Chapter 01: The Prophecy
In the far galaxy, on the planet Huginn, there are the inhabitants, known as the Kakezo race. The Kakezo race are the direct descendants of the mysterious, elusive Chozo clan of yore.
On the planey Huginn, the Kakezo worship their Chozo ancestors, believing that the ancient Chozo clans that passed on, have ascended to divine godhood. Though there was said to be a prophecy among the Kakezo...The prophecy of one human, with both the blood of a Chozo and a Metroid. This human hybrid was known to their ancestors as "The Hatchling", "Newborn" and "The Huntress".
Also in the prophecy, "The Huntress" will aid the Kakezo with fighting the unclean creatures that have brought genocide to their ancient ancestors many ages ago. To the Kakezo, it would predicted to be the ultimate battle between order and chaos, as well as the battle between good and evil.
This prophecy, will lead the Kakezo into a whole new age. Whether if there will be victory or downfall, is still unknown, even to the prophets themselves.
Today, in the town of Marius, there was a holy commune, dedicated to the worship of the Chozo clan. Within this holy commune, there was a young Kakezo priest, named Iska. Like other members of the Kakezo race, Iska was birdlike in appearance, with shiny light platinum blue skin, bright amber eyes, long, dark sapphire blue claws, a slender, yet lean build, and had a pair of retractable wings that had lovely, luminous, blue and white feathers. Iska's priest outfit consists of a gold hued turban with a veil, a silver white robe laced with gold, and a matching gold overcoat laced with iridescent white decals. It was the typical outfit for male priests of the Kakezo clan.
Unlike certain clergies back on Earth, the Kakezo priests are priestesses are allowed to fall in love with others, and start families together. However, Iska was still haunted by the traumatic memories of losing his beloved at a temple he used to train at ever since his childhood. His childhood love, a Kakezo maiden named Yumelle. She was everything to Iska. It broke his heart when Yumelle sacrificed her life and soul to save Iska on that tragic day four years ago.
After losing Yumelle, Iska was discovered by Father Sendak, the grand high priest of the Marius Temple commune. The grand high priest took the distraught priest under his wing, giving Iska a new chance at life.
Within the holy commune temple, Iska was seen praying in the shrine of the ancient ancestors. This chamber of the temple is decorated with hieroglyphic like wall paintings, altars, luminous candleflies, and a bunch of handmade figurines made in the likeness of their ancient Chozo ancestors.
A couple altar figurines, on the other hand, stood out from the rest of the other figures. Kind of how like a red gem stands out from a sea of blue gems.
The first figure was made in the image of a humanoid woman clad in an ancient Chozo power suit. The female figurine had her long blonde hair tied up in a ponytail, had delicate, yet stoic facial features, a slender, yet shapely figure, and carried her helmet in one arm, while wearing an arm cannon gun in another. Her armor was in the colors of red, orange, and yellow, with her arm cannon and markings being a shade of jade green.
The other figure depicted the same blonde haired humanoid woman, now, wearing a completely different outfit and hair style. This version had a long, braided ponytail, clad in jewelry, and wears in outfit consisting of a pastel yellow under-robe with a crimson red sash, a blue overcoat with white trimming and long flowing sleeves, her feet are adorn with dark brown sandals. These two figures were the adored favorites of the young Kakezo priest. He found great comfort with these figurines whenever he was lonely.
"Our Chozo ancestors, please, bless this night with peace and tranquility. When we sleep, are souls we shall keep...When we die, our souls you all shall take...If we live to see another day, may our ancestors guide our way..." Iska prayed quietly at his shrine.
"Our Lady Hatching, please guide us descendants through these trying times. Bring peace to all of the galaxy, help out the innocent, and protect us from our unclean foes. Praise be!" Iska finishes his prayer before going back to his room that was one of the few situated off the shrine, with only a royal purple curtain separating the rooms from one another.
There, Iska puts on some audio dramas, makes his bed, then drifting off to sleep, after a long busy day of temple work.
Meanwhile, in the valley outside of Marius, a spaceship makes an emergency landing. The spaceship resembled a strange hybrid of a violet UFO and boomerang, which flies on blue fire. Out of the spaceship, an armored woman, with a green alien bird, and three green alien imps come out. The armored woman is revealed to be the legendary bounty hunter Samus Aran, who is now, a fugitive on the run.
It started five years back, where Samus disobeyed the Galactic Federation, by destroying the BSL space station, instead of bringing back specimens of the X-Parasite as she was told. So the Galactic Federation betrayed Samus, and sided with her worst enemies of all time: The Space Pirates/Space Dragons.
If Samus didn't have her alien companions, the Dachora and the Etecoons on her side, Samus would be totally alone, broken, and abandoned.
Not only that, but Samus started to feel some guilt over causing the extinction of the Metroids. Ever since a Metroid hatching saw Samus as its mother, this all changed the bounty hunters views on these alien beings. Then, the hatching sacrificed itself to save her from death by Mother Brain's hands back on Zebes, leaving a traumatic impact on Samus' life...
However...Samus' life was changed forever, now that the Dna from her hatching ending up saving her from death by the hands of the X-Parasites. Now, Samus and the Hatching were one and the same, assimilated with one another.
Samus and her alien friends searched around the planet to see if there was civilization nearby. The environment around her was thick with forest growth, so it was hard to tell. "Ugh...Please...Please...Let there be civilization nearby. I just want somewhere to rest...ugh! Ack!"
