Planet Sadala

Age: ?

A prehistoric world decorated with great mountain crags and arch trees. As Pterodactyls roam the sky, so do dinosaurs and sabercats roam the world beneath it. That said such creatures are often seen as little more than food or pets to the race known as the Saiyans.

Evolved from the Ozaru, the Saiyans had made their homes and cities within the forests of their homeworld.

The forests were perhaps one of the best places for a Saiyan to live. Food was common, and water was plentiful. Considering a Saiyan ate more than 30 times their body weight the ambient amount of beasts in the area gave Saiyans a plentiful amount of food to work with. It made the forest a common place for settlements.

Leaving the city sector, where a forest path lies cut in half by a river, a woman simply walks on, her attention drifting from place to place as she took in her surroundings. A basket under her arm as she let her tail sway from side to side. "It's a nice day out." She mused turning her attention to the birds and animals that were just drifting about in the area. Those that bothered taking notice of her quickly turned away, realizing that she wasn't of any threat to them. "Now if I'm right… Burga should be… around here somewhere." She reached the end of the river where it gave way to a waterfall, and found a man meditating beneath it, eyes closed as he drowned out the rest of the world. Burga was a pretty tall man by saiyan standards, then again he was 8ft tall. His spiked hair didn't reach for the sky and instead headed down his neck. His beard was growing in well. He wore dark teal pants, though that seemed to be it as he had left his black shirt and the purple pelt she had gotten him off to the side as to not get them wet.

In his meditation he was attempting to clear out his head, calm his spirit and empty his heart.

Or at least, he attempted to.

From the twitch of his brow it was obvious that something wasn't going right for him.

"Burga…" A young woman called out as she stepped into the clearing, and almost immediately her tail went rigid. Something forcing itself from the man, something wild and primal that sent the nearest animals darting towards the forests.

Burgas opened his eyes, gasping for air as the sensation started to pass, his muscles once attempting to grow suddenly dropping back to normal size as he rested a hand over his head. A red eye peeking through the fingers before it went completely black.

"Damn… not yet huh?"

"Burga!" The man raised his hand and looked around his attention, turning to see the woman at the edge of the waterfall basin just looking up at him. He smiled.

"Tempara…"

"Hungry? I brought you something to snack on." He just smiled at her as he floated away from the waterfall and made his way towards his counterpart.

"You beautiful woman." Burga muttered as he made his way to land as his counterpart held out her hand to his confusion. "What?"

"Dry yourself off first." Tempara requests as Burga seems to look himself over before scratching his head. "Oh right." He grumbled before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath as Tempara's eyes widened.

"Wait, not that way-" With a sudden roar and spike of his energy, Burga quite literally blew the water off his body and clothes, Letting it go flying in all directions as he dried himself off.

"There that should…" Looking at Tempara's wet form Burga just watched her take a deep breath as she opened her eyes. "Oh…" Burga took a step back. "Uh… sorry?" Tempara just set her basket on the grass and walked up to her counterpart as he continued taking steps backwards. "T-Tempara hang on a-"

She didn't even have to touch him, he fell back first into the waterfall basin himself.

She just smirked and crossed her arms as she watched him pull himself from the water. "Serves you right." Burga just looked at the woman as she started to snicker, and it eventually broke into a laugh, one that he couldn't help joining in on.

A good laugh later and the two found themself sitting on the grass as they started to eat.

"So, how's Teryakki?" Tempara asked as she munched on her food.

"Sis is busy, but she's good." Burga stated with a smile. "She's with mom visiting the capital to see the king, for the hope of building an alliance."

"So it's just you out here?"

"Well I wouldn't say just me." Burga corrected as he finished a sandwich. "I mean I got you here with me."

"Yeah." Tempara muttered as she leaned against her counterpart - her husband's side. "Can't complain about that."

"Wouldn't be able to even if I wanted to." Burga muttered as he rested his head on his wife's skull and took a breath, just enjoying each other's presence.

"How close are you getting?" Tempara asked as her husband leaned back on the grass with a sigh and seemed to think for a moment.

"I…" He began. "I don't know." He confessed. "Feel like I'm not even taking a step forward in controlling that part of my energy." He muttered with a frown. "And all honesty I'm starting to think I should just step from this endeavour all together.."

"Why?" Tempara asked. "It's your energy, it's part of you right?"

"Yeah it is, but…" Burga seemed to go silent as he stared skyward. "I don't like it… I don't like how it feels." He confessed. "This part of me is way different from when I learned to control the Oozaru in my blood. When I learned to control that it was just making peace with the beast inside, but this thing?" He frowned. "It's…" He paused, taking a minute to think of his response. "It feels… wrong."

"How so?"

"It feels savage, but not in the same way as letting the Ozaru out. There's something… there's something dark about it, something evil."

"Burga…"

It's battlelust and destruction, hatred and malice… It's twisted and… I don't like it." He continued, seeming to think. "Plus the Beast inside doesn't like it either."

"Your Ozaru doesn't like it?" Tempara asked in surprise as she looked her husband over for a moment before staring at his tail. "That's unexpected. I guess even the beast within has standards." She mused.

