With Kazuma choosing to move to the great beyond after dying one to many times, Eris finally obliges, however what Kazuma didn't know was that he was destined to be sent to Hell, and to make things just interesting for Kazuma's predicament, he's going to Hell with no one else but Aqua, as they're force to travel Route 66 to make it to the capital of Hell and face Satan himself.

From Heathen to Hero

He wanted a quick escape, in fact that's something his generation as a whole wanted.

A quick escape, an easy way out, or even cheating your way from this cruel unforgiving world.

While Kazuma found solace to the fact he found an easy way out from dealing with his school and social life by becoming a NEET, he knew that in the long road, it be anything but easy when it came to face reality again.

And reality hit him when he died and was sent to limbo amongst the afterlife realm and when he first met Aqua.

From there on, the story became well known, his early days spent in Axis, his first real quest was anything but a success, and how at some point down the line he met with Megumin and Darkness.

All of them were arguably beautiful woman, but at the cost of having a trait that was regarded as such a major turn off that it not only affected his social life, but his reputation as he was suppose to face the Demon Lord.

At some point, he gave up on it, gave up on facing the Demon Lord, even though his victories against his generals were a 100% successful, paying off his piling debt accumulated by his party members, even though he was a billionaire with connections to royalty, but overall dealing with his party members, especially Aqua.

So once again, he was left face to face with Eris, the woman he considered to be his true heroine, his partner in crime as thieves, and the goddess he wished was stuck with him during his time in this anything but wonderful world.

"Um, hello Kazuma, welcome back" said Eris meekly as honestly there's never an appropriate greeting method, when the person who's lived and died and lived again so many times to count, since well death is anything but pleasant, even for a regular.

"Sigh, hello" said Kazuma as he was upset and embarrassed for dying in the way he did this time around.

How'd he died you may have asked, was it drowning after saving a child, sacrificing his life to lead an army of the dead to jump off a cliff, getting killed by a worthy adversary.

Nope, none of that, he got himself killed because his party walked into a camp of bandits and maniacs, and while he did have a full proof plan, it was ruined because the one time Darkness, known for not being able to hit her damn target, managed to destroy a support beam to their camp.

From there, the group ran for the exit, and were successful in running for their lives, though so did some of the bandits.

From their Megumin had finished her incantation, and layed an explosion that was too close for comfort, but nobody died yet.

Then came Aqua, who had to jinx the situation by commenting that 'this is the part where you were suppose to die' towards Kazuma.

Upset and after berating her and pulling her cheeks, Kazuma began to angrily walk away, not being aware of the rock that caused him to trip and landed on top of a cactus.

It hurt like that when Kazuma yelped and shot up in pain, he stumbled his way to a low branch tree, and ran head first into a hornet's nest.

As he was being stung, he ended up tripping and drowning himself to death, in about 3 inches worth of water.

So the fact he died in a manner that if he was a Looney Tunes character, he would've bounced right back up, but since he wasn't his cause of death was a mixture of drowning, hornets stings, and being stabbed by a cactus and it was all Aqua's fault.

"So how are you feeling" asked Eris as Kazuma still kept his head down as he unintentionally made the situation more and more uncomfortable for the junior goddess.

"You know what, I told myself that the next time I die that I was going to stay dead about 10 deaths ago" began Kazuma as there was no sense of joking or teasing in his voice.

"So do me a favor, tell Aqua and everyone above that I'm sorry, but I'm ready to go to heaven or be reborn with a cute younger stepsister and a hot older stepsister" said Kazuma.

"Kazuma, please I think you should really reconsider" began Eris but Kazuma looked at her with dead serious soulless eyes.

"On any other given death, I would've said yes, but please put me out of my misery" said Kazuma as he didn't want to hear her reason for not going through with his actions.

"Kazuma" Eris said weakly as she knew that he wasn't going to listen or change his mind, no matter what he heard.

"Very well Kazuma, I had hoped that this would've never happened, just know that people will miss you and that I'll be praying for your well being and Aqua-Senpai" said Eris.

Not thinking much, Kazuma was ready to be sent to live much deserved peaceful boring afterlife in heaven, or at the very least be reborn as the biggest douche to society that he has so much power and money that he could literally swim in a sea of tig ol' bitties that he could honestly give a rats ass.

"So any chances I can still have the very minimum of a cute younger sister" asked Kazuma with a smile before noticing that Eris wasn't here, nor was he in the same room as before.

In fact the room was a lot more darker, covered in smoke and fog as the temperature gradually began to get colder.

"What the hell is going on" asked a scared Kazuma before he felt the touch of cold boney hands on his shoulder.

Turning his head around he saw death itself as their vacant stare looked within Kazuma's very soul.

"Before you're banishment to hell, you're missing one important thing on you" said death as they had the voice of a creepy old lady.

Hearing the scream of an all too familiar voice Kazuma's eyes widen more in horror as Aqua came falling and crashing herself on top of Kazuma.

"Now that you're both here, it's time for me to bid you both goodbye" said Death as Kazuma was ready to protest that his time in another world was hellish enough as it is with Aqua.

"You can' do this to me, it's not my fault that this shut in NEET wants to go to hell, please this has to be a mistake" cried Aqua.

"There's no mistake Aqua, when Kazuma chose you as his property when reborn in another world, you became his until he defeated the Demon Lord or otherwise" explained Death as Kazuma was regretting his every decision from his existence.

No words were shared before a fiery hole appeared below them as both Kazuma and Aqua screamed for their lives.

Time Skip

Waking up, Kazuma and Aqua found themselves laying on destroyed asphalt as standing a few feet ahead of them was road sign that read 'Route 66'.

"Aqua" Kazuma said wearily as both were getting their footing back together, and just in time as Kazuma pulled Aqua off the road of an incoming car and not a tractor.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "That was a car we just saw, right" "Ok so I wasn't going insane since that whole tractor incident".

Standing there for a moment, they were surprise that in spite of this burning atmosphere and barren wasteland that was presented as Hell, there were roads and even vehicles present.

"We should probably follow where this road leads us too" said Kazuma, "Now hold on, I'm a goddess that's stuck in Hell, we should probably stay away from where civilizations are, or did you forget" whined Aqua.

"Honestly I kinda did" stated Kazuma, "So rude" cried Aqua as they both continued to walk the roads.

"Look, I've no idea what's in store for us, but if there's cars or vehicles for that matter, than our safest bet in figuring out what to do is going wherever that car went ton and figure things out from there" explained Kazuma as Aqua pouted over his logic and merit.

Walking for about what felt like a mile in the heat, Kazuma was sure that he and Aqua would've passed out of dehydration at some point, if not for her being a water goddess.

While most of her abilities were changed if not substituted for different abilities including stuff she claimed she can do as a goddess before her full power was restricted when both were in another world, Kazuma was a different case.

He couldn't do anything, he couldn't steal, use create water himself, or anything like that since they came to hell.

In spite of feeling unsure of himself and how Aqua is the one with power now, Kazuma was none the less willing to face any to all dangers that may or may not afflict them ahead.

Eventually they came to the outskirts to a small town or better described the mixture of a large pit stop and a small scrap yard.

Cautiously making their way inside, Kazuma and Aqua were surprised that the locals were anything but human as they all varied in shapes and sizes, along with unusually large muscular physique, skin color ranging from, purple, orange, green, blue, and even white.

Soon the inhabitants took notice of the 2 as they hopped out their vehicles and pulled out various modern day weaponry, ranging from switch blades and 9mm pistols.

"Kazuma you stupid NEET I told you this was a bad idea" cried Aqua, "Yeah I'm sorry, but I don't think crying is going to help us" said Kazuma as these demi-demons began to charge at them.

One white skinned demon armed with nothing but a bullpen hammer charging towards Aqua and Kazuma, was brought down when the sound of gunshot put a hole in its chest, before dropping dead.

"Both of you, hide" came a voice from behind as it was another demon, though he sounded to be male as his skin was red as he wore black cargo pants, black bullet proof vest over a white long sleeved button up as he was responsible for killing the demi-demon.

He didn't held back as he switched between a plethora of fire arms to kill the demi-demons, and while some were proven to be tougher than others, he was none the less victorious.

Leaving nothing but dead bodies, spent shells, and oddly enough whenever he killed a demi-demon, money would spurt out and rain from their bodies.

Turning his head, he approached both Kazuma and Aqua as both were left awestruck over his impressive display of might.

"It seems we got some fast company" spoked the demon as he bent down to gather up the loot he deserved from his kill spree, "In my long life here in hell, I never once seen humans out this far from Kalliphonreeah, so tell me what brings you both here".

"Excuse you, but I just happen to be the Goddess of Water Aqua" Aqua said proudly as Kazuma looked at her with the same look where he knows shit is about to hit the fan because of her stupid big mouth.

"Ok that explains one of you, and you" asked the demon as his sights fell upon Kazuma who choked on his words.

"Oh him, he's a human, though specifically a perverted NEET and a greedy jerk ass" explained Aqua before she found her cheeks being pulled, "Damn it, couldn't you keep your stupid mouth shut already" Kazuma said angrily.

"Really now, if you're truly a human and a greedy one, than you and I have a thing in common" said the demon with a hearty laugh.

"But first allow me to introduce myself as Monet Gread, the Devil of Greed" said the devil with a million dollar smile.

"Wait, back up what do you mean the Devil of Greed" asked Kazuma, "You see here, with the ever staggering population of the human race, and their officially being a Satanic Church, Hell was starting to be a little too much to handle for Satan" explained Monet.

"So he hand selected the best of the best of us humans, who were willing to serve and enforce his rule, and granted us the title of Devil, but that of course caused some sort of uproar, by the older demons and lesser demi-demons, but hey it's a job I'm happy to do" explained Monet with a smile.

"Huh, you know what, I'm starting to believe that Hell itself probably isn't such a bad place" said Kazuma as Aqua went and performed God Blow on Kazuma, knocking him to the ground.

"What the hell was that for" demanded Kazuma angrily, "Don't be thinking you can go and turn to the dark side because of some demon saving us" ranted Aqua, "Devil actually" corrected Monet.

"Whatever, my point is I'm a goddess and there's no place better for me than back in the heavenly realms, so do something to get me back home" Aqua said as she strucked a nerve that Kazuma couldn't overlook.

"You know what, screw you, you stupid bitch, I didn't expect that even after I died and be sent to Hell, that you'd be dragged along with me like a curse" yelled back Kazuma.

"How dare you call my gracious self to be a curse, well from now on, don't expect any sort of holy divinity from me anymore" yelled back Aqua with an accusing finger.

"You know what, that's fine by me, so do me a favor and shove your gracious divinity and your finger right back up your ass" yelled Kazuma as the 2 continued to argue.

Feeling uncomfortable and having enough, Monet took his revolver and shot a round in the sky to get their attention.

"I swear, seeing you both arguing is quite embarrassing that I can't tell if you're both madly in love or sexually frustrated" said Monet, "I'd rather stick my dick in a fire ant hill" answered Kazuma without stuttering a word.

"My point of the matter is, I don't care, all I care about is getting inside for safety while we can" said Monet as Kazuma and Aqua ceased their bickering for the time being to enter the shoddy shack that was in front of them.

"So, now that we're inside who's hungry" asked Monet with a smile as he rested his arms as Kazuma helped set up a table as Aqua quickly took her seat.

"Anything that is remotely normal regular human food" answered Kazuma honestly, "Shakes, burgers, and fries coming right up" smiled Monet as he took out his smart phone and tapped in some digits.

Soon a green portal emerged on the counter top of Monet as it spat out the promised shakes, burgers, and fries, as he grabbed them and approach the duo.

"Alright, let's enjoy ourselves a well deserved dinner" smiled Monet as he was the first to eat his share of food.

Examining and checking the contents, Kazuma and Aqua found no dangers to the meal as it was your standard double patty cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce and tomato.

Grabbing the burger and taking about, both Kazuma and Aqua nearly let their food fall out of their mouth over how jaw dropping savory it was.

"Damn this is a good burger" said Kazuma as he went back and forth between eating his burger and fries, "Alright, I guess Hell knows a thing or 2 about cooking food" said Aqua begrudgingly as she sipped on her shake.

"Well here in hell, we pride ourselves to serve top quality food matching the quantity of our denizens, including fast food restaurants" Monet said as he enjoyed his meal at a brisk pace.

Once their bellies were satisfied, and Aqua learning to pipe down, Kazuma thought now would be a good time to chat with Monet.

"I got to know, why are you helping us, what's your angle" asked Kazuma as Monet only gave a smirk, "Truth be said, you 2 are the first pair of wild cards Hell has had in a long time, and I'm willing to bet that whatever journey befalls you 2 is definitely gonna change how things run around here" said Monet.

"With that said in mind, it would be smart to go forth and meet the big man himself" said Monet as this got Aqua's attention.

"You mean Satan right, the Devil" asked Kazuma to clarify, "The one and only" said Monet.

"Now hold on, I object" said Aqua as she shot up from her chair and slammed her hands on the table, "Oh jeez, what now" groaned Kazuma as he was readying himself another bitch fit.

"Hello~, I'm a goddess, and therefore have no business to see the Devil, if anything he should be getting his big red ass over here and worship me and treat me with respect" ranted Aqua.

"While you do have a valid argument, you have to remember that this whole land belongs to the Devil, so I'll ignore your rude behavior for now, cause if you were to cross paths with the other devils like me, they aren't so forgiving" warned Monet as he rested his hand on his gun.

"Please forgive her, she's not the smartest person in existence" said Kazuma as he and Monet ignored Aqua's cries of being butt hurt.

"So wait why should we go see Satan, I'm curious" asked Kazuma, "Well you don't have to, by all means you and your goddess friend here could stay here, but be warned that staying in one spot, alongside a goddess, will only attract the attention of lesser demons and demi-demons, with the intent of killing her" Monet said pointing towards Aqua.

"Why me" asked a startled Aqua, "Think about, the man who rules this land runs it under the guise and rule that we toss out the bullshit foundations of the 3 major religions, without causing an uproar, so should any of these demons were to kill a god, they'll feel mighty powerful and would want to go to war not only against the other gods, but Satan himself if I had to put my money on it, and frankly I'd rather fold before it gets ugly" explained Monet.

Even during their very short time here in hell, there was a lot to take in, and while Kazuma would want nothing more than to be rid of Aqua, he can't under good conscious leave her to die in Hell.

"Alright, where do we have to go" asked Kazuma, "You 2 need to head to Kalliphonreeah, specifically it's capitol city Vey Aria, which isn't going to be a short cake walk given how you both are in the middle of ass crack nowhere Truxasko" explained Monet as Kazuma rolled his eyes in a sarcastic manner.

"So how long should it take us" asked Kazuma, "Honestly if you were demons, probably a solid 36-48 hours, but given who you are and traveling with, probably a couple of months" replied Monet as Kazuma jaw dropped over tackling the impossible again.

"I know, I know, not something you want to hear or deal with, but I ain't leaving you empty handed" smiled Monet as he lead them outside.

Taking out his smartphone again, a new portal appeared this time leaving a small armament of guns, and fair stock pile of ammunition.

"You'll be needing these to protect yourselves" explained Monet as Kazuma reached out and picked up a single action revolver and an early model of what could be described as cranked powered assault rifle from the wild west.

Aqua on the other hand picked up a double barrel shotgun with the barrels on top of each other and a snub barrel pistol with 2 barrels for 2 bullets at a time.

"Look, I'm grateful for you arming us, but I honestly feel like you gave us guns from like a John Wayne film" said Kazuma, "Sorry about that, I'm a huge fan of the wild west and new frontier era of arms" Monet said with a sheepish laugh.

"But don't let their looks discourage you, they work" reassured Monet as neither Kazuma or Aqua could argue.

"Now, before you jimmy yourselves into one of those vehicles, I want to give you something Kazuma" said Monet as he presented him an orange pendant.

"By the power invested in me, as the Devil of Greed, I grant this man a portion of my power that it may serve him fruitfully on whatever journey lays before him" chanted Monet as energy began to transfer from him into the pendant.

"Now heed my words Kazuma, whom ever you kill from this point on has a guaranteed chance of dropping some money for your troubles, cause even in Hell we got to have a currency system" said Monet as he handed Kazuma the pendant.

Wasting no time, Kazuma gently wrapped the new found jewel around his neck as he looked back his new friend with admiration and gratitude.

"Thanks Monet, this really means a lot in helping us out" said Kazuma with sincerity as Aqua nodded to what the devil was doing for them.

"If there's anything I learned throughout my existence, it's that you can always trust a devil as we're bound to be honest and uphold our word" smiled back Monet as Kazuma waved him off and got in one of the cars from hell.

Once they were far away, Monet began to take out his phone and began to make some calls.

"Hello Scex Pistal, it's your honey Monet, I wanted to let you and the other devils know along with our boss that we got a human and a goddess trapped here in Hell" explained Monet as he heard ramblings on the other line that was too hard to understand.

"Help them, don't help them, whatever you and the others like, just don't be surprise that whatever Satan says, his word is law and therefore must be obeyed" said Monet as his partner continued to talk on the other line.

"I look forward to seeing you too, love you my beloved" said Monet before a different portal opened up for him as he made his departure from where he was at.

Back with our main protagonists, Kazuma was on the wheel as Aqua sat next to him with a pout, and while he knew better than to ask, sooner or later she's gonna rant about it.

"Sigh, alright Aqua what's the problem" asked Kazuma as Aqua continued to pout, "Fine don't talk, just try to not bitch at me any more than you already do on a regular".

"How could you" asked Aqua, "How could I what" asked Kazuma, "How could you just selfishly choose death, knowing that we be sent to Hell".

Truth of the matter, Kazuma didn't know since he wouldn't let Eris finish, but it was neither here nor there now, since as of now it's back to Kazuma and Aqua facing a new world together.

"Sigh, I'm sorry Aqua, really I do mean when I said I am sorry for sending us both to Hell, though to be honest I didn't think you'd be dragged along, and I'm surprised that at this point Eris hasn't sent or personally came here herself to retrieve you" said Kazuma.

"For a goddess or a god to willingly come to Hell, unless we seek mortal combat, we automatically forsaken our title as divine deities and become nothing but corrupted demons" explained Aqua, which made Kazuma felt a little more guilty.

"Like I said I'm sorry, but I promise you that at the very least I will see fit that you're sent back to heaven, deal" said Kazuma as he turned his head to Aqua.

Seeing as this was her only way, she sighed before smiling, "Deal" said Aqua as Kazuma continued to drive them along Route 66.

