in front of them.
"Alright, I'm ready to meet these undefeated Brawlers!" Serpenteze stated. "Where are they?"
"You might want to look down." Nillious told him.
Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga followed his gaze and saw the Awesome Brawlers in looking at them in astonishment.
"Thessssse are the Awesssssome Brawlersssss you talked about?" Cimoga questioned Ashley.
"They sure are." Ashley answered.
"Why are they staring at us like that?" Cyndeous asked.
"It's like they've never even seen a Bakugan before." Serpenteze commented.
"That is quite strange." Barbetra said.
Dan, Wynton, Lia, Shun, Lightning and Ajit shook their heads and snapped out of their shocked state.
"Sorry if we made you all confused." Shun apologised.
"We were just a bit surprised to see you." Lia admitted.
"You guys are totally okay in our book." Wynton assured.
Nillious saw the Drago and the other Awesome Brawlers Bakugan looking at him cautiously.
"Is there something about us that you don't like?" Nillious asked.
"Sorry, it's just that… you remind us of someone." Drago said.
"Well, we're not like this someone you know." Nillious replied.
"Good to know." Howlkor said in relief.
"I just hope he doesn't have a past with the other Nillious." Pharol whispered.
"Me too." Pegatrix agreed.
"So Ashley, where'd you find these five anyway?" Dan asked.
"I was on my home from school, until I saw this light in the woods and found Nillious." Ashley explained. "Then I got Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga, and all of them wanted to have a battle right away. So I figured I'd come and ask you guys to have a battle with me and my new Bakugan."
The Awesome Brawlers were surprised by this.
"Wow, you sure have some guts if you wanna battle us for your first Bakugan Brawl!" Wynton complemented.
"You could say that." Ashley said while blushing a little bit.
"So, are we just gonna stand here talking or are we gonna brawl?!" Serpenteze asked, getting really impatient.
"Sounds good to me!" Drago agreed.
"Then it's settled!" Dan stated. "Let's have a Bakugan Battle, right now!"
"Great!" Ashley remarked.
Dan, Wynton, Lia, Shun and Lightning took their places and got ready to battle Ashley, while Ajit watched from the sidelines.
He knew that Ashley wouldn't stand a chance against his Golden Bakugan.
"Alright Ashley, this is gonna be a five on five Brawl!" Dan explained. "You can use all of your Bakugan, and each of us will use one!"
"Do you need us to explain the rules?" Shun asked.
"No thanks." Ashley replied. "I already everything about Bakugan Brawls. First, you throw your Bakugan onto the correct coloured tile while shouting 'Bakugan Brawl!' to make it appear in full size. Then, you can use the BakuCore to boost the power of your Bakugan and use different moves. There's also the Drome, which appears when a battle starts and can easily repair any damage done to any kind of structure inside it. And finally, there's Baku Gear. It appears when a Bakugan has been pushed to the brink of defeat and has an incredible amount of power. And that's everything I know."
"Woah, you really do know your stuff." Wynton complemented.
"I watch all your Bakugan tutorial videos." Ashley said.
"If you know everything about battling, let's see what you've got!" Dan stated, bringing out his Bakugan.
Wynton, Lia, Shun and Lightning brought out their Bakugan, too.
"Bakugan Brawl/ruff ruff!" The Awesome Brawlers shouted as they threw their Bakugan onto the correct tiles. "Bakugan stand!"
Drago, Trox, Pegatrix, Hydorous and Howlkor appeared in their full sizes.
Ashley took a deep breath and brought out all five of her Bakugan.
"Here goes." Ashley said quietly. "Bakugan Brawl!"
Ashley tossed her Bakugan onto the tiles and they changed into their miniature forms.
"Bakugan stand!" Ashley ordered.
Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga grew into their larger forms and glared at their opponents.
"Drome up!" Dan ordered.
The drome appeared and covered the entire arena.
"Good luck, you guys!" Ajit cheered.
"Do your best!" Pharol encouraged.
"It's finally time!" Serpenteze announced.
"It is time for us to do a Bakugan Battle!" Cyndeous added.
"Don't expect us to go easy!" Drago warned.
"We were just thinking the same thing!" Nillious replied.
"Go!" Ashley and the Awesome Brawlers ordered.
Right after they said that, both Bakugan teams charged at each other and began battling.