"Yeah, crazy right?" Burga stated with a smile, though it did quickly fade away. "Plus I don't like how easy it is to call on and use." He admitted as he sat up again. "Using the power it proves is so easy… so tempting… I don't like it."

"Would you like it better if you could earn the power it gave you." Her husband shrugged.

"Maybe if it didn't feel as it did. Leave this… craving to keep using it." Burga started to think back, the image of someone crossing his mind as he frowned. "I only started trying to figure out how this part of my ki worked to understand Cumber, but… maybe I don't think I should anymore."

"You miss him don't you?"

"I miss how things were, back when he was just my friend. Not… this person I can barely even recognize." Burga muttered as he shook his head and the pair fell silent. Letting a moment pass between them as Tempara seemed to think.

"Do you want to spar?" Burga looked at his wife with this chuckle.

"You want to spar? Right now?"

"Why not, it's been a while since we did." Tempara stated as she got to her feet and did a few quick stretches. "We've been so busy that we've barely had time to do anything together."

"I guess your right." Burga admitted, a light smile on his face as he got to his feet and stared down at his wife. At 5"6 Tempara wasn't exactly short, but when your husband was a solid 8 ft, she certainly felt short at times.

"When you're ready, love."

Before he could blink, Tempara was already in front of him, a fist cocked back as she swung it at his chest. A small shockwave ripping through the clearing as the local animals turned to see what caused the disturbance. Burga had caught the fist without so much as moving, and quickly tossed it to the side as he threw a strike of his own. Tempara twisted, Letting her shoulder take the blow as redirected it to the side and immediately followed with a straight punch that hit home and her husband went back a bit.

She pressed her attack as her husband raised his arms to shield himself. The hit he intended to block came from his side as his wife stepped to the left. "That's two for me."

"Oh we're keeping score today?"

"Why not?"

Elsewhere

Above the skyline, two figures looked down upon Planet Sadala. Their attention focused on the city beneath them before it quickly shifted the deep forests and great crags that rested beyond the city borders. "So this is Planet Sadala." A woman mused as she sat on her staff, as it continued to float in midair. Letting her gaze drift from place to place, she stared down at the world beneath her and smiled. "It's far better looking than I expected."

"I expected ancient Saiyans to complete barbarians living in caves and mud huts." Her counterpart admitted as he crossed his arms, staring down at a city made both wood and stone. "It appears they had some knowledge of building even before the exodus to Planet Vegeta."

"Well the Saiyans were Space Pirates. They'd have to learn some innovative skills before leaving their planet." The woman muttered as she seemed to think. "Still. I sense incredibly strong power levels here. We can make use of this." She told her counterpart as she got off her staff and pointed it into the air. She didn't "twirl" it, but she did make small circles before some strange energy started to gather at its tip and space-time started to spin and open itself up, giving way to a dark abyss. Something started to be pulled out of it; first a finger than a hand, an arm… a body came out of the hole she had made, and though the figure was unconscious, they started to stir for a moment before returning to their slumber.

"Are you certain we should rely on that Saiyan?" Her counterpart asked as they watched the body drop out of the sky and make their way towards the city. "That version of him is difficult to control without his father around."

"That may be, but we don't need to control, we simply need him to fight. That's all." She remarked with that same seductive smile on her face."

The body dropped into the city with enough force to rival a small boulder. It rattled the city, but it didn't break it as though it were a twig. Still Saiyans young and old paused, taking a minute to approach the crater and stare down at the body that was resting within it. Then they turned to the sky trying to see where the figure had fallen from or at the very least whoever threw them down here.

Failing in that attempt they turned to see the figure resting in the crater, they were a tall young man, a Saiyan with light skin and black hair that went down his back. His wristbands, boots and sash were black but his pants were a dark teal color.

Behind a white and black mask his eyes opened, and he smiled.

Burga froze, the hairs on the back of his neck suddenly standing up as his wife went on the attack. He turned his head towards the city, narrowing his eyes only to suddenly double over as his wife kneed him below the belt.

"O-ow~

"Burga!" Tempara squeaked as she crouched down next to her husband and started to fret over him. "I'm sorry, I thought you'd block that or something? Are you ok?"

"D-don't worry, still pretty sure it works… just… just give me a second." He wheezed out as Tempara bit her lips. "Oh shit I think I just earned a Zenkai."

"What happened, it's not like you to get distracted all of a sudden."

"I…" Burga sucked in a breath as he took a minute to recover. "I felt something strange." He breathed out as he looked towards the direction of their home city. "Something just happened." Letti looked in the direction her husband was facing and squinted, expanding her senses as best she could as she tried to pinpoint what was going on.

"I feel a strange energy." Burga nodded as he got to his feet and turned towards the town.

"I'm gonna head back and see what's going on."

"I'm coming with you." Burga didn't question it, instead choosing to just gather his ki and fly off, his wife quickly following after him.

?