From Heathen to Hero 2

In the following weeks since Kazuma and Aqua left their initial journey to roam the long vacant highway roads of Hell, it was anything but comforting for the duo.

Every so often when trying to take a moments rest, Kazuma and Aqua seemed to instantly get jumped by demi-demons over the purpose of killing them for recognition and power over Hell.

It had soon came to the point that the duo have chosen to stay in their vehicle or the next one the claim since staying at a hotel or even setting up camp on the road was but a mistake.

Speaking of, while Hell was essentially a fiery wasteland, it did have and offered places that are accommodating to the current modern day 21st century.

Examples besides cars and weapons would be stuff like gas stations, fast food restaurants, radio station that played selected genres of rock and metal music.

While it gave Kazuma and Aqua a sense of comfort that the lands Truxasko had offered these accommodations, the fact they were constantly persecuted was anything but comforting.

Right now the duo were driving up to a local gas station, as their car was soon replaced with 1950's style Ford Pick-up, though it was rusty and lined with bullets holes, scratches, and an axe on the right side of the vehicle.

"Phew, that was a close one" side Kazuma as he parked the truck next to a gas pump as his face and clothes were covered in blood.

"I can't believe after all that killing we only left with only 100 Hell Caps" Aqua said as she held the currency and name of what's used in Hell.

"It's fine, besides we made it out alive, and the gas and food here is pretty cheap" said Kazuma as he notice a gas attendant stepped outside of the station.

In spite of the inhabitants being demi-demons wanting to kill Aqua and Kazuma, they quickly learned that those working or on the job seemed to very strongly abstain from killing them, which was another thing that eased their mind.

"How much would you" asked the demi-demon with a ravenous growl, "Fill her up about 2 gallons" said Kazuma as he payed the attendant 10 Caps.

"Aqua, I'm going inside to see if I can find us a map and some food, you want anything in particular" asked Kazuma, "Some sweet bubbly and chips would be nice" said Aqua as she always kept a sharp on demi-demons, even those working.

"Soda and chips, got it" said Kazuma as he knew better to let her be drunk, while he's driving, since she had a drunk fit that nearly killed them in a car crash and her puking within the passenger seat.

"You know what I meant" said Aqua angrily as Kazuma waved her off dismissively.

Once inside he saw a demon the register reading Hell's version of girlie magazines as he looked up and acknowledged Kazuma's existence.

Picking himself up some soda, chips, energy drinks, little powdered doughnuts, a lighter and a map, Kazuma managed to carry all that at the counter.

"Anything else" asked the demi-demon as he put down his magazine, "Yeah, you wouldn't happen to have a map and a compass would you" asked Kazuma.

"Maps we actually do have, compasses is something we don't sell any more" explained the demi-demon as he spoke in a manner that was just as the same as the attendant outside.

"Alright good to know" sighed Kazuma as the demi-demon as he began to charge the items before him, "Anything else" the demi-demon asked.

"Yeah, I'll take about 4 corndogs and about 2 burritos, and a some directions" said Kazuma as the demi-demon began to multitask.

"Where are you heading" asked the demi-demon as he began to lay out the map, "West, specifically towards the Vey Aria" said Kazuma as the demi-demon began to guide his finger.

"Keep heading where you and your girlfriend are driving, you'll eventually enter a city called Barbed Thorn, it has to main highways, one of which is Route 66, the other Highway 43-I" explained the demi-demon as he made it easy for Kazuma to follow.

"Be sure to head southwest when entering the city, and it'll lead you to Route 66 a lot quicker" said the demi-demon, "Thank you, so how much do I owe you" asked Kazuma.

"56 Caps even" said the demi-demon as Kazuma payed for his products, before heading back outside to where Aqua was still sitting in their truck.

"Where's the gas attendant" asked Kazuma as he didn't see the other demi-demon that was filling their truck.

"He went around the corner of the gas station over" Aqua said innocently as Kazuma had to bop her on the head a few times since she did kill a few of these workers.

"If that's the truth let's go" said Kazuma as he handed Aqua the bag of goods, "Where's the beer" asked Aqua as she glared at Kazuma as he began to start the truck.

"Didn't had any" lied Kazuma with a straight face, "You liar, they probably did didn't they" cried Aqua as they began to drive off into the open road.

Ignoring her 2 minutes of crying, Aqua was soon satisfied as she drank her soda and ate her chips as Kazuma kept one hand on the wheel and the other on one of the corndogs he bought.

"Hey Kazuma, you ever wonder what happened to Megumin or Darkness" asked Aqua out of the random.

Truth of the matter, he actually didn't, maybe for a brief minute, but since his arrival in Hell, his mind was mainly on survival and keeping him and Aqua safe.

"No" simply stated Kazuma as this left Aqua surprised given how Kazuma always had thought about the girls, even in a none lustful manner.

"Kazuma, up ahead" pointed out Aqua as they saw 2 vehicles with demons driving alongside, ready to have a death derby, with major emphasis on the word death.

"Shit get ready" said Kazuma as he took out the single action army revolver, as Aqua began to lift her double barrel.

Focusing to take on one driver at a time, Kazuma always first set his sights to aim on his right where he could anyone on top of the vehicles roof ready to do some damage to their vehicle.

Not wasting any time, Kazuma laid 2 chest shots into a demi-demons chest, as they drove close enough for Aqua to finish the job as she blew the head off driver with her shotgun.

Meanwhile on the Kazuma's left, a demi-demon jumped on his side of the window, but Kazuma made quick work when he elbowed him, before pressing the barrel of his against his head before pulling the trigger.

Ready to finish off the driver, the passenger had took a bat slammed it on Kazuma's hand causing him to drop his revolver.

"Shit" hissed Kazuma as he retracted back his before the same demi-demon smashed in Kazuma's window.

"I'll be taking that" said Kazuma as he nabbed Aqua's pistol, and landed 2 shots on his assailant.

"Aqua, finish the damn job already" said Kazuma, "I'm out of bullets for my gun" said Aqua as she emptied out the shells to her shotgun.

Desperate for their survival, Kazuma slammed the breaks to their truck, as the demi-demon driver kept driving on, before Kazuma went to slam his foot on the acceleration and smashed his truck against the scrapped vehicle.

"Lucky, neither of our duo sustained damaged, nor did their truck as Kazuma hit the brakes and park it.

"Sit tight, I'm gonna finish this" said Kazuma as he went and reloaded Aqua's pistol and took it for himself.

The driver himself, began to charge out of the vehicle armed with a hatchet, but Kazuma didn't seem to falter as he laid 2 body shots into the demi-demon as he brought him to the ground.

Instantly, he began to not only bleed blood, but some money for their troubles, before going over to the passenger and collecting money from his corpse as he began to search their car.

"Hey Kazuma, hurry up" shouted Aqua as she stuck her head outside the window, "Keep your shirt on, I'm almost done here" said Kazuma as he made sure to grab the hatchet, just in case.

"So any good loot" asked Aqua, "We're about 30 Caps richer, along with now owners to another cheap bottle of liquor sold on planes and a hatchet" explained Kazuma.

"Beggars can't be choosers" Aqua said as she tried to pocket the bottle for herself, but Kazuma already tucked it in his trousers.

"Sigh, tell me Aqua, besides your now empty shotgun, how much ammo do we have now" asked Kazuma, "Well we got about 11 bullets to the revolver you lost, your assault rifle has been empty, and I still got 32 bullets left for my pistol" explained Aqua.

Letting out a sigh of frustration, Kazuma had dread the day should they be at a disadvantage, and this is in spite of the fact that Monet had gifted him with some of his power.

Taking out the map, and tracing back from their recent pit stop at the gas station, Kazuma had planned to always skip towns and cities, no matter how big or small since they were usually a pit with countless demi-demons.

But since he was desperate, Kazuma knew he had to risk it when they entered Barbed Thorn.

"What are you thinking Kazuma" asked Aqua as he began to point at their next big stop, "We going to need to make a pit stop in this city here" said Kazuma.

"Hold on, didn't we agree to always just keep driving when we enter towns or cities" said Aqua, "I know, but chances are that we have a chance to find a gun shop since we're not gonna be able to survive the road with what we have" explained Kazuma.

Aqua could only pout as she knew as much as Kazuma that any chances with them running into demi-demons with guns, which they have, was going to be a difficult challenge.

"Alright, with that said, let's get this show on the road" said Kazuma as he began to drive them to Barbed Thorn.

Time Skip

It was different upon entering the city limits, since to their assumption, Hell was anything but decent weather, especially given how it's a frozen wonderland that has affected the populace as the demi-demons had froze still from the cold, while everyday business was running as normal.

"What's going on here" asked Aqua as she was surprise to see it snowing in Hell, more so that the demi-demon population remained stationary from the cold that they wouldn't attack them.

"I don't know, nor do I want to stick around to know why" said Kazuma as he drove down the roads as he kept his eyes peeled for any local businesses that could be proven useful to them.

"Keep your eyes peeled for anything like a gun shop or a sporting goods store" said Kazuma as Aqua didn't need to be told twice.

"Hey Kazuma, over there" said Aqua as she pointed at a place that did sold fire arms, as Kazuma began to park their way in front of the store.

Grabbing their arms, Kazuma and Aqua made it inside where they saw the store owner freezing.

"Hey close the damn door would you" shouted the demi-demon as they didn't need to be told twice as they obliged.

"Sorry we were wondering if we could buy some bullets, maybe sell our guns for something more practical" asked Kazuma as they approached the counter.

"Well what do you got to sell" asked the demi-demon, "These right here, and also this" Kazuma said as he laid his assault rifle, Aqua's shotgun and pistol, and the hatchet they had acquired.

"I can give you 1000 Caps for all of this, so the question is what do you guys want to buy" asked the demi-demon as there laid a fair amount of arms behind him, with their price tag next to them.

Always the practical businessman and buyer, Kazuma already knew what they needed.

"I'll take the gun right over there, and the shotgun over there and all the ammo you can give us with what remains" said Kazuma as the owner began to hand Kazuma a Colt .45 pistol and a Remington pump action shotgun, on top with 68 bullets for the handgun and about 41 for the shotgun.

"Pleasure doing business with you" said the demi-demon, "Come on Kazuma, let's got" said Aqua as she began to pocket her ammo and held her new gun.

"Hold on, I got some questions to ask like, why is it snowing here" asked Kazuma towards the gun owner.

"Apparently one of the Devils, I believe her name being Azay the Devil of Sloth, is currently taking this city as a place to rest" explained the demi-demon.

"Alright good to know, but what does her resting here have to do with the snow" asked Kazuma, "Apparently she's so adamant to get her 16 hours of beauty sleep that she will freeze whole areas and cities so she can get some peace and quiet" explained the demi-demon.

"Wait you said she sleeps for 16 hours, how much time do we have before she wakes up again" asked Kazuma as he was already planning to take advantage of the situation.

"If I'm counting down the time right, she'll be asleep for another 2 hours" said the demi-demon as Kazuma could only smile.

"Aqua let's go" said Kazuma as they stepped their way outside, "Jeez Kazuma, did you had to talk him up, especially in front of me" began to nag Aqua, but notice that Kazuma was approaching a demi-demon and used his pistol to crack them open given how they were frozen.

"What the hell are you doing" asked Aqua, "Didn't you hear, these demi-demons will be frozen for another 2 hours, and since this is the only way we'll be able to enter a city like this peacefully, and do some proper shopping, might as well kill some" said Kazuma.

As Kazuma continued to smash open another 10 demi-demons for the next 15 minutes, Aqua waited in the truck, before Kazuma returned back so they could shop around town.

In a span of an hour and a half, Kazuma had repeated this process numerous times as he bought things he figured what was essential, like medicine, canned food and a hot plate, some books based on the knowledge of Hell and how as a society it's been functioning for the past 70 years, and more importantly a cell phone.

Figuring how Monet seemed to be a great advantage with one, Kazuma wasted no expense in acquiring one on top of a car charger and portable charger.

"Ok, I think that's it, ready to go hit the road" asked Kazuma as Aqua was sitting in the truck reading a magazine on guns since it was either that or smut as those were the only magazines they offered in Hell.

"About time, I was seriously starting to freeze my ass off" said Aqua, "Honestly this where I say something snide and sarcastic, but honestly you're best sex appeal trait is the fact you have the best ass" admitted Kazuma as Aqua felt creeped out.

"You're a real pervert and a degenerate you know" said Aqua bluntly, "Best ass ever is all I'm saying" said Kazuma defensively as he began to start the truck and notice something.

The snow was beginning to melt, and it was melting fast, way faster than Kazuma had anticipated.

"Kazuma" said Aqua with fear being clear in her voice, "Buckle up, we're leaving now" said Kazuma as he began to punch it.

As they raced for exiting the city, Kazuma was dreading over how fast the demi-demons were thawing out, and were more than eager to kill them both.

Already just a mile away from the exit, Kazuma and Aqua were short pursued by demi-demons in their own cars and trucks as they began to shoot or throw things at them.

"Kazuma, what do we do" asked Aqua as she ducked and covered her head in fear, "As soon as we drive up on the bridge, I need you to cast me a flood so that these bastards won't be able to chase us" said Kazuma as his left side view window got destroyed.

Ready to commit to his plan, once they reached the top of the bridge, Aqua raised both arms as a large cloud of water appeared, before pouring Kazuma his desired flood.

"Good job Aqua, you deserve yourself that small bottle of hooch I got" said Kazuma proudly, "No way, I deserve the good stuff" said Aqua as she managed to convince Kazuma to buy 2 24 packs of beer.

Before they could argue, Aqua's instant waterfall began to freeze to their surprise.

"Aqua, I didn't know you do ice magic" said Kazuma who was rather impressed, "I don't this is clearly someone else" said Aqua as she was right when she spotted someone approaching them.

Walking on the new icy path that had buried frozen demi-demons, they saw a she devil with red skin, as she wore a white on blue dress as she carried herself gracefully.

Speaking of her grace, she had long blonde hair kept in a French braid as her icy blue eyes stared at the duo.

"Kazuma, why aren't you shooting" asked Aqua as Kazuma began to stand by Aqua, "I get the feeling she's on our side" said Kazuma before the she devil stopped only 10 feet away from them.

"So you must be the outsiders and wild cards the Monet mentioned, or at least how he put it" said the she devil with a graceful smile.

"Who are you" asked Kazuma, "My name Azay Ziesda, otherwise known as the Devil of Sloth" said Azay.

"I must say, I had a hard time believing that a human and a goddess to be trapped here in Hell, but after Monet spread the good word, I just had to make an effort into running into you both" said Azay as a band of stray demi-demons were charging behind her.

"Pardon me for a second" said Azay as she lifted her hand delivered not only a small gust of snow, but icicle shards at them, putting down the opposition.

"Now I won't take much of your time, so Kazuma would you be so kind as to come here" said Azay as Kazuma, a sucker for pretty ladies, hurriedly approached her.

"By the powers invest to me, as the Devil of Sloth, I hereby grant this man a portion of my power, and may it serve him on his journey" said Azay as she transferred some of her power on a ring that she presented to Kazuma.

"Here take it, whenever you and you friend here want to get a proper nights rest, use this and it'll give you a mile long radius to cover yourselves in snow for at least 8 hours once a day" explained Azay as she handed Kazuma the ring.

"Thanks, you have no idea how much this is gonna keep us sane" said Kazuma since he was starting to feel fatigued here and there.

"My pleasure, and so you know me and the other Devils will be rooting for you and your journey Kazuma" said Azay before turning back into Barbed Thorn.

"Wait, what are you gonna do" asked Kazuma, "I think I'm going to kill half the local populace in this town and the next town over, and call it a day from there" Azay sweetly.

While Kazuma has faced off the Demon Lords generals, with some of them being quite hot, to actually meet a devil who was a graceful and gentle like Eris, Kazuma was starting to wonder why he never made a deal with the devil even sooner.

"Hey Kazuma what's with that stupid look" asked Aqua bluntly as Kazuma had a light blush and was ready to drool.

"I've no idea what you're talking about" said Kazuma with a straight face, "If you think after befriending Devils like that is an excuse to start worshipping Satan and becoming a devil worshipper, than you got another thing coming" Aqua said ready to go into bitch mode.

"I'm much rather you become my follower or even that of that flat chested twerp Eris, but no way in hell or anywhere else for that matter am I going to stand by and let you convert yourself into a minion of Satan be it from that creepy smooth talking cowboy, or some she devil that's more flatter than Eris in all departments" ranted Aqua as Kazuma was losing his patience for her by the second.

As for Azay, she felt hurt from Aqua's hurtful comments that she began to whimper as she continued to press on and taking out the demi-demons in the city.

"Do you even here yourself, compared to everyone including Eris, Azay seemed genuinely nice and gracious compared to you and your ugly personality and habits, and at least she along with Monet were kind enough to help us when they could have killed us you ungrateful bitch goddess" yelled back Kazuma.

"Now hold on a minute" began to argue Aqua as Kazuma was crossing a line as Azay heard Kazuma's kind words which brought her to smile again.

"And another thing, your followers are just as if not more crazy and intolerable than you, compared to any other religion in the whole damn world, which also includes that crazy ass cult that died in a group suicide back in Jones Town USA, in fact the first thing I'm going to do as soon as we get out of this mess is to pledge my loyalty to Satan, and this is not to spite you, but because Hell would be a lot more better and enjoyable without you" Kazuma said angrily as he turned Aqua back into a blubbering, whimpering mess again.

"I can't believe you'd say something like that" said Aqua as she felt butt hurt once more while wrestling with Kazuma, which in turn got him to pull on her cheeks since that was the only way she would yield.

Later

Once getting back in their truck, Kazuma and Aqua made sure to put as many miles behind them before late in the night where they spent it eating small prepped salad and canned beans.

Waiting till she was completely passed out drunk and listening to some late night alternative rock on the radio, Kazuma activated the ring given to him by Azay and was really surprised how no demi-demons, even with guns or projectile based weapons, wouldn't dare to attack them, and just moved on.

Not ready to turn in, Kazuma was plagued with the thought as to what Aqua asked him earlier in regards to Darkness and Megumin.

Even then, it didn't matter how they thought of him and Aqua then and now, and as far as he knows, they're alive and well, and if they're lucky they may have put in money for him to not only get a proper funeral service, but possibly found a nice new group of friends that are willing to accept them for who they are, or at least break them into getting their act straight together.

Still, Kazuma knew he wasn't going to get a proper rest forever, and if society could see them right now, they'd be surprise as to how close and cuddly him and Aqua are sleeping, simply because even in a car, snow is cold and even with blankets it was still chilly.

