Hello there, this is the prologue of another series I am going to write. Like 'The Abyss' series this will have many sequels. But there are many differences, I will explain in the last chapter of 'The Abyss: Prologue'.Anyway this one will be a one shot and unlike 'The Abyss' series it is optional to read this prologue, that is, you can understand its sequels without needing to read the prologue.
Disclaimer: I don't own Problem children are coming from another world aren't they?
Born from a Void: Prologue
It was morning, with bright comforting light of the sun shining and fresh air blowing. The trees were seemingly lightly waving around in the cool wind and the fresh, calming smell of nature spreading everywhere.
In scene of morning a young boy was could be seen walking on a road surrounded by grass and trees.
The boy had light blond hair and purple eyes, he was wearing dark purple coloured pants with a black T-Shirt and white socks alongside red sneakers, to complete the appearance he was also wearing a full sleeved purple jacket.
Currently he had a very bored look on his face.
" Another world, but still as boring as the others before it." The boy sighed and closed his eyes thinking.
This boy was Izayoi, he had the appearance of a human, at least right now, though he had only taken this appearance because this was how he was 'born', if you could even call the circumstances of his 'birth' being born, even though he currently had no attachment to anyone, he saw no merit in changing his appearance to any other.
Unknown to anyone except for Izayoi himself, he was different in ways more than one, his soul, when it manifested, due to a crack in reality, its power was enhanced, by a void, to the point that he now has no limits, he was created boundless, without any limits, in simple words he could do any thing, and remain unaffected by everything.
He was made of an endless amount of energy that allowed him to do anything, change reality, gain any knowledge, and anything else. But being boundless means he was also immune to everything, including his own powers and those of other boundless beings.
Naturally, this lead to him getting really bored, after a few years of being 'born' he turned so bored that he started to travel accross worlds to find entertainment, while willingly not using his true power, and just using his physical strength (which was without limits just like every other power of his) to fight, but the few worlds he came accross, didn't have much entertainment, so now he was considering travelling to other universes, multiverses, outerverses, etc. or just using powers to find what will provide him the most entertainment in this world.
"Though there is no guarantee that the other universes will be fun for me or not." thought Izayoi as he opened his eyes.
So, what to do now?
Just as he was thinking about it he heard a woman's voice. The voice which sounded like a soft song being played, pleasant to hear and beautiful.
"You seem to be too deep in thought for someone your age boy."
When he turned towards the direction of the voice and saw a young woman with wavy golden short hair that seemed to bring out her delicate and proportioned facial features, dressed in a long white coat over the amethyst colored vest with spaghetti straps, with black long boots to match. Mismatched shell earrings hung on her left and right ear.
"Well, maybe." he responded shrugging his shoulders, before smiling, "But you might just be the first one to notice."
"Well I guess then the other don't pay enough attention to you." she replied with a mysterious smile."So, mind telling me what were you thinking."
"Not at all." Who knows? This might quell his boredom a little."If you you have the time to hear, that is."
"Well I was the one who asked in the first place, so why would I mind?"
"True." Izayoi chuckled, what an interesting person.
"Long story short, I am bored, you could say, and at this point I am thinking what should I do that quell my boredom"
"Bored, at you age?" the woman raised an eye brow.
"Well, age doesn't really decide the mentality of an individual, sometimes at least."
"I can agree with that." She smiled that mysterious smile again and said, "It seems like you are different than most children then, eh?"
Izayoi mentally raised an eyebrow," Can she sense my power?" The answer was no, it was more like she can not sense anything from him, no presence, no existance, nothing.
If Izayoi had ever encountered someone able to sense existance of others or bothered to use his powers to gain knowledge of his and others abilities, and then created a fake presence and a fake existanse for himself, he would have gone unnoticed by Canaria.
But it was for the best that this was not the case, because unknown to either of them, she was going to be the one to provide some joy to him.
He activated his sensory abilities and felt an unnatural power coming form her. "Kind of like reality warping, but weaker." he thought.
"Maybe." Izayoi shrugged, not showing any signs that she had just peaked his interest.
She just smiled again, " I run an... orphanage of sorts for special children, so that they can live their life like they want, without any discrimination." She paused for a second and then said " How would you like to become a part of our family? I assure you it will do more than just quelling your boredom."
Later.
"'Canaria's foster home', huh." Izayoi muttered as he looked at the building in front him. After activating his sensory abilities, he could sense that it has large concentration of unnatural powers, like the ones he senses from the woman, Canaria, yet different somehow.
"What are you waiting for, it's time for you to meet the other children." The cheerful voice of Canaria came from behind him, as she walked in front of him and waved her hand in front of his face. Smiling in amusement, she said, "Lost in thought again."
He rolled his eyes at her attempt to tease him and said, "You go inside, I will follow you in a second."
She raised an eyebrow questioningly, but then nodded with another smile, and walked away inside.
Izayoi looked at the building for another few seconds before starting to walk towards the building himself. While walking, a small barely noticeable smile made it's way to his face as he said,
"This should be fun."
The End.
This version of Izayoi is a boundless entity, he can do anything. He is even more powerful than truely Omnipotent entities.
But don't worry it will not ruin the stories because, the entire purpose of this series is to see Izayoi change and meddle with things for his own amusement and help other characters develop. That is why he is so powerful.
Well anyway, I am going to make a sequel to this sometime in the future, it will start directly where this one ended.