Elsewhere, somewhere beyond space and time a young man gulped as he stared at the scroll in front of him. In it he saw an era he didn't know a thing about. But in that era he saw a monster that still haunted his nightmares at times.

The sash was a different color, the pants as well, but no nothing, not even the mask could hide that figure that had brought his own father to his knees.

A Saiyan unlike any other in existence, the kind born every one thousand years.

Broly.

That was the masked Saiyan's name.

"What the… w-why is Broly there?"

"This is the change in history I told you about." A petite woman stated as she stood beside her counterpart. "Someone has brought Broly to the past and now he's causing trouble on Sadala."

"S-Sadala?" the young man turned to the woman in question. I thought that Planet Vegeta was the planet the Saiyan's were from."

"That's where they migrated after Sadala was destroyed by infighting." She told him as she shook her head and picked up the scroll. "But that's a story for another time. We can't let Broly continue running around like this." She handed the young man the scroll. "If he stays in the past, he'll destroy everything he comes across, and if the Saiyan's are wiped out in this era…"

"Then every Saiyan in the future timeline will disappear." She gave him a nod as her counterpart took the scroll and tightened his hands around it.

Planet Sadala

Age: ?

By the time the two reached the city it had already become a battlefield. Saiyans young and old littered the grounds, buildings were broken as people were thrown into them and at the heart of it all was a masked Saiyan holding up one of the locals by the neck.

"Hey!" Burga ground out as he disappeared, reappearing next to the masked figure and grabbed their hand. "Hands off." He growled as the masked figure let go of his prey as Burga tightened his grip on the figure's hand. "What the fuck are you doing?" The figures stayed silent as he stared at him from behind the mask before throwing his arm to the side as he freed himself from Burga's grip. For a minute the two just seemed to stare at each other, one with a glare on his face while another's was unreadable thanks to their mask. "Who are you? Who sent you?" Burga muttered as Tempara watched the silent exchange. "Your ki smells… foul." He stated as the figure said nothing. "But…" He grabbed a fist aimed at his face, one of the buildings behind him seeming to cave from the shockwave the punch had released. His opponent gathered ki into his offhand, green and yellow gathering as Burga's eyes widened. He let go of his opponent and moved as the blast was released carving a path through the city as his eyes widened. "That energy…"

"Burga!"

"Stay back!" Burga grabbed his opponent by the neck and lifted him up, throwing him over his shoulder and into the air as he was sent flying. "Tend to the others I'll take care of this!" With a burst of Ki he went after the masked Saiyan.

Broly made to catch himself, trying to stop his flight as he looked back at the city he was flying away from. That was before the ancient saiyan grabbed him by the face and squeezed, cracks forming on his mask as he carried him further away from the city towards the forest outskirts. Broly didn't protest.

He didn't even react when the back of his head slammed into the ground and was dragged along the dirt for a moment. When they stopped the Ancient Saiyan simply narrowed his eyes as he held onto the other saiyan's face.

"It'll ask one. more. Time." He growled out. "Who are you? Who sent you, and what do you want?" Silence left Broly as he simply laid in the trench before he started to shake.

He started to laugh.

That laughter sounded like madness. Burga thought as the nameless Saiyan grabbed his arm and forced it off his face, bits of the mask falling off as Burga tried freeing his hand. "I am Broly." His opponent revealed as he pulled the arm, bringing Burga down as his opposite fist slammed into the taller Saiyan's jaw and sent him sideways. "And I'm going to destroy this planet!" The masked Saiyan got to his feet, flying after his downed opponent before dropping out of the sky and smashed into the ground. Burga rolled to the side before the hit could land and watched as the ground started to cave in.

"Damn you hit hard." Burga grumbled as he grabbed his jaw making sure that it wasn't broken and got ready. "But my wife hits harder." He stated as he watched Broly step out of the crater. "Still, you want to destroy huh? Sorry But I can't let that happen." He told him.

"You think you can stop me?"

"If I've got to, I will. Besides, I can sense your battle power. It's pretty big, but mine's bigger." Broly started to laugh again as more of his mask started to break off.

"No one is stronger than me."

They charged each other.

The first collision ended with their forearms smashing into one another. It was filled by their left fists meeting and then their rights. Each exchange cracked the soil beneath them, splinters of rock and gravel being lifted into the air as the ground beneath them caved, forming a makeshift ring around the two as they pushed against one another. They locked arms and smashed their heads together, Broly's mask cracking more as one of his eyes was revealed.

Tempara realigned a bone as she heard her patient grunt in pain. "Th-thank you."

"Don't thank me yet." She told her patient as she moved on to the next person. "I need help making sure everyone's ok." She didn't acknowledge the nod she was given as she went back to work, stopping only when she caught sight of some strange light that appeared not too far from her. When it faded this young man with a sword appeared in its place, looking around before seemingly caught off guard. "Where, where's Broly?"

Tempara got in front of the wounded as she narrowed her eyes. "Hey pale hair!" The new figure simply turned as Tempara's eyes widened. "You… you're a saiyan child. But your hair and eyes…" She shook her head as she balled her fists. "Never mind! What are you doing here, are you with that brute that attacked our city."

