I know it's definitely been some time since my last story. To be honest, I was having a bit trying to come up with something to write about. I mean I have ideas but it's sometimes hard for me to figure out how to write them which ultimately ends up with me abandoning them. To be honest I had all sorts of ideas for this one which I will explain at the end so I decided to keep this one short. Anyway, this is just a one-shot but if you want to make this into a story then you're more than welcome to. I hope you enjoy reading it.

It was Extermination Day in Hell, King Lucifer Magne was currently waiting it out with his wife Lilith and eight-year-old daughter Charlotte, Charlie for short. He really hated it but his father demanded that the overpopulation in hell be dealt with. Lucifer couldn't help but blame his father for making such high standards with getting into Heaven but then again he had his suspicions that the other archangels who were in charge of who got into Heaven had a hand in this. He just let out a sigh as he noticed his daughter looking out the window to see the massacre that was happening. "Charlie move away from the window, Darling." He said as she moved away from it and turned towards him.

"Daddy, why does Extermination Day exist?"She asked causing her father to let out a sigh.

He really didn't want to explain it to her but he knew he had to. With a hand place on his shoulder by his wife who gave him a nod, he began to explain. "It happens because Hell is always overpopulation. God has it where humans have to live up to certain expectations in order to get to Heaven but he doesn't seem to realize that they are set too high, that they can be influenced very easily, losing their way, and when they arrive here they just lose all hope altogether embracing Hell in the process. It's very hard for them to live a certain way as well since they would end up in Hell if they strayed from that path. Most of the souls here really don't have any huge sins."

"I wish there was another way to handle the overpopulation then Extermination Day." Charlie responded as her dad gave out another sigh.

"There actually was another way a long time ago." Lucifer replied as Charlie's eyes lit up.

"There was?! What was it?!" She shouted out as she started jumping up and down with joy knowing that there was another way besides Extermination Day to deal with the overpopulation causing her mother to let out a small laugh and her father as well.

"Well, it's no longer around anymore or in Hell. In fact, I don't know where it is, to be honest." Lucifer answered.

"What was it?" Charlie asked her father as he then answered her question.

"It was a goblet forged by the strongest and rarest metal in Hell and made with my power. It was called the Hellfire Goblet and it was made to deal with the overpopulation since I didn't want the angels down in Hell to deal with it."

"How did it work?" Charlie then asked.

"Well, I would light it and then put the names of some of the dangerous sinners in Hell. It would eventually go out and when it did it would erase the sinners from existence." He responded. "It didn't cause the extreme damages that the angels would cause. In fact, it was quick and swift. It did the job very well."

"When did it go missing?"

"About a year after it was made, I went to go light it and throw in a few more names but when I arrived at the room it was in it wasn't there. Someone stole it." Lucifer answered seeing the shocked look on his daughter's face and quickly responded in an attempt to reassure her. "I did take precautions in case it was stolen like making sure it couldn't be used against us and the other royals as well as enchanting it to come to me. The first thing I did was try to summon it but it wouldn't come so it didn't take me long to realize it was in Hell. I made sure to take into account all sorts of details of everything that happens in Hell when making it that I failed to take into account that someone could take it out of Hell. It was my own mistake which I take responsibility for. I could have made another one but I really didn't want to take another chance just in case something similar or worst happened to it."

"Do you know who took it?" Charlie then asked.

"No I don't but I have my suspicions," Lucifer said as he glared out the window at the angels wreaking havoc causing Charlie to notice it and make the connection.

"If it was the angels who took it why didn't you demand it back from them?" She immediately asked.

"Because I have no proof Charlie." Lucifer responded. "I can't just go accuse them of something without any proof and even if I did have it there is always the chance they would accuse me of making it. Besides seeing how things are moving in the human world nowadays I have a good feeling the goblet wouldn't be used as much."

"What do you mean?"

"Well I originally made it to get rid of the dangerous sinners but Hell keeps getting filled with people who are sinners to the eyes of Heaven." Lucifer answered as he was certain it was certain angels targeting these souls. "When they arrive in Hell they come to see that it's a lot more accepting to who they are than when they were alive and assume Heaven didn't want them because of who they were and how they lived. To punish them for overpopulating Hell wouldn't be fair would it?"

"No, it wouldn't," Charlie answered as she shook her head agreeing with her father as she then asked. "Do you think there will be a day when Extermination Day won't be needed?"

Lucifer just let out a sigh. "To be honest sweetheart, I don't think such a day will come." He said causing Charlie to frown which he quickly noticed. "However you never know what the future holds. Maybe one day a way will be found where Extermination Day will no longer be needed. Who knows you might just be the person to do it." He said to her causing her to smile.

"That's what I'll do! I'll come up with a way to help with the overpopulation of our kingdom so we no longer need Extermination Day!" Charlie shouted out as the sirens signaling the end of Extermination Day and looked out the window to see the angels flying back up to Heaven with a determined look on her face.

Okay to start with I was planning on making this longer where it included a baby Harry being left out on the Dursley's doorstep on an early November first only to be discovered by a loser teenager who had planned on sacrificing his virgin sister for a Satanic ritual so he and his loser friends on Halloween could become rich and famous only to find out his sister lost her virginity. From there he would be walking around the night trying to figure how to salvage his plan only to come across Harry on the Dursley's doorstep giving him the idea to use Harry as the sacrifice since a baby is just an innocent soul using the excuse that it had to still be Halloween somewhere in the world. From there Lucifer would show up to stop the ritual since it makes him sick that humans would sacrifice a baby in his name and kill the idiot along with his friends. After that Lucifer would stumble across the Horcrux in Harry's scar and figure out immediately what was going on since he keeps track of certain events on Earth realizing that Harry was being used for Dumbledore's Greater Good. He would then put an end to the plans Dumbledore made by removing the Horcrux from Harry and summoning the rest since he had one piece and then destroy them. After that, he would call his wife letting her know what was going on and asking her if she was up to being a mother to Harry since I wanted it to show that he values Lilith's opinion which she would be.

From there it would shift to the Tri-Wizard Tournament where Harry would be summoned to Hogwarts with Charlie who was visiting them. It would end with Lucifer and Lilith showing up shortly after seeing that the Hellfire Goblet was being used for the tournament since the goblet had modifications made to it by wizards over time. Lucifer would then release the champions from the Goblet since he made it originally and had all sorts of precautions made, he would then destroy it for being too dangerous immediately leaving afterward with his family making sure to let Dumbledore that he took care of all the Horcruxes made and he could forget all the plans he made for Harry since he didn't want his son involved with them. As to why Harry was summoned since it the royals were supposed to be immune to it was because he had a soul which the goblet specifically targets.

As for why I didn't add this was because I couldn't find the right words to use and whatever I did write just didn't work for me but I still wanted to write this so I just decided to do the opening since I thought it was good enough.
