Color Fighting...an ancient fighting style that revolves around the manipulation of aura. There are at least five ways to classify them: Item, Animal, Elemental, Physical and Mystery Class. There are over many different styles still being discovered up to this day. However, a new chapter is going to be filled in.

"Boss...you sure you wanna do this?" DaDan said in a disguise. "I know we came here but...trying to join these guys?"

"I understand you're nervous, but at this point, we don't have many options." Techno answered. "Perhaps if we're careful and or lucky, we may be able to gain information on the heroes, including their weaknesses."

"Just be careful...I hear the newbies joining this year are a couple of real strange ones." Boba Fett said.

"Having worked with Entrapta for a while, I think we can handle strange." Techno assured.

Techno headed into a room where at least six others sat around.

"Greetings one and all...I am…" he said.

"Hey...you're the guy from TV. That big time loser who got his ass handed to him by the Dimensional Heroes." said one guy with sharp teeth.

"Ah...no. I believe you have me confused for someone else, mister…?" Techno trailed off.

"Rush." he said.

"I see. Well, Rush, while I may look like this loser, in truth, I'm actually… a clone." Techno said. "You know how crazy those mad scientist types are, they always have the craziest ideas. 'Hey, I'll make a clone of myself and a soul transfer machine, so if I ever die, I can just pop into the clone.' Rather crazy, that idea."

"You really think I'm stupid enough to fall for that?" Rush said.

"Now now. He may be telling the truth." a young woman said. "We don't know him personally, so it may be the truth for all we know."

"Yes. For now, the scales are in balance between the good and evil in this room. Do not tip them." said a man holding a scale.

"Yes, for now we should try to get along. We are here to improve our skills after all." one weak looking guy said.

"Ugh...seriously? That's why you came? I came to fight." Rush said.

"Fighting...such an arcane practice." said another man as he wrote on some sheets of paper.

"Speak for yourself." a young man in a tracksuit said. "I can't believe that Ishihara kid is an Olympic champion and his style isn't based on sports. Talk about wasted potential."

Among these new fighters and Techno's group, Ender, the Enderman was watching them all.

"Only seven newbies." he said. "And some of them seem hostile. It's not gonna be easy to make friends here… but I'm gonna try anyway!"

With that, Ender teleported into the room, starting a few of the entrants.

"Hi everybody!" He greeted happily.

"Shut your damn mouth, you bastard!" Rush said, socking him right in the face.

Ender wobbled in place for a moment, Endermites circling his head before he shook them away and smiled again. "Nice to meet you too, Rush."

"Uh...Ender...you aren't supposed to be here." a voice said they turned to see Mist standing there. "Uh...hello. My name is Mist and I will be interviewing you all today."

"Oh, sorry Master Mist. I'm technically part of the new recruits, aren't I?" Ender asked.

"Not really. You came before them." Mist said.

"Oh, I get it. Heh. Guess I got excited." Ender said, bowing in respect to the seven. "Terribly sorry about that, folks. I just get excited with anything involving Color Fighting. I'll just get out of your way. Good luck!" Ender waved before he teleported out of the room.

"How curious… an Enderman that is a Color Fighter." the weak guy said.

"Who cares what he is. He's an idiot." Rush said.

"That is true. Species matters very little." the man with the scales said.

"Can we please get off him? Anyway...I need to ask you all individually...please enter the room on the other side." Mist said.

First Interview…

Mist sat there with the man with the scales.

"Please state your name." Mist said.

"I am Bala." he said. "User of the Scale Style."

"And why do you want to train here?" Mist asked.

"To bring balance to these many worlds." Bala said.

Second Interview…

Mist then sat there with the weak looking guy.

"Please state your name." Mist said.

"Uh...it's Ri. User of the Feather Style." he said.

"And why do you want to train here?" she asked.

"To...get better." he said.

Third Interview…

Mist then sat with Rush.

"Your name and your style." Mist asked.

"Rush. User of the Savage Style." he said.

"Why do you want to train here?" she asked.

"Heh...easy...I wanna beat up the High Masters and the Grand Master." Rush said. "In fact, I'll kick the ass of every single Color Fighter here."

Fourth Interview…

She soon sat with the man in the tracksuit.

"Name and style please." Mist said.

"Kazutora Minami. Second-year student at Ginhana High, and practitioner of the Sports Style." he said with a bow.

