It once bore numerous names, Terra, Gaia, Tellus, Earth, Tonantzin, Geb, Jörð, Pachamama, and many more across thousands of cultures ever since the dawn of mankind. But now, to the modern world, it is know as Earth, the third planet in the hierarchy before the Sun, and the only world that is capable of providing any lifeforms in the Solar System. While have many unique properties compared to many planets in the galaxy, Earth was certainly not a special world or possessed any sort of'one-of-a-kind' privilege, and yet, it cannot be denied that for the past decades in the twenty-first century, extraordinary events had occurred, forever changed the history of mankind, thanks to a group of people.

To the government, they are know as metahumans, to the bigot and racist, they are know as mutants and freaks, to certain organizations and cults, they are know as Gods manifested in man form, but to the public, they are know as superheroes. They are those who can achieve things that not any normal man could have done, whether in physical or spiritually. They stood above the rest, became the guiding beacon, the light to shine humanity's path for a better future, perhaps. And yet, not all of them are ultimate beings with out-of-the-world abilities, some are humans, standing atop of all humans at a peak specimen, but still humans nonetheless.

Now, Earth has witnessed more changes than ever since the Second World War. However, following the emergence of the Justice League, the greatest superhero organization ever existed on the planet for almost three decades, powerful super-villains also appeared and had almost become a common knowledge toward the public. Despite the rapid improvement for the world's military, with new forms of weapons being developed and tested every day, a bright future seems to just shine right on the horizon for Earth.

Very few wars ever escalated, and many more had been achieved by great peace, temporarily at least, reduced to bloodshed that had been inflicted onto certain nations since the Cold War. As Earth became more united toward common goods, with the help of superheroes on the way, helping humanity reach unattainable goals, the threats from outer space became ever more real. Aliens, once thought as something that could only be seen in science fiction books and comics, now became reality in the new era. In fact, one of the greatest superheroes ever exists, Superman, is an alien from a long-gone planet, Krypton. He had always been the symbol of hope and justice for the people of the world. But ever since his arrival, mankind now understands that for a man with such a heart like Superman to protect this world, there will be countless other beings that do not share the same belief and thinking. History had proved them right.

From the less-than-friendly visit of the near-unkillable monster Doomsday on Metropolis twenty-three years ago, then the brutal invasion of the super AI Brainiac who wished to obtained cities on Earth into his interstellar collection, to the sudden attacks by a powerful armada led by the megalomania Kryptonian General Dru-Zod, and many mores for the last decades. Yet, the Justice League stands strong against all forces that wished to annihilate or conquer this world.

For almost five years, peace and order had truly returned to the society, with fewer villain attacks, giving the superheroes more room to breathe, and their task now mostly lies with humanitarian aid and assisting in restoring nature across the world. Once again, a new dream was hatched into the new generation, a dream of prosperity and peace after years of mindless wars for domination. A dream that once believed to be impossible to obtain now can be seen across the horizon, by virtue of the Justice League.

The Justice League, a small organization of superheroes with an unrivaled reputation, was formed nearly thirty years ago after the invasion of the Apokoliptian general Steppenwolf in New York. Initially, there were only eight members, the 'founding fathers of the League, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Martian Manhunters. Some of them were men, others were gods.

Superman, the First of the First, the greatest superhero ever know, and the most powerful beings on this planet (at least to the knowledge of the public). He was the first alien that came to Earth and resided on this green planet for over thirty years. He was humble but decisive, he was powerful but had little ambitions for power, he was mighty but let compassion guide his action. He stands above all of the others but never takes the steps that would put him at that position. Despite the US government continuing to put Superman as the representative of 'Truth, Justice and the American way', the hero never truly considered himself as a friend of the system, but rather to the people of the world as a whole. He was human, maybe even more than some humans that ever lived.

Batman, the other side of the same coin, the world's greatest detective, the man who stood between the line of legends and reality. To the governments, he was the most dangerous human on Earth, to the criminals and scums of society, he was the demon manifested in their shadow and dreams, hunting for the wickedness every night, but to many other superheroes, he was a man, a mortal man that guide by nothing but conviction and sheer will powers. It is not strange to the public that when compared to Superman, Batman's range of operation is often limited to Gotham - the second largest city in America and the seventh largest city in the world - but that hardly means International jurisdiction would hinder him if the criminal decided to escape abroad. Perhaps,people still considered him a monster, but he is only the monster to those who do wrong to the innocents.