"What - no!" The Saiyan child stated as he held his hands out to show he didn't mean any harm to them. "I'm not with Broly, I'm here to stop him."

"Broly? Is that that masked Saiyan's name."

"My name is Trunks, all you need to know is that I've been sent to stop Broly's rampage." The Saiyan stated as he turned, sensing his target's energy a ways off. "There he is, and there's someone else there to…"

"That's my husband." Tempara admits as she looks at the wounded for a moment. "Hey you're here to stop that Broly guy right, they hurry up. Burga's strong but there's something really strange about that Broly guy's energy."

"Right." Trunks muttered as he took off, disappearing over the horizon as Tempara looked on for a moment.

"Burga, I don't think you'll need the back up, but that guys ki, it feels like Rua."

Trunks made it halfway through his flight before something slammed into him. It started with a shockwave, and what followed after were growing storm clouds.

They started to twist, forming what seemed to be a vortex as the world of Sadala started to shake.

"Wha- what the?" Coving his eyes for a moment Trunks could only stare at the vortex forming, feeling the pressure of two immense Ki signatures grinding against one another as the storm started to grow before reaching a certain size and seemingly stabilizing. "What is that?"

"I… I don't believe it, that's an Emperor's Ring!"

Hearing a voice in his ear Trunks just looked on as he stared at the sight before him.

"An Emperor's Ring?"

"It's a type of phenomena that appears when two extremely powerful beings fight! It's not like when someone exerts their power and the world is forced to tremble, it's more like a gravity swell that tries pulling everything nearby in. And whatever's pulled in gets ripped apart by the two fighting."

"Are- are you serious?" Trunks' eyes widened. "If that's the case how am I going to get near it?"

"Uh… uh… try going up! There's bound to be an eye where everything's calm. You should be able to drop down from there without getting hurt."

"Right!"

When the two break away it's like a bomb having gone off. The pressure gathering between them suddenly released and exploded outward. They're unfazed as they stare each other down. Burga raises a hand, sweeps the dust off his shoulders as Broly charges him. The moment Broly threw his punch it phased through Burga, who appeared at his side and decked him in the jaw and sent him stumbling.

"That's for the jaw."

Broly grabbed the arm and retaliated, slamming their heads together before following it with a punch that sent Burga into the air. He grabbed his leg and slammed him into the ground; once, twice, three times before throwing him to the side. When Burga recovered he found Broly already on him, crashing from the sky and into the ground.

Burga planted his fist into the smaller Saiyan's chest, quickly extending two fingers before following it with a second punch that sent Broly flying back.

Broly just caught himself, charging again as he clothelined his opponent, raising the taller Saiyan into the air before slamming him down into the dirt. He followed by raising his leg and brought it down, attempting to crush the taller Saiyan beneath it only for Burga to grab the leg and throw it sideways to get his opponent off balance. Broly went with it, dropping down on his elbow as Burga blocked with his knee and grabbed Broly's face and smashed it into the ground next to him as he got back up and dug a foot into the ground. Broly moved, seeming to teleport out of the crater his face had made and slammed his fist against Burga's as he was pushed back slightly.

"What's wrong, didn't you say you were stronger than me?"

"I am." Burga twisted his wrist and grabbed Broly's arm, pulling before slamming his fist into Broly's face as more of his mask started to break and he was sent back. That done, Burga shot forward and Broly made to grab him. He grabbed air as Burga appeared at his side and planted his fist into the Saiyan's side. "But raw isn't everything." He thrust his hand forward and Broly went sliding across the ground, his feet digging into the ground as he did before returning his attention to the Saiyan only to find an elbow in his chest. Broly took three steps back before growling as he looked at the figure as they got back up.

Broly raised his foot and slammed it down, cracking the earth beneath them as Burga started to lose his footing. Broly took that moment to grab burga by the head and bring it towards the splintered earth and smashed it in. Letting go he raised both his hands and gathered his energy between them forming this sphere of green-yellow energy that he brought down.

Burga managed to roll onto his back before it hit, raising his hands as he grabbed onto the sphere and pushed against it, trying to stop the blast from hitting him. It dug him further into the ground, but he kept it back to the best of his ability pushing it back to broly until it started to deform and exploded between the two.

Broly stumbled as Burga slowly rose to his feet, took a breath and shook his head.

"Close one." He muttered, staring at the Saiyan as they charged him. Burga raised his guard as he blocked the strike, grunting as he started getting pushed back a bit. 'He's getting stronger?' Burga deflected the blow as he countered with his own, smashing the rest of Broly's mask apart as he sent him staggering. 'He gets stronger as he fights.' He thought before charging forward. 'Just like Rua…' Burga thought as Broly grinned and brought an arm back ki gathering in his palm before he threw it forward as a blast of ki was released. Burga just deflected it to the side, letting it get caught up in the vortex that surrounded the pair.

