A/N alright so this story will pick where we left off, Bella fighting James and killing him vividly.

Now I'm back because I couldn't sleep any later with all these ideas in my head mind you it's only 7:36am in South Africa, Cape Town at the minute so I kinda blame y'all

Anyways this is the first chapter I hope you enjoy it.

Every moment I spend with you is a fresh beginning

Bella hears a whine every Cullen present snaps their eyes to the tree line where large russet colored wolf stands drenched in the rain. A smile covers Bella's face as she untangles herself away from her mate.

" Jake" she breathes out stepping out of the rubble around her she makes her way over to the wolf , who snarled at the vampires but whines once more when Bella comes into view.

She slows herself to make sure she's not seen as a threat, she hears Rosalie's murmurs of disapproval—But she holds her hand up halting any further protests.

She kneels before her brother, he was large, and muscled. She sees how thick it stands now that his furs all wet sticking to his body much like her own hair.

She cups his wolffish face between her palm, she connects her forehead to his with a soft, relieved smile.

"Hey buddy, I thought I told you to run?" She receives a whine and a nudge as if to say 'I couldn't leave you'

She chuckles "yeah ... I'm glad you're safe Jake, I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't made it through" she whispers , and places a kiss to his furry head.

She needs to bring him home. She needs to explain all of this to him —sure there was the legends but those legends were one sided plus the young native didn't believe them at all until now.

She already knows the stigma attached to vampires in general , she knows Sam acts like the Cullens are the scourge of the universe—maybe it's selfish but she doesn't want her brother to choose between pack and family, because that's what they were the two of them were family—blood brother and sister.

She tells Rose to grab the blanket in the trunk after a few grunts of wet dog and won't be getting into the car again unless it's detailed she hands it over, using her vampire speed she blurs which makes Jake tense, she feels the tension in his shoulders and rushes to reassure him.

"Hey .. nothings going to happen .. okay—you're safe I promise." She doesn't wait for a response instead she grabs the blanket.

"I need you to turn back for me , imagine your human form , imagine walking on your two feet—remember what ties you to your humanity—your dad , Quil, Embry and me" she says soothingly, coaxing the wolf to relax, he seems reluctant at first being watched by so many pairs of golden eyes but then looks away from them and concentrated on Bella's usual brown eyes—he remembers how they found their own cave to get away from everyone else—he remembers the night Bella cried on his shoulder for hours wishing she could be a normal girl, maybe then her mother would love her—he remembers promising that no matter what , he'd always be there for her and in that dark cave lit up by the moonlight he remembers cutting his palm open with a sharp stone telling her to do the same. They shook hands letting their blood mix.

"This means we'll be brother and sister by blood—that I'll always be by your side no matter what Bella"

As the memory plays before him he feels his body shift, it's not as painful as it was before instead it feels safe, warm and he feels Bella close to him. After a few seconds of ringing in his ears he hears Bella tell him he did a good job and covers his naked form with a blanket.

He feels faint, like he's been running on fumes and all he wants to do now is fall asleep:

"Bells m'tired" he says groggily , she leads him back to her car putting him in the back seat. With a kiss to his forehead promising they'll be home soon. And that all he feels before he drifts off to nothingness.

Bella gazes at her tired brother , his long hair wet matted to his face , she's happy that some of the bruises are already healing which means in a couple of hours they should be gone.

She closes the door with a sigh and turns back to face the Cullens who watched the entire scene. But she only looks at the one Cullen/Hale that means everything to her. She wants nothing more than to curl up with her lover and sleep away the days event. Maybe a warm bath to soak her tired muscles but she knows it's not possible she needs to deal with Jacob and explain what she had done to him.

She hopes he'll understand that it was a necessary move to keep him safe. Biting her bottom lip she approaches Rosalie who scrunches her nose up in distaste at Bella's new fragrance.

"You smell like wet dog" she deadpans a small laugh bubbles in Bella's throat at the insult . She shrugs her shoulders in response.

"Yeah, listen -"

Rosalie cuts her off with a tight smile "I know , you have to make sure he's okay.." she says

Bella sees the smile, she sees how strained it is and then she remembers their parting words or her parting words specifically. She knows she meant it, and she's sure Rosalie knows that she meant it as well , but how could she apologize for something she meant even if it was said in the heat of the moment.

"Yeah" scuffing her foot on the muddied gravel thats become slippery because of the rain.

"Yeah ... deal with him and then .. then we'll talk okay?" Bella nods in acceptance knowing it's the best she's going to get from the vampire for now, she leans closer and pecks Rosalie's cheek.