Wonder Woman, Princess Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Zeus and Hippolyta, the greatest Amazon ever lived. She was the first superhero in the chronology of superheroes. As one of the founding members of the Justice League, her strength knows no bounds, only second after Superman of all heroes. Her existence had proven to the world that the world supernaturals truly existed, hidden from the world of Man. While much has been revealed about the Greek Gods, there are still many other questions that even Diana cannot answer due to her sheltered life. However, at the same time, because of that, Diana had been banished by the Gods from Themyscira and now resided in the World of Men for over a century.

The Flash, the Fastest Man Alive, the Scarlet Speedster, the Human Whirlwind, the Crimson Comet, can be seen as one the fastest beings that ever know, even according to the Justice League data records which had collected countless information about all villains and heroes alike. Some said he is as fast as the swiftest jet ever built, others said he is as fast as lightning itself, and some even said that he is faster than the speed of light. No one know for sure how exactly fast the Flash is, at least not to the public's knowledge. Perhaps he is all of the combined or something else entirely. Despite having the capability to protect the world in mere minutes to seconds, the Flash favorite's city seems to be Central City, one of the most technologically advanced megalopolis that the world had ever seen.

Green Lantern, the 'Space Cop', the Emerald Knight, the Ring Slinger, the Galactic Guardian to the world, but to his friends in the League, he is Hal Jordan, one of many human Green Lanterns that had served in the Corp. While he may not be the strongest like John Stewart, nor the most calm-head like Kyle Rayner, or even particularly imaginative like Jessica Cruz, but his sheer grit had earned him the title as 'one of the strongest Green Lantern ever lived', through both of his achievements at a personal level and when he fought together with the Justice League.

Aquaman, the King of Atlantis, the Half-Breed son of Queen Atlanta, the Bridge between the sea and the surface world. A Human-Atlantean hybrid, Aquaman had fought with the Justice League since the First Invasion of the Seven Sea Alliance, led by Ocean Master himself. He is a being that was born from a love that never meant to happen, he is a creature that is a taboo to Atlantis itself, but in the end, he is the hero, one of the greatest heroes humanity ever hoped to have. Years ago, he was also once the King of Atlantis but had grown disillusioned with the old noble system as well as its people and left, returning to the surface world.

Last but not least, Martian Manhunter, J'onn J'onzz, Jon of Mars, Jon the Martian, the Last Green Martian, is the oldest founding member of the Justice League. As old as the dawn of humankind, when the first primate ever walked on Earth, Mars was a civilization like nothing else in the Solar System. Yet, ravaged by constant wars and civil conflicts, the once beautiful planet now had become a death world, with no past of the Martians left, completely erased or buried by the sands of war. As the White Martian disappeared into the darkness and the Green Martian completely extinct, J'onn J'onzz was the last of his kind, hiding and hibernating on Earth for millennia, rarely waking up to assist humanity. Now, with the Justice League, the Last Son of Mars has become more active than ever.

Years after years, some heroes retired, others sacrificed themselves in the line of services, but at the same time, new faces, a young generation of superheroes, were recruited into the League as the Justice League began to expand in terms of size and complexity. However, perhaps deep in most child and adult's minds, the 'Original' will always remain the brightest light to steer mankind out of the cycle of needless bloodshed.

Japan - Kuoh

Rias Gremory - daughter of Zeoticus and Venelana Gremory, the heiress of the Gremory Clan, and younger sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, leader the Four Great Satans - set her pen down as she glanced at the piece of paper on her table. The paperwork, most of them are just reports to the Underworld, were simple and straightforward but very much vexing due the sheer numbers of forms that she must sign.

A new school year had just started almost a month ago, and the number of male students enrolled here had almost tripled compared to the last year due to a policy change for Kuoh Academy. For over a decade, Kuoh had always carried a disproportionate ratio between females and males students where the number of female students completely outnumbered male students, sometimes ten-to-one in certain terms. However, the school board has decided to revolutionize the traditional path that this academy had always followed, hoping for a wider demographic of students and increased the school's already considerable fame toward the entire Japan.