"Die!" Broly threw a punch and Burga blocked with his shoulder before punching the saiyan in the face as Broly just grinned and retaliated with a ki blast to the chest that sent his opponent flying. Burga pushed the ki blast off his body and sent it skyward as he caught his footing. 'This guy really is like Rua.' Burga took a second to catch his breath as Broly just grinned and started walking towards him. If I drag this out I'm gonna be in trouble. Need to finish this fast."

"Having some trouble?"

Burga froze, dropping to his knees as he held his head. "Wha... what the?"

"Let me out, I'll take care of this."

"Who… who the hell are you?"

Well that's rude, I thought we were getting pretty close, I mean you have been trying to use my power after all."

"What?" Broly just looked down at the Saiyan grinning as he stared at his opponent.

"What's wrong, out of steam already?" He asked. "And here I thought I might get an actual challenge for once." He laughed. "But don't think we're done here, I'm going to paint the ground with blood." Broly grabbed Burga my the hair and lifted him up, raising his fist as he got ready to bring it down.

"Broly!"

Both Saiyans looked up, their attention turned to see Trunks dropping out of the sky as he drew his sword and his hair started to spike.

'That's!'

'A Golden haired Saiyan?"

Broly let go of Burga having found a new target and rushed to meet the younger saiyan head on. His forearm blocked the weapon, the weapon grinding against his skin like it were made of iron before he kicked the youth to the ground kicking up a noticeable cloud of dust as they did so.

"Well if it isn't that pathetic Vegeta's brat, I wasn't expecting to see you here. Have you come to die?"

"I won't be the one dying here today Broly." Trunks powered up shooting towards the man as he swung his sword again, going for the man's neck.

The blade didn't even cut skin.

"You think this little knife can hurt me?" He grabbed Trunks by the head and dived, slamming him into the ground before raising his foot. "Die." Trunks rolled to avoid the foot letting it cave into the ground as he got on his back and brought his hands up.

"Solar Flare!"

Burga wasn't surer what happened. Just that light suddenly overtook the area as Broly screamed. The Saiyan covered his eyes as blindness momentarily took him and started swinging around blindly.

"You brat, I'm going to crush you."

Trunks stepped back, getting some room as he tossed his sword into the air and brought his hands back. "Buster Cannon!" A wave of ki was released, smashing into the blind Saiyan as he was covered in smoke. Catching his sword the young Saiyan charged as Broly came out of the smoke and caught him by the neck before slamming their heads together hard enough to make Trunk's bleed. He followed it by punching in the side of the face and planted him into the ground. He grabbed the youths leg and raised him up, swinging him around before bringing him down again as he spit blood.

"Kid!" Burga got to his feet, struggling as wisps of black and red ki started to radiate off his body.

"Let me out!"

Something inside shouted as Burga stumbled, one of his eyes starting to turn red as his muscles tried to swell.

"I want to fight."

Trunks gasped for air as he struggled to get back to his feet. He realigned his shoulder as he got ready, staring down at Broly. "D-damn it!" He panted for breath. 'I can't believe this, I've become much stronger than when we met on New Vegeta, but… he's even more of a monster than I remember.' He grit his teeth. 'What's worse is he hasn't even transformed yet.' Broly charged him and Trunks did the same, swinging his sword with one hand Broly blocked with his arm and threw a punch with his opposite limb. Trunks caught it, barely managing to keep his bones from snapping under the pressure as they locked arms for a moment.

"Weak!" Broly laughed as he opened his mouth a blast of ki gathering in his mouth as Trunk's eyes widened.

Broly's head was suddenly yanked back, and it was a surprise his neck hadn't snapped as his blast went skyward. Burga planted his fist against the Saiyan's side and pushed him away from the youth. He turned towards the young man and caught his surprise.

"You ok kid."

"Y-ya, thanks." Trunks stated taking a minute to look at the Saiyan he didn't recognize. Seconds later he turned to Broly who was just picking himself up again.

"Look kid, I don't know you, but you're after this guy right?" Trunks nodded his head as Burga cracked his knuckles. "Then let's take care of him."

"Wait." Burga spared the Saiyan a glance. "I know this may sound crazy, but I can't have him dying here. If he does something bad might happen."

"What do you mean?" Trunks just seemed to sweat, not really sure how to answer that question without revealing anything too personal about either himself or the berserker. "You know what forget it." Burga looked ahead. "I'll pull my punches, but depending on how long this draws out I can't make any promises."

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me yet, I want an explanation when this is over."

"Are you two done coming up your worthless plan?" Broly charged and Burga met him head on, leaving Trunks to play catch up. His fist met Broly's and released a pressure wave upon contact. He stepped in, bringing his other fist into an uppercut as it slammed into Broly's stomach and sent him retching forward. He followed it with a knee to the face as he sent the other Saiyan back. Trunks followed it with a fist to the face, abandoning his sword as he channeled as much ki as he could into his hand to strengthen it. He flipped over the insane Saiyan, circling behind as he tried chopping him in the neck.

He wasn't expecting the Saiyan to turn his head and bite him on the hand, sinking his teeth so deep into his glove that he started drawing blood.

