Hello, everyone. This is Raychiu and I am bringing you a new story called Ash's Ceolis Story. If you want to know, this is a fangame called Pokemon Spork and the creator is called Ice Cream Sand Which. If you want to know more about this game, check out the Pokemon Reborn website. Anyways, let's get to the story.
Chapter 1 A New Beginning
A white-haired girl is standing in the darkness, as she hears a voice calling to her, "Hi there!" As she turns around, a Litwick is standing in front of her. "I'm Litwick! I can see that you're a sleepyhead! Do you need help remembering anything, sleepyhead?"
"Remember what?" The girl asks. "I think I didn't get Amnesia."
"You and your big sister, Emily, are on vacation in the Ceolis region. Both of you have a Pokemon, but neither of you has battled before. This vacation could be a good opportunity to start. The beginning of a new adventure! Are you a buoy, a grill, or not a bakery?" The Litwick asks.
The girl is a little offended and she says, "I am a girl, thank you."
"Great! So what's your name? Or should I just call you Sleepyhead?" The Litwick continues to ask.
"I have a name and it's Alice." Alice says, feeling annoyed at the Ghost Type Pokemon in front of her.
"Alright! Just one more question. I remember that Emily has a Buneary, but... I can't seem to remember what Pokemon you have. I think it was one of these?" Litwick asks as he shows a lot of Pokemon in front of her. Alice says, "There are so many Pokemon...but my Pokemon is an Alolan Vulpix, and that is for sure."
"Alright! And with that, I think it is time for you to get ready! Have fun and be safe in your travels! Maybe we'll meet again!" The Litwick suddenly fades out.
Alice wakes up from her bed, and she hears her sister Emily say, "Okay, I think I'm all packed now...now I just have to wait for Alice to wake up."
"I am already awake, sis." Alice says, and it causes the girl to turn around. "Oh hey, Alice! I was so busy packing I didn't notice you were up! Did you sleep well?"
"I have a strange dream..." Alice mutters as she tells her the Litwick.
"Huh? You had a dream about a Litwick that seemed to know who we are? That's so silly!" Emily says, and Alice sighs, "I hope you are right."
"Although I wonder if it could have been real...some Pokemon have pretty amazing powers, so you'll never know!" Emily says.
"Yeah." Alice can only agree.
"For now though, I think you should start getting ready. You wouldn't want to leave without your shoes and your Pokegear, would you?" Emily hands over the Pokegear to Alice, who accepts it without hesitation, then Alice also wears her own running shoes.
"And here is a Fresh Water! I got one for each of us!" Emily says with a smile. Alice doesn't say anything as she takes the water.
"By the way, I was wondering...we've never battled before, and we're about to start our vacation here in Ceolis. How about we kick off our vacation with our first battle?"
"Here in our room?" Alice asks with annoyance, and Emily says, "Duh."
She sends out Buneary while Alice is using Vulpix, and they battle very hard until Alice's Vulpix faints in the end.
"Wow... my heart is racing after that. I kinda figured being your older sister would give me the edge, but you put up a fierce fight. I wasn't sure if I'd win. I guess me being the older sibling doesn't really matter that much when we are both just as inexperienced, haha."
"Yeah..." Alice mutters, still petting her Vulpix.
"Win or lose, I'm happy my first ever battle was against you, Alice! I guess I'll be heading out now. Meet me at the tourist info center! Also, the Tamato Berry on the table is for you. See you in a little bit."
After Emily leaves, Alice can only sigh as she says, "Vulpix, we are going to have our own adventure in the Ceolis Region. Are you excited?"
Vulpix wags its tails and nods, Alice smiles and says, "I just hope everything will be fine..."
At the same time, a boy named Ash Ketchum just arrived at the Tourist Info Center, he is angry and he mutters, "I can't believe that happened..."
He doesn't know how did he get here, but the last thing he knows, he was at his house celebrating with the others for his win in the Galar League, until Team Rocket comes and they crash the party. Ash tries to save the others, and he sacrifices himself when battling against their boss Giovanni.
That is what he thought, but he is here, still alive, because of Arceus. He heals up all his wounds, and then he brings Ash and some of his Pokemon to the Ceolis Region, wanting him to become the Champion before heading back to Kanto, as there is some kind of evil organization that is trying to get the mysteries of the Data Vault, a place where all mysteries can be found.
Ash right now has Snorlax, Sirfetch'd, Noivern, Krookodile, Lycanroc, Heracross, Gengar, Lucario, Charizard, Greninja, Sceptile, and Pikachu, the rest are in either Professor Oak or his friends' hands, Ash isn't angry at them for doing this decision, since they all think he is dead. Still, Ash doesn't like keeping secrets to his mother, as he calls her and tells her that he is alive, but asking her to keep everything a secret because it will be easier to get stronger without distractions. Delia agrees and he just hopes that Ash can have a safe journey.
When he is inside the Tourist Info Center, he hears a voice, "Are you Ash Ketchum?"
