It had taken a long and grueling month, but finally, Jin Sakai could firmly say that all of Tsushima Island had been freed from the Mongol threat, the few Mongolian soldiers and Straw Hats left having either left the island or fallen to his blade.

So why was it that instead of awakening to the sound of birdsong in his base of operations in Otsuna, he was instead awakened to the sound of howls straight out of the bowels of hell?

Thankfully he has his blades on him, but judging by the boar demons currently surrounding him, he likely wasn't going to be making it out of this alive.

All he could do now was ready himself for what was assuredly his last battle, and pray to the Kami that Tsushima would not suffer once he was gone.

Post Spare Ending Jin ends up waking up on Terca Lumires a month before the start of Vesperia right outside of Halure.