So even if they were to consensually agree to the idea of spooning, both would deny and put up a straight face that they're truly not romantically involved.

Nope, cannot, will not, never will get turned on by her, thought Kazuma as he rested his head on Aqua's, while taking a whiff of her hair before passing out.

From Heathen to Hero 3

They were getting close to exiting the first border of the lands of Truxasko into the lands of Neo Az-Maya, and it wasn't a cake walk, especially now.

About 2 hours ago, Kazuma and Aqua's vehicle decided to give up upon taking a few bullets to the engine of their proud muscle car that Kazuma thought he was gonna keep forever.

If that wasn't bad enough, his flip trick cell phone got destroyed in a fight with a demi-demon, a utility that helped them out in procuring bullets, food, and fuel on the road.

Right now, he and Aqua were walking the blistering hot roads of route 66, with only their bullets and guns, a map, and the book on Hell history.

Apparently, current day Hell was modeled after some of the states within the US, specifically states such as Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, since those states also paralleled with the real route 66.

More so, it recently changed and turned into an anarchy society ruled by one being, after the sight of what Hell had looked like for almost 2,000 years was beginning to look like an eyesore.

While it seemed the farthest outskirts in Hell was true anarchy, apparently, their destination Kalliphonreeah was more civilized.

While Kazuma still had a lot to read, right now, he and Aqua were practically dragging their feet at this point from walking in the heat.

"Hey Aqua… pant… water… please…" said a horsed Kazuma as he and Aqua were more than thankful she was able to perform water magic.

"Here you go" panted Aqua as she had previously emptied a beer bottle and filled it with water for the both of them, as the thoughts of using an empty gas canister didn't seem like a smart idea.

Taking the bottle, Kazuma hurriedly drank it as his thirst was quenched before swiping the brow off his forehead.

"Hey… Kazuma" gasped Aqua, "Yeah" responded Kazuma as he didn't have the energy to quip his regularly sarcastic response.

"Can't we just… take a break… and let it… snow…" said Aqua as she stopped to rest, while holding her shotgun besides her.

"It's not even 9 in the morning, besides it be a waste to use it if we're not gonna sleep, much less we'll just quickly freeze to death, or worse suffer from hyperthermia" explained Kazuma.

"But I'm tired… and this gun is starting to feel heavy" said Aqua as she began to fill up the bottle again to quench her thirst.

"Then here, trade with me" said Kazuma as Aqua was more than happy to switch Kazuma for his gun in return.

"Sigh, what are we gonna do" groaned Aqua as she began to squat over and refill the bottle for the next time either one of them needs a swig.

"I'm hoping that at some point we run into the next gas station, or possibly even a pay phone before we get jumped by the next band of demons, otherwise we're better off taking our chances that the next attack, they have a vehicle for us to use" explained Kazuma.

"They all sound like terrible ideas" said Aqua bluntly, "I'm just going with the flow given how our situation is practically as bad as having jack shit, but jack had the sense to leave town" said Kazuma.

Too tired to bitch, or for either one to get into an argument, both Kazuma and Aqua continued to walk for another mile, before spotting Dairy King.

"Heh, Aqua get your ass moving, ice cream is on me" laughed Kazuma in joy as Aqua didn't need to be told twice as they ran towards the establishment.

Once there, Kazuma and Aqua catched their breath before finally approaching the counter, where a female demi-demon stood there.

"What can I get for you" asked the demi-demon as female demi-demons were high pitched that they normally screamed like banshee's, that it must take a lot of will power to hold back when talking regularly.

"Give me one rocky road blizzard for me, and for you Aqua" asked Kazuma as he turned to the fallen goddess, in a literal sense, maybe figurative if you think hard enough about, or hell even both.

"I'll take a cookies and cream blizzard" answered Aqua, "No worries I heard her" said the female demi-demon as she began to charge them up.

"Hey you wouldn't happen to have a phone we can use" asked Kazuma, "Sorry, but we actually get no service here since we're that close to the border" said the female demi-demon as she handed them their frozen treats.

While one to normally ask questions, Kazuma didn't care as he and Aqua began to sat down and eat their desired dessert.

"This is so good" said Aqua as she said in between bites in pure bliss, "Yeah, it's damn good" said Kazuma as he felt refreshed before getting a brain freeze, as he threw his head back in pain while clutching it.

"Ugh" said Kazuma as Aqua just sat their laughing whilst kicking her legs.

Unfortunately their fun time ended, when the same female demi-demon and her co-workers came outside armed with weapons, which got Kazuma and Aqua back on their feet.

"Whoa now, I thought you demons don't kill while working" said Kazuma as he and Aqua backed away while preparing for another fight.

"It's called going on a break" said the female demi-demon before she screamed an ear screeching scream that startled the duo.

But because this is Kazuma, he took advantage of the situation and blasted her head off, "Alright, come get some" said Kazuma as he cocked the used shell from the shotgun.

As he requested, the demi-demons began to charge towards Kazuma and Aqua as they backed away whilst laying waste and used bullet shells to the ground.

Blasting a hole into 2 incoming demi-demons, Aqua gripped her gun with 2 hands and made her shots count, while also switching to delivered her signature God Blow and Requiem, while also using a kick version called God Stomp, where Aqua explains it's filled based on a goddesses denied craving and ire, which might be an appropriate attack given the hidden commentary.

"God Blow" shouted Aqua as she punched the last of the demi-demons as Kazuma made quicker effort with the shotgun, even when reduced to using it as a blunt weapon.

"Groan, I'm getting tired of this shit" said Kazuma as he smashed the butt of the shotgun into the already dead demi-demons head for good measure.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua as she began to approach the counter, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "Since we killed all the employees here, think we can grab ourselves a much rewarded blizzard".

Seeing how Aqua's words had merit, Kazuma saw no harm as he began to collect their bounty and anything useful to them.

"I'm down" said Kazuma as they made their way around the building and entered through the back where they began to find the mixing ingredient and operate the machine to make themselves a few blizzards and a couple of other things ranging from burgers, hotdogs, tenders, fries, and much more.

"You know, this is probably something I missed back on earth before I met you and our lives as adventurers" said Kazuma as he was one of the few people who'd enjoy dipping his fries into a frosty treat, be it the afore mentioned blizzard or milkshakes.

"I have to agree, especially the stuff the American's make" said Aqua as she too also dipped her fries in her blizzard while they both shared a basket of tenders and mayo.

"Speaking of, I wonder when are we going to find ourselves a Tennessee Fried Chicken, or hell I'll even eat at Bluto's Chicken better yet" said Kazuma as he began to eat some tenders.

"I heard that at TFC they can make you a chicken sandwich while using 2 doughnuts as sandwich buns" said Aqua as she happily enjoyed her 3rd blizzard.

"That sounds super unhealthy, yet something I hope to add on my bucket list" admitted Kazuma as the thought alone made his heart ache, but his mouth watery and his stomach rumbling.

In spite of their huge differences, be it in stat power, common sense, and responsibility, it was moments like this where their friendship truly stems from, something that both Kazuma and Aqua are willing to admit.

Before they could continue talking, they heard the faint distance sound of a car approaching them, as Kazuma sprung to action.

"Aqua, let's catch a ride" said as Kazuma as Aqua set down her blizzard as he began to walk into the road with their shotgun fully loaded and pumped.

Seeing as there were 2 demi-demons riding, and with their sights no less set to Kazuma, the former billionaire adventurer began to run off the road and lead them outside the parking lot of Dairy King, where he and Aqua ambushed them by surprise when the driver came to a halt ready to maul them to death.

End results was both demi-demons laying in a puddle of their own blood as Kazuma collected more money and examine the state of their vehicle.

While their vehicle was anything but comforting, since it was a rusted old Packard with the back seats ripped out for a larger fuel tank, and the front seats were torn, it was better than walking in the heat.

"Hey Aqua you ready to hit the road or what" called Kazuma as he was already loading up with their guns, "Hold on, I'm just grabbing us some blizzards for the road" said Aqua as she was carrying 2 trays holding 4 blizzards in each.

"Alright, let's roll" said Kazuma as he began to drive them to the Neo Az-Maya border.

Time Skip

It was getting close to midnight, according to the clock of the vehicles radio, even though the sun remained constantly out and hot, and after stuffing themselves with nothing but blizzard and junk food, Kazuma and Aqua were starting to feel sleepy.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "When are you going to pull over so we can sleep, I'm getting tired".

"Yawn, I'm getting there too, but I at least want to find us a gas station that sells something for us to stay warm, even if its 2 layers of hoodies" said Kazuma since when it gets cold, it gets cold and no amount of spooning will keep them warm.

Luck had came when Kazuma did spot another gas station 1 hour later, since all previous gas stations before sold nothing but bandanas as clothing article.

More so it looked like one of those big minimart gas station combo, as Kazuma began to park their car.

"Hang tight, I'll be back" said Kazuma as Aqua waved him off as he entered the station.

To his luck, they not only had hoodies, but shirts too, so making the decision to buy both, Kazuma went out and back into their car, as Aqua turned to see what he got.

"Here you go" said Kazuma as he passed Aqua her hoodie and a blue t-shirt as he began to remove his many layers of clothing, in favor of putting on his recently purchased t-shirt, which was green.

"Ah, much better" sighed Kazuma as Aqua herself began to unbutton and undo her vest in favor of a clean t-shirt.

Adverting his eyes simply out of consideration, it only took a minute before Aqua was fully clothed.

"Sigh, what I give for nice relaxing bath right now" sighed Aqua, "Please don't mention baths, I'm like dying for one, even if it's just a shower of all things" said Kazuma as he can relate to the sentiment.

Driving away from the gas station, both were fortunate enough to put a few miles ahead of them, before activating his ability given to him by Azay as the area began to snow.

Putting on their hoodies and leaving a crack in the window, the only thing Kazuma and Aqua could do is recline their seats back as Kazuma had handed Aqua their old top layer clothing to keep her revealed thighs warm.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma as he was trying to get some sleep.

"When do you think we can spend a proper night at a motel" asked Aqua as this wasn't the first she had inquired about this question, nor will it be the last.

"When we not only got the money, but a guaranteed that we won't be killed in our sleep, now go to bed already" said Kazuma as Aqua turned her head to pout and Kazuma could feel her glare.

"Aqua I'm really trying to sleep here" said Kazuma as he'd rather not end their day with another argument, especially since the longer their conversation goes on, the more time they're wasting under their winter blanket.

"Hmpf" responded Aqua as she turned around and put the matter down for the time being, much to Kazuma's relief, that is until the ground began to quake.

"Hey Kazuma" Aqua said nervously and wide eye awake, "Yes" said Kazuma as he felt exactly the same how Aqua was feeling.

"Please tell me that was the car or at least your stomach" said Aqua, "I was gonna say the same thing" said Kazuma before there was another light tremor where both shot up and readjusted their seats.

Seeing but a few feet away from them that the ground was literally cracking open with tentacles emerging, Kazuma didn't need to think twice when he began to start the car and drive out of the area.

Emerging from the ground was a true demon, an ancient one at that, since it lacked in any resemblance to being remotely humanoid in any department, as it's long muscular arms were branched and covered in tentacles, it's chest clearly scaly, with giant bronze staples embedded in its chest that continues to bleed.

Anything from the waist down was nonexistent as it seemed to drift with its tentacles, before the head shown itself as there were no visible eyes, and it's mouth was perfectly circular with large jagged teeth that it can swallow a man whole like the fabled kraken.

It's height clearly stood taller than the Empire State Building, as it's inhuman skin color of purple on black made it so that it would definitely stand out from any other ancient demon.

"Kazuma what the hell is that thing" cried Aqua as she clung to him tightly, "I don't know nor do I want to, now let go off me it's really hard to drive" yelled Kazuma as he had his eyes on the road and on the rear view mirror.

Now fully submerge the ancient demon had spotted Kazuma and Aqua before swiping down to smash and quake the roads that it resulted in Kazuma making an emergency stop since they were about to collide against a wall.

"Ah shit" said Kazuma angrily as he tried drive in reverse, but it was too late as the ancient demon began to grip their car in its tentacle clutches.

"Abandon ship" yelled Kazuma as he and Aqua made a desperate effort to hop out their car, "Goddesses and ladies first" cried Aqua as she was the first to hop out, followed by Kazuma.

With their vehicle destroyed and their weapons and a majority of their old clothing destroyed, Kazuma and in a sense were naked and completely out matched.

"I thought I smelled the putrid stink of a goddess, and the fact we have an untainted human by her side not under the protective eyes of Satan, very interesting" spoke the ancient demon as its big booming voice shook not only the foundation but the duo lost in Hell.

No matter, for once I kill you goddess, I will be given the rightful recognition and respect to lead those who are tired of Satan's Hell, and make every damned individual be consumed by my might so that we may rise to claim what is ours amongst those gods in heaven, and finally unite all 3 realms under one rule" said the ancient demon as it used it's tentacle hands to grab Aqua as Kazuma was frozen in place to act or do anything.

As Aqua began to cry in fear for the very last time, her savior came when the sounds of loud rapid gunshots freed her from the ancient demons grip as she fell on top of Kazuma who groaned in pain.

"Nergal, one of the ancient demons to out spokenly resent and damn our master" came the familiar voice of Monet as he walked in on the scene holding a double barrel shotgun.

"I must say Honey Monet, he was always quite a brute" came the new voice of a man wearing S&M clothing, except for the mask and ball gag.

Otherwise like the previous devils, he was red skin with horns, as he had dressed in leather pants, criss-crossed leather belts on his chest held by a silver band, and shoulder pads studded with spikes.

Otherwise his hair was on the long side for males as it was dirty blonde as he stood proudly next to Monet holding an M16 assault rifle.

"Monet the Devil of Greed and Billy Cock the Devil of Lust, why do you dare to disturb in matters that don't concern you" said Nergal, "As a matter of fact this does concern us since the big man himself wants these 2 alive and see them make it to the end, and it's our job to see them through" said Monet.

"Also the names Scex Pistal you walking dick tease" said Scex Pistal as he and Monet gave Kazuma and Aqua a sense of hope and safety.

"Grr, I won't get an opportunity like this, and damn your lord for being weak and for allowing these 2 for entering these accursed lands without punishment" said Nergal as he made it clear that fighting wasn't an avoidance.

"I'm down for rough play, but you my friend probably wouldn't know when you crossed a line" said Scex Pistal, "Beloved, let's show this ingrate what it means when crossing the words of Satan" said Monet as both men began to brandish their fire arms.

Charging in head first as Scex Pistal began to lay fire that pushed Nergal back, Monet opted to flank the ancient demon from behind and brought him to howl in pain.

Having enough, Nergal made an attempt to reach and crush Scex Pistal under his grip, but the devil cut his way out holding a combat knife as he loaded his assault rifle and continued to shoot.

Not losing any slack, Monet seemed to dance around as he evaded any grabs towards him as he fired at Nergal, before reaching under him and charged his bullets with pure evil power that it got Nergal to collapse as he bellowed in pain.

Teleporting their way in front of the ancient demon, both devils had smug smiles to see an obvious thorn in not only theirs but Satan's side to be down on the ground.

"I can't believe it, an ancient powerful being such as myself, brought down upon by false devils" Nergal said as he clearly admitted defeat.

"Say what you will about us not being devils, but never talk down on or master, or defy his words again when given explicit orders from him or those that speak upon his behalf" said Monet as he began to reload his gun.

"So here's your choice, since I'm a little turned on by our fight, if you lick my boots now and plead forgiveness, we'll let you walk free, otherwise today is the day Hell loses another ancient demon" said Scex Pistal.

"I'd rather see Hell fall under Satan's power than beg phony devil" said Nergal, "You heard him Monet Honey" said Scex Pistal as both devils laid waste in killing the ancient demon that was Nergal.

Once they finished killing Nergal, it was time for the 2 devils to approach our heroes.

"Please forgive us for not arriving sooner" said Monet as he and his partner Scex Pistal approached Kazuma and Aqua.

"Sorry is not good enough, I almost died and possibly almost got violated when this coward of a NEET-gah" cried Aqua as Kazuma once again bopped her on the head,

"Seriously, would it kill you to show some gratitude to these guys" Kazuma said angrily as Aqua gripped her aching head while crying.

"So these are the people we're rooting for, no wonder you mentioned they're a couple in need of angry make-up sex, looks like they need to do it bad" said Scex Pistal as both Kazuma and Aqua looked at him angrily.

"We're not a couple" Aqua and Kazuma said in unison, "Alright, friends with benefits" said Scex Pistal as Kazuma and Aqua felt more offended then their previous accusations.

"Anyways, we came here to give you both some good news" said Monet as this got Kazuma and Aqua's attention.

"Our dark master Satan is aware of your situation, and has given us orders to help and assist you both by any means necessary" said Monet as this got them both to smile with hope.

"So does that mean, you guys can say give us an instant trip to Vey Aria to meet him" asked Kazuma, "Unfortunately no" said Monet as this left them confused.

"Why" asked Aqua as she ready to break down and cry once more, "Well Satan, as forgiving and supportive he maybe, he can't make any exceptions to those cast down and sent here without paying their dues first" explained Monet.

"With that being said, he has deemed the most suitable punishment for Kazuma that he must continue to travel the route to Hell, and meet him in Vey Aria with Aqua continuing to be on his side, and once you both make it there, depending on your actions, he'll make one last final judge ment for him, which in fall may or may not affect you Aqua" said Monet.

Seeing as the whole reason he got stuck in Hell, was because of his actions, he not only has to pay the price of being here with Aqua in his care, but now he still has to face final judge ment based on Satan's decision, and frankly Kazuma was clearly frustrated and wish he could give up his existence.

Though before he could dwell on reprimanding him, Aqua gripped his shirt and shook him back and forth as Aqua began to cry herself.

"You stupid NEET, is this the thanks I get for my gracious help that I have given you" cried Aqua with tears, before Kazuma broke free and pulled on her cheeks.

"Aw, don't they look cute honey" said Scex Pistal as he clung onto his partner, "I knew you'd agree beloved" said Monet affectionately as he leaned his face next to his partners.

"Now enough, of your bickering the both of you, we do got one more bit of good news" said Monet as he got Kazuma's and Aqua's attention.

Later

After taking them to do some much deserved shopping, Kazuma and Aqua were now fully changed and armed for their journey.

Changing the olive drab shirt, for a true green t-shirt, some fresh jeans and black shoes, Kazuma also got himself some padding on his knees, elbow, and shoulders on top of a bullet proof vest.