Just as Samus thought the coast is clear, a couple of dragon like creatures started to ambush her. One dragon was a smokey gray color with a buff figure. The other was shorter, fatter, and was a crimson red color. The figure shout in rage, "STOP RIGHT THERE!"
"Who the hell are you two?" Samus growled in rage as she points her arm cannon at the two.
"I am Ira!" The gray dragon bellowed.
"I am Gula!" The fat crimson dragon roared. "And we are both going to avenge the fall of our great master Ridley!"
While Samus prepared to fight her sworn enemies, she faced both the Dachora and the Etecoons, giving them commands while she prepares for battle. "Dachora, Etecoons, …. Run...Run away to safety! I'll take care of these two."
The alien animals did as they were told. They flee the scene, while Samus stays behind to fight off Ira and Gula.
The battle starts with Ira trying to impale the huntress with his tale, only for her to dodge it quicker than the speed of light. Right there Samus uses missiles on Ira, causing some damage to his body. "Damn bitch! You think you are so smart huh?"
Gula starts to charge and body slam Samus. The huntress did take some damage, but it wasn't major. She counter attacked by shooting super missiles at Gula to get him off of her. "Take that fatty!"
"Who are you calling Fatty?" Gula sneered as he and Ira tried to gang up and attack Samus. While Samus did get slightly hit with Gula's shockwave attack, she did end up dodging Ira's lightning ball breath, pummeling the two dragons with more missiles and super missles.
"Just give up already!" Samus growled in frustration. "Ridley is dead, and there is nothing you two can do about it!"
"Wanna bet!?" Gula and Ira shrieked in unison.
Now, both Gula and Ira were circling the huntress, thinking of their next attack. But, just as she was trying to use her missiles and super missiles on them, she realized that she was low on ammo, putting her in a vulnerable situation. "No...NO! This cannot be!"
Right there, Samus got grabbed by Ira, who lifts the huntress off the ground, putting her in a choke hold mid air. Samus puts her hands around Ira's wrists, trying to get them to stop strangling her. Behind her, Gula started to mock her, taunting her with, "You're ass is ours now! We'd like to see you get out of this one!"
Now, Ira was using his lightning breath on Samus, electrocuting her while strangling her. Gula joined on the attack, whipping Samus with his sharp, spiky tail. Samus struggled and struggled, but their grips got stronger and stronger.
Just as Samus's body grew weak, Ira slams her down to the ground, making the huntress groan in pain. She still was conscious, but low on energy. All she can do, was watch the two dragons circling her, planning their next attack. "Now's let's finish this skank off..."
"No...No...It can't end here..." Samus thought to herself in defeat. She wanted to get up and fight again, but her energy was too low, thus, Samus felt like a slug drenched in salt.
But just as the dragons were planning to finish her off, a sudden miracle happened...
Gula's head was blown off by a plasma laser, killing him instantly. Right there, Ira was petrified in fear over what just happened to his ally. "What the hell? NOW WHAT!?"
As Samus was struggling to stay conscious, she heard some familiar voices. She heard the chirps and chattering of the Dachora and Etecoons, alongside some speech in a dialect Samus hasn't heard in a long time.
"We got you two now!" The two voices yelled in that familiar dialect. "Unhand that soldier now! Or you will die right here!"
While there were more lasers being shot, Ira started to panic, turn tail, and run for the hills. "Ah shit! Gotta get outta here! Until next time! Grr..."
Samus couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe what she was hearing..."Is that a dialect related to the Chozo languge? It cannot be...This has to be...Ugh! Ack!"
There, Samus went unconscious before she can see her rescuers.
-
The two rescuers are revealed to be a couple of Kakezo hunters who were just minding their own business, when suddenly, the Dachora and Etecoons came to them, acting frantic, like someone was in danger. The two hunters know these alien animals were tame, so they spared them, and followed their lead. There, the benevolent hunters drove away their enemy space dragons, saving Samus from sudden death. However, that was just the beginning of things to come.
The two Kakezo hunters were clad in green and gray camouflage armor, with khaki brown cloaks and helmets that resembled plague doctor marks worn by humans back on medieval Earth.
"Oh geez Orin, I hope this person is okay here." One hunter said to the other.
"Same here Graff. Same here."
The hunter named Orin approaches the unconscious Samus, asking, "Hey, are you okay there...I hope you can...Ummm...Err...OH MY GOD! GRAFF COME HERE! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!"
Graff started running towards Orin, feeling a lot of urgency to check out the situation. "What is it Orin?"
Then Graff looked down at the injured and unconscious Samus, exclaiming in shock, "Oh my lord...Is that...is that...?"
Orin started to act all frantic with the discovery, his body quivering in excitement. "This person! It is no ordinary person! This is our messiah! OUR LADY HATCHLING!"
Graff started to hug the Dachora and Etecoons, cheering, "Oh thank you guys! Thank you for this discovery!"
"Well, WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR GRAFF?" Orin cries out loud. "We have to do go back to Marius, and get her help at the temple commune. Hurry! There is no time to lose."
"Yes! Yes! Let us be on our way." Graff replies, as Orin carries the wounded Samus in his arms, with his companion, as well as Samus's alien animal companions, make their frantically back to the town of Marius. They left in a urgent hurry, not even once looking back.