Nillious avoided beating whacked by Drago's tail delivering a powerful blow to the Pyrus Bakugan's chest.
"Cheap shot!" Drago groaned.
"We're just getting started!" Nillious told him. "Haos Assault!"
Nillious fired two white beams from both of his heads at Drago.
"Fly up, Drago!" Dan ordered.
Drago flew into the sky and dodged the attack.
"Big Blast!" Dan ordered as he gave Drago and BakuCore.
Drago fired multiple fireballs at Nillious, who flew around and managed to avoid the first ones, but got shot down by the others.
"Nillious!" Ashley called out.
Nillious stood up from the ground and looked back at his partner.
"We're fine." Nillious assured. "We won't be taken out that easily!"
"Great!" Ashley said with a confident smile. "Let's keep up the attacks!"
Nillious roared and charged at Drago.
Serpenteze avoided all of Trox's chomping attacks and smacked him on the head repeatedly with his whip-like tail.
"Will you just stay still?!" Trox questioned, getting a bit annoyed. "I can't fly, you know?!"
"Too bad for you!" Serpenteze laughed. "Air Slicers!"
Serpenteze fired two green energy blades and struck Trox hard, reducing his power.
"Trox, Rock Riser!" Wynton ordered as he gave Trox a BakuCore.
Trox jumped and stomped on the ground, causing a bunch of spiky rocks to appear from the earth.
The rocks made their way up to Serpenteze.
"Gotta fly!" Serpenteze stated as he fly up, but suddenly felt something tugging him down. "What the?!"
Serpenteze saw that the Rock Riser move had trapped his tail.
"Oh, come on!" Serpenteze complained. "This is so not cool!"
Trox grabbed Serpenteze's tail and pulled him out of the rocks before slamming him onto the ground.
"Claw Cutter!" Shun ordered.
Hydorous pounced at Cyndeous, who blocked his attack with his shield before hitting the Lion Bakugan back with his sword.
"My turn!" Ashley said as she threw an Aquos BakuCore at Cyndeous. "Aquos Slam!"
Cyndeous' sword glowed blue and he prepared to hit Hydorous with it.
"Mysterious Mist!" Shun ordered.
Hydorous blocked his view from Cyndeous by spraying a bunch of mist around the field.
"Where is he?" Cyndeous asked cautiously, searching for his opponent.
"Now, Aquos Hurricane!" Shun ordered as he threw a BakuCore.
"Yes, Shun!" Hydorous stated as he launched a powerful hurricane behind Cyndeous.
"Cyndeous, quick!" Ashley called out. "Water Armour!"
Cyndeous shielded himself with blue armour-plated energy and reduced the damage he took from Hydorous' attack.
"Smart move." Shun complemented.
"Thanks." Ashley replied.
Barbetra and Pegatrix attacked with their stinger and horn and clashed with each other.
"Take this!" Barbetra shouted before smacking Pegatrix with one of her claws.
"Barbetra, Incinerate!" Ashley ordered.
Barbetra launched a stream of fire.
"Not on my watch!" Lia stated as she threw a BakuCore. "Haos Laser!"
Pegatrix recovered from Barbetra's attack before she fired Haos Laser at the fire and caused an explosion.
The force of the explosion was enough to send both Bakugan back down to the ground.
Meanwhile, Howlkor bit down on Cimoga's blades with all three of his heads.
"Alright, I think it'sssss time for me to teach you a few tricks, mutt!" Cimoga stated as he threw Howlkor off. "Voice Void!"
Cimoga fired a purple beam directly at Howlkor.
Thinking fast, Lightning grabbed a BakuCore with his mouth and gave it to Howlkor.
"Prismatic Bolt!" Howlkor shouted as he fired a powerful beam of electricity.
Both Darkus attacks collided with each other and created a smoke cloud.
When the smoke cleared, Lightning and Howlkor saw that Cimoga had vanished.
"Ruff?" Lightning asked in surprise.
"He's gone?" Howlkor questioned.
Just then, Cimoga slithered behind Howlkor at amazing speed.
"Cimoga, Clasp Cutter!" Ashley ordered.
Cimoga then wrapped his tail around Howlkor's middle head and sliced him up, sending him flying backwards.
"And that'sssss how a real warrior winsssss!" Cimoga bragged.
Ashley's Bakugan regrouped and looked at each other.
"So far, so good." Nillious said.
"We'll win this thing in no time!" Serpenteze said confidently.