Trunks screamed as Broly jerked his head, pulling the golden Saiyan forward and had him slam into Burga before letting go and thrust a hand forward, a blast of ki in his hand as he made to vaporize the young man's face.

Burga reached forward, grabbing the blast as he held it back, holding it in between the two as he shoved the kid behind him and pushed the blast forward, crushing it between the pairs hands as they interlocked fingers. Burga pushed, actually making the saiyan drop to his knee as he started to twist the hand to the side and bent it. "W-what?"

"Come on, biting?" Burga muttered as he stared the smaller Saiyan down. "I know we're Saiyans but we're not children here." Broly continued to grit his teeth as he looked at the taller man, at least he did before it slowly twisted into a grin as he started bringing his hand upward, slowly bringing his arm back up as he started to get to his feet again. Burga's eyes widened as a familiar green-yellow aura started to gather around the saiyan as his hair started to stick up. He noticed Ki starting to gather in between the pairs bound fingers as his hand started to burn. With a quick jerk he released his hand, letting Broly's arm go to the side as he fired a wave of energy into the distance only for it to be swept up in the vortex that surrounded them. When it died down Broly lunged, smashing his fist against Burga's arm as he started to push the Saiyan backward.

Burga raised a knee as Broly jumped stepping on it as he pushed it back down and jumped, raising his hands over his head and brought them both down as Burga blocked grabbing the hands and threw him over his shoulder and into the ground. Broly just smiled as he got to his feet, twisting and shot his leg out as Burga stumbled and found a fist meeting his face. Burga powered through it, grabbing the hand and seeming to twist. Bringing Broly back to the ground he held onto the arm as he bent it back, attempting to dislodge it. Broly just raised himself to a knee as he started to raise both himself and the Saiyan above the ground and into the air. He twisted, slamming the Saiyan into the ground as he was let go before rolling to his feet some ways away. Broly pointed at him with his arm and released another blast of ki, one that Burga took head on and caught. He compressed the blast before throwing an arm back punching it before he returned the wave to its owner.

Broly seemed surprised by this maneuver getting hit by his own blast as he disappeared into an explosion of energy.

Trunks covered his eyes as the blastwave overtook him and when he returned his attention forward he saw that the berserker seemed out of it for the moment. "H-he did it?"

"He used his ki to catch and then redirect it back at him."

"W-wow…"

"That should do it." Burga muttered as he looked at the unconscious Saiyan. "Got lucky… if he fully transformed…" Trunks noticed something overhead as he shouted in surprise.

"W-what the?!" Burga looked up, his attention turning to the black sphere that was swirling in the sky.

"What the hell is that?" The sphere started to descend, and both Burga and Trunks jumped back, getting as much distance as they could as the black vortex swallowed the unconscious Saiyan. "Now what!?" Broly started to vanish seemingly swallowed up by the vortex before it could fully disappear. With Broly gone the vortex that wrapped around the two started to vanish as well as the pair just looked on. "What the hell just happened?"

"That was a wormhole." Trunks muttered as he powered down and Burga gave him a double take. "Who's causing these anomalies?" Burga didn't say anything as he took a breath and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Still, It's unfortunate Broly got away, I'm going to have to try tracking him down and…"

"Hey." Burga called out as he approached the youngster. "What in Sadala just happened? Who is Broly? Who are you, and what's up with your hair?"

"M-my hair?" Trunks asked in confusion crossing his face before something seemed to click. "R-right, pure-blooded Saiyans all have black hair." Burga raised an eyebrow as he grabbed a strand of the guy's hair.

"The way you say it it sounds like you're a hybrid."

"I am, my father's a Saiyan, my mother isn't." Trunks confessed as watched the taller man circle around him for a moment.

"Where's your tail?"

"My mother had it removed at birth."

"What?!" Burga looked like someone had just shot a sabercat cub in front of him. "Why would she do that? It's very important to keep your tail! Burga shouted as Trunks stepped back and waved his hands in defense of his mother.

"S-she had a good reason, honest." Trunks scratched his cheek. "I mean it's that or risk…"

"Trunks!"

The young man paused, his features sharpening as he looked skyward and Burga raised an eyebrow. "I'm here."

"I saw everything, are you alright, hows the hand?"

"I'm fine, I just need some bandages and I'll be good." Trunks looked at his hand for a moment as he frowned. "I'm sorry that Broly got away, but as soon as I get back I'll start searching for him."

"We can worry about Broly Later, first we need to get that hand looked at, and make sure you won't catch rabies or anything. I still can't believe that psycho bit you!"

"It's fine, really." Burga looked at the youth before turning his gaze to glance around.

"Who are you talking to?"

"I'll head back now." Trunks stated as He pulled out a scroll and looked at Burga. "Thanks again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience that Broly caused but I promise I will track him down and stop him."

"Yeah, about that." Burga muttered. "What was all that, I don't recognize that mask he was wearing and I definitely don't recognize him anywhere." Burga stated as he crossed his arms. "And I definitely don't don't recognize you either. What the hell is going on?"