This causes him to get surprised as he turns around, he notices Emily and he says, "I am Ash Ketchum, but how do you know my name?"
Emily smiles and says, "Come on, your name is really famous in Kanto, well. I am Emily, and I am from Saffron."
"It is nice to meet you, Emily." Ash says with a surprise. Emily says, "My sister and I are fans of yours, we are really motivated by your never giving up attitude."
"I'm glad to hear that." Ash says, and Emily asks, "So what brings you here to this place?"
Ash frowns and he says, "I want to be stronger, and I heard that participating in the League of this region will help me out."
"I see." Emily says, but before she can ask for more, Alice walks into the center and Emily says, "Hey, Alice! You're just in time!"
Alice notices Ash and she just freezes, Ash says, "You must be Emily's sister. I am Ash Ketchum, it is nice to meet you."
Alice can't believe Ash Ketchum is talking to her, she blushes and says, "I am Alice...from Saffron..."
Emily notices Alice's blush and she smirks, then they hear the receptionist says, "Welcome to the Ceolis Region's Tourist Info Center! Is there anything in particular that you want to know about? Or should I give you a general rundown?"
"I guess a General Rundown will be fine." Emily says. "Our parents have been to Ceolis before, so we have heard a bit about this region, but this is our first time here!"
"If you don't mind me, where are you guys come from?" The receptionist asks.
Ash says, "I am from Pallet Town, and both Emily and Alice are from Saffron City. All of them are in Kanto."
"Saffron City...that's where the Silph Co. is, and Pallet Town is also where the Professor Oak's Lab is." The receptionist says. "Though I heard that it's hard to get permission to explore much of it now for security reasons, but it's still neat to see it. And you said that your parents have been here before? Was it for business or leisure?"
Alice says, "It was for business, but they did enjoy their time here!"
"What kind of work did they do here?" The receptionist asks, and Emily says, "They are both scientists. They studied at the Pokemon Research Institute in Ceolis for a while."
"I hope their research is going well! They must have been really dedicated to getting into the Pokemon Research Institute. But now we'll discuss your vacation plans. You may be aware of some of our main attractions, like Classic Park and the Sea Star Society?"
"We've heard of them, and we're definitely going to visit them! We'd like to see as much of the region as we can!" Alice says.
"That's fantastic! If you happen to be trainers, there's also the Ceolis League you should try out. There is a gym here actually in Virima City, though it might not be open yet at this time of day."
"Oh man..." Ash frowns.
"The leader, Jim, uses his house as his gym, and he cleans it every morning before accepting challenges." The receptionist says.
"We do have our Pokemon, but today was our first actual battle. I wouldn't mind trying out the league. The battle we had is very fun, so I think it'd add some flavor into our vacation."
"But I am not interested in battles...I just want to see more cute Pokemon." Alice says.
"If you are going to be capturing Pokemon and challenging the gyms, we have something that might help you stay organized!"
Emily and Alice are given the Pokedex, while Ash refuses since he has a Rotom Phone. They also get five Pokeballs each for capturing new Pokemon.
"Thank you so much!" Emily says.
"Oh, um...I think I might have messed up." The receptionist says.
"Messed up? But you've been very helpful and polite!" Emily asks in confusion.
"It slipped my mind, but we're actually waiting on our next shipments of Pokedexes from the Pokemon Research Institute. I think that the Pokedexes I gave you two might be the ones that were "hacked" by Isabelle."
"Who is Isabelle?" Ash asks.
"Isabelle is our Psychic Type Gym Leader, and she has illusionist abilities. On top of that, she has a spontaneous personality. With some of the Pokedexes, she edited the descriptions to random words and phrases. I keep some on hand because they're entertaining to read. But I didn't mean to give you those, and I can't give you a standard-issue one right now...unless you want to keep the ones you have?"
"This Pokedex is okay with me. We can still learn about our Pokemon by being with them, and it's like a unique Ceolis-brand Pokedex." Emily says, but Alice has different opinions, Ash notices her face and he says, "In that case, how about you travel with me? Since you know about this region while I don't. I am sure we can help each other out."
Alice blushes again as Ash Ketchum is asking her to come with him on the journey. Emily says, "That's great, Alice. You get to be with your idol."
Alice almost faints and the receptionist coughs, "You're definitely right about that. I hope you meet and befriend a lot of Pokemon here in Ceolis."
"Thank you, we'll do our best." Ash says.
Emily says, "So Ash, if you are challenging the league as I do, then our league challenge officially starts now. I'm going to look around Virima while waiting for the gym to open!"
After she leaves, Alice turns to Ash and says, "Um...it is nice to be traveling partners with you...I want to learn more about Pokemon with you by my side."
"No need to be shy around me." Ash says with a smile. "We're friends and we will help each other out."
Alice can only nod as they leave the Tourist Center.
And here is the first chapter of the story, I decided to go with Ash who faked his death plot, and Ash and Alice will be using one Pokemon for each type. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be introducing sisters from the enemy team.
