Chapter 1

After coming home from a long walk, Nadja was extremely tired, because of this she decided to quickly take a shower, and watch some T.V on Netflix.

Nadja sat down, and grabbed the remote from the table with a sigh. Suddenly there were sounds of pots clanging, and pans banging coming from the kitchen.

Nadja jumped up, and ran into the kitchen shaking her head in disbelief when everything looked absolutely untouched.

In a terrified panic Nadja ran out of the house, and frantically called her mom.

Nadja's mom sighed exasperatedly when she picked up the phone. (She thought that she'd had a real emergency.)

With a roll of her eyes Mrs. Akula Grant told her 14 year old daughter that she'd be coming home at 9:59. Instead of staying home alone she went to her friend's house just to be safe.

Hyperventilating she told her friends everything that just had happened at her place.

Sam and Sophia smiled, and told her that it'll be a-okay, and that they'd help her figure out where those weird sounds were coming from.

It was getting late, and after being calmed down with a glass of chocolate milk with Nadja's friends, she decided to go home.

When Nadja got home the door was already slightly ajar, she was terrified to go into her own house. A feeling you'd never think you'd experience.

Home was a place of comfort, a place you were supposed to feel your safest in. Being scared of the place you grew up in was very unsettling.

Deciding to call her mom, she said that she's inside cooking dinner. Nadja nodded, and started to wash up for super time.

After dinner she felt much, much better.

Nadja put your plate in the sink, and hurried up to her room. She grabbed her phone off the nightstand, and quickly unlocked it, then checked it for notifications.

She then had the brilliant idea to call her friends. Sam and Sophia picked up immediately, and were happy to inform her of their ideas for their science project.

The next day Nadja woke up, and realized with much panic that her alarm didn't go off, and you were late for school! Like REALLY LATE for SCHOOL! Her mom was going to KILL her!

She ran to get up, hopped in the shower, made breakfast, and went to school.

In Nadja's imminent rush she bumped into someone, quickly you said sorry, but he was gone in a near flash.

Shaking her head softly with dismay she started to mutter to herself, her voice laced with barely hidden disdain, "That was SO weird!"

Nadja picked up her stuff, and went to have lunch with her amazing friends.