Of course, many male students' decision for applying into the school is considered as less than … acceptable in ethics and morals which have brought not-so-small level of troubles for other students. This only slipped down even further through the aggressive behavior of female students. However, such an issue would be a topic for another day. Now, it is the time for Rias to make a choice, to gain a new powerful member for her peerage and in hope that with the new additional force, she will have the chance to escape the affair that she never wanted to tangle with in the first place.

Picking up the piece of paper on her side, Rias once again examined its. The content on its revealed to be an application file from a foreign student, from the United States of America of all places. Yet, this paper is merely a secondary source of information that she obtained, compared to a folder under the table, which contained months-long investigation of this student. This latest individual had sparked her interest, and not just because of his nationality.

Jonathan Samuel Lane-Kent, also goes by the name 'Issei' - as a nickname - in Japanese according to his student record, was somewhat of an enigma. Issei is a new student who just moved into the second year of high-school in Kuoh Academy. And yet, he had already gained the attention from the Student Council President, Sona Sitri, who is also Rias's fellow High-class Devil.

The boy was just one year younger than her. The way he gazes at the camera for the picture is innocent and perhaps even somewhat child-like, emphasized more by the messy raven hair that indicated the boy is someone who mostly does not care much for their appearance. Akeno Himejima, her Queen, even commented on some of his features as being … cute. Yet, betrayed by his naive and country bumpkin looks, his yale blue eyes, behind a pair of old glasses, seemed to tell her that he had know more than being a normal person. Maybe Sona's theory was correct, the boy may have been in contact with something that is not considered ordinary by human's standard, maybe the supernatural world themselves.

Still, his academic background is not something to be taken lightly, Jonathan Kent had lived in Metropolis, the fourth largest city in North America, for nearly ten years before moving to London and resided there for several more years. On both accounts, the boy had attended the West-Reeve Private School and the Kepler-Wegener Junior High School, both were know as the 'cream-of-the-top' by international academic standards, and both, curiously, are heavily funded by the Wayne Foundation. While his overall grade is average, it is still an achievement to even study in a college-like environment from these prestigious schools.

The boy's parents were not some ordinary people but they were not someone too extraordinary either. His father, Clark Joseph Kent, is among the very few journalists who was know for being able to cover the current Civil War in Kahndaq, one of the most ancient cities that have a deep connection to primordial magic. His mother, Lois Lane-Kent, is a Pulitzer-prize winning investigative journalist and one of the first humans that ever have close contact with exterrestrial forces.

Rias slightly snorted at that word, 'exterrestrial', or alien by the public, once believed to be some nonsensical concept invented by humans. Now, times had changed, sudden and fast like a flood came down on a village, mankind used to depend on the blessing of Gods and Biblical Factions for thousands of years, but now, with the progress of technology and surfacing of superheroes, humanity now had their own Gods, their own champions, their own warriors, far more powerful than anyone could imagine.

Such news brought awe, excitement, and concern to many Devils in the Underworld. Some worried that humans will become stronger than even the Three Factions, others admired and respected the new step that humans had taken, separated themselves from Gods and other supernaturals forces, and some even held nothing toward such revelations, continue to believed in the idea that even with the arrival of the metahumans, the Devils will always be a superior race compared to humans.

However, despite all of the heiress's curiosity for the newcomer, it had to be postpone as her primary goal currently lies with Matsuda Hyoudou, a member of what is know as the 'Perverted Duo', two most perverted students of Kuoh Academy who commit lecherous acts to the female students. Her Rook, Koneko Toujou, had reported that Matsuda had the scent of a dragon. In supernatural worlds, dragons were one of the most powerful creatures ever to exist, notoriously know for their immense powers, burning ambitions and enormous growth potential.

On these accounts, it is very likely that Matsuda possessed a Sacred Gear, gifts from the Biblical Gods for humanity, perhaps a rare dragon-type or have some form of dragon-based capability. However, the identity of gear is very much unknown and that 'what' is something that Rias had to put her trust on. Nonetheless, for a … simple mind boy like Matsuda, recruiting him into her peerage should not be much of an obstacle.