"This is just the beginning, friends." Cyndeous reminded.
"We know that." Cimoga replied. "But we can ssssstill win thisssss."
"Don't be so sure!" Dan said with a smirk. "Ready, Wynton?"
"I sure am!" Wynton stated. "Time for Ventus Mirage!"
After Wynton gave Trox a BakuCore, the Ventus Bakugan created illusions of himself and his teammates.
Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga found themselves surrounded by the illusions.
"That's a lot of enemies." Barbetra said nervously.
"Don't panic, you guys!" Ashley called out. "Just attack them until you find the real ones!"
"Okay!" Nillious nodded.
Nillious tried to punch a nearby Hydorous, but it instantly vanished.
"What?!" Nillious asked in shock.
"Drago, Pyrus Tornado!" Dan ordered.
Drago blasted Nillious from behind and caused some intense damage.
"Uh oh!" Ashley said nervously. "Uh, Serpenteze, attack that one!"
Serpenteze swiped his tail at another illusion and hit nothing but air before he was kicked away by Pegatrix, who appeared right in front of the Ventus Bakugan.
"Enough of thisssss!" Cimoga shouted in anger. "Shower Of Swords!"
Cimoga swiped every illusion he could find until there were no more.
However, the Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan were gone.
"They vanished?!" Cyndeous asked in shock.
"Not exactly!" Drago shouted as he grabbed Cyndeous and Cimoga before tossing them into the air.
"Cyndeous! Cimoga!" Ashley shouted fearfully.
"Wing Cutter!" Lia ordered.
Pegatrix flew above Cyndeous and Cimoga before she slashed them with her wings, reducing their power and sending them crashing down to the field.
Trox and Howlkor appeared behind Nillious, Barbetra and Serpenteze.
"Sonic Uproar!" Wynton ordered.
"Thunder!" Howlkor shouted.
Both Trox and Howlkor fired their attacks and directly struck Nillious and Barbetra, while Serpenteze was completely missed.
"I'll get you for that!" Serpenteze shouted as he attacked Trox and Howlkor.
That was when Hydorous jumped in front of Serpenteze, much to the Leviathan Bakugan's surprise.
"Serpenteze, get back!" Ashley called out, but it was too late.
"Aquos Blast!" Shun ordered.
Hydorous fired a powerful stream of water and blasted Serpenteze away from him and his teammates.
"Okay, that one really hurt." Serpenteze groaned.
Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga backed up and panted heavily, while Ashley looked on in worridness.
"What am I supposed to do, now?" Ashley asked herself before panicking. "I can't tell what's gonna happen next! Everything I try to do just gets messed up! It's pointless! There's nothing I can do to win!"
Ashley clenched her hands and bent down as she was lost in her thoughts and had a worried look on her face.
"You can't just give up, now!" Dan shouted, snapping the blonde-haired girl out of her worried thoughts. "If you think you can't win, then it's already over!"
"Huh?" Ashley asked in confusion.
"Just because you're in a tight spot, doesn't mean you should just go ahead and forfeit!" Wynton stated.
"Right!" Lia agreed. "All you can just do is keep battling and hopefully turn the tables!"
"And the most important key to winning is making sure you have complete faith in your Bakugan!" Shun explained.
"Ruff!" Lightning barked with a nod.
"Have complete faith?" Ashley repeated softly, taking in this advice.
"They're right, Ashley!" Nillious told her. "You have to stay strong and believe in us!"
"We might be in a difficult position, but you can turn the tables!" Barbetra stated.
"You are our partner." Cyndeous said. "It is up to you to lead us to victory."
"We can take these guys down, for sure!" Serpenteze said confidently. "You should know that by now!"
"Jussssst tell usssss what to do and we'll be win thisssss thing!" Cimoga added.
Ashley stared at her Bakugan in surprise and shock.
She then made up her mind and smiled at all five of her partners.
"You got it, guys!" Ashley said, determined. "Let's keep battling and win!"
"Right!" Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga cheered.
Ashley ran quickly and managed to grab five BakuCores, each one with a different element.
"Everyone, take these!" Ashley ordered as she gave her Bakugan the Cores and powered them all up.
Nillious and the others charged at their opponents.
"Here they come!" Lia warned. "Pegatrix, Prismatic Blast!"
Pegatrix fired a beam of light at Nillious.