Aqua, got herself a much more better fitted blue t-shirt with white fabric on the hem, as she wore jean shorts, and blue converse with white lacing.

Their weapons consisted of Kazuma using a standard 9mm handgun, and a hunting rifle, as Aqua carried with her a 9mm Mauser pistol FN SLP shotgun with comforting stock and grip.

Outside now with a car they had pilfered, it was time to say goodbye to their friends for the time being.

"Alright, I think you're both set to go" said Monet as Aqua was on the wheel as Kazuma finished loading in their guns, "Hold on, we can't see them off just yet" said Scex Pistal as he approached Kazuma and pulled out another pendant of his own.

"By the powers vested in me, as the Devil of Lust, I give him a portion of my power that in hopes it aids this man in his survival" said Scex Pistal before handing the newest in a line of accessories Kazuma has garnered.

"Thanks you" said Kazuma as he wrapped the pendant around his neck, "Alright lover boy, since you now have a portion of my power, it functions passively like partner, except instead of gaining money when you kill someone, you'll feel a little stronger, faster, and overall super during every witching hour" explained Scex Pistal.

"When and what is a witching hour" asked Kazuma, "Oh that means every quarter hour so, 3, 6, 9, and 12, you feel yourself gaining an edge in life for the next half hour before and after" explained Scex Pistal.

"Also, no need to worry about performance issues, you also gain an edge to impregnate an entire underground brothel filled with succubus now with that thing on, or when just between you and your girlfriend" said Scex Pistal with a wink.

"We're still not a couple and never will be" said Kazuma, before hopping in the car as they waved the sweet couple goodbye.

"Got to admit, they're clearly meant to be for each other and I'm glad that they're on our side" commented Kazuma, as Aqua continued to drive, "Love is beautiful regardless who it is and with, opposite sex, same sex, human, gods, and devils, it's always a beautiful sight to see" said Aqua as this was one of her moments that really impressed Kazuma and reminded him she was a goddess.

"Frankly I'm a little jealous" said Aqua, "Why, never found a god out there to be impressive" asked Kazuma since he never did inquire the daily lives and relationships of the gods, not even with Eris.

"A lot of them just want to fornicate for free, if not want to get married without getting to know each other first, and neither one sounded appealing" said Aqua as she impressed Kazuma yet again in the same day as he smiled.

"Heh, good to know" quipped Kazuma as they continued to drive into the new lands of Neo Az-Maya as the remained determined to continue their journey to Vey Aria.

From Heathen to Hero 4

It was hard to put it into words, and truly it was for the surviving members of team Kazuma.

It happened after Kazuma had died in a comedic manner, that left both girls feeling guilty for so much as smirking, right after Aqua let out a hearty yell for all 3 of them.

And while Aqua was in the process attempting to revive Kazuma once more as always, things didn't go as expected as Aqua herself was caught in a magical diagram before her body slowly disappeared from sight to the duo.

With Aqua gone and Kazuma dead, the surviving duo returned back to the guild sad while spreading the most disheartening news the guild has heard.

In spite of his less appealing traits and actions in the past, both Kazuma and Aqua were remembered fondly not only those working in the guild, but the town as a whole where a mass funeral was held.

While the citizens were begrudging in giving Aqua a religious based funeral on the crazy axis cult, it none the less gave Kazuma, a man to their knowledge who had no true alignment, one hell of a send off.

Days would pass for the guild members before they all went out to do their jobs as adventurers do, while Darkness and Megumin took an additional few weeks to recover in the ever so vacant Satou Mansion.

Right now, Megumin was left staring blankly into the fire place with Chomosuke by her side to keep her comfort, knowing well how much Kazuma meant to her.

"Sigh, I really miss them girl" sighed Megumin as she gently petted her demon cat, as Chomosuke let out a gentle purr.

Soon the doors open, as it was Darkness coming back from her daily praying over the well being and mysterious whereabouts of Aqua.

"Hey" said Megumin, "Hey" said Darkness back as she sat her way over to the other couch.

Silence was all that filled the atmosphere as Darkness stared blankly into the ceiling and Megumin continuing what she was doing prior.

"So, how was praying" asked Megumin, "It was good, I actually got to ran into Chris" said Darkness.

"And how is she" asked Megumin, "She's good, a little sad what happened to Kazuma and Aqua, but she too also prays for their well being" said Darkness, "That's nice of her".

Another moment of silence came, before the sound of Megumin's stomach rumbled, getting Darkness' attention.

"I'll go make us some lunch" said Darkness as she got up, "There's no food here, we ran out last night" said Megumin as she and Darkness really did nothing but stayed home and ate.

"We should probably go out on a quest then" said Darkness as the word quest pained her, in spite of knowing well that their own well being would be put at risk if they continued to lounge around and mope.

Still going out felt too soon and reminded them of the good times they had with Kazuma.

"Let's try tomorrow, today is practically over" said Megumin as there was merit to her words.

"Very well, I shall go pick up some food and see if any allies would wish to accompany us on tomorrows quest" said Darkness before leaving Megumin alone in the place to empty to call home.

With Eris

She was the first to know, in fact she was trying to convince Kazuma otherwise that he was actually going to hell this time around since he has been anything but heroic lately.

Still she felt sad that Kazuma chose to not listen to her and go to hell, while also feeling bad for not looking into the contracted pack he made with Aqua that she too would be sent to Hell alongside with him.

While she was grateful to later discover that both are still alive and well, she was none the less felt concerned and powerless there was nothing in her power to do anything to help them in their situation.

There only means of salvation was for both Kazuma and Aqua to go meet up and talked to Satan himself as they survive and travel the realm of Hell.

While it was common knowledge and reason at this point as to why Eris herself or the other gods couldn't go, the reason she didn't send in people like Megumin or Darkness really stems for 2 reasons.

First of all both needed to die and have enough negative karma to be sent to Hell, but in spite of their own personal flaws, neither one of their actions were deemed worthy enough to be sent to Hell.

Otherwise they needed to make a deal with the devil himself, where the issues stems from them not only trying to be heroes to kill their worlds demon lord, but there's a nonexistent Satanic church or cult for that matter that worships the dark lord.

And even if they would do it for the selfless actions to join and partake in their adventures, the gods would consider it an act of betrayal and wouldn't grant them after salvation, in spite of their own hypocrisy of doing atrocious actions.

Speaking of it didn't help that neither the gods were are anything but helpful given Aqua's situation and some were either laughing at her or were glad she's been getting what she's deserved for a while.

Ignoring their rude comments, Eris was committed to watch over their actions from afar, while also paying a visit on the surviving members of team Kazuma and withholding any to all information in regards of what they could do, only for their own safety and well being.

Speaking of, she was back in her Chris body where she made her way to check on Darkness, who was trying to gather people for tomorrows quest.

"So good to see you again" said Chris as she came out of an alleyway as Darkness was walking around town, "Chris, it's good to see you again as well" said Darkness.

"I haven't seen you in this part of town in a while, so what you're up to" asked Chris, "I was actually looking for friends and allies who were interested in joining me and Megumin for our first quest tomorrow" explained Darkness.

"Well that's good to hear, in fact how about if I join you both tomorrow" said Chris with a smile, "That would be very generous of you" said Darkness, "Any chance I can join" came the familiar voice of Yunyun.

"Yunyun, I didn't know you were in town" said Darkness, "I just returned after informing the Crimson Demon village what had happened to Kazuma, and I wanted to check on Megumin as well" explained Yunyun.

Seeing how considerate their closest of friends were and willing in spite of the occasional mistreatment they received from them, Darkness couldn't be more happy.

"Come now let's all return home and enjoy ourselves a well deserved feast my friends" said Darkness as she lead them back to Satou Mansion to ready themselves for tomorrows quest.

In Hell

Things were anything but peaceful since crossing the border from Neo Az-Maya, since all demi-demons chose to discard modern weapons for handcrafted nightmares.

Examples would be baseball bats with broken glass taped on them, tossing wooden chair legs that were set on fire like if it was a damn tomahawk, and whips made up of wire, lug nuts, and bolts.

If that wasn't bad enough, they would occasionally attack them not on carious vehicles but Impalas with melted faces and razor sharp horns, bears that were twice as bigger than the average bear and roared loud enough to send people flying back.

This list goes on and on as it baffles over how much more insane their troubles are worth, but worst of all in Kazuma's opinion was the music on the radio.

While Truxasko offered a variety of stations of different genres of rock and metal nonstop, Neo Az-Maya offered only latin-pop, latin-rock, and banda music with occasional 3 hour music breaks for radio talk shows, in Spanish.

"For god sakes, Kazuma change the damn channel" said Aqua as they driving in a Jeta, with the back doors ripped off and all but the front view window being bashed in broken.

"You do know that there's nothing but, what do you call it, Mexican music on the radio, plus it's either this or listen to that stupid talk show host" said Kazuma as he found himself needing background noise in order to pass the time while driving.

"Just turn off the radio" said Aqua, "No, I need it to help me to concentrate while I drive" Kazuma said, "God Blow".

Surprising Kazuma as Aqua destroyed the cars radio, Kazuma began to swerve their vehicle before coming to a stop.

"Are you insane you stupid idiot goddess, we could've died" Kazuma said angrily, "And I was getting a head ache from listening to that crap, at least when we were in Truxasko I was able to understand what they were saying" said Aqua.

"Oh, and you understand English" scoffed Kazuma, "Hello~, haven't you realized that ever since were sent to Hell we've been speaking and reading nothing but in plain old English" argued Aqua.

"Well how the hell was I suppose to know that" said Kazuma, "It's like when I overloaded your brain to speak, read, and write the language from the world when we were adventurers, though I'll admit and say that when being sent to Hell, there's a 0% chance of any negative side affects when being sent here with an overload of knowledge" said Aqua.

"Oh, another reason why I'm starting to like Hell a little more, thank you Aqua" said Kazuma sarcastically as Aqua began to angrily pout and began to hit him.

"Stupid NEET, don't you dare even think about being a Satanist in the presence of a goddess like me" said Aqua, "I honestly give more about a rats ass than what you're feeling" said Kazuma as he began to pull on Aqua's cheeks.

Realizing they had no choice but to walk, Kazuma ad Aqua carried only their guns, bullets, a half filled gallon of water, and a saw tooth knife Kazuma recently invested in.

"So this whole time we've been speaking English" asked Kazuma, "Yup, pretty much" said Aqua as the roads here while hot, were not as hellish considering the bits of wild life, even if it was mainly cactus' of all kinds.

"Ok follow up to that, does that make me officially tri-lingual or what" asked Kazuma, "I honestly don't know, but I can say I found it more easier to speak in English amongst all the languages I've learned and speak" said Aqua.

"Huh, never figured you to be the linguistic type" said Kazuma as he was quite impressed, "Yeah it's kind of a mandatory thing when becoming a goddess, in fact we have to study both ancient and future languages for the sake of recruiting heroes" said Aqua.

"Really now" said Kazuma as he was both impressed and also miffed that she couldn't have mentioned about these applied skills back in Axel, but then this is Aqua, who had remembered that her healing powers can now extend from afar like a beam, almost like a certain medic from a certain F2P game.

Before they could continue on their discussion, Kazuma and Aqua soon spotted the arrival of a band of demi-demons riding demon impalas brandishing machetes, spears, wrist mounted nail guns.

"Try to aim for the legs of those beasts before the riders" said Kazuma as both took a stance to face the oppression, before the area was littered in bullet shells, dead demons, and dust.

From Heathen to Hero 5

Neo Az-Maya, the parallel lands linked between and the state of New Mexico, where the demi-demons have a general strict code of using handcrafted weapons, insanely modified vehicles, and being able to tame and use the wild life to their advantage.

Never really expecting this trip to be easy to begin with, Kazuma found the trip in Neo Az-Maya to be interesting in a good way.

While yes they were still being persecuted relentlessly, and the number of demi-demons they face are almost doubled, reality they did had intimidating weapons, but were very fragile.

A majority of the time, their weapons would either break down or back fire and kill them instead much to Kazuma's relief.

More so it seems that the local demi-demons here to be divided amongst themselves, be it the crazy pure savages, and those that patrol with vehicles, stop at gas stations, and local fast food spots.

Speaking of, both Kazuma and Aqua were chilling and eating themselves to the first ever Burrito Gong/TFC combo restaurant they've ever been to inside of their monster truck.

"Oh god, it's been ages since I've had me some deep fried desire" said Kazuma as he and Aqua were eating themselves a 12 piece bucket and the 12 taco box deal, with the nacho flavored taco shell.

"Really Kazuma, I think these tacos are a lot better" said Aqua as she sat in the driver seat, eating her taco and drinking that one soda normally consumed by professional gamers and gives woman breast cancer when drank on a daily.

"I'm sure they are, but seriously I haven't had fried chicken since last Christmas before I died and met you, wow that's actually pretty sad" said Kazuma as he reflected back to eating nothing but instant cupped noodles, packaged junk food, and food in vending machines.

"That is pretty sad" said Aqua dismissively before notice the fast company that was approaching them.

"Here, hold my soda, we gotta go" said Aqua as she scarfed down the rest of her taco, before starting their monster truck as it let out a loud roar.

Not wasting any time, Aqua easily drove over and ran over demi-demons that tried to attack them with no worry since a lot of them cake charging in with rusted lead pipes and rotting wood from some destroyed building.

"Woo hoo, this is fun" cheered Aqua as Kazuma put her soda in the cup holder as he stuck his head out the window, and began to lay waste by shooting at any demi-demons riding on their beast and with weapons to sharp for their vehicle tires.

Still it wasn't enough as a handful began to climb aboard the moving vehicle ready to personally deal with our heroes.

Looking at the clock on the radio, it was already 2:55 p.m., meaning Kazuma was in the clear to take matters in his hands as well.

As a demi-demon approached his window with a bone saw, Kazuma stuck his hand out, and pulled him closer, before delivering a solid punch to the face, knocking the demi-demon out, before tossing him over the side of the vehicle.

"Try to avoid any stunts alright" said Kazuma as he's already had a few experiences of Aqua's reckless driving and nearly throwing him out the vehicle, along with being successful in throwing him out the vehicle one too many times now.

"No promise" said Aqua with sass as Kazuma decided to deal with her later, before swinging out the window and landing on the roof.

Seeing as they had 4 sets of demi-demons in pursuit of them in vehicles and weren't restricted to using things like guns, and store bought crossbows, and flares, Kazuma decided to deal with the savages hitched on their truck.

Approaching one who was charging at him with a makeshift hatchet, made up of forearm bone and a large shard of glass, Kazuma quickly restrained his wrists from laying his hands on him, before head butting the demi-demon into submission.

Unfortunately, his fellow demi-demon tried to get in between them trying to shove a spear into his brother, but he used the demi-demon meat shield, before slipping past him, and snapping the spear wielders neck with his bare hands.

Then there was one more, who had broken glass duct taped to his knuckles trying to assault Kazuma, but he easily dodged, and punched back, before delivering a straight punch to his abdomen, knocking the wind out of him.

But as this went on, the demi-demons in pursuit tried firing bolts and tossing bricks before one of them had the smart idea to toss a stick of dynamite at Kazuma.

Not letting some clever demon to get the best of him, he quickly grabbed the stick, shoved it down the throat of the last demi-demon on his and Aqua's truck, before Spartan kicking him off the vehicle.

What ensued was a large fire work show as 2 of the vehicles combusted, while the other 2 swerved off the road and crashed into the steep sand.

Satisfied and not worried, Kazuma made his way back in the passenger seat next to Aqua.

"That was a close one" Aqua said calmly, "You're telling me" said Kazuma as he did all the work, before drinking his favorite root beer along the ride.

So… what's our next course of action" asked Aqua as she went to reach for another taco while driving, "Besides going to Vey Aria, maybe invest in another gun, or more bullets" said Kazuma as they recently lost their shotgun, do to Aqua's show boating in their monster truck.

"I was thinking maybe next time we go to Burrito Gong, we try their Mexican Pizza" said Aqua since she's adamant fan, and it wasn't because of their offer of gamer snacks, just that Aqua really loved Mexican food.

Seriously, we eat there 6 days out of the week now, for at least one meal a day, I think we should stick to it" said Kazuma, "Says the guys who's a fan of Inside Out Burger, and Mutt Root beer" scoffed Aqua.

"Seriously, that's the one burger joint exclusive to California only and is regarded the best burger joint in the world, and the fact they have it here all over Hell, you know I'm going there when I can, along with another reason while Hell rules" said Kazuma.

Hearing that got Aqua to pout before stomping on the breaks causing Kazuma to spill his sarsaparilla in his chicken.

"Oh my- are you being real here" jeered Kazuma as his lunch was ruined, "Well serves you right you straying NEET sheep, also Inside Out Burger wasn't only exclusive to California, they also had some Nevada, plus their burgers aren't even that good, further more- hey!?" exclaimed Aqua.

In the midst of her ranting, Kazuma had gone and tossed the rest of her tacos and soda out the window.

"Now we're even" said Kazuma with a sneer as Aqua began to pout harder with tears, knowing she was going to bitch.

"I can't believe you'd go and throw away my tacos you jerk ass" cried Aqua, "You should never come between a man and ruining his chicken bitch goddess" said Kazuma as he tossed his lunch out the window as well.

"I could've shared you one of my tacos if you had asked kindly and promised to not turn into a devil worshipper" cried Aqua, "You know, I'm very certain that if we ran into the other devils, they would've given us a free meal with nothing in return" said Kazuma.

Speaking of, neither one has ran into either Monet, Scex Pistal, or Azay, let alone the other devils for a little over a week now, especially since they were apparently ready to help them fight by their side now.

"Don't ever trust a devil, since nothing is free without some from of them asking for a favor" pouted Aqua as she turned her head away.

As they bickered a for a few more minutes before driving, Kazuma was looking at the map, noticing they weren't far from a small town, and didn't know whether or not to take a risk for some supplies or not.

"Hey Aqua, how do you feel about making a pit stop in a town" asked Kazuma while looking at the map.

"And be ambushed, no thanks" said Aqua as she had a point given she'd mainly be at risk.

"Well, we could use supplies that isn't a portable gas run hotplate to make a better grilled cheese and tomato soup, but rather but some sleeping bags and blankets, and who knows, maybe I finally got us enough money to sleep at a hotel" said Kazuma as he knew the last part was a lie.

Still it was enough to get Aqua to smile as they made a pit stop in the next town over.