Moreover, Matsuda was one of the few acquaintances of Johnathan Kent in the school. While the relationship between the pervert and the foreign student is not exactly for someone to be defined as 'friend', there are rumors that Jonathan did hang out with Matsuda in the nearby arcade after school every weekend. Rias hummed, if she could put up a positive bond with Matsuda, there is a chance that she could find out more about Issei through the perverted boy.

As Jon Kent - now escaped from the Kuoh uniform and dressed in a more casual outfit that consisted of aqua-coloured cotton full zip jacket, a plain shirt, in darker blue, underneath, a pair of grey jeans, and old bright red shoes that he had for birthday since eight grade - strode down the old dirt road, with a bag of goods in his hand, the moonlight shimmered through the trees and a brief breeze of wind blowing through his cheek.

Today was a clear night with no clouds whatsoever, and the park that he decided to take as the shortcut every weekend sank in the sea of silence. It was odd, but he paid no mind to it, after all, 'things' - minor details that occurred in everyone's daily life and yet remained under one's awareness - will become a strange concept, a foreign sight, when they flow back into that person's radar. Sometimes, it is as if one realized that the world is changing around them, even though it had always been.

Jonathan Kent had finally found his 'break', the break from the seemingly infinite school works that fell onto his head for almost a month ever since he first moved to this town. The nature of Japanese and its history as a language that Johnathan could never truly comprehend, to write down every word, every letter, every sentence was a daunting task, even more than investigating super villain secret lair with Damien Wayne in his younger years.

While most of the class materials is relative tame compared to his old academies, it is the gap of language that had put Johnathan under a great deal of struggle and only with a butt-ton amount of willpower - something he never though he have - that the son of Superman was able to at least catch up with the school works. Perhaps the only thing that kept him sane after all these weeks was the delicious strawberry pocky that he bought from the nearby convenience store every Wednesday's night.

"Now I really wish that Damien was here … could really need that mini-batman brain of him." Jon sighed to himself.

All of the sudden, from the corner of his vision, Jonathan quickly noticed something, behind the giant tree lines. Two recognizable figures standing at the center of the park, next to the old fountain. It was Matsuda, and an unknown girl, who dressed in a very … questionable outfit.

"Who is that girl? … wait, isn't that the same girl who asked Matsuda to go out two days ago? Hmm, what is her name again? … Yammi?... no, wait, Yummi?... I don't think so, Yammo? … that's not right … Yumma? … yeah, Yuuma." the son of Superman narrowed his eyes, something is seriously wrong here. Then, he heard its.

"... Will you die for me?"

Despite the distance, his super-hearing had catched those words well. The girl had spoken those words as if they're just mundane things for one to say casually, or worse, some kinds of sick enjoyment.

Materialized on Yuuma's hand is a four-foot long jagged crimson spear, illuminated by a fainted light. Matsuda, on the other hand, already collapsed to the ground, his face petrified with fear. However, the most noticeable aspect for Jon was a pair of jet black wings on Yuuma's back.

Jon had met all kinds of aliens and metahumans during his entire lifetime, but having such a pair of raven wings like Yuuma is not something he saw everyday. At first, the girl reminded him of Miss Shayera, a good friend of his parents, but then again, her wings resembled an angel more with enormous proportional size compared to her body and cloaked in milk-white colour. Could Yumma be another test subject of Cadmus, like his so-called 'brother' Connor Kent? Another metahumans? Or something else entirely?

However, he could clearly see her wicked smile, her sadistic eyes when she gazed at Matsuda already told Jon enough about her malicious intention. As her spear began to thrust toward the pervert boy's stomach, time almost came to a stop for Jon. The hybrid Kryptonian wasted no time. His paper bag was swiftly thrown to the side, hidden inside one of the shrub bushes. His body dashed forwards, crossed through hundreds of meters in nanoseconds and broke the sounds barrier instantly.

For Raynare, this supposedly 'easier than handing a roll of duct tape' task quickly turned south. Something, no, someone, blurred right before her. She never saw its coming. In the next split second, she recognized his face. It was the foreign student, Jonathan Kent, also goes by the name 'Issei'.