"Reflection!" Ashley ordered.
Nillious' left head ate the Prismatic Blast before the right head fired it back at Pegatrix and caused some great damage.
"Wow! I wasn't expecting that!" Wynton exclaimed.
"I kinda forget about that ability!" Dan admitted.
"And that's not all!" Ashley said with a smirk. "Serpenteze, Ventus Freeze!"
Serpenteze was surrounded by a green aura and started controlling Drago like a puppet.
"I hope you like this, Trox!" Serpenteze told the T-Rex Bakugan. "Drago, hit him with Twisting Inferno!"
Drago, unable to fight back against Serpenteze's control, blasted Trox with his signature Pyrus attack.
"Don't attack me, Drago!" Trox snapped with a glare.
"It's not my fault!" Drago protested and he threw some punches at Trox. "I'm not in control of my body!"
"Hydro Slash!" Cyndeous shouted as he swung his sword and made three blue energy-blade projectiles at Hydorous.
Hydorous dodged the first two blades, but wasn't so lucky with the third one and crashed near Shun.
"Hydorous!" Shun shouted in worridness.
"Now's out chance, team!" Ashley told her Bakugan. "Get Howlkor, now!"
Nillious, Barbetra and Serpenteze flew over to Howlkor, while Cyndeous and Cimoga circled around the Darkus Bakugan.
"Hold on!" Wynton gasped in realisation. "Have you been-?"
"Yep! I've been using the Divide and Conquer technique to win!" Ashley answered with a smirk. "Cyndeous! Cimoga! Liqui Darts and Shower Of Swords!"
Cyndeous and Cimoga damaged Howlkor with their attacks from both left and right.
The smoke cleared and Howlkor was still standing.
"You're mine!" Barbetra shouted as she grabbed Howlkor from above and lifted him into the air.
"Ruff!" Lightning exclaimed.
"I'm going in!" Serpenteze announced as he dived down towards Howlkor.
Howlkor saw the Ventus Bakugan and used another one of his abilities.
"Darkus Howl!" Howlkor yelled as he fired a powerful sonic howl at Serpenteze.
Serpenteze's eyes widened as he avoided the black hole, but was slightly touched by it and winced in pain.
"Stay strong, Serpenteze!" Ashley encouraged as she grabbed a Ventus BakuCore. "You have to beat him!"
Ashley threw the BakuCore and Serpenteze gained a bit more power.
"Crushing Grasp!" Ashley ordered.
Serpenteze wrapped his long tail around Howlkor and squeezed him tightly, lowing the Darkus Bakugan's power by the second.
"What's wrong, mutt?" Serpenteze asked smugly. "Am I giving ya too much pressure?"
"Drago, Howlkor needs help!" Dan told his partner.
"I'm on it, Dan!" Drago replied as he flew up to Serpenteze and Howlkor.
"Not on our watch, Dragonoid!" Nillious shouted. "Pact of Light!"
Nillious then teleported himself in front of Drago, catching the Pyrus Bakugan off guard.
"What-?!" Drago started before Nillious punched him away.
"You're all not the only ones who can team-up on the enemy!" Nillious told him and the other Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan.
"He'sssss right!' Cimoga agreed before leaping at Hydorous and Trox. "We've got thisssss in the bag now! Shadow Blades!"
Cimoga's blades become surrounded in dark energy and he slashed Trox and Hydorous with them, sending both of them flying.
Pegatrix tried flying towards Serpenteze and Howlkor, but was being held down by Barbetra and Cyndeous.
"Let go!" Pegatrix demanded.
"That's not happening!" Cyndeous replied before he turned to Barbetra. "You should help our ally finish his opponent, Barbetra!"
"Right!" Barbetra nodded as she let go of Pegatrix's wings and flew up to her Ventus teammate.
Serpenteze decided to throw Howlkor upwards, where Barbetra was waiting.
"He's all yours, Barbetra!" Serpenteze called out.
"Thank you, Serpenteze!" Barbetra replied.
The Pyrus Bakugan then smacked Howlkor down with her claws.
"Hey, guys! Let's use a combo attack!" Ashley told Serpenteze and Barbetra.
"Combe attack?" Barbetra repeated.
"Are you sure we can pull it off?" Serpenteze asked, uncertain.
"I don't think, I know!" Ashley said confidently. "Trust me on this!"
Serpenteze and Barbetra looked at each other and nodded.