Later

After landing one more killer headshot to a demi-demon, Kazuma and Aqua for the most part were grateful that in towns like these, they only have to worry about the strolling locals.

"This is getting tiresome" said Kazuma as it took them 30 minutes before finally entering the gun store.

"Welcome killers, what do you need" asked the gun shop owner, "Yeah we'd like to sell these here for something better" said Kazuma as they were selling his hunting rifle, and Aqua's shotgun.

"I can give you about 1,500 Caps for each one, so what are you interested in buying" said the owner.

After browsing and feeling the selection of armaments, Kazuma and Aqua had left the store with Kazuma with a sawed off double-barrel shotgun on his left hip, and a big iron revolver on his left, while Aqua kept her pistol, but left the store with Arc-15 assault rifle, customized to switch between single, burst, and fully auto, and a flip scope for short to long range.

"Well I feel accomplished" said Kazuma as they climbed back into their truck, ready to hit their next destination, as Aqua sat in the passenger seat this time around.

"Hey Kazuma" asked Aqua, "Yes I'm Kazuma" answered back Kazuma, "Out of curiosity how much farther are we from arriving to Vey Aria".

"Since their journey began, it really did took them about a month to get not only out of Truxasko, but only a 6th into the lands of Neo Az-Maya, and the fact they have to deal with different types of demons, but also ancient demons, Kazuma was unsure.

"Honestly let's not focus about when we get to our destination, but try to enjoy the ride there" said Kazuma as if on cue a new band of demi-demons came in to kill them.

"Come on, let's find ourselves a sporting goods store" said Kazuma as they began to drive off to their new destination.

Time Skip

Driving out of town, with nothing but some promised sleeping bags, and tracksuits, and at least 6 boxes worth of MRE's, Kazuma definitely wanted to hurry up out of Neo Az-Maya before another month passed, even if it meant saying goodbye to their monster truck.

Right now they pulled over off the road and were camping in a cave that was their base for the night as Kazuma began to activate the ring left to him by Azay.

While it made the area darker, it also made it a lot colder for them, since both not only were in their track suits, and sleeping bags, but as discussed, Aqua was willing to spoon for their survival.

"Don't do anything funny pervert NEET" said Aqua, "Wasn't planning on it" said Kazuma as he began to wrap his arms around Aqua's waist, where in turn she digged her body in deeper and had her head perfectly close next to Kazuma's head.

Ignoring the fact her fair was near his mouth, Kazuma held Aqua dearly as regular opposite gendered friends could.

"Night" said Kazuma to Aqua as gently began to shut her eyes, "Good night, Kazuma" said Aqua before both called it a day.

Next Day

Never having a chance to sleep in, at one point or another in the middle of their slumber, Kazuma had kicked off his sleeping bag and let go of his hold on Aqua.

Aqua on the other hand decided to remove her sweater and searched for Kazuma as her body had turned held his head dearly as it was inches away from her bosom.

Still right now when Kazuma was waking up to the sight before him, he wasn't all that excited.

Be it her sweet smell from her milky skin bosom, her cute sleeping face, and the fact she was definitely cuter when quiet, nope Kazuma could never ever see Aqua being the attractive type.

"Hey Aqua, time to get up" Kazuma said bluntly as Aqua began to release her hold and stretch before slowly open her eyes.

"What's for breakfast" asked Aqua with a light yawn, "Toasty tarts, or we drive to the nearest gas station that sells doughnuts or mixed yogurt with fruit and nuts" said Kazuma.

"Mm, mixed yogurt" said Aqua happily, "Alright Homer, let's get going then" said Kazuma as he began to remove his tracksuit in and began to pack up their stuff, before climbing out of their cave.

To his surprise their monster truck wasn't destroyed, as Kazuma walked his way over to load in his and Aqua's sleeping supplies before driving them off.

It didn't take long before they reached a gas station with a large minimart, where both Kazuma and Aqua enjoyed not only mixed yogurt, but coffee, OJ, and some breakfast sandwiches which they ate inside their parked monster truck.

"So why aren't we driving" asked Aqua between her bites of fresh strawberry yogurt with peanuts.

"I'm waiting for the next raid of demons to attack us so that we can steal their car" said Kazuma as he sipped his coffee, "But what's wrong with our current truck" asked Aqua, "Honestly as much as I love this bad boy, it's not exactly the fastest or quietest of vehicles, but also its killer price on gas is something I'm not a fan of".

"But I love this truck, I wanted to drive this to Kauliphorneeah all the way" cried Aqua, "Something tells me the next time we do face against those giant demons again, I don't think this monster truck of ours was going to survive" said Kazuma.

As soon as they had finished breakfast, Kazuma caught wind of a band of traveling demi-demons in their vehicles, ready to attack the duo.

"Aqua stay in the back and start sniping them, and try to not destroy any of the cars" said Kazuma as he began to climb out the monster truck.

3 vehicles were driving towards them, as Aqua did as instructed and began to snipe away at the drivers, leaving the cars to only crash to the side of the road into a sand ditch or one hitting a cactus.

As for the remaining, Kazuma rushed his way over holding his big iron revolver and waited for the remaining demi-demons to leave their vehicles so that he could properly finish them off.

Upon doing so, Kazuma began to not only loot the money, but whatever goods he thought would serve them useful.

"Hey Aqua, come down here and help me choose what do we want to drive" said Kazuma as their vehicles consisted of 2 1970 ford cars, or a 2005 Honda civic with its body replaced with mismatched colors of steal for the vehicles casing.

"Take the Honda, I heard those things are better with gas" said Aqua as she began to toss down their stuff to Kazuma.

Once packed in their new vehicle, they continued onto the open road.

Time Skip

While Aqua was driving, Kazuma took the time in the passenger seat to read up on more of the history of Hell and its main regions.

While it doesn't say much on what are the general populace was like, meaning the enemies they'd be facing or radio stations, it did provide an idea as to terrain as they continued to drive and each locations significance.

While the region that was Truxasko was mainly a barren wasteland, it was known for farming in gasoline like the real life Texas, but the difference was that it can only be farmed by tossing sinners in the fiery of the hottest pits in hell where the body is turned to fossil fuels.

Neo Az-Maya was known as an old frequent hot spot for Satan to visit back in the real world, before the foundation of the Satanic in the real life San Francisco California, where it became his new permanent home both in life and in Hell.

These days, it stands as the grounds for traditionalist as the demi-demons who lived there prefer to be wild with their actions and killings that was common outside the 4 borders, henceforth why the lands were civilized based on the life style during the late 70;s to early 80's

What really got Kazuma's attention hooked was Indo-ZioKannan, what would be based on the real life Arizona state.

According to the book, that's where they should start experiencing not only a proper day and night cycle, but also more wild life, which extends to trees even.

Kauliphorneeah itself was deemed to be the most civilized where anyone native born and raised in the lands of California before dying are given the choice to either go to Heaven and Hell, where they could continue on living their life as it was since it had everything.

School, businesses, beaches, movies and videogames that go on today every day, to even anime, and other cultural movements, so definitely a hot spot Kazuma and Aqua can't wait to enjoy

Interestingly enough, the book mentioned a current in developed new land Movadja, based on the state of Nevada, though very little information was mentioned about the lands.

Still it was a good read to pass the time as Aqua continued to drive.

"Hey Kazuma, I'm getting hungry so keep your eyes peeled for a Burrito Gong" said Aqua, "Nope, that's why I got us these MRE's so that we don't got to stop anywhere and eat, so if you want, let me take the wheel and you can start cooking these things" said Kazuma.

"Does any of them happen to be like nacho cheese and bean flavored" asked Aqua, "Pretty sure there was a chili bean MRE kit I saw" said Kazuma as this didn't satisfy Aqua in the slightest.

"Nuh-uh, we're going to find ourselves a Burrito Gong and get me a 7 layer burrito and an apple cinnamon empanada" said Aqua as Kazuma looked at her angrily.

"You clearly have a Burrito Gong addiction I hope you know that" said Kazuma, "Tell you what, next fast food drive-thru we see, we'll eat there" said Aqua.

"I see a Carly's Jr. up the road" said Kazuma with a shit eating grin, "Damn it, why me" grumbled Aqua as she regretted her words.

"We could take the MRE approach" said Kazuma with a smug smile as Aqua grumbled and cried before switching spots with Kazuma.

Unfortunately the next fast food drive-thru was a Burrito Gong, but since Kazuma became the driver, there was no room for compromises as they continued to drive and ate MRE's.

"You know, I figured these things would be a lot more grosser" said Aqua as she ate herself a chicken burrito MRE, "You know, I have to agree with you" said Kazuma as he scarfed down the pepperoni pizza MRE.

"Hey Kazuma, I'll trade you my instant coffee for you chocolate protein drink" said Aqua as she waved the packet up and down, "Deal" said Kazuma as he didn't need a second thought.

As they continued to drive, they notice something to be described as a true horror show for them on the road.

Demi-demons slaughtered in a manner where their limbs had been severed and discarded without a thought, while their head remained missing.

"Wonder what happened here" asked Aqua, "I don't want to know, so let's keep moving" said Kazuma as he continued to drive while remaining vigilant.

As they continued to drive the road they saw more dead demi-demons be it the savage types or the modern types with vehicles and guns, and frankly both Kazuma and Aqua were feeling uneasy.

"Hey Kazuma, don't you think we should turn back now, maybe wait inside that gas station we ran into a few miles back" asked a very nervous Aqua as she was on the brink of a panic attack.

"I'm down for that" squeaked an equally scared Kazuma as he was ready to start turning back before he felt the ground quake.

It began to quake again, but forever new quake it was getting faster and louder.

"Punch it Kazuma, I've to many followers to die now" cried Aqua in panic mode as she began to shake Kazuma awake.

"Crap, crap, crap!" shouted Kazuma as he began to reverse drive, before drifting back with the car driving forward again.

Unfortunately it was too late as their oppressor was 20 ft topless woman, with purple skinned stained black and red from blood as she wore a necklace of demi-demon heads and carried twin saw tooth swords, with each teeth carrying motorized chained razor blades.

"I heard of Nergal dying to a couple, one human man and a goddess, but I shall succeed what that old fool has failed" said the giant ancient demon woman as it was evident there was an accent to her voice that sound more annoying as she spoke.

"Kazuma, what do we" asked Aqua as she saw her partner arm up and load his double-barrel, "We'll fight to the end and hope that Monet or any other Devil comes at our side" said Kazuma as Aqua began to take her assault rifle.

Driving head first into battle, Aqua opted to break the front windows of their car to have a comfortable aimed position in facing the ancient demon,

The bullets seem to do nothing as Aqua continued to fire, as Kazuma drove closer and closer as the ancient demon prepared to swing.

Putting more gas to their vehicle, Kazuma and Aqua narrowly escaped her attacks before he took out his shotgun and shot her foot for no damage reaction.

"Shit" said Kazuma as he handed his double barrel to Aqua as she began to reload their arms, "Just keep driving and-" began Aqua before noticing a shadow overhead forecasted their vehicle.

It was the descending swing of the ancient demon sword, and in a split second, Kazuma drove out of her swing, but that didn't stop him from the ancient demon splitting the road with enough force that it knocked their vehicle off the road.

Not wanting to lie down, both Kazuma and Aqua quickly grabbed their barrings and began to crawl out of the car, as the ancient demon began to chase after them.

"Shit, run Aqua run" shouted Kazuma as he took her hand and began to lead her away from the ancient demon, but it didn't matter as she readied to swing her sword once more with the intent to kill them.

"Get down" shouted Kazuma as he tackled Aqua out of the way as the tumbled down a small hill of dirt and gravel.

"Kazuma, are you ok" groaned Aqua as she got up to see a terrifying sight.

While Kazuma did save her and his life a little longer, it didn't come without a drawback, since he was now without legs.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" screamed Kazuma in pain as he fell back, trying to get his footing to no avail, "Kazuma stand still I can easily fix this" said Aqua trying to calm him down.

"Not gonna happen" said the ancient demon as she readied to swing her sword down.

Desperate and in charge of keeping them both safe, Aqua began to charge her fist with a familiar godly glow as the sword came swinging towards her.

"God Requiem" cried Aqua as he punched managed to reflect the attack back.

"Grr, let's see you try that again" said the ancient demon as she swung her sword down once more, where in turn Aqua used God Requiem to reflect her attacks back.

For a solid minute, both were at a standstill until Aqua's began to ache and bleed on top of feeling winded.

"You were truly a worthy opponent, but know that in your death, I shall thank you for making me one step closer to over throw that weak devil Satan" said the ancient demon ready to kill Kazuma and Aqua.

This is the end, thought Aqua as she fell on her knees next to Kazuma, before holding his hand one last time before their inevitable death.

That never came as a single ice shard hit the ancient demon, that erupted and sent her back.

"You shall not kill these 2, nor will you get away from bad mouthing Satan" said Azay as she came into the scene with a light glare before turning to Aqua and Kazuma.

"Lady Aqua, please tend to Kazuma, for I fear he may not have long" said Azay as Aqua nodded before tending to Kazuma's injuries.

"If it isn't Satan's little helper, the Devil of Sloth Azay" said the ancient demon, "Kali, I should've known you were to come and pursue these 2 upon hearing of Nergal's timely death" said Azay as she had a disproval tone to her voice.

"I should've guessed that soft devil of your had sent you and your cohorts to aid these 2, more of a reason he shouldn't be in charge" said Kali as she readied her blades.

"There's a difference between being soft and having a heart, and even as the ruling Devil, Satan still kept his heart" said Azay, "That heart of his is nothing but a weakness and be his ultimate downfall" said Kali as she readied to face against Azay.

Azay didn't move as she sent 3 ice shards towards her legs, before erupting with enough force that left Kali hitting the floor in the same manner and position as Kazuma.

"Don't take his strength to be a weakness" said Azay coldly as she looked down on Kali.

Far from the battle to being over, her legs soon sprouted and were replaced by 4 muscular legs that helped picked her up, before she ripped her chest open so that man multiple, very long twig like arms sprouted.

"I'm going to kill you!" shouted Kali, but Azay was unfazed, as she began to move forward with not only multiple ice shards, but a blizzard storm front to slow her down as the area began to snow in a storm like Hell hasn't seen in ages.

No matter how many arms or how she resisted from Azay's ice cold attacks, even for powerful ancient demons, they were fragile to the cold before she was turned into a giant ice cold statue.

Ensuring that her job was truly done, Azay walked her way over, and with a swift slap, she shattered Kali into millions of little meaty ice chunk pieces.

Letting the storm die, Azay made her way to Kazuma and Aqua, with the goddess being successful in reattaching his legs as Kazuma laid unconscious.

"How is he doing" asked Azay caringly as worried about the well being for the people she and the other devils were to look after.

"How could you" mumbled Aqua as Azay barely heard her, "Pardon, could you repeat that Aqua" asked Azay.

Frustrated and angry, Aqua got to her feet as she glared at Azay with angry hot tears.

"How could you and those devils be so careless in arriving so late after promising to look out for us" demanded to know Aqua as Azay couldn't blame her frustration.

"Aqua, understand it wasn't my attention to leave you and Kazuma to face a powerful adversary like that without assistance" said Azay apologetically.

"But you know what's really upsetting, it's that this NEET here speaks of you all and considers everything here in Hell with a high regard in spite of what him and I went to before he selfishly chose for the both of us to go to Hell, so don't you dare apologize to me since my expectations and assumptions of you devils will never change, but I'm not going to stand by and allow you to abuse the trust of the only man who no matter how much I upset, screw up, or get in trouble will always be there to protect me, keep me safe, fed, and a cozy place to sleep at everyday, because this man means the world to me for the rest of my existence" cried Aqua.

Approaching Aqua, Azay embraced and held in a hug and she began to sooth her, with good results.

"I do apologize for not arriving here sooner, and I understand the love you both harbor for each other, something that we devils never forget, and I know our words mean nothing to you, I promise you next time we will try our best to ensure this never happens again, understand" said Azay as she felt Aqua nod.

"As a means to show my sincerest apologies, I shall teleport you both to quaint and very vacant hotel for you to rest, and have it so that it snows for a good 24 hours" said Azay as she went over to lift Kazuma and opened a portal to their destination.

Later

Finally gaining the strength back to wake up, Kazuma sat up realizing he was laying on a luxurious cushy bed, the first time since coming to Hell.

Realizing he was wearing nothing but a bath robe and his boxers underneath, Kazuma was surprised to see Aqua emerging out from the bathroom, fresh out of the shower to be precise.

"Ah, that's what I needed" said Aqua in bliss before seeing Kazuma.

"You're finally awake, that's good" said Aqua with a smile as she slowly approached Kazuma.

"Yeah I am, but what happened" asked Kazuma as Aqua began to lead him out of bed, "I'll tell you later, for now get your butt in the shower, something tells me you need it" said Aqua as she pushed him in the bathroom.

Truly it was a nice large bathroom with granite marble flooring, and the shower appeared to be high tech and class as Kazuma didn't need to be told twice before disrobing.

A nice hour long bath later, and Kazuma emerged back into the room with Aqua still in her bathrobe and a towel wrapped around her head as she was watching TV.

"So how do you feel" asked Aqua while her eyes were glued watching an older, but still watched to this day Mexican comedy about a boy that lived in a barrel.

"Honestly I feel like a new man" said Kazuma as he began to sat on his bed, "So where's our clothes and how did we get here".

"After that she devil saved us, she brought us here to rest and recover, paying all expenses while it snows out for the next 24 hours, also our clothes are being cleaned and repaired till tomorrow morning" explained Aqua.

Not wanting to ask the awkward question of sleeping in the nude, instead Kazuma looked outside the window to see a winter wonderland.

"We should really take this time to buy supplies" said Kazuma, "Like that she devil said, it'll snow here for 24 hours, so if we leave before noon, we can get our shopping done and be back on the open road again" said Aqua.

Seeing as there was no harm to actually relax, Kazuma made his way back to his bed before ordering room service, where he and Aqua enjoyed a nice steak dinner, soup appetizer, dessert, and some fancy wine before calling it a night.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua in the dark of the night, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "I'm glad you're alright".

Never once being told any words of kindness, Kazuma could only smile as he stared at the goddess laying in the bed across from him.

"Thank you Aqua" said Kazuma before drifting to sleep.

As they went to slumber and enjoy their well deserved rest, their lives are still affecting their friends and peers.

Be it their old party members teaming up with Yunyun and Chris as they somehow helped improved, while accepting the girls of their faults when going on adventures.

Eris herself in the godly realm looking out for them and looking into how to get them out of this mess.

