"LISANNA!?"

"I'm back everyone!"

"SHE'S ACTUALLY ALIVE!"

"SHE'S BACK HOME EVERYONE! LIS IS FINALLY BACK!"

Everyone cheered in excitement at the sight of their long lost guild member. Everyone had thought she was dead! Or well, she technically was, but what mattered was that she's back safe and sound!

Lucy felt rather joyful as she took in the overwhelming atmosphere. She was off to the side with Gajeel, Wendy and Juvia. Watching everyone surround the short haired girl with smiles on their faces. Everyone sobbed out of sadness and gratefulness that she was still alive.

Many were still in disbelief that the youngest of the Strauss siblings was actually standing in front of them. Especially Mirajane and Elfman. It had been too long… They were frozen stiff at the sight before them. They desperately wished that this wasn't a dream or a hallucination.

Wendy was a tad bit curious about who the girl was. She remembered seeing her once when they were in Edolas. Who would have thought that she was actually the Lisanna from Earthland?

She muttered a question to Lucy, "May I ask who that is Lucy-san? I didn't think she was actually from here." Lucy hummed to herself as she watched Natsu and Happy practically glue themselves to Lisanna.

"I've heard stories from Mira and Elfman. Happy would mention her occasionally. He told me that she used to raise him with Natsu. She's Mirajane's and Elfman's baby sister… And Natsu's childhood friend." Wendy noticed the slight sad tone in her voice, but chose to not say anything. She simply turned her attention back to the family reunion.

Juvia seethed in silence as she watched Gray mess with Lisanna's hair, causing her to whine, "Juvia can't believe that she has gained another love rival in such a short amount of time!" She sneakily cast Lucy a dark glare, causing said girl to sweat.

"I-I'm not your love rival Juvia! I'm not interested in Gray! I swear!" Lucy still didn't understand why the water mage kept thinking she was interested in Gray. He wasn't her type!

Juvia seemed to believe her words, cause she started to calm down a little as she sulked to herself. Eyes still glued to her one and only Gray-Sama. She squealed in delight when he started to strip his shirt off. She didn't waste any time jumping at the opportunity to collect his clothing from the ground. She was off in lala land as she hugged it to herself with a silly grin.

Charla and Lily were next to their partners respectively as they watched the fiasco. "I have a feeling they're going to celebrate for a good amount of time…" Lily grunted in response, "Still. It's nice to see everyone so happy."

Gajeel was a bit annoyed that he couldn't be near his favorite bookworm. Not that he would admit that of course. "How long do you think this would last?" Everyone shrugged their shoulders. They hoped this celebration wasn't going to last too long.

Lucy was happy that Natsu and everyone was excited. But something seemed to tug at her chest. It took a bit to identify the emotions that she was feeling. Despite her feeling happy at the sight, she felt a bit hopeless. She also felt a bit lonely as well, which confused her. Why would she feel lonely?

She shook her head. The emotions were still present when she saw Natsu wave over to her before he turned his attention back to the takeover mage.

It didn't take long until the entire guild decided that it was the perfect excuse to throw a giant party, to celebrate Lisanna's return. Mirajane was off bar duty in accommodation to her spending some quality time with her baby sister. Elfman cried and apologized to Lisanna. He told her that he was so mortified and guilty when that incident had happened. Mirajane sobbed softly as they hugged.

The party had lasted the entire day.

Lucy and the others who weren't that well acquainted with the newly returned member were slowly introduced one at a time. Wendy took the time to introduce herself and charla, explaining that she was a sky dragon slayer. Juvia gave Lisanna a demonic stare as she muttered love rival. Gajeel coughed. He told her their names and that it was nice to meet her before dragging away Juvia. He then tossed her to Gray, who then panicked when she fainted.

Lucy noticed that Natsu didn't say much to her as he stared at Lisanna with a giant grin. She felt a bit… Upset? Angry? Hurt? It wasn't often that the rowdy dragon slayer ignored her presences completely.

She shook the feeling away and gave Lisanna a smile, "It's finally nice to meet you Lisanna! My name is Lucy Heartfilia. I joined the guild a few months ago. I'm a Celestial Mage!"