"I wish I could explain, really I do, but I can't otherwise things might get screwed up down - ow!" Burga grabbed his ear as he pulled. "Ow hey let go!"

"Not until I get an explanation kid, what is going on?" Burga pulled again as Trunks winched, noticing that the scroll he was holding seemed to start glowing.

"Huh, hey wait!"

And in a burst of light, the pair was gone.

Time Nest

When Trunks came back, the first think the Supreme kai of time noticed was that someone was pulling his ear, repeatedly tugging at it like an annoyed parent.

"S-seriously, let go, you're gonna rip my ear off."

"No I'm not, quit whining, and tell me what's going… on?" The mountain of a saiyan paused, his attention turned to see the interior of a building that he couldn't recognize at all. "What in Sadala?"

"Hello!" He let go of Trunks ear as he looked down, both men's attention turning to see a petite woman standing in front of them. "Welcome back Trunks."

"S-supreme kai of time!" Trunks stood upright as he looked at the woman before them. She did this peace sign as she smiled, looking at the young man before her attention turned to Burga.

"You must be the Saiyan Burga." Burga slowly nodded. "I gotta say I wasn't expecting to see you here. Thank you if you hadn't been there, trunks might have been in real danger."

"Don't mention it." Burga stated before looking at the young man. "Still mine telling me where we are, this doesn't look like any place on Sadala."

"That's because you're not on Sadala." Trunks stated as he looked at the Supreme Kai of Time who nodded.

"Trunks go get your hand taken care of. I'll take care of explaining things."

"Are - are you sure?"

"Well theres no point in hiding things since he's already here. Also of the two of us I can better explain things."

"Right." Trunks muttered as he looked at Burga who just looked back at him and nodded his head before turning his attention to the petite woman as Trunks headed off. He crossed his arms.

"So… I have questions."

"I should be able to answer them." The Supreme Kai of Time stated as she put her hands on her waist proudly.

First… where am I?"

"This is the Time Vault, it's a place that exists outside space and time."

"What?"

"This is a place where time gathers." The Supreme Kai of Time stated. "From here, Trunks and I observe the flow of time across multiple timelines." She stated. "Usually that's all we do, but if someone goes back in time to change history, it's our job to go back and prevent the changes from happening."

"So your time travelers."

"More like time police."

"I don't believe you." The Supreme Kai of time simply smirked as she walked up to the scroll resting on the table. She started looking through it before her attention turned to a particular page and showed it to Burga.

"Look at this."

Burgas did as requested and stared down at it.

Planet: Sadala

Age: 206

Sitting at the edge of one of a river that cut through a sea of trees, a young Burga dipped his bleeding hands into the water as he took a breath. His knuckles hurt and the skin had torn, but they were in better condition than the trees he'd been throwing punches and kicks at for the past several weeks. The bark, which was as hard as iron, had chipped and fallen away. While he wasn't strong enough to break the wood just yet, his attacks on it we're starting to add up. "Still got a ways to go though." Burga muttered as he pulled his hands out the water, stared at them for a minute before leaning on his back and starring skyward. "Let's take a quick break." He told himself as he scratched his stomach and closed his eyes.

He'd been out in these woods for just over three months now, since what would be his seventh birthday if Saiyan's had celebrated such a thing. Like many a child he used the woods to train, turned the trees into sparring partners and the animals into snacks. Though, if he were being honest he more or less lived out here now. Regardless, Burga closed his eyes and yawned. "I think I'll take a nap."

Barely a moment later did his ears pick something up, the sound of something blowing up not too far from him. "Well there goes that idea." Burga muttered as he looked behind him as if to see what the noise was. He couldn't but he could hear more explosions in the distance, and expanding his senses he picked up what was likely the source. Five energy sources, each of them a bit bigger than the next but the sixth one was rather small in his opinion. "Must be training." Burga muttered as he looked away and closed his eyes. "Good for them."

Fighting was a central part of Saiyan culture, as such training was naturally an equally big part of it. Most children considered training a form of "playtime", and their games revolved around such things. Battle Match, King of the Mountain, and War were such examples. Not only did they use it to develop and test their battle power against others, but it was a cathartic way for them to settle matters and disputes. It was even a way to make friends and future allies as adults.

Opening his eyes Burga stretched as he sat up as he heard another explosion. "If they keep throwing energy blasts I'll never get my nap in."

That said the Saiyan took off, flying into the air as he made a beeline for the explosions.

Tempara flew, doing her best to dodge the energy blasts that were aimed at her as the others just laughed. "Come on Tempara, you gotta be faster if you want to dodge these!" One of her attackers shouted as they kept throwing energy blasts at her. The remaining four did the same, pelting the area with energy as she weaved between them all as best she could.

It was just her luck that these five had found her. Though it was also her luck that Bakkon hadn't caught wind of this, if he joined in she'd be unconscious in the forest already. Another volley came her way and she covered herself, forcing blasts of energy to start slamming into her as she started to drop out the sky. "And it's good!