Her spear never found its target as it was completely halted by the foreign boy's palm. His fingers gripped around the tip tightly, cracking the weapon as if it was just a mere toy. His eyes stared straight at her.

Amano Yuuma, the alias that was taken by the Fallen Angel Raynare, gritted her teeth. She tried to press more strength to push the spear forward, but the weapon remained strong in Jon's hold. Then she tried to pull its back, but the results were the same.

"I don't know who you are but no one is gonna die on my watch." the son of Superman glowered.

"... W-What?" was the only word Raynare could mutter, completely taken by surprise by this revelation.

With no hesitation, the boy shoved his hand forward before Raynare could even react, delivering a swift palm strike straight toward the Fallen Angel's chest. There was a boom, loud enough to alert anyone who was still in the park, followed by a devastated force, powerful enough to throw Raynare back like a weightless feather.

Her body crashed through the fountain, before stopping by a nearby tree. She let out a soundless scream of pain as saliva flew out of her mouth. If she was just a normal human, her ribs may have broken already. Despite no serious injuries, the physical trauma was more than to put the Fallen Angel down.

Jon waited for a few more seconds, expecting Raynare's respond. Her eyes turned white as she collapsed, face-downed, onto the hard ground, giving him the signs that she had fallen unconscious. The hybrid boy turned around to check Matsuda.

"Hey, are you alri-?"

However, much to Jon's confusement, Matsuda simply stood there. The recently froze-in-terror boy face does not express anything beside a stoic gaze. His body seemingly locked in place, as if every atom in his body was trapped down.

Jonathan furrowed his brow, he glanced around at first, using his super sensing to examine if there is an outside factor that is responsible for this strange behavior before waving his hand in front of Matsuda.

"Hello, anyone home? Is anybody in there? … Matsuda … " he even snapped his fingers a few times near the boy's ears but to no avail

All of a sudden, a ripple of space and times vibrated throughout the air, alerting Jon of a portal that just materialized behind him. The Son of Superman spun around immediately, prepared for a battle. However, much to his surprise and somewhat delight, a very familiar individual emerged from the golden magical vortex. The man, identified by his body shape, clad in a thick blue leather suit, protected by numerous powerful magical seals that carved onto its. He wore a very iconic golden helmet, made from an unknown metal through a traditional but forgotten method by the ancient people. Alongside his golden gloves and boots, the man bears various ornaments on his torso, neck, and arms, where each of them served a particular magical purpose, mostly to aid him in battles.

Jonathan immediately recognized that figure, it was none other than Doctor Fate, one of the most powerful allies that had assisted the Justice League in many battles against dangerous magical foes and an honorary member for the Justice League Dark. However, to him personally, the man behind the helmet was Kent Nelson, one of his father's good friends, at least before the Helmet of Nabu completely took over him.

{*Jonathan Samuel Lane-Kent.*} Doctor Fate greeted, his voice was like thunder echoed inside Jon's brain, low and deep but carried great authority.{*Do not fret, it is the will of Nabu to put this boy under the law of times. He will be in that state till our matters resolve.*}

"... Mr Nelson?"

{*Kent Nelson is currently merged with me. You may call me Doctor Fate.*} the man in Golden Helmet said {*I've detected an anomaly in this reality and it is utmost essential to stop this droplet of Chaos before it infected the world of Order.*}

"Okay… ? So what is this Chaos you're talking about?"

{*Him*}

"Wait, what?!" Jon turned his attention back to the still-frozen Matsuda "He doesn't look like a bad guy much to me."

{*No, the boy himself is insignificant to the Order of this reality.*} Doctor Fate shook his head {*However, the weapon inside him is. A powerful and living tool that can threaten this Earth if it falls into the wrong hand. That Gear is what I'm concerned with, not its host.*}

"... So this guy is the 'wrong hand'?"

{*The Lord of Order had spoken, this child was never supposed to bear such a weapon in the first place. Throughout the multiverse, his ties to this tool is an anomaly to the law of fate, a dangerous threat that needs to be neutralized.*}

" … Are you planning to kill him?" Jonathan questioned, arms crossed. His body subtly moved toward Fate, becoming the barrier between Matsuda and the Doctor. The man quickly noticed these actions, but calmly replied.