Lisanna was surprised and overjoyed, "Lucy! It's still so weird to be back here. Everyone in Edolas was so different compared to here haha!" Lucy remembered. She was shocked when she saw herself beat down natsu of all people! He was so timid and shy, and really cute, while her other self was fierce and rough, and a little bit scary.

Lucy giggled to herself, "That was pretty strange to see an alternate us honestly. But it's good to be back in Earthland." Lisanna nodded in agreement. She was going to say something else before she was suddenly dragged away by a very eager Natsu.

"N-Natsu! Wait a minute!" She fumed slightly before she hurriedly called to Lucy, waving her free hand, "It was nice to meet you, I hope we could talk again sometime?! Ah, Natsu! Wait! BYE LUCY!"

With that, she was kidnapped by the fire dragon slayer.

Lucy deflated a little. Why did she feel like something was wrong here?

Wendy and Juvia noticed the interaction between the three mages and looked at each other with worry.

Time skip: 2 months later

Lucy slumped against the counter silently. Wendy and Juvia were with her, glancing around in slight annoyance. Gajeel was also with them, but he was paying close attention to Levy as she discussed something with Jet and Droy.

If you're wondering why Lucy was depressed, well. The problem mainly lied with Natsu and Happy. She didn't want to believe it, or think it was possible, but it seemed like she had been forgotten. They barely talk to her anymore. Happy would do so from time to time when he catches her alone. But he would always drift back to...those two...

Actually, she realized that a lot of her guildmates had stopped talking to her in general. Whether it was intentional or not, she wouldn't know. She felt pretty sour about everything. And honestly, she had half a mind to start going solo with the amount of times Natsu and Happy spent their time with Lisanna.

She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard Charla and Wendy sigh together. She wondered what was young with the young dragon slayer.

"Hey Charla?" The white Exceed glanced at everyone with an aggravated look before shifting her attention to Wendy.

"It's already been two months. How do any of them still have the energy to party?" The white cat tsked, "Who knows child? Fairy Tail has always been a crazy kind of guild."

Juvia heard what they were saying and groaned to herself. She spoke up while laying her head on the counter tiredly, "Juvia is getting a bit annoyed with the constant partying. Erza and the master haven't really done anything to really stop it. Juvia doesn't know how much more she can take."

Gajeel grumbled under his breath, "Ain't much we can do. It had died down, considerin' how much crazier is was last month." Everyone thought about what was going on last month and instantly agreed with that thought. It really did die down compared to the insane fiasco everyone went through within that time frame.

Lucy sat up and called over to Mira quietly when she noticed her nearby. Mira gave Lucy a smile, "Hey Lucy!" She proceeded to greet everyone that was sitting at the bar, only to give a small frown when they only responded with small sighs and groans.

"What's up you guys? Is everything alright?" Mirajane was concerned with the group. They seemed exhausted and annoyed,

Charla almost had half a mind to actually start hissing. What was wrong? The Partying for Two months straight is what was wrong! In the time she's been here, this was the most ridiculous thing she has experienced since they had joined. At best, the longest amount of time the guild partied was only for about 3 weeks.

Wendy gave her friend a small pat on the head. She could feel the anger radiating from the exceed. Wendy couldn't really blame her. She herself was starting to get a bit tired of everyone constantly bringing up Lisanna. But there was something that was concerning her more than how the guild had been behaving.

She gave Lucy a small side glance. She had noticed a month ago that everyone still interacts with the others just fine. So how come Lucy is being ignored by all of her friends? What had changed?

Lucy waved Mira's question off and chuckled sourly, "There's nothing wrong Mira. I was just wondering if I could get a Strawberry Milkshake? And maybe some cake as well?"

Mirajane wanted to bring up something, but decided against it. She wrote what she wanted down in a notebook and questioned if anyone wanted anything before she left.

A hand went up quietly. "Could I also get one as well Mira-san? Could I have the same thing Lucy-san is getting please?" Wendy asked shyly. Charla mumbled under her breath, asking if she could get some cake as well. Mirajane agreed.