"D-damn it…" Tempara muttered as one blast hit her dead in the stomach as she fell, smoke coming off her body as she watched the treeline get closer. 'Here we go again… it always ends like this.' Closing her eyes she just listened to the others laughing and the trees getting closer. She waited for the impact, braced herself as much as she could, and felt something grab her leg and keep her in the air for a moment. 'Guess… guess they aren't done with me yet…'

"Hey. Hey. You still conscious?" Burga asked as he held the girl by her foot and looked down. "Hey you in there?" Weakly the girl opened her black eyes as she looked at him, taking sight of the Saiyan around her age as she moaned in pain. "Hm, guess so." Burga muttered as he looked at her a moment longer and then to the others.

"Who's this guy?"

"Never seen him before." The five other Saiyans state as Buurga just stares at them. Like them he'd never seen these guys before, must be from one of the other tribes… or his tribe, he didn't spend much time home after all so he wasn't too sure which kids were there anymore.

"Hey who the hell are you?"

Just a guy who's nap you interrupted." Burga stated as he let the girl go and let her drop a bit before she floated to catch herself. "Seriously, I could hear your explosions from the river. What were you doing?" One of the boys just grins as he looks at the girl and crosses his arms.

"We were teaching Tempara how to dodge." He states.

"She's not that good at it." Another states. "Truth she's not really good at anything."

"Yeah, that's why her battle powers so low." Tempara flinched as she heard the words and Burga just glanced at her for a moment.

"You're right, her battle power is pretty low." He muttered as he stared at her and dug a finger into his ears to clean them.

"Right… you know we could use an extra hand in helping her train. You up for it?" Tempara flinched as she looked at the boy for a moment before flying back a bit and balling her fists. "See, she's up for a sparring."

"Yeah I guess so." Burga admitted as he released a grin of sorts. "Honestly I could use a sparring partner myself." Tempara gulped slightly as Burga cracked his bleeding knuckles.

"But I don't want to spar with her." Burga stated as he looked at the five others. "You guys have a higher battle power, so why don't you guys play with me a bit." The five just laughed for a moment.

"You think you can take us on?"

"What's wrong, scared?" Burga asked.

"There's no force in this universe that a Saiyan's afraid of." One counters with a smirk.

"Then come on." Burga's voice dips into an almost feral growl, like his inner Ōzaru was trying to come out.

"Fine then." One of the boys states as he flies forward. "I'll go first!"

Time Nest

Burga blinked in surprise seeing the fight play out as he looked down at the scene from his past. "This is the day I first met my wife." He stated in surprise as he turned the scroll over and seemed to look for something before turning to the Supreme Kai of Time. "How did you… how am I?"

"That is the Book of Beginning and End." The petite woman stated. "This one contains the entire record of history throughout this universe in particular." She took the scroll back. "As the Supreme Kai of time it's my job to protect it. If it were damaged or destroyed… this universe will cease to exist." She continued holding onto the book. "When history gets changed, the book creates a scroll with an alternate time within it. And our job is to correct those timelines so that they can go down the proper road in history." Burga just blinked, looking at the small woman and then the scroll before scratching his head. "You really are time travelers… or police or whatever.

"The correct term is Time Patrol." She stated as she set the scroll down.

"So that kid and that broly guy, they're time Patrollers too?"

Well, Trunks is." Broly on the other hand isn't." She stated. "Someone moved him from his time period into your age."

"Ok but why though?"

"That's something I can't answer." the Supreme Kai of Time stated as she looked down and crossed her arms. "But someone's been making a number of alterations throughout history as of late. Trunks and I have had our hands full keeping history on the right path."

"Well what's so bad about history getting changed. What's the worst that can happen."

"Boom." The Supreme kai of time states.

"Boom?" She jumped, spreading her arms out.

"BOOM~!" Burga just stared at the pintsized woman. "The Time Vault only has so much space. And when the Book of eternity releases a new scroll, that space can get filled up very fast." The Supreme Kai of time stated. "And once the Time Vault's reached its limit, boom. Once the vault goes, the entire universe goes with it past, present and future." Burga leaned against the table in thought.

"So it's try and restore time to its original state, or "boom" as you put it."

"Fraid so." the Supreme Kai of Time stated as they both turned their attention to the scroll as Burga frowned. The Supreme kai of time seemed to think for a moment as she looked sat Burga. "Hm~"

Burga raised an eyebrow at the woman who merely reached his knees. "What?"

"How would you like to become a Time Patroller?"

?

They were in luck. Even though the mask was broken, with Broly being unconscious it was easy to get him back and put him back under control of a more heavy duty mask. Still The woman in question paid little mind to the infamous, instead choosing to focus on her counterpart as she pointed her energy absorber at him. Releasing the stored up energy within it her counterpart simply took in what it had absorbed from the unconscious Saiyan.

"Excellent." Her counterpart stared at his hand, taking a minute to clench it. "This power will make me even stronger than before."

"Of course it will." Ste told him. "But we're not done just yet. If your to be the strongest Mira, we need to absorb more power from other fighters."

"Who shall we target next then?" The pale man, Mira asked as he crossed his arms again as Broly started to twitch in his sleep.