{*No, resorting to such a path is redundant. What I seek is the weapon inside him, not his life. By extracting the Gear from the boy's soul, Order will be restored. He shall return to his mundane life, and become another part of this world's society once again.*}

"... Alright, I trust you on this one, Doctor." the Kryptonian hybrid replied before gesturing to the still-knockout Raynare "So, what about her? Are you gonna fix her up as well?"

{*She is a fallen angel, such is her nature. I see no reason to provide her any aid as her wounds are nowhere near fatal.*}

"Wait … so she's not a metahumans or some aliens secretly hiding on Earth?" Jon tilted his head in confusion.

{*No, as I've stated, this woman is a fallen angel, one of the Three Great Powers that were created by the God of the Bible. To understand the supernatural is to seek knowledge of a vast world that does not operate on any normal means, supernatural activities had always been strong on Earth, yet remained in the ignorance of many.*} the agent of the Lord of Order explained{*However, for this matter, it would be the best course of action to alter her recollection of this event. This fallen angel will recall the event very differently to what occurred today. She shall not become a threat to the boy anymore.*}

"Alright, seems like a sound plan. Let's get this wrap up before any bystander catches me." the hybrid Kryptonian nodded in agreement.

As the good Doctor began the extraction process, Jonathan stood on the sideline, musing of what just transpired tonight. It was a little surreal, even for a boy that had fought beings that were already far beyond the knowledge of current human science and people, either with the intellect or strength, that could not be considered as 'ordinary' in any shape or form. However, like his father, Jonathan was never a big fan of mythical things or anything related to its, fighting against them almost became a chore sometimes.

"So those supernatural stuff from the Bible is real after all. Huh, I shouldn't be surprised at this point, if Miss Diana and the Greek Gods exist, then the angels, devils, and fallen angels being real is very much a possibility … I never truly think I'm gonna contact these kinds of things that soon."

{*My task here is completed. By the will of Kent Nelson, I shall bring this child back to his home. I suggested you do the same thing before the fallen angel, it would greatly reduce the complication that may be caused on the chain of fate.*}Doctor Fate spoke up, bringing Jon out of his deep thinking.

"Sure, just let me get my stu-" suddenly, Jon's gaze turned down, and noticed something under his feet, a small pamphlet with an unfamiliar seal upon the center "Huh? hang on ... what is this? Some kind of ritual paper?"

{*That is a summoning seal, it is use to call upon Devils who connected to this piece of paper. By establishing a special contract between both parties, the Devil will fulfill whatever wishes the client desires, but in return, the Devils must be rewarded. Those who held great wealth or high position may offer high-quality reward to the Devils that they summon.*} Fate said, pulling the paper from Jon's grasp into his hand {*Those who have the summoning seal must have contacted the Devils prior, or held some form of knowledge about them, or had become a target for the Devils who resided in the area. However, in this boy case, their intention of giving him this summoning seal is not based on malice.*}

"How do you know they are not evil?" the Son of Superman inquired

{*Nabu has given me the sights to foresee this event and those who related to its. Nevertheless, it would be the best course of action for me to destroy this seal in order to prevent the Devils from knowing what occurred here.*} the Doctor answered, with a small gesture from his fingers, the paper was lighted up was completely consumed in a golden flames, turned it into nothing but dust in the winds {*It is done. My time is up, Jonathan Samuel Lane-Kent. The balance among the cosmos requires my attention, I must bid you farewell.*}

"Sure, see you later, Doc."

However, as Kent Nelson slowly approached the golden portal he had opened, the magician gave Jon one last looks, delivered the final cryptic warning for the Son of Superman.
{*You're your father son, Jonathan Kent. Many friends, but many enemies as well. The world of supernaturals will come for you. As you have fought against those from the stars, now be prepared to fight against those coming from beneath the earth.*}

"Huh … what was that about?" the Kryptonian scratched his head, confused by such statements but quickly brushed them aside, for now.

Jonathan let his eyes lingered at the broken fountain and Raynare for a few more seconds after Doctor Fate took his leave, before disappearing from the 'crime scene' as a faint blur.

