Beloved

A woman stood, gazing out into the distance, the beautiful scenery blooming with flowers, trees, and an ever-green field. She always observes the world she saved months ago, wilting away from the evil within. With the empire now gone, a few remainders stand but quickly taken out by Ingrid and the knights of the kingdom. She was queen and her king; her beloved was a man she loved more than life itself. Her bright green eyes surveyed the plans, gathering all the warmth and love she gained from everything they've accomplished.

Lots of people say she's as beautiful as a goddess, her light green hair shining with the sun's elegant rays, her eyes as green as the grassy landscapes. Her heart pure, and her heroism dominating all evil. Ever since becoming an archbishop, she's rebuilding the monastery, gathering all people, and honoring Lady Rhea in the process. Once in a blue moon, Rhea is there watching all over them all in spirit. Life is as beautiful as all know it to be, a seed of a new beginning, as a new ray of sunshine beams a new morning.

Six months ago, the war came to an abrupt end, the sole survivors gathered in victory, reclaiming their lands, and reclaiming their pride. Everyone was at peace with one another, all protective and together through thick and thin.

"You're rather happy," said a faint voice, deep within her chest, a voice she's come to love dearly. "allow me to rephrase that now, we're rather happy, aren't we?"

A very playful grin grew on Byleth's face while rubbing her swollen belly gently. "very much so."

"Pregnancy suits you, it's a bless to watch you shine." She said again, very warmly. "I enjoy this side of you. I'm very thrilled you're so happy." The goddess Sothis replied, shining a bright light onto Byleth's face. Smiling, Byleth closed her eyes and welcomed the warmth of the blessed one deep within their heart.

Allowing some happy tears to fall down her face, she remembered all that she endured getting far, through good and bad, she was the happiest she's ever been in her life. After the war ended, Byleth married Dimitri in a lovely wedding in the kingdom, as the people crowned them both king and queen of Fodlan. The happy pair were always seen together, and it was a real beauty to see such love among them. They had heated debates, but always resolved them, and some knights have said, "He always has his arms around her, as her head rests on his chest, listening to his heart beating. It's rather lovely; their love is pure."

Throughout everything that had happened between them, they always stood by the other's side through thick and thin. She is his beloved, as he is hers.

I wish my father was here. I wish he was here to see our little one.. He would have loved the idea of being a grandfather.

"I will let him know at once, my dear," Sothis replied sweetly.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart Sothis. Thank you for guiding me, chastising me when I needed it, and making me into the person I am now."

The goddess beamed. "I can't simply take all the credit, but it was fun to tease you. I'm with you always, and deep in your heart, I feel the very same." Byleth opens her emerald eyes, shining with unmistakable happiness, her bangs brushing against her face with the breeze playing with her forehead. Moving her head slightly, she looks out into the distance before hearing someone approaching from behind her.

"Professor," It was Dimitri, her beloved.

Even after all these months of being married, you still call me that? I love hearing you call me that. I love you always. She thought, turning to face him with a loving smile plastered on her face. The moniker never tired, even her greatest friends and allies still to this day call her that. It was adoring.

"Hello," she says warmly, while the sun dances around the pair with utter happiness. Laughing she continued. "It's good to see you're finally awake, I missed you." She says teasingly, walking closer to envelop him into a hug.

Even though she was blessed by the goddess, she always felt safe in his arms, his scent always put her mind at ease. Feeling his grip on her waist tighten he kissed her softly on the lips before laughing quietly. "I wasn't sleeping that long, maybe an hour or two before you decided to leave me in the cold bed alone." He winked, kissing her forehead before hearing a scowl from her.

"So, you were awake and you didn't join me? That's rude, but I love you anyway." Blushing now, as red as a rose, Byleth kissed his nose, while resting her head on his chest.

"I love it when you tease me."

She smiled, "As do I my love."

They stayed like that for what seemed like an eternity, but he broke the silence that was warm and full of eternal love. "So, how's our baby boy doing?"

She turned his arms, her brow furrowing, but her eyes teasing. "Boy? I think not, it's a girl Dimitri." Her head returned to its resting place while closing her eyes. "I love you."

His smile warmed, he couldn't say anything to that cute victor grin displayed on her face, the way she held onto his waist lovingly, and the way she kissed him made his heart melt. You won my love, just watch it be a girl, or boy. I don't care anymore, I just want you always.

Taking in a deep breath, Dimitri rests his chin onto her head, taking note of how much their love meant everything to him. He didn't have the heart to tease her, she was adorable when she tried to tease him, it was memorizing. "I love you too my beloved."

Little did they know, Sothis blessed the couple with eternal love and many children to come.

More to come, please be prepared ;p