"I see… so you go to the same school he does?" Mist asked.

"Yes, but we're not in the same class. My class is 2-3." Kazutora said.

"And why have you come to the Color Fighting temple, Kazutora?" Mist asked.

"I think it's pretty obvious. To improve my athletic ability. And ultimately surpass...him." Kazutora said. "To be honest, I was kind of disappointed when I heard that his style isn't sports-based."

"Yes. He's someone who trains in the Elemental Class of Color Fighting." Mist said. "Color Fighting Styles normally match the person's personality rather than profession."

"I see. Well, I do not doubt his ability, I mean, he and his crew became Olympic champions for a reason, but… Now that I'm a Color Fighter myself, I want to see how he stacks up to me, face-to-face." Kazutora said.

"Okay…" Misty said sweat dropping a bit.

Interview 5…

Mist then sat with the writing man.

"Name and Style." Mist said.

"Kusaragi...user of the Talisman Style." he said.

"Why do you want to train here?" Mist asked.

"In order to fulfill the wishes of a departed friend." Kusaragi said.

Interview 6…

Mist then sat with the woman.

"Name and Style." Mist said.

"Priyan. User of the Army Style." she said.

"And...why do you want to train here?" Mist asked.

"To try and take charge of a poor world and make it better." she said.

Interview 7…

Mist soon sat with Techno.

"You're the last one. Now...Name and Style." Mist said.

"I… am Mech, a clone of criminal Techno Flux who has gained independence. I use the Mechanize Style of Color Fighting." the

"I see...and why do you want to train here?" Mist asked.

"I am here to find a new way in the Multiverse." the newly christened 'Mech' said. "One separate from my origins."

"I see...hmm….just curious Mech, but...why did you lie to me just now?" Mist asked.

"Ah...what?" Mech asked.

"I said...why did you lie to me?" Mist asked.

"What makes you…" Mech said as he noticed the water on the floor.

"This is a special water I use for this sort of thing. It was under the chair of all the applicants. It ripples whenever someone tells a lie." Mist said.

"...So it does." Mech said, looking down.

"Now...you seem like a nice person...so I'll allow you another chance to tell the truth. But...if you cannot...I will have to get violent." Mist said.

"(I can feel her being sincere. If I don't come clean, she'll strike me down like I'm in the middle of a storm in the ocean. Guess I have no choice.)" Techno said. "Fine… you caught me. I'm the real Techno Flux, and after my latest...slipup, if you may have heard, I was just looking for a place to hide out for the time being."

"And I could tell you do not have Color Fighting." Mist said. "At least not yet."

"Yet? What do you mean?" Techno asked.

"It means while you do not know any style...your aura...it definitely has the potential. You can learn Color Fighting." Mist said.

"...What." Techno said flatly, hardly believing what he was hearing.

"The goal of this place is to bring out a person's potential. The interviews are to make sure no one as bad as Lucius doesn't enter. We aren't good or evil. We're sort of a grey area. What one does with their style is their own decision, not ours." Mist said.

"So… you'll help me try to unlock this potential for Color Fighting, and I just… don't do anything Lucius would do?" Techno asked.

"Uh...I guess. Sort of a strange way to say it." Mist said.

"...Well alright then." Techno said. "I'll join in on the training, and I won't cause trouble while I'm here."

"Okay." Mist said.

The seven then rejoined in the room.

"Congratulations. You have all been welcomed." Mist said. "For training, you can practice and develop these styles on your own time and work on growing your own supply of aura. As for rooms, you seven will share a single room. So...welcome and good training."

"A single room?" Techno repeated, looking at Rush, who grinned wickedly back at him. "Oy vey… (I'm going to get beat up alot, aren't I?)"

"So it seems we have finally made it. Let's do our best." Priyan said.

"Indeed. Let us hope for a well balanced life." Bala said.

"Yeah. Background doesn't matter here. We're all in the same boat. So let's do our best to support each other however we can, yeah?" Kazutora asked.

"Yeah...remember that when I fight my way to the very top!" Rush said.

"Uh...you're kind of…" Ri said nervously.

"Strong? Yeah...I am." Rush said. "Better be ready...cause I'm going to take this place one day."

"...This does not bode well." Techno stated plainly.

"Hmm...he seems fine." Kusaragi said.

And so the new trainees were welcomed into the temple. However, a series of events even they would not predict were about to take place.