"Go for it, partner!" Serpenteze stated.
"End this!" Barbetra added.
Ashley nodded in response and gave both of her Bakugan a BakuCore each.
"Now, Serpenteze, Spiral Tornado!" Ashley ordered.
Serpenteze fired two powerful streams of wind from his wings downwards.
"Barbetra, Pyruscorch!" Ashley called out.
Barbetra fired a ray of fire from her eyes and collided the attack with Serpenteze's Spiral Tornado.
The collision then created a huge beam of red and green that continued shooting down.
Howlkor had finally crashed on the solid ground and shook all three of his heads.
"Well, that was a really rough landing." Howlkor quipped with a groan before looking above. "Wait, what's that?"
Before he new it, Howlkor was struck by the combined beam that was made by Barbetra and Serpenteze, creating a huge smoke cloud and depleting the last of his B-Power.
A purple flash appeared from within the cloud and a Darkus Bakugan ball flew out of it and landed in front of Lightning.
Dan, Wynton, Lia, Shun and Lightning were shocked that Ashley actually managed to defeat one of their Bakugan first.
"I can't believe Ashley got the first win!" Ajit said in awe.
"That is quite impressive." Pharol complemented.
Barbetra and Serpenteze flew back down and joined the rest of their team.
"I can't believe we pulled that off!" Serpenteze exclaimed.
"Your plan worked after all, Ashley!" Barbetra said to her partner.
"It sure did!" Ashley said with a sweet smile. "Now we've only got four more to beat!"
"Then let'sssss ssssstop wasssssting time and get it over with!" Cimoga stated while putting his blades in fighting position.
Ashley nodded before she glared determinedly.
"Okay, let's hit them with all we've got!" Ashley said as she managed to grab five BakuCores from each element and tossed them all at her Bakugan.
Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga accepted the BakuCores and glared at Drago, Trox, Pegatrix and Hydorous, who backed up a little bit.
Then, Ashley's Bakugan unleashed their attacks.
"Haos Assault!"
"Toxic Barb!"
"Liqui Darts!"
"Air Slicers!"
"Voice Void!"
Every single attack made their way towards their targets.
"Drago, quick! Guard Sphere!" Dan called out.
"Right!" Drago said before he put up an orb of fiery energy and protected himself and his teammates from all five attacks.
When the Guard Sphere went down, Nillious and Barbetra flew right behind the Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan.
"Surprise!" Nillious shouted. "Prismatic Punch!"
Both of Nillious' fists were engulfed by shiny energy before he punched Dragon and Trox hard.
"Drago!" Dan exclaimed.
"Trox!" Wynton said worriedly.
"Searing Claws!" Barbetra yelled.
Both of her claws generated blazing hot fire and she slashed Pegatrix and Hydorous with them.
"Pegatrix!" Lia gasped.
"Hydorous!" Shun said in concern.
Drago and the rest of his teammates only had 25 B Power left.
"One more hit and it'sssss all over!" Cimoga said smugly.
"We're gonna win!" Serpenteze stated.
"Indeed, my friend!" Barbetra agreed.
"We await your orders, Ashley!" Cyndeous said to his partner.
"The victory is all ours!" Nillious added.
"Okay!" Ashley nodded. "Let's beat them and win this battle!"
"Don't think you've yet, Ashley!" Lia said with a smirk.
"Huh?" Ashley asked in confusion.
Suddenly, she noticed four BakuCores glowing brightly and formed their respective Attribute symbols on them.
"Hey, what's up with those BakuCores?" Serpenteze asked.
"They look different!" Nillious said in awe.
Dan, Wynton, Lia and Shun knelt down and grabbed a BakuCore each.
"I guess you forget what happens when a Bakugan's on the verge of defeat." Wynton admitted.
Ashley was still confused, but then she remembered something.
"Hold on. Those are… GearCores!" Ashley exclaimed in realisation. "That means they're-!"
"That's right!" Dan stated, cutting the Pail-Blonde girl off. "It's time for Baku Gear!"
Dan and the others gave their Bakugan their GearCores each and they all shot out their respective Attribute symbols.
The symbols then broke into a few pieces and started attaching themselves onto the Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan.
When all the pieces were attached, the Bakugan each now had Baku Gear ready for use. Drago had an enormous cannon on his back, Trox had two spiral blasters on his legs, Pegatrix had three small gunners with crystals inside, two were on her side and the third was on her back, and Hydorous had a set of wings that had sharp-looking crystals on them.