Mira gave the small girl a pat on the head, "Of course! Just give me a second to prepare it okay?" Once she was certain that no one else wanted anything, she started to leave the counter but stopped when she looked behind Lucy.

"Hey Lisanna! Is there anything I can do for you?"

"I'll have the same thing they're getting Sis! But Chocolate!" Lucy stiffened at the sudden voice and gulped. She didn't have many opportunities to have a proper conversation with her. And honestly, she wasn't sure if she wanted to. Some part of her, deep down, kind of started to resent Lisanna.

Lisanna grinned ear to ear as she leaned against the bar. Gajeel took that as a chance to get up and drag Levy away from whatever she was doing. Lucy shrunk in her seat. She felt a bit bitter when the animal takeover mage came over suddenly.

She was wondering where that idiot was.

"Lis! Let's do a mission with everyone soon alright? And could I get some fire chicken Mira?!"

"Aye! Can I get fish?!" Happy shouted out in excitement.

Mira giggled, "Of course. Just give me a few minutes you guys. I'll be right back." With that, she turned and headed towards the kitchen.

Lucy jumped once again.

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. Natsu had his arms behind his head as he strolled over. Happy hovered above his head and grinned at Lucy when he noticed her sitting next to them, "Morning Lushie!" He took the time to plop in front of her and give her a hug before bothering Charla. Lucy smiled quietly at the cat.

Charla hid a small smile when the blue exceed came over to confess his love like always.

Natsu seemed to suddenly remember Lucy's presence before making eye contact. For some reason, some part of him felt bad and guilty that he forgot about Lucy this whole time. He was just excited that Lisanna was really back, and wanted to hang out with her as much as possible.

He flashed Lucy one of his signature grins, "Hey Luce, do you want to join Lis and I on a mission? We thought of going with the team again!"

Lucy didn't know how to feel about his question. Why did he even ask? Weren't they on a team to begin with? Weren't they already partners?! No wait, Of course they were still partners. He must have been too excited to see Lisanna again. That must be why he ignored her this whole time. Yeah…

Her thought process was interrupted when Mirajane placed her milkshake and slice of cake in front of her. She gratefully thanked her and took a small sip. The rich and refreshing sweetness of the Strawberry flavored milkshake made her sour mood lift a bit. She grabbed a fork and shoved some cake in her mouth, holding back a squeal at the deliciousness.

Mira gave everyone their things before telling them she'll see them in a bit before walking away to tend to others.

Lucy thought to herself. It would be better to just go on the mission. That way she would be able to pay her rent. She was behind on a few things. She didn't have enough time to be able to get anything done while the partying was going on. She didn't notice the nervous look in Natsu's eyes as she thought to herself. She simply huffed and stated a sure thing before going back to her yummy dessert and drink.

Natsu grinned before screaming an, 'I'm all fired up!'. He then proceeded to wrap an arm around Lucy's shoulder, giving her a small hug before he grabbed his fire chicken and took off.

Lisanna rolled her eyes at her friend's antics. A small pink hue stained her cheeks as she watched the Pink haired dragon slayer run off to go eat and mess with someone.

Lucy felt very uncomfortable when she saw this. What the hell were they playing at? They're acting like they're a... Lucy froze. No. Definitely not. She shook her head to get rid of her imagination that was starting to form. There is no possible way.

She still wondered about a lot of things. Like why she was suddenly forgotten by everyone in the guild. 'Maybe they saw me as some kind of replacement for Lisanna? Could that be why I've been ignored by everyone?'

She scowled. Regardless if that was the case or not, you would think more people would start talking to her again. She sucked her milkshake viciously.

While she was preoccupied with her thoughts, she didn't notice the blank stare Lisanna was giving her on the side. Nor did she notice the slight concern in her eyes. Lisanna had wanted to talk to her for a while, but Natsu was always around her, dragging her everywhere. She didn't mind. She really missed the silly dragon slayer.