Few hours ago

The sun had begun to set down from the horizon as the yellow evening sky turned dark. The final bell had rung an hour ago, many students already either returned home or hung out with each other for any after-school activities. Rias still remained, standing on the second floor of the schoolhouse, which is also the secret homebase of the Occult Research Club. Her teal eyes stared through the old window, at the gate from afar where the remaining students started to take their leave as well.

The news of Matsuda Hyoudou having a new girlfriend, a girl called Amano Yuuma from a neighboring school, had been spreading like wildfire for the past two days. Many whispered, others openly discussed this subject as if a great calamity just fell upon the world. While Rias believed that everyone has been a little overrated to such revelation, she does admit that a boy like Matsuda obtaining a girlfriend like that is all too but a simple coincidence.

Almost a week ago, her Rook Koneko had already reported that there are scents of Fallen Angel in the town, and these Angels seemingly make no attempts to let themselves be known here. Now, an unknown girl came out of nowhere just to date a boy with a less-than-good reputation like Matsuda which certainly makes a very shady situation.

With more investigation, Rias now understands that there is no Amano Yuuma. Whatever her real name is, this woman is certainly a Fallen Angel. Rias let out a tired sigh, she regretted letting the situation descended down to this. She should have confronted them much sooner. Now the Fallen Angel is aiming at Matsuda, no doubt for his Sacred Gear.

But what could happen has already happened, and there is point looking back any longer. Rias must reveal herself to the boy tomorrow or perhaps Friday this week at worst. Time is not on her side and she would be damned if she let the Fallen Angel to play around on her territory any longer. Still, she must approach this with great caution unless she wishes for a second Great War which would certainly spell doom for the Devils as a whole.

[OsO]

"Mom, I'm home…."

There was no reply, just as he expected. After all, Lois Lane is currently in one of the newly built 'Alpha-Six' Venus station, a scientific achievement through the joint efforts of the world governments in expanding humanity's horizon, to conduct extensive reports on a renewable energy research project by a joint venture of Wayne Enterprise and S.T.A.R Labs. It is simply his force of habit to speak those words out whenever he gets home.

Through his super-speed, Jonathan quickly put the goods into the fridge and closet before swooping upstairs, where his bedroom is located. The moment the door closed, the boy collapsed onto the bed, feeling quite exhausted for this week due to the ridiculous amount of homeworks that he had to bear through. Even for all of the Kryptonian DNA that he inherited from his father, it seems he has a more 'human-like' brain from his mom's side. Sometimes Jon has to admit that fighting bad guys is easier than doing Homeworks.

Yet, much to the Son of Superman's irritation, his phone silently vibrated on the table, notified him of several missing messages, both from the 'workplace' and some of his old high school friends. With a tired getsure, he grabbed the phone and gazed at the first post on the screen, which already screamed trouble.

Best Bud: Titans Tower. Emergency Meeting. Now.

The Kryptonian hybrid simply groaned in frustration before took off his clothes, alongside his glasses, and put them on the nearby coffee table, changing into his 'super-suit 'in mere seconds.

Like his father, the costume was a mix between steel blue and aqua with bright crimson cape. Proudly bearing on his chest is the inocnic S-shaped House of El glyphed in red and yellow, made of composite lead and titanium nanite with purpose to stop any Kryptonite-based attack. On his wrists were two Rhino-colour Kryptonian cuffs, capable of warping space-time and creating a pocket dimension, which served as a small storage space but Jonathan rarely use them. Two red streaks ran across his upper shoulder, connecting the red piping collar. Two more, vertical this time, could be spotted down on his hip's side, almost reaching his knees, and over the yellow belt. His boots too were tinted with scarlet red. Overall, compared to the more skinsuit-like appearance of his father, Jonathan's outfit resembled a closed-tight armour made of chainmail.

The boy quickly climbed onto the roof, not without taking a quick gaze on the street to ensure no one had seen him before slightly crouching down.

"Alright, full speed!"

With that, he took off to the sky like a jet fighter, slightly cracked the bricks and disappeared into the clouds in seconds. However, unknown to Jon, from a tree not far away, a mysterious black cat - hidden through mysterious means - had observed all of these actions since the beginning. With her task now completed, the cat leapt down from the branch and vanished without a trace.