"Wow!" Nillious gasped in astonishment.
"Nobody told me we could get thossssse in battlesssss!" Cimoga exclaimed.
"That's incredible!" Cyndeous said quietly.
"Let's get 'em, guys!" Dan told his friends.
"Yeah!" Wynton, Lia and Shun agreed.
Drago, Trox, Pegatrix and Hydorous then used their Baku Gear attacks.
"Element Cannon!"
"Torsion Blades!"
"Crystal Striker!"
"Blitz Storm!"
As the blasts from all four sets of Baku Gear were fired at Ashley's Bakugan, Cyndeous turned his head to Nillious and acted quickly.
"Nillious, move!" Cyndeous shouted as he shoved the Haos Bakugan away.
Nillious crashed through the field and looked at his teammates in shock.
"No!" Nillious yelled.
That was when Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga got struck by all four attacks and all of their B power was quickly reduced to 0.
All four of them returned to ball form and landed at Ashley's feet.
"Guys!" Ashley exclaimed with her eyes widened.
Nillious managed to get back on his feet and looked down at the others silently.
"They… saved us." Nillious whispered in shock
The Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan's Baku Gear vanished into a mass of particles.
"That was awesome!" Ajit remarked.
"Ruff ruff!" Lightning cheered.
"Oh yeah!" Wynton said in victory. "That's four down and one to go!"
"Do you still want to keep battling, Ashley?" Shun asked.
"Just because your outnumbered, doesn't mean you still can't win!" Lia said with a smile.
Ashley didn't respond and picked up her defeated Bakugan before placing them in her pockets.
Then she looked at Nillious with a look of determination.
"Nillious, don't worry." Ashley told her Haos Bakugan. "You and I can still beat them and win this battle!"
"Are you sure, Ashley?" Nillious asked, unsure.
"I'm totally sure!" Ashley replied.
Nillious looked at his opponents before looking back at Ashley.
"Alright, then!" Nillious stated. "We'll battle until the end!"
Ashley smiled in response.
"That's good to hear!" Ashley said joyfully before glaring. "Now, let's take them from behind!"
Nillious then spread his wings out and flew towards Drago and his other three opponents.
"Heads up, you guys!" Ajit warned.
"Ruff, ruff ruff!" Lightning barked.
Dragon prepared for Nillious' attack, but…
"Pact Of Light!" Ashley ordered.
Nillious teleported away just before he could attack Drago or any of the Awesome Brawlers' Bakugan.
"Huh? Where'd he go?" Dan asked in surprise.
"No clue." Shun said while searching for where Nillious might appear.
Just then, Nillious showed up from behind Trox.
"Trox, he's right behind you!" Wynton called out.
"Now, Nillious!" Ashley told the Haos Bakugan as she tossed a BakuCore at him. "Prismatic Punch!"
Nillious then nailed Trox in the head with his attack, pummelling him into the ground.
Trox struggled to get his head out of the earth.
"He's as good as stuck, now!" Nillious said.
"Now's out chance!" Dan told everyone. "Drago, Pyrus Tornado!"
Drago launched Pyrus Tornado straight at Nillious.
"Guess again!" Ashley said with a smirk. "Reflection!"
Nillious turned his right head around and absorbed the Pyrus attack before his left head fired it back at Drago.
"Uh oh!" Drago said while panicking as he quickly flew up and avoided his own attack.
"We missed him!" Nillious growled in annoyance.
Suddenly, Trox get his head unstuck and tackled Nillious from behind.
"Nillious!" Ashley exclaimed in fear.
"Time to end this!" Lia stated. "Pegatrix, Serrated Wings!"
"Hydorous, Hydro Burst!" Shun ordered.
"Drago, Flame Wave!" Dan ordered.
Drago, Pegatrix and Hydorous struck Nillious with their attacks and caused a massive explosion to appear.
"No!" Ashley cried with tears forming in her eyes.
Nillious groaned in pain as he saw that his B Power was down to 10.
"Are you ready to give up, now?" Drago questioned.
"It's best if you just quit than get more injuries." Trox admitted.
"Never!" Nillious shouted as she stood strong. "This is our very first battle alongside my human partner. We're not just doing this for me, we're doing it for Ashley! We will not lose! We're going to win this battle!"