Even their new friends in Hell, including the ones they will shortly meet as they gathered around to discuss with their dark master, Satan, who was always keeping a watchful eye on them, and was glad to have their arrival be present in Hell and can't wait to meet them personally.

For now, Kazuma and Aqua rest since their journey from Hell and back was a far cry from being over, especially for Kazuma.

From Heathen to Hero: Dice, Bullets, and Romance

Indo-ZioKannan was nowhere near an improvement for Kazuma or Aqua in any regards, considering demi-demons still roamed the lands and were armed with better graded weaponry.

While Truxasko had people using makeshift weaponry ranging from broken beer bottles and bats, they also used guns, granted low graded, poorly maintained, and held by super glue and rusted metal guns.

Neo Az-Maya were at least given the benefit of being creative in improvising their weapons and crafting things into something for frightening and intimidating.

But when it came to entering the lands of Indo-ZioKannan, they had to deal with demi-demons driving in entering that requires gasoline or the occasional Hell Impala, and this is before when talking about their weapons.

Their weapons if not fully automatic rifles or semi-automatic shotguns that used slug shots were modern day crossbows or compound bows, hunting hatchets and machetes, and on one experience a chainsaw and someone wielding a damn flame thrower.

Yup, their journey towards Vey Aria was not getting any easier, as evident when they had to abandoned their once functioning pickup truck.

"This blows" says Kazuma as Aqua stood be sides him as she was eating the last bit of her apple cinnamon empanada as evident with her licking her fingers.

"You can say that again, I lost the other 2 ½ parts of my tacos" said Aqua as Kazuma rolled his eyes as they were approaching a general goods store that was attached to a bar.

"Well, I know where I'm going" Aqua said happily before Kazuma pulled the back of her hair as her head snapped back from the sudden yank.

"Nope, I'm not gonna let you get drunk off your ass, or do I need to remind you how I had to baby your ass when you not only caused us to crash, but nearly incapable of defending yourself after we decided to have lunch at the Cantina Burrito Gong or did you forget" said Kazuma as that was the day he got his hand chopped off and took a bullet to the leg, which Aqua obviously fixed and patched up.

"It was happy hour, besides it's been a week since I got to wet my whistle with my favorite kind of bubbly and not those tiny bottles of fire water they serve and give out on the airplane" said Aqua as that was her main source of indulging and sating her taste for booze.

"If I can't drink while walking down these empty roads, no way in hell I'm letting you do it by yourself, leaving me to be the responsible adult here" said Kazuma as this got Aqua to finally bawl.

Ignoring her silly weakling and cry baby mode, Kazuma and Aqua entered the general store and began to pick himself up a back pack and a bunch of snack and junk foods.

Once he made the final purchases and transactions, Kazuma could only grumble for only having a measly 10 Caps in his pocket.

This isn't even enough to get myself any of those meal deals at TFC, grumbled Kazuma as Aqua was waiting outside and pouting outside.

"Ok Aqua ready to go" asked Kazuma as the goddess gave him the silent treatment and refused to budge.

"Aqua, we seriously don't have many for any fast food and possibly gas, let alone booze until our next attack, which I'm not looking forward to at any point" said Kazuma.

"It's not fair" pouted Aqua before a green portal emerged before spitting out DVD disc towards the duo.

Looking at the disc with curiosity, Kazuma soon picked it up as there was a note that read 'play me', though the truth is Kazuma had no way of playing it at the moment, before some demi-demons came out the bar next door holding chains, bats, and knives.

"Crap, get ready for a fight" said Kazuma as he took out his handgun and began to shoot away at a few demi-demons as Aqua put up her fist and channel in her goddess energy and obliterated them by either punching or kicking them.

Once the massacre was over and they've collected whatever money or anything of value with them, Aqua saw this as an opportunity to get herself a stiff drink.

"For the record I don't like this, but I guess you deserve a drink, let me repeat a single drink so make whatever you order count and is cheap" said Kazuma, "I'm not going to drink water, but thanks Kazuma. Hey waiter, give me the biggest picture of you got" said Aqua paying absolutely disregard to what Kazuma requested.

"Please give my friend here the most cheapest beer you got also if it's not asking too much, I'd like to watch this DVD our friends sent me if you're willing to provide" said Kazuma to the barkeep.

The barkeep said nothing and only nodded as he began to pour Aqua her drink to which she cringe a little upon the first sip, before inserting the DVD into the audio and TV station setting in the bar.

"Las Vegas, Nevada. A place referred to as the adult playground in the world, where any man or woman can indulge in a night of gambling, lust, food and much more" said a faceless announcer of a woman as many of Las Vegas' landmarks are shown and the mentioned pleasantries, ranging from craps, brothels, all you can eat buffets and merrymaking in general.

"A place where hopes and dreams can be shattered just as quickly as they are made, but you can bet for sure you'll have many memories of the place before your departure, which is a shame since it can only be visited back on earth" said the same faceless woman as images of people winning the jackpot in the slot machines, people getting married, and a certain band of misfits witnessing their friend getting knocked out by Mike Tyson.

"That is until today my friends" said the faceless woman to revealed to be a young adult woman, with red brown skin, long black hair wearing a business suit, yet wearing a fancy neckwear with the center jewel piece made up of gold and turquoise colored gems, but what stood out were her small horns.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Cynthia Cyrus, and I am the owner and proprietor of the Devils Playground Casino and Resort, here in the New Meadows of the Movadja, here in Hell and want to invite every denizen who's payed their dues in Kalliphonreeah to come out here with your friends and family for a weekend of fun" said the now revealed Cynthia as she winked at the camera before the camera cuts away to her casino's interior.

"Spend your time here to be catered to only our finest selection of alcohol as you play at one of our many playable tables or machines to satisfy your gambling needs, before enjoying a perfect all you can eat dinner at the low price of a 10 Cap meal ticket per person" said Cynthia as everything she mentioned was shown before going back to her.

"And no worries friends, caught in a bind where you can't pay your debts, well thanks to impart to Satan, he has instituted that all denizens to be escorted humanely back to Kalliphonreeah, so that you have better luck and happy memories here in New Meadows Movadja, where we guarantee only dreams come true" said Cynthia before the commercial ended, before the camera pans away to see a familiar looking devil.

"Well I hope you love birds enjoyed the show, as this wasn't something completely out of the blue. No worries you won't get another one from yours truly now" said Scex Pistal with a wink.

"Now joking aside, I would like to discuss a matter to which I think the 2 of you can relate, and this is in regards after we've caught up and chatted with Azay" began Scex Pistal.

"What my partner Scex Pistal is trying to say is, him and I are getting married and we'd like it if the 2 of you could attend for the joyous occasion. Accordingly I think you both could enjoy the vacation" said Monet as he sat next to Scex Pistal and held his hand.

"Indeed so, since Movadja is a nothing but a frozen wasteland that not even the ancient demons dare to set foot in, plus it's a new in developed territory that our boss Satan has been pushing to further add and expand here in Hell and wanted to support this moment by providing and covering all expenses here. As a bonus, there is no demi-demons here other the New Meadows private personal Jumblee's, which are completely harmless and are incapable of harming anyone without being told to" said Scex Pistal.

"Personally I wished our boss hadn't gone and have the reception set up at the Devil's Playground of all places" sighed Monet as he got up to pour himself something to drink.

"Don't mind him, apparently his ex girlfriend back when we were alive and still human on the surface, just so happens to be the current owner of the Devil's Playground Casino" said Scex Pistal.

"Never in my existence did I imagine I would run into her out of all my ex's, especially since she didn't take the break up so well" said Monet as he shook his head while drinking a beer.

"Come now honey Monet, I'm more than certain that it's all water under the bridge with her, and probably offered to host our wedding as a sign of good faith" reasoned Scex Pistal.

"That better be, cause if she tries any funny business I promise you that she'll get the point with this hollow point in her forehead" said Monet as he lifted said hollow point bullet.

"Yes well regardless, Kazuma, Aqua, please join us for a week out here in this winter wasteland with dice, bullets, and romance" said Scex Pistal before the video cut off.

After watching the commercial and the offer behind it, Kazuma and Aqua were left with a choice.

"I say we go" said Aqua, "Look I got nothing against attending their wedding, my problem is how do we plan to get there and if the trip is worth making a detour given we have a mission to get you to Vey Aria and confront Satan, which need I remind hasn't been easy" said Kazuma.

"You know what, you can tell them that you just don't want to go" said Aqua as she felt Kazuma was just making excuses.

"I want to go, but I don't know the way to get there" said Kazuma, "We'll figure it out, just try and believe" said Aqua before the barkeep knocked on the counter before handing Kazuma the remote.

Confused at first, both saw that the DVD was interactive to an extent with an attend or not option.

Seeing how both wanted to go, Kazuma pressed attend before a blue portal opened underneath them, before both were gone from the bar and Indo-ZioKannan as a whole.

Screaming their way through, Kazuma and Aqua found themselves landing on top of a small pile of snow, which cushioned their fall, before getting up.

"Brrrrrr, I'm freezing" said Aqua as she began to rub her shoulders and shivered, "You're telling me" said Kazuma as he began to rub his hands as his teeth chattered.

Before they could dwell on their predicament, they notice a figure approaching them wearing a huge puffer jacket, a large beanie, scarf, snow goggles, and jeans and snow boots.

"Are you Satou Kazuma and the Water Goddess Aqua" asked the being, "We are" said Kazuma as the individual nodded before reaching inside their coat.

Instantly they pulled out 2 puffer jackets and some leggings for Aqua to put on, before they continue to march in the snow in silence for a good quarter mile before arriving to their destination, New Meadows Movadja.

"Whoa" said Kazuma as he began to smile alongside Aqua, "Come on, follow me" said the individual as they continued to lead Kazuma and Aqua down the streets of the strip where they notice the locals here were different.

They were all essentially humans, except all of them had 2 short stubby horns and cracked halos over their heads.

Needless to say as much as Kazuma and Aqua notice these people, they all stood out for being normal essentially.

"Hey Kazuma, people are staring at us" said Aqua, "Yeah I know" said Kazuma as he was prepared in case they tried anything funny.

"We're here" said the individual as they stood outside the Devil's Playground Casino and Resort, where in spite of weather conditions, it felt warm outside as they continued inside.

Once inside they were in awe to see the things they saw in the commercial and then some, before the individual went up to the reception desk.

"Welcome back Mr. Devil of Envy, what can I do for you" said one of the damn humans working the counter.

"I'd like to help register my friends for not only rooms, but also to make arrangements that they still be allowed here for whatever reason to attend my friend's wedding" said the Devil of Evil.

"Of course sir, and can I get the names of your friends" said the damned human, as the Devil of Envy turned to Kazuma and Aqua.

"Right names Kazuma Satou and this is Aqua" said Kazuma introducing themselves "Alright Mr. and Mrs. Satou, your rooms will be on the 7th room, and it'll be room 4-C" said the damned human.

"Oh um, we're not together or anything like that" corrected Kazuma with a blush as Aqua too blushed as she shook her head back and forth no.

"My apologies. Here are your room keys and we hope you enjoy your time not only here at the Devil's Playground, but all of New Meadows" said the damned human as she handed them their keys and smiled at them.

Once they got their keys, next came a new important pressing matter at hand.

"So wait, your one of the 7 devils we heard about that are loyal to Satan" asked Kazuma as the Devil of Envy lifted his right hand up before snapping his fingers.

Instant he was surrounded by a small maelstrom as his clothes began to transform and change into that of a black business pants, and blazer with a white button up underneath as he wore oddly enough sneakers as he carried a G11 rifle on his back, using the original caseless model ammunition.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Beeqok Heliozah the Devil of Envy" said Beeqok with a smile as he had a bit of a southern comfort accent before shifting his body quickly to dab for the sake of it.

"Oh, another damn Devil" said Aqua as she rolled her eyes, "Why thank you miss goddess" said Beeqok as he continued to lead them to the main reception hall where we can see Monet, Scex Pistal, and Azay waiting.

"Aqua, Kazuma, good to see you 2 again" said Monet as they all gathered up.

"So when's the actual wedding if you don't mind me asking" asked Kazuma as he shook hands with Monet, "It'll be in 2 days for now, though me and my honey Monet plan to spend our honey moon here for the next week and a half" said Scex Pistal before kissing his partner on the cheek.

"So where are the other Devils, I was kinda expecting them to all be here and meet everyone at long last" said Kazuma, "I'm afraid they'll be running late do to work, but no doubt they'll be here for the reception" said Envy.

"I hope so, but for now let's enjoy ourselves for the time being" said Monet as everyone cheered, "Kazuma, why not go out with your girlfriend down of Asbury and Castleton Avenue, it's not far from here and something tells me both of you will be enjoying the pleasantries around that area" said Scex Pistal with a wink.

"And something tells me you paid the receptionist at the desk to think that both me and this bitch goddess are husband and wife" said Kazuma before Aqua tied wrestling Kazuma from behind.

"Who are you calling a bitch goddess to all these devils you NEET" said Aqua, before Kazuma broke free and pulled her cheeks into submission.

Once they checked in their stuff, mainly bullets and snacks, Kazuma and Aqua opted to explore the strip to where Scex Pistal suggested where low and behold, it was paradise for them both.

Outdoor slot machines not far from an all you can eat Cantina Burrito Gong.

"Kazuma did we went back to heaven" asked Aqua, "I don't know, but before we go eat all we can drink till you puke outside, let me earn us some money" said Kazuma as he approached the slot machines.

In a span of 10 minutes, Kazuma had won the jackpot 3 times, before going to paradise for Aqua.

While the drinks costed extra, the all you can eat Burrito Gong costed no more than 17 Hell Caps per being, and given how Kazuma left the slots with about 15 thousand Hell Caps he was feeling pretty generous tonight.

"Oh my god this is true bliss and paradise" said Aqua as she had bits of hot sauce and sour cream around the corner of her mouth as she ate her 3rd 7 layer burrito and sipped back between her 8th Margarita.

"Well I'm glad you're happy and not whining for once" said Kazuma as he was eating himself some crunchy tacos and had himself a root beer.

"Hey Kazuma, why aren't you drinking" said a flushed face Aqua, "Cause one of us needs to be an adult, and the last time we both got drunk you got yelled at for puking in a pot of chowder, while I woke up without a shirt on, sitting in a bath basin filled with milk" said Kazuma.

"Come on, it's not drinking alone, and I'm not ready to make friends with a bunch of heathens. Hey can we get some Sake shots and another Margarita!" shouted Aqua to a waiter who nodded.

"Seriously I'm not gonna drink" said Kazuma bluntly, "Either drink with me or I'll cause a scene that'll get you arrested" said Aqua with a devilish grin.

While it was no problem dealing with Aqua considering she normally couldn't lie out of a paper bag, when she was drunk she was generally a better liar.

"Damn it fine" said Kazuma begrudgingly as the waiter placed at least 3 Sake shots in front of Kazuma, who was in no hurry in drinking them all, considering the night was young, and he had money.

The next morning

His head was splitting, he was exaughsted and feared that he may got talk into some sort of double bachelor party tonight, for obvious reasons.

"Fuck, my head hurts. Aqua be useful and make me some water" said Kazuma as he sat up from bed and gripped his head.

The room was spinning, but he still had a grasp of noticing Aqua wasn't either in bed or anywhere in sight.

"Aqua, where the hell are you" shouted Kazuma as he began to get out of bed and slide on his shirt, before entering the bathroom where he saw Aqua sleeping in the tub, with a trail of missed vomit around the toilet as she was sleeping next to a big bottle of wine.

Disgusted over this sight and not ready to deal with Aqua unintentionally making his day harder first thing in the morning, he grabbed the shower head and began to spray the goddess with cold water.

"Waaaaahhhhh, what the hell!? Kazuma!? Turn off the damn water, stupid NEET!?" cried Aqua as he did.

"Why would you do that" asked Aqua as she blew a strand of her wet blue hair out of her face while sitting up.

"You're a degenerate and if it wasn't for the fact you're actually pretty pure in terms of not sleeping with everyone, I'd call you a dirty pirate hooker you useless drunk bum of a goddess" said Kazuma.

Enraged, Aqua stole the shower head and turned on the water and sprayed it towards Kazuma, but she had set the water on hot.

"Aaaaaaahhhhh, damn it that water was hot you stupid bitch goddess" screamed Kazuma as he stumbled back and crawled his way back into their hotel room, before Beeqok kicked in the door.

"Get your pants on and arm up, we got ourselves a bit of an issue" said Beeqok before turning outside the door and began to fire away.

"Kazuma was that gun fire" asked Aqua as she stepped out the bathroom, "Yup, so you know what that means" said Kazuma as he began to dress up and grab himself his pistol.

"I thought we were on vacation" Aqua said frustratingly before slipping her shoes on, and grabbing her own pistol.

"Not anymore, now come on Beeqok needs our help" said Kazuma as they stepped outside to see that lied dead in the hallways were both damned humans and Jumblee's.

"What the hell is going on" asked Kazuma as they caught sight of some damned humans fleeing for their lives as they were being chased by Jumblee's.

Without missing a Beeqok snapped his fingers as the Jumblee's began to explode in a fire work display, much to the relief of the damned humans.

"Hurry on out of this place and seek refuge in one of the other casinos" said Beeqok as the damned humans thanked him before fleeing.

"I'll ask again, what's going on" asked Kazuma, "Anarchy is going on. It seems that this whole wedding here was trap from Cynthia the proprietor of this place to not only forcibly capture and marry Monet, but also her means and act of betraying Satan" said Beeqok.

"But why, like don't get me wrong I'll root for anyone to oppose Satan, but not matters of love" asked Aqua, "If it wasn't for me and Scex Pistal needing the extra hand, I'd beat you near death" said Beeqok as he glared at Aqua, "So mean".

"But to answer your question, there's a lot of beurocratic deals involving the potential of adding Movadja as a permanent location here in Hell, with a lot of lines not allowed to be crossed, one of them being the ways of how New Meadows isn't allowed to send people back home with nothing or punishing them for cheating like they did back in Las Vegas, something that hasn't gone well over Cynthia's head, and take in to account how she never got over Monet dumping her and becoming gay, and well it was only a matter of time before the crazy ass bitch would snap" said Beeqok.

"Alright, so what's the plan" asked Kazuma, "I'm currently trying to evacuate every damned human I could find out of here, while also trying to contact and reach out to the other devils who never came along with Satan to intervene and end this mess" explained Beeqok.

"Scex Pistal is on a crusade to save Monet from that possessive bitch clutches while also evacuating everyone else around" said Beeqok, "What about Azay" asked Kazuma.

