Unseen predictions Tdelicot Summary: Just after Phineas returns to his aunt and Uncle. Special Agent Gibbs is called back to work after his suspension. Even his time at NICS is limited after being away. Notes: It's the continuation of the season 18th of Unseen improvements
Chapter 1
Leroy Jethro Gibbs once again was feeling lonely in his own house. Now that Phineas was back with his aunt and uncle knowing that they were going to be alright.
It was that night with the guardian after giving the sample bone marrow to save a young boy. Special Agent Gibbs had gathered up all of Lucy's things into a bag, along with the dog food, bowl, and chewies.
Sitting on his couch having dropped off Lucy. He had felt alone even though there was a message on his email that his friend reporter will be coming back from an assignment. He had been looking at the articles she had given to him before leaving for her assignment in Florida.
Looking at his IPAD given to him by Ducky and Kasie. He was going to use it after setting up his email on it to call Marcie to check on where she might be. She was going to be picking up their dinner at his favorite Chinese restaurant.
She had been waiting at the counter when her phone was buzzing with an email arriving. She was amazed that it was Leroy Jethro Gibbs. She was smiling too much when he had asked her about the dinner.
Dear Jethro,
Waiting for the food to be ready. Will be there shortly. I hope all is well with you? I have missed
you a great deal. I do hope that you're not too lonely with Phineas going back home?" she had sent off the email message to arrive on his IPAD.
Gibbs was reading the message with a smile back. However, he was going to answer back after already telling Phineas that he was lonely.
"I am very lonely Marcie. I can't stand it any further. Even though Phineas had asked me a number of questions that I told him it was none of his business. See ya soon, Jethro.
He had sent it off to her this time sitting down. However, there was another phone call coming in this time on his cell phone. It had shown to be Director Leon Vance.
"Leon, what's going on to be surprised?" he had asked with Vance sitting at his favorite diner having diner before heading back to NCIS.
"I wanted to let you know that SECNAV and others have decided to reinstate you as an agent again as team leader. I do know that I am thrilled about this as with your team. However I must warn you, Gibbs you're going to need to be careful with the cases you're going to be working on. Until they feel that your reputation will be solid enough." Vance commented sipping his black coffee while waiting for his order.
"I understand Leon. When do I start to come back to work?" Gibbs had to ask the big question.
"One week to put all of your affairs into order. No doubt you're going to be needing someone to watch Lucy while you're away for the long hours. Plus I need you to speak with Doctor Grace Confalone for a therapy session before she is able to sign off with the paperwork." Vance ordered with his tone that Gibbs had known really well over the years.
"I understand about my affairs, Leon. Lucy is now with Phineas since I felt that she had bonded well with the boy. It was getting to the point that Lucy needed more from someone else than myself? I will be sure to contact Doctor Grace to set a session with her in the office or she can always come here?" he said cryptically with his demeanor.
"See that you do Gibbs. Welcome back!" he said with ending the phone call with his Rib-eye steak arriving finally delivered by Elle working the night shift this time.
Twenty minutes later Leroy Jethro Gibbs heard a car pull up behind his jeep in the driveway to be Marcie bearing food bags as he came outside to help her with a smirk on his face helping to bring one of three bags.
She had walked into the house devoid of Lucy. She moved towards the table dropping them off before she is caught by him into an embrace that had surprised her completely...