"I love you" she says before turning back to her car where her brother is sleeping fitfully, she envies his ignorance. She glances in the rear view mirror to the Cullens who all got into their own cars preparing to leave.

Hours later Bella sits in the dining room, she tore in into her personal stash in whiskey. Each glass burned but after three glasses she barely felt anything anymore just a warm feeling coiling in her gut.

Her eyes trails down to her hands, relief is what she feels —her hands were the ones that put those cracks into James neck, her hands tore him limb from limb —with each tear came a bout of relief every scream soothed her own pain she wonders whether it was okay to not feel any guilt for killing him.

She might not feel guilt but she can't help but feel the weight that she's taken a life for the first time using her magic—she used her own power to remove a cancer from her life and so yeah the weight is there but more than that she feels freedom.

Swirling the brown liquid in the glass she glances up to the stairs, she hears the covers rustle, feet padding on the wooden flooring.

"I guess it's time for explanations then" she whispers to the empty room.. the time reads 8pm. A heavy sigh leaves her lips as she swallows the last bit of whiskey in her glass.

"Never thought I'd see you drinking on a school night" says a familiar voice from the stairs.

She doesn't need to look to know it's Jacob. A chuckle escapes her lips.

"Yeah, I guess when you kill someone all the rules just fly out of the window" She said with a small shrug, reaching for the bottle of whiskey she poured another glass.

"Bella you-"

She waved off his concern, she stared into the glass , watching the small ripples.

"I know ... I did what was necessary besides I was always going to kill him, he was after the smell of my blood —but I won't be making a habit of it I mean not all vampires are bad" she chuckled at the scoff from Jacob.

"I mean it Jacob I understand they're your natural enemy, you might not know or understand things yet but your shifter gene reacts to the amount of vampires in a specific area, a few of your people has already shifted .. one of them being Sam fucking dick" she says the last part with some venom, and sees the realization on his face.

"So he wasn't in a gang?" He asked furrowing his brows.

"Well to be honest does he kinda does fit the bill for a gang leader" she joked

"But no Sam isn't a gang leader, I suppose he'll be your alpha if you choose to submit to him and join the pack"

Jacob still a bit confused but nods , he remembers almost everything from his transformation. He remembers voices trying to break through his mind but the only thing he could concentrate on was Bella. So he discarded those voices and listened to her— even against his better judgement he ran.

"Why didn't you let me stay and fight with you?" He asks, his face takes on a puppy dog look and Bella cant help but liken it to a image of a kicked puppy.

She drains her glass of the brown liquid again before leaning back on the couch.

"Would you like me to be brutally honest or give ease your ego?" Her voice changes a bit, she knows its better be honest with Jacob but she'd rather give him a choice since she already took his choice away —besides he never did like beating around the bush always said 'only indecisive people beats around the bush bells'

Jacobs gulps silently and nods, he sits in the recliner seat in the room , he stares at the bottle of whisky that's nearly empty. He wonders just how long Bella's been drinking— Had it been ever since she put him in bed giving him some of her fathers clothes?

"Yeah lay it on me" he said resolutely.

"You were in my way" she says succinctly Before Jacob can protest she lifts her hand tiredly.

"I forced your gene to activate— I'm sure it wouldn't have happened so soon but I needed you to get away so I could concentrate on removing James and that was the only way I knew how.

You're my brother, have been since we were ten years old Jake ... I would never leave you but I also knew that James would use you against me just like he did when he lured me to that warehouse in the first place"

His eyes burn with the memory of Bella's voice over the phone , how he begged her not to come. He fights them , keeping it at bay before he asks

"what do you mean you forced it?" He pushes— he tried to understand, well he does understand why Bella basically ordered him to run—he's a baby wolf, doesn't really know how to be a wolf —he thought that all those tribal legends his dad would talk about was just a myth—something to scare naughty children with but now he knows different —now he knows he turned into that myth but his sister pushed or forced it on him.

For some reason he's not as angry as he could be because he understands—he knows Bella wouldn't have done it if there was another option.

"Wait before you answer that how did you even move that fast? I saw you zipping across that warehouse just as fast as that vampire?"

Picking up the bottle, she takes another swig. " oh yeah I guess that's actually the first thing I was supposed to tell you" she shrugs innocently .

"I'm kinda an enchantress surprise! "

A/N alright first chapter I honestly didn't think I'd even be writing a sequel so soon.

when I started writing it it was about seven but then I had stuff to do and I kinda just lost time