"Sigh, the poor girl is currently sleeping away locked up in her room until the tomorrow, as per usual since when it gets cold she normally chooses to sleep in a comatose state, but even if she was awake, there's not much she can do considering the Jumblee's are immune to the cold" said Beeqok.

"Now as for you guys, I'd recommend to get yourselves some new guns, take my phone and buy what you need and pay me back later, otherwise helped any damned humans and give Scex Pistal a hand, he's heading towards the Casino's underground vault where they keep the money" said Beeqok.

"Why didn't you say so earlier" said Aqua as the thought of money seemed to put her in high spirits.

"Alright, I wish you 2 the best of luck, but before we split up, I've a gift for Kazuma" said Beeqok, "By the power vested in me as the Devil of Envy, I hereby bless the man a portion of my power and may it serve him well for whatever dare stands to oppose him".

Transferring his powers into a pendant, to which he handed to Kazuma, Beeqok began to explain the new hellish ability he could use.

"Now Kazuma, whenever you activate my power, you can cause yourself a none stop explosion around you for the next 2 minutes as if you were in a Hollywood action film, with you serving as the lead, however it takes about an hour and a half before you can use my power again" said Beeqok.

"You know I have a friend that if she was here, she'd love to have this ability you've given me" said Kazuma with a smile, "Anyone would, since the person to unleash such booming might and power deserves to be at the center of the crowd" said Beeqok, who was unaware of the demolition maniac loli Kazuma was referring to.

"Now enough talk, I must evacuate the rest of the citizens and make contact with the other Devils and my boss, good luck you 2" said Beeqok before he ran out the room where gunfire could be heard.

"Alright Aqua, you ready" asked Kazuma as he began to cock his gun back, "To get hammered and my Burrito Gong fill, that be awesome" said Aqua as she was hung up that their vacation ended so soon.

"Alright, tell you what, you promise me not to bitch while we save Monet, and I'll convince them to let us stay here for the next 10 days where we can get our fill of gambling, Burrito Gong, booze, and whatever" said Kazuma.

"Sounds good to me" said Aqua with a smile, before Kazuma cocked his gun as both began to run outside their room.

"Kazuma" said Aqua as they saw an attacking Jumblee charging at them, "I got it" said Kazuma as he cap the unique demon in the legs for it to fumble, before, Aqua decided to use God Blow and obliterate it.

"At least these guys are killable" said Kazuma as they continued their way to get to the bottom floor, where they were in a corridor between the elevator and stairway.

"Let's take the elevator, it'll be a lot more faster" said Aqua as she pushed the button, "No way, that's a health hazard ready to happen, we'll just hoof it, and it'll be a lot more faster" said Kazuma as he peaked down the stairway to see a gang of Jumblee tearing apart and killing damned humans that were already dead.

Shutting the door quickly and putting a mop to block the entrance, soon Kazuma and Aqua heard the stampeding sounds of angry Jumblee's wanting to tear them apart.

"Lucky handsome bastards and hot single woman first" said Kazuma as the elevator door dinged open, before both he and Aqua hopped in just in time before the door shut on them.

Taking a breather while counting their blessings of not getting overwhelmed by the Jumblee's, Aqua decided to ask Kazuma a question regarding the statement he had said.

"So you think I'm hot, finally glad to hear you admit that you found me attractive especially during those nights where we slept side by side in those stables together where your body would shake and you'd grunt and gasp like you were taking the best piss in your life" teased Aqua as she was trying to hide her smirk with a hand over her mouth.

"Let me stop you right there, when I said that, I had in mind woman like Darkness, Wiz, Asa Akira, Mia Kalifa, and Zoe Nixon, also thank you for turning a blind eye and said nothing to all that's happened in the barn up until now Aqua" said Kazuma as Aqua began to puff her cheeks as she began to pout, which was a sure sign Aqua was going to bitch.

Having enough, Kazuma began to pull on Aqua's cheeks to pipe her down and was ready to scold her before realizing they were approaching the bottom floor.

"Seriously calm down, before I decide to ditch you here and save the damn day all by myself like always" said Kazuma as he aimed his gun towards the door, "Oh that wouldn't be the first you cowardly selfish bastard NEET" said Aqua as she too aimed her gun outside.

Once the door opened, both were blessed that not a single Jumblee was in sight, which was good for the 2 of them as they began to race into the casino, hoping to find something or someone that could lead them where Scex Pistal had ran off to.

The only sure sign that was available was how there were endless bodies of dead damned human's and Jumblee's, along with used bullet shells.

"This way" said Kazuma as they followed the trail of bullets and blood into an 'employee's only' hallway.

As they continued, the more they saw more dead bodies of Jumblee's, before reaching into an open vault, where the casino had stored the money.

"Alright Aqua, here's the plan, I'll lay some suppressing fire, and while they're distracted, you use your godly powers to obliterate the biggest asshole who looks at you wrong" said Kazuma.

"I actually like that plan" said Aqua as she nodded in agreement, before Kazuma ran in head first to see nothing but blood sprayed everyone and bags of money.

"All clear" said Kazuma, "Yay" cheered Aqua as she ran up to the cleanest bag of money she could grab, as Kazuma shook his head back and forth.

"Aqua I think we have bigger priorities that need to be addressed" said Kazuma, "Like how you're passing on a chance to loot a bunch of free money with nobody looking" said Aqua cheekily.

"You do realize that before we went on this road trip across hell, Monet made it clear that my actions will be judge until we're face to face with Satan, where if I'm deemed too bad, I'll be damned here for all eternity and it'll be the end of your existence" said Kazuma as he found their punishments to be unjust on so many levels.

"Aw crap" jeered Aqua as she nearly forgot all of them as she dropped the money, "Let's save that stupid devil already".

"Funny enough, I see used bullet shells and a trail of blood leading here" said Kazuma as he stood a few feet away from a wall of safes.

"But I don't know if this leads to a hidden entrance or a trap, so let's search for something" said Kazuma as he began to fiddle with the knobs on the safe, while Aqua began to move miscellaneous crap all around.

Eventually, by some sort of 'dumb' luck, Aqua decided to play with the receipt feed of one of the many registers, and the wall began to move.

"I did it" said Aqua expecting for Kazuma praise her in a manner that she'd expect from her most loyal of followers, but only got a smile and thumbs up from Kazuma.

"Alright let's go" said Kazuma before he heard gunshots up ahead, "Come on, let's go".

Running down the halls, Kazuma and Aqua heard the gunshots getting louder and continuously more frequent, along with dead Jumblee's all around.

"Kazuma" Aqua said worriedly, "If push comes to shove, just be ready to retreat and heal me afterwards" said Kazuma till at long last they saw some Jumblee's standing with their backs towards them.

Using the element of surprise, Aqua and Kazuma began to shoot at them, punch them into obliteration, and so forth.

Eventually moving their way forward, they saw Scex Pistal filling a Jumblee with enough lead before stabbing the bayonet into the torso of a different Jumblee.

"Not every day I decide to spray, before penetrating" Scex Pistal said before noticing Kazuma and Aqua arrived, "Kazuma, Aqua perfect timing".

"Scex Pistal, we're here to help you in rescuing Monet" said Kazuma as he pinned a Jumblee to the wall, before pressing his gun against its head and pulled the trigger.

"That's very generous of you 2, I really do appreciate it" said Monet as he bashed the butt end of his gun into a Jumblee, before shooting all those that stood before them.

"Aqua, some goddess purity magic would be useful" said Kazuma, "I can't I might hurt Scex Pistal" said Aqua as she used God Requiem and turned 3 Jumblee's into drifting souls.

Once they had finished clearing out the hallway, everyone began to rest and take a breather.

"So…huff…how'd this all happened" asked Kazuma as he tossed his now empty gun towards where they had entered as Aqua gathered any Hell Caps she could find amongst the corpse and puddles of blood.

"It was terrible, me and Monet were trying to enjoy a nice romantic dinner and a show, when Cynthia decides to join us out of the blue. Granted it was pleasant, we talked, shared some laughs, but just as the show ended, that's when she revealed her trap onto us" began Scex Pistal.

"She kindly offered an alleged 'make up' earring for Monet, to which I insisted he put on, not knowing that upon wearing it, Monet was driven mad and under forceful control of that- that- harlot" said Scex Pistal.

"So naturally I attempted to call my boss and gather the other Devils, and subsequently the 2 of you, to confront and stop her immediately before she could cause any further harm, but alas she planned everything ahead of time, from the snow storms, to ordering her Jumblee's to attack everyone in sight, and even blocking radio, and phone call connection to anyone that could aid us" concluded Scex Pistal.

Even if he was a devil, Aqua felt sympathy for Scex Pistal, given that the man he loved and on the day that was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives, were taken by selfish bitter ex.

As for Kazuma, he liked their new devil friends and was all for helping them since the get go, as he approached and rested a hand on Scex Pistal.

"You're not alone, me and Aqua will do everything in our power to help you" said Kazuma with a reassured smile.

"Thank you Kazuma, that really means a lot to me, oh how I wish I could properly arm you at the moment" said Scex Pistal as he was aware that Kazuma was out of bullets, and because they can't make calls, Scex Pistal can't request more ammo or weapons for either of them.

"No worries, in like 10 more minutes, I can tango with these Jumblee's" said Kazuma as he looked at his watch and that they were nearing the next witching hour.

"If you say so, though I think it be smart if you carried one of these" said Scex Pistal as he handed Kazuma a small pocket knife, just in case.

"Thanks" said Kazuma, "You're welcome, now we must hurry for I fear whatever that harlot has in store and intends to do to my Monet Honey" said Scex Pistal as he began to continue to lead them.

They continued to fight hoards of Jumblee's from affront and behind as they progressed before they entered a large room filled with large and small pipes, concrete, and grates.

"What is this place" asked Aqua, "My guess it has to be the boiler room, or at least an extension of it" said Scex Pistal as he looked down below the grates they were walking on and notice various faucets, valves, and valve pressure gauges.

"Do they seriously need something this obnoxiously big" asked Kazuma, "You see the presentation and how warm it was at the entrance to this place, it takes a lot of power to achieve an aesthetic image to the public like that" explained Scex Pistal.

Just as they were ready to move on, the room suddenly got more cold in both a figurative and literal sense.

"Something's not right" said Kazuma as the room continuously got colder until at long last a gust of wind, followed by a black maelstrom appeared before them.

Instantly standing before them at an impressive 20 feet, that was all skin and bones, wrapped in a cloak made up of ash, father, and soot, and the horns of an alpha buck, was none other than a Windigo.

"What the hell is that thing" cried Aqua, "I'm afraid friends that happens to be the dreaded Windigo, normally used as an ultimate security measure in case someone decided to rob the vault and all of its money" said Scex Pistal as he removed the safety to his assault rifle.

"Damn it, just my luck" jeered Kazuma as he still had 5 minutes before the next witching hour as he took out the knife, before he realized he had one more trick up his sleeve.

Remembering he still had the pendant Beeqok had given him, he activated it and charged in head first and low and behold his first slash resulted in an explosion.

Eventually, the Windigo was discombobulated from being caught in an explosive trap, as Kazuma was left unharmed.

"Kazuma, keep doing what you're doing" cheered Aqua from the side as Kazuma didn't need to be told twice as he slashed away once more, and brought the Windigo down.

Seeing the perfect opportunity, Kazuma ran towards its head and plunge his knife into the creepy looking head of the Windigo, before it erupted in a grand explosion surrounding the entire area.

"Ok guys, I think it's finally dead" said Kazuma as he stood over the dead Windigo to admire his handy work.

"Way to go Kazuma" said Scex Pistal, "Hey Kazuma" said Aqua, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "Imagine what Megumin would say if she could've saw you just now".

With Megumin and Darkness

After taking on an impossible quest once more, and by some odd miracle, Darkness, Megumin, Yunyun, and Chris made the long journey back home, with Darkness carrying Megumin on her back.

"Achoo" sneezed Megumin as she turned her head away to avoid sneezing on Darkness, but had no qualms sneezing on Yunyun, who had a mortified look on her face.

"Are you alright Megumin" asked Darkness, "I think so, but I can't help but feel like Kazuma and Darkness are up to doing something that was explosive related" said Megumin.

"What makes you say that" asked Darkness, "Call it a Crimson Demon's intuition" said Megumin with a sparkle in her eyes, to which Darkness smiled as she continued to carry Megumin back home, with everyone else in toe.

Back in New Meadows, Hell

"Ok, let's get moving" said Kazuma as he wiped his knife clean, "Indeed, though in all honesty I'm worried for your guys' well being, since we'll soon be facing against Cynthia , and you both appear to be not only severly unprepared, but also unarmed" said Scex Pistal as he was devoided of making any innuendos.

Checking his smartphone, Kazuma notice that there were still no signal for him to make a phone call as of yet to request for more ammo and better armor.

Not to mention they had no idea what they'll be fighting next, but something tells Kazuma that it was gonna be to powerful for not only a mere water goddess but also for him, even with all these fancy and unique abilities given to him so far by the 7 devils of hell that served Satan.

"I think me and Aqua could use a break personally" said Kazuma, "Very well, but don't stay behind for too long now" said Scex Pistal as he had no intention of stopping till he had Monet securely back in his arms.

Leaving the duo to rest, Kazuma and Aqua sat side by side just happy to be alive and well considering all the mayhem that's been happening to them these past few months.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma as he looked at the time on his phone since time was of an important essence to their survival.

"You were in love before right" asked Aqua as the question surprised Kazuma, "Just curious to know why was it that while you were in love it made you do stupid decisions instead of being more brave, more heroic you know".

Not really comfortable talking about how he was indirectly broken up to this day, for some reason Kazuma sighed as he didn't need to think hard as to why he became a NEET.

"First of all, me being in love with my childhood friend didn't made me any different, we never made out, let alone held hands since second grade, secondly I only became what I was because she decided to move on and hook up with someone else, forgetting about the promise we made back when we were kids" said Kazuma as he heard a light laugh from Aqua.

"You find something funny about that" asked a miffed Kazuma as he had a tick on the corner of his forehead, "Sorry, just I forgot about that last bit of info, plus seeing you act so sentimental and mature is so unusual for me that I can only laugh at the situation" said Aqua as she continued to laugh.

"You know what, I don't want to hear that from with a goddess who probably doesn't know a thing about love" said Kazuma as Aqua began to punch his shoulder.

"How rude, I definitely know a thing or two about love" cried Aqua, "Oh really, then tell me what it is" Kazuma said sarcastically as he could use a laugh himself.

"Love is when your parents tuck you in and kiss you good night, love is when you leave to either work or school telling your family that you love them, love can be painful when having to say goodbye to the people you love, but more importantly love is between 2 individuals regardless of gender, race, or whatever the case maybe, because they want nothing more than to be together with their partner in spite of what others may say or the differences and flaws they see, because all they want is nothing more than to hold them in their arms tell them 'I love you' before sealing the deal with a kiss" said Aqua.

It was moments like this that Kazuma hated about Aqua, when she was honestly sincere after insulting Kazuma or where he made himself look like an ass, didn't help that Aqua was beaming with pride with her nose stuck up in the air.

"Sigh, tell me again why are we talking about love all of a sudden" asked Kazuma as this whole conversation was starting to irk him, "Well we're here to save a wedding, and seeing Scex Pistal going above and beyond for Monet is quite admirable and very romantic" said Aqua.

"Well sorry if I'm not the chivalrous type after being forgotten by the one girl who I promised to marry someday" said Kazuma as he began to frown over how uncool he felt right now.

"I'm just saying you had 3 girls surrounding you at all times, and not once did you made an effort to be a gentlemen to any of us" said Aqua, "Yeah well unfortunately no matter how lucky people thought I was, I learned firsthand what it means to not stick your dick in crazy, since no good could happen for me at least should that had happen" scoffed Kazuma.

"Stupid pervert shut-in NEET" said Aqua angrily as she tried to wrestle Kazuma, but the witching hour came and Kazuma had the superior strength in not only getting her off but to pull her cheeks as well.

"Burrito Gong addicted goddess of debt" said Kazuma before he felt his phone ringing where he released his hold on Aqua.

"Hey Kazuma, you alive" asked Beeqok, "Yeah I'm alive, I take it you destroyed the jamming signal" asked Kazuma.

"Damn straight, and now that we got things back in order, I'm going to call in our boss to fix this mess, but enough on that, you managed to catch up to Scex Pistal" asked Beeqok.

"Yeah we did, but he went on ahead to confront Cynthia" said Kazuma, "Then what the hell are you doing sitting on your ass talking to me, get going and back him up even he doesn't stand a chance facing off against her alone" said Beeqok.

"Alright, we get to it right away" said Kazuma before hanging up as he began to make a few instant orders here and there.

"You ready to take on and face up against whatever is up ahead" asked Kazuma as he had ordered them both some powerful weapons, mainly 2 rocket launchers for each of them, an M79 grenade launcher for Aqua, and finally the MG42 for Kazuma aka Hitler's Buzzsaw.

"Yeah, I'm ready" said Aqua as she gave Kazuma a thumbs up to which he returned, before both went out of their way to deal with Cynthia.

Running down the halls, they eventually entered inside a coliseum of some kind as they saw rows of spectator seats and in the center of the arena on caged metal floor was Cynthia as standing behind her was a monster unimaginable.

It was 20 feet tall, it's skin continued to rot and peel as bits of it fell to the ground, revealing it's nearly boney body as chunks of meat, muscle and nerves remained in place, it's head was the most intact, which wasn't a good thing.

A mixture of torn flesh and bits of brown fur as it had patches of blood and maggots crawling everywhere, with it resembling of a moose as evident by the large antlers and long boney face and jaw sticking outwards, while its eyes glowed a sinister yellow.

As it stands, it held a strong grip separating Monet and Scex Pistal, as Cynthia turned to face Kazuma and Aqua.

"You're not any of the other devils, or any of the other denizens here in hell" said Cynthia as she was curious to know based on the looks of Kazuma and Aqua.

"So your Monet's ex that must be in charge and the reason hell has broken here on Hell's little paradise" said Kazuma, "I see you've heard of me, however I'd like to properly introduce myself" said Cynthia as she never broke her posture or skipped a beat.

"My name is Cynthia Cyrus, the owner and proprietor of the 'Devils Playground Casino and Resort', and this standing behind me is my Skinwalker" said Cynthia as the beast let out a ferocious roar.