Ashley stared at Nillious with widened eyes. She had no idea that Nillious wanted to win this for her so badly.
"…Nillious…" Ashley said softly.
Suddenly, Ashley saw a nearby Haos BakuCore glow brightly.
When the glowing stopped, the BakuCore changed into a GearCore.
"No way!" Ashley gasped in shock.
She then looked at Nillious and how weak his was starting to get before making her decision and bending down.
"Have it your way!" Wynton said with a victorious smile.
"Time for us to finish this battle!" Dan announced.
"I don't think so!" Ashley stated, gaining the Awesome Brawlers' attention. "We've still got an ace up our sleeve!"
Dan, Wynton, Lia, Shun, Lightning and Ajit saw a Gear Core in Ashley's hand, much to their surprise.
"No way!" Lia exclaimed.
"Ruff?!" Lightning questioned.
"Look at that!" Ajit told his friends.
"Isn't that a-?!" Wynton started to ask.
"A Baku GearCore!" Shun finished with widened eyes.
"Nillious, here!" Ashley called out as she tossed the GearCore at her Haos Bakugan.
Nillious accepted the GearCore and shot out a huge Haos attribute symbol from himself.
The symbol broke into a few pieces that were collected into Nillious's hands and started forging his Baku Gear.
The pieces then stopped forming and Nillious was now wielding two huge blades that had white fire coming out of them.
"Finish them off, partner!" Ashley ordered.
"Yes!" Nillious replied before charging forward. "Shining Sabers!"
Nillious slashed Drago, Trox, Pegatrix and Hydorous with his swords multiple times before landing behind them.
The four Bakugan simply stood their before they were all consumed by an explosion and lost all of their B power.
The Awesome Brawlers watched in astonishment as their remaining Bakugan rolled down to their feet.
Nillious' Baku Gear disappeared as he flew next to Ashley.
"Did we… just win?" Ashley asked, trying to process what just happened.
"We sure did!" Nillious said in triumph.
Ashley then gasped in happiness before dancing around happily.
"Alright!" Ashley cheered. "We won our first battle! We did it! We did it! We did it! Way to go, Nillious! Your Baku Gear was incredible! Thanks so much!"
"Don't mention it." Nillious said, slightly embarrassed.
"What are you two talking about?" Cimoga asked as he and the rest of Ashley's Bakugan appeared on the Pale-Blonde girl's shoulders and were fully healed.
"What happened?" Barbetra questioned.
"I kinda feel like I got hit by a boulder." Serpenteze said with a groan.
"Ashley and Nillious managed to beat Dan and the others and won the whole battle." Ajit explained as he and the other Awesome Brawlers walked up to them. "You're welcome."
"We won?!" Serpenteze asked in surprise.
"I can't believe you two won thisssss whole thing without me!" Cimoga said to Ashley and Nillious with a glare.
"Well, the important thing is that we won in our first Bakugan Battle as a team." Barbetra said in a calm way.
"Indeed." Cyndeous agreed.
"Congrats on your first win, Ashley." Dan said kindly.
"You've sure got some skill." Wynton told Ashley.
"Ruff." Lightning nodded in agreement.
"Keep it up, and we'll become best friends in Bakugan Brawling, too!" Lia said in excitement.
"Sure thing." Ashley replied.
"So, do you wanna come to our place and celebrate?" Shun asked with a smile.
"Sorry, but my parents are probably worried sick about me right now." Ashley said with a hand behind her head. "So I've gotta go."
"Aw man." Dan signed in complaint.
"I guess your folks are pretty worried by now." Wynton admitted.
"You should get going." Ajit said.
"Right." Ashley nodded. "Let's go now, Nillious."
"Sure." Nillious said before he returned to ball form and landed in Ashley's hand.
"I hope we'll be able to see again, one day." Drago said.
"I'm sure we will, Drago." Ashley assured.
"And hopefully, we'll have another great brawl." Nillious added.
"Ha! I'm looking forward to it!" Drago said confidently.
"Okay, I'll see you all later!" Ashley said as she ran out of Studio D.
"Bye, Ashley/Ruff ruff!" The Awesome Brawlers shouted as they all waved goodbye.
As Ashley continued running, she wondered what kind of amazing battles and adventures she'll have now she's got Nillious, Barbetra, Cyndeous, Serpenteze and Cimoga in her life.