"What I like to know why are you doing this" asked Aqua, "A multitude of things really, me making this unfair deal and relationship here in Hell, how Monet not only broke up with me, but our arranged engagement" said Cynthia.

"Wait, you 2 were engaged" asked Kazuma, "Our parents had arranged it so that one day we could create a powerful empire out on the floors of the strip, but this guy wanted nothing to do with the casino industry, more so he had decided to go gay after we broke up" explained Cynthia.

"And what about this deal you made with the devil" asked Kazuma, "In order to get me to continue running and living out my life as curator and business mogul, I made a deal with Satan that in order to run this place I had to do with a much more forgiving attitude here in Hell, compared to the harsh honesty and lessons learned to those who couldn't make here out on the strip" Cynthia said bitterly.

"Ok, then tell me what you plan to gain by doing all of this, you don't think you can win" said Kazuma. "On the contrary, I have the upper hand you see, I've got not only got 2 of Satan's devils as my prisoner, but I've set it so that should he get involved it'll be the death of millions of his citizens and followers" said Cynthia.

"Nice try, but we've evacuated all of the people from your casino, plus that devil Beeqok is calling their boss as we speak" said Aqua, "Perfect I want him to witness as my Skinwalker here not only drains these 2 devils of their power, but him going on a destructive rampage that they'll be nothing left, no strip, no body, no nothing so now I'm going to start by having him sap the power and life force out of Monet" said Cynthia as the Skinwalker continued to squeeze Monet as red aura and energy began to flow into the monsters eyes.

"Monet" said Scex Pistal as he reached out in fear and horror, "Scex…Pistal…" said Monet weakly as he to tried to reach out for him.

"If I were you 2 I'd take this time to get a head start and flee while you can" said Cynthia smugly as Kazuma began to glare at her as Aqua looked down and felt her trigger finger itch real bad.

"You're not getting away with this" threatened Kazuma, "Yeah, you're going down" said Aqua, "And how do you propose to do that" asked Cynthia sarcastically and haughty like.

"By doing this" said Kazuma as he and Aqua whipped out their rocket launchers and fired directly towards the Skinwalker as it was pushed back and released its hold on Monet and Scex Pistal.

"Don't just stand there, kill them already" order Cynthia to the monster as it began to transform into a giant owl that let out a loud screech that was causing Kazuma and Aqua to shield themselves.

Flying its way towards the duo, it was ready to consume and kill them, but didn't anticipate Kazuma to swiftly move around to grab on its wings and climb his way on its back where he began to lay suppressing fire.

This gave Aqua the chance to start lobbing away with her grenade launcher as it further aided in bringing down the beast.

"No you stupid idiot, get him off your back before killing him" Cynthia said angrily, as the Skinwalker began to spin around while flying, causing Kazuma to fall off.

Thankfully he managed to wall jump down to safety before continuing his onslaught in trying to kill the monster, as it crashed into the ground.

"Did we get it" asked Aqua, before they heard a more ferocious roar as it was revealed that the Skinwalker turned into the biggest bear ever conceived as it was charging it's way at them.

"That's right, finish them off" said Cynthia as she could already taste victory, since neither Kazuma or Aqua's weapons were doing damage.

"Shit, it's not backing down" Kazuma said worriedly as Aqua decided to step forward and charge her fist, "God Requiem" shouted Aqua as she landed a straight punch towards the monster.

To her surprise as everyone else's, it worked beyond words as the monster layed on the ground in a haze.

"Hit it again before it decides to get back up" said Kazuma, "Mind giving me a boost for this next one" said Aqua as she began to crack her knuckles, "Sure thing".

Lowering his hands down a little, Aqua made some light distance before running forward and placed her foot in Kazuma's hands, before he lifted them up and sent Aqua sky high as she was now above the Skinwalker.

"Take this, God Redemption" shouted Aqua as she began to descend down to elbow drop on top of the Skinwalker using an attack that carries a goddesses pride and dedication to hard work through blood, sweat, and tears.

The blow proved to be fatally affective as the monster howled in pain as Aqua began to roll off its head and landed perfectly in Kazuma's arms princess style.

"I thought I heard something crack when I landed on him" said Aqua, "Yeah I think you did break something" said Kazuma as the Skinwalker reverted back to its original form to reveal that there was an indeed a dent in its head as it gripped it in pain.

"Walk it off and finish them off already" ordered Cynthia as the Skinwalker was crying and howling in pain as it gripped its head.

"Time to finish this thing off already" said Kazuma as he and Aqua continued to shoot at it, to Cynthia's annoyance.

"That's it, enough of your guys' shit" said Cynthia as she pulled out a golden Deagle and pointed it towards Aqua, before pulling the trigger.

In a moment of chivalry and selflessness, Kazuma stood in the way and attempted to pull a Bruce Lee in catching the bullet with his bare hands.

The end result was him getting half his hand torn off, along with all his fingers, except his thumb as he heeled over and gripped his hand in pain.

"Son of a bitch that was so stupid of me!" shouted Kazuma as Aqua knelt down and began to comfort and heal Kazuma.

"Then consider it you final mistake" said Cynthia as she was ready to put both Aqua and Kazuma down, as Kazuma began to smile in pain.

Grabbing Aqua's grenade launcher, and using the power bestowed onto him by Beeqok, he only needed one shot to deliver an explosion that was on par with a rocket launcher, as evident since that delivered a killing blow to gib both Cynthia and the Skinwalker.

"We did it" cheered Aqua as she hugged Kazuma, who didn't say anything as he finally passed out in pain and in blood loss, "Kazuma!?".

Later

Waking up after who knows how long, Kazuma found himself in a different, more fancier hotel room, as Aqua was coming out of the bathroom.

"Oh hey, you're finally awake" said Aqua with a smile, "Yeah" said Kazuma as he scratched his head and realized his hand was put back together again.

"So what I missed" asked Kazuma, "Well after we killed Cynthia and the Skinwalker, Beeqok showed up and Monet and Scex Pistal got back on their feet and decided to have their wedding on the spot.

"Oh shit, I missed the wedding" said Kazuma as he felt guilty for passing out like he did, "No worries Beeqok had recorded the whole thing and gave us a copy to see" said Aqua as she began to insert the DVD into the TV of their room.

The video began to play showing both Monet and Scex Pistal facing each other as Aqua was going to be the one to deliver and officiate it.

"We're gathered here today, in a bloody arena and dead ex's to bring together these 2 handsome devils, god I can't believe I just said that" said Aqua on the TV as she couldn't behave herself even for just a little.

"Monet, do you take this man to be your lawful wedded husband" said Aqua, "I do" answered Monet as he began to put the ring on his partners finger.

"Scex Pistal, do you take this man to be your husband" said Aqua, "Damn right I do" said Scex Pistal as he put the ring on Monet's hand.

"Then by the powers vested in me as the goddess of water and leading goddess to the Axis church, I know pronounce you two grooms for all eternity, you may now kiss your husband" said Aqua.

Ignoring how Aqua was show boating, it was a sweet moment Kazuma regret not being conscious for as both Monet and Scex Pistal kissed, that is before he could hear the sounds of Beeqok crying as he held the camera.

"Man now I feel even more bad that I missed it" said Kazuma, "They felt equally bad that you took a bullet for all of this" said Aqua as she held Kazuma's hand, surprising him.

"Personally I thought for a brief minute that you were actually cool for once" said Aqua with a smile as Kazuma's bewildered face turned into a smile as well, "Thanks Aqua" said Kazuma.

"So exactly where are we staying at now" asked Kazuma, "Well sense the Devil's Playground no longer exist as it's been condemned and destroyed within the same hour, we had to not only move to a different hotel, but Monet and Scex Pistal started their honey moon, while Beeqok and Azay went back to work" said Aqua.

"Ok so where does that leave us" asked Kazuma, "Well they said as thanks for saving their butts, we don't have to continue our journey back in Hell until Monet and Scex Pistal end their honey moon, which will last for about a good 3-4 weeks" said Aqua as Kazuma smiled even wider.

"I guess we got time to relax and gamble here and there, just promise me you won't rack up any debt while we're here alright" said Kazuma, "Hey so long as we get to enjoy Burrito Gong, day trips at the spa, and all the wine I can drink I call it fair trade" said Aqua.

"Alright sounds good" said Kazuma as he was ready to start their day, before sitting back down in bed, "On second thought I'm tired let's get a head start tomorrow".

"Ok fair enough, but I'm going to pick up some Burrito Gong, want anything in particular" asked Aqua, "Tacos please and those cinnamon twists" said Kazuma as both smiled towards one another and enjoyed the first day to their vacation.

From Heathen to Hero 6

New Meadows was a fun vacation stop no doubt, but as they still had an objective to complete, Kazuma and Aqua were soon back on the road in the middle of the barren lands of Indo-ZioKannan.

This time though with the money saved up and the skills Kazuma had earned himself, hardly anything that crossed their paths proved to be of any real danger.

As such both were cruising along the highway listening to music, with a pepperoni pizza in between them, with Kazuma on the wheel and Aqua on the passenger seat.

"Wow, and here I thought Excalibur's Pizza couldn't get any tastier" said Aqua with a smile as she had half a pizza hanging from her mouth.

"Was it really that good before" asked Kazuma as he's never been to one in his life, mainly because there existed only 2 locations in Japan.

"Yeah, like seriously you get one of these bad boys and you know what this here is the pizza is what can change the room form hostile to being peaceful" said Aqua.

"Wow, that is pretty amazing" said Kazuma as he reached for a slice only to put his hands on top of Aqua's, resulting in both retracting their hands back and both began to blush heavily as Kazuma continued to drive them in silence.

Reason for this awkward moment was because it all happened in New Meadows, and what happens there stays there, but to give an idea, Kazuma was on a super winning streak that they got banned from like 5 casinos, while indulging in top shelf alcohol, which may or may not let them to a night of drunk passionate sex.

But as the saying goes, what happens in New Meadows stays in New Meadows, but that doesn't mean these could forget about it yet.

Thankfully a distraction came in when a stampeding herd of Hell Bison's came charging.

What made them stand out was that their pelt had been stripped to reveal their still bleeding flesh, their horns more jagged and sharp, their eyes glowed a sinister yellow, and more importantly they were fast.

"Kazuma we got company on our left" said Aqua as she began to pull out a gold plated Desert Eagle.

Reaching under his seat, he pulled out a grenade launcher and began to activate the power blessed to him by Beeqok.

Lobbing the grenade into the herd, they were practically sent flying all around as Aqua continued to shoot at those to stubborn to back down and walk away.

Eventually after some heavy maneuvering on the wheel, once they were in the clear, Kazuma choose to park on the side of the road to check on any damages their car might have had sustained.

As for their current vehicle, it was a Ford muscle car with a V8 engine, and was painted a nice green coat on the bare metal plates.

"How do things look on your end" asked Kazuma to Aqua, "No damaged was sustained, just some blood was splattered" said Aqua.

"Alright that's good to know, any chance you want to hose it down" asked Kazuma, "Do I look like I'm your personal car wash attendant" asked Aqua as she's been asked to do this many times and was finding this to be ridiculous and over redundant.

"No, you look like a girl who can use water magic and have control to an infinite amount of water" said Kazuma, "Well duh, I am a water goddess" said Aqua as it took her a moment to remember that and should've used that title to be a real reason why she shouldn't be doing grunt work.

"Which is why we're always constantly attack, now hose it down, while I get the soap" said Kazuma as he went to open the trunk and grabbed a bar of soap, a bucket and hand cloth amidst their supply of blankets and other weapons to be used.

As soon as he closed the trunk, Kazuma was given a rude and wet awakening courtesy of Aqua.

"Aqua what the hell" gasped Kazuma as he was not amused, "Hmpf, serves you right you slave driving NEET" said Aqua with a pout.

"Come here you" said Kazuma as he came running around and tackled down Aqua as he got his wet body to get Aqua fairly soaked as well as they began to roll around in the dirt.

"Hey you jerk, you're getting me dirty" said Aqua before Kazuma got off of her, "Then consider us even" said Kazuma as Aqua retaliated by hitting him in the shoulder repeatedly, before Kazuma ended it by pulling her cheeks.

Before they could continue on their banter, they heard the sounds of revved up cars coming from up the road ready to tear the duo in 2.

"Shit, fast company" said Kazuma as both got up off the ground and rushed into the truck and picked up a wide array of weapons to combat the demi-demons as Kazuma checked his watch to see that he was 10 minutes short of using the power Scex Pistal left him.

Regardless he grabbed himself a SPAS-12 shotgun and began to aim down his sights, as Aqua equipped herself with the commando assault rifle as both stood their ground and began to fire away.

Normally they'd take a defensive stance and pray for the best, but their time here together in Hell has made them absolute badasses with guns as they were able to lay waste and bring the demi-demons down from within their cars.

Laying nothing but headshots through their glass windows, as back seat, roof top and shotgun riding passengers could do nothing but witness a more painful death upon crashing as their cars flew to the side of the road or in each other.

Once the engines stopped running, Kazuma began to search around and gathered up loot and anything of value before return back to their car with Aqua having finished putting away their weapons.

"Well that was easy" said Kazuma getting back on the wheel as they continued to drive, "Hey Aqua, mind checking the map to see where we're at and how far we are from crossing the border".

"According to the map here, we're near a small town, which explains the demi-demons, as for getting to the border, I think if we were to continue driving nonstop for the next 28 hours, we'll finally be in Kalliphonreeah" said Aqua.

"So what about 2 and half days give or take" said Kazuma, "Yeah pretty much" said Aqua.

"Well, let's go into town and see if there's a motel for us to crash at for the night" said Kazuma as he continued to drive into town.

Time Skip

15 minutes later the duo had came into town that was hardly filled anything to raise concern about as the demi-demons were unarmed and unprepared for their sudden arrival with most of the populace nearly gone.

They instead past by a small super market, leaving the establishment with essentially dinner for the day, as they continued to drive to the nearest motel.

Once there, they payed for their room and went inside to kick back and relax, but Kazuma didn't used Azay ability till he knew for certain they were going to sleep, which meant they took turns in keeping an eye out if the locals decided to sneak attack them.

"Ah, nothing says feeling refreshed than a nice hot shower" said Kazuma as he walked out the bathroom with a towel around his waist.

"Good for you, now step aside so I can go in and shower already, said Aqua as she tried to squeeze through only to stop midway while facing Kazuma.

He smelled great, he actually had some beautiful green eyes, and more so this was the man she had ever slept with, like ever, which was the same for Kazuma, who began to felt just as embarrassed and awkward as Aqua right now.

Of course things got more awkward when Kazuma's towel finally decided to drop, exposing himself completely to the water goddess who looked down as they both began to blush.

"Kazuma you pervert NEET" said Aqua as she pushed him away and ran into the bathroom, "Hey said Kazuma as he began to pick himself up while scrambling to make himself look decent.

God damn it, why me, why her, just why, thought Kazuma as he wanted nothing more than to get Vey Aria and hope Satan can do something, if anything to split them both apart at the very least so that they never have to deal with each other ever again.

So putting on his clothes, he began to dig through the bag of food they got and decided to enjoy himself an apple, before turning on the TV, which was interesting to see here in Hell, since it contains every possible channel that could be imagined.

Full on gladiator thunder dome like battles, hunting in Hell, shitty reality shows that chose to follow these famous higher ranking demons just cause their famous, adult entertainment, sports in Hell which can get super bloody, and even movies and cartoons back in the living world.

Of course they had original films here in Hell as well, with his favorite being centered around Hell's biggest human celebrity Art Legend, in the many Art Legend movies he starred in.

While it was weird to see, he did recall Monet mentioned that he never seen humans out in the badlands of Truxasko, so for all Kazuma knows there could be more humans like him around.

"…Wourh, this is my final offer, leave here and live another day, or die" threatened Art as he was challenging against a 10 foot green skinned demon covered in metal armor.

"Puny human, you amuse me for thinking you can defeat me, and for what this demon girl" said Wourh as held a human like individual like the ones Kazuma saw in New Meadows.

"You're a fool" commented Kazuma as he continued to watch the movie, before Aqua finally came out of the shower, wearing a bathrobe.

"Don't be trying to steal any glances at me NEET" said Aqua, "I won't" said Kazuma as he was more focused on the fighting scene from the movie, leaving Aqua with conflicting emotions to not sure whether she should be upset that Kazuma is more interested in a movie than seeing her bare body, or not.

"Stupid NEET" Aqua said under her breath as she began to change and put on her clothes while making sure Kazuma didn't steal a glance from her, which he didn't.

Once fully changed, Aqua went and threw herself on top of Kazuma, nearly knocking the wind out of him.

"Aqua!" exclaimed Kazuma as he was confused as to why she was acting like this, in fact Aqua herself was confused, but knew that her pride as a woman and a goddess was at stake.

"You owe me dinner for exposing yourself like that you pervert" said Aqua, "Ok, but can it wait until we hit the commercials" said Kazuma as Aqua continued to pout but none the less allowed it.

Getting off of Kazuma, she instead decided to lay close to him, like really close to the point that outsiders can say that these 2 were essentially cuddling at this point while watching a movie.

But neither one of them mind or cared at the moment since it was an Art Legend movie they were enjoying.

"No more sorrow, it's time for you to pay man" said Art as Wourh had killed his girl in the movie, but this resulted in Art going beast mode on him with a machete.

"Wow, Hell here knows how to really make good movies here don't they" said Kazuma, "Sigh, yeah they do" said Aqua as she hated to admit that Hell was proving itself to be better and better by any given chance that a part of Aqua doesn't want to even return back to the heavenly realm since it was boring, and so demanding from work.

If anything Aqua would rather return back to their friends with Kazuma, if not maybe go wherever he wants to go, so long as it's with him, because honestly her life and existence has become so much more fun now ever since he stepped into her life.

Once the commercial break came, Kazuma began to go up to the counter where he had set up a hot plate and began to cook Aqua some instant noodles and a grilled cheese.

"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua, "Yes, I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "What do you plan on doing once we face Satan".

Wow so that was a lot for you guys to read in, but hey this was the most easiest and quickest way for me to bring the story up to speed for not only my old fans, but new fans.

Also just putting it out there, don't be expecting me to do this with all of my other old fic's like there's one too many to be copy and pasted, and I'm pretty damn positive that at some point or another I did deleted half of them in order to make more space on my computer, but fear not at some point I'll go back and give them all the conclusion they deserve, just like what I did with my Loud House fanfic I'll definitely time skip towards the last and final chapters and move from there, while the small handful of completed chapters I do have lying around with like less than 10 chapters will get the omnibus treatment.