"You doing alright Lucy? It's been a while since we last talked." Lisanna turned to lean on the counter in a more comfortable position. Lucy frowned a little but gave her a small smile, "It's nothing Lisanna. Thanks for asking." Lucy grinned a little. She couldn't find any reason to hate the girl.

Lisanna smiled. She was glad Lucy was holding up alright, even if that was a lie. She had noticed that a lot of people had stopped talking to her. She doesn't know the reason why. It made her feel bad for the blonde.

Lisanna told Lucy and the others that she would see them later before walking over to Natsu with her milkshake. He was too busy laughing like a maniac, swinging gray's underwear in a circle.

Lucy felt the sour mood return full force as she took another bite of her cake. She couldn't describe the feeling she was experiencing. Whether it was Jealousy or anger, she didn't want to admit to either of those emotions. She sighed once again in defeat.

Pushing away from the bar, she got up and stretched. She told Wendy that she was going to head home for the day. Wendy bid her farewell. Happy waved Lucy goodbye and that he would try to visit her later.

Lucy shook her head and gave him a smile before leaving. She figured that either Lisanna or Natsu would let her know when they were going to go on a mission soon.

As soon as she walked out of the guild, she booked it towards her apartment. Throwing the door open, she rushed to her bedroom and plopped on her bed face first. All of the emotions that she had been holding back came out in giant tears.

She sobbed quietly to herself, wondering what was happening. And wondered why Natsu had stopped paying attention to her. She really missed hanging out with the Dragon slayer.

Time skip: Mission Start! A few days Later

Lucy sighed to herself slightly. Lisanna, in the end, was the one who told her about the mission everyone was going to do, and that they were going to meet up really early the next day. Lucy had summoned plue before she met up with everyone so that she wasn't too lonely.

Looking up at the group, she pouted silently. They were heading over to the location now. She felt a little out of place as she followed Team Natsu towards their destination. Natsu and the rest were deep in a conversation with Lisanna. She didn't know exactly what they were talking about.

She looked at the paper that Erza had given her and huffed. Plue shook quietly and gave her a small pat. Lucy thanked the celestial spirit before looking over the paper once more.

It seemed like some sort of an Acidic monster was terrorizing Onibus Town. It says that it had severely injured several citizens, had destroyed many houses, and was melting everything in its path. They also claimed that it was as tall as the trees in the forests. And was as big as a giant boulder. The paper also mentioned that it had a few smaller monsters going around and kidnapping and attacking people as well.

The way they described the monster made Lucy think that they were over-exaggerating the actual size of it. Almost like it was a joke. But Lucy didn't care given the fact that they were paying a hefty amount of Jewels for subduing the beast.

She glanced at her team's back and bit her lip. She placed a hand on her keys and sighed in comfort when the keys warmed and buzzed against her fingers. She also gave Plue a tight squeeze to comfort herself. Lucy was glad she had her spirits with her at least. She didn't feel all that alone.

Happy looked behind them on a whim and noticed Lucy trudging along quietly in the back. She was really deep in thought as she held the paper in her hand. He also noticed that Plue was with her as well. He stopped a bit, a sad look appeared on his face, which alerted Natsu to see what his buddy was doing all of a sudden.

Natsu noticed Happy's attention was behind him. He followed his gaze and frowned. Another pang hit his chest when he saw the dejected Blonde lagging behind them. There was quite a distance between them. Happy fluttered over to try to talk to her, but she brushed it off, simply saying that she was just tired from lack of sleep.

Happy understood, but still felt like something was off. But he couldn't bring himself to really ask her what was going on. So he simply fluttered on top of her head and stayed put. Lucy pouted. She felt eyes on her and glanced up. Her heart jumped when her eyes connected with Natsu's gaze. They seemed to be filled with some sort of hidden sadness and guilt.

She didn't like the look he was giving her, She gave him a weak smile before turning her attention to the ground. She did her best to avoid his gaze. She didn't understand why he suddenly had that look. She huffed to herself in anger.

Natsu felt really bad. He wanted to go over and try to talk to her, but Erza started talking to him. He took one last glance at Lucy before he focused on the conversation that was going on.

The time it took to reach the town went by in a blur. Lucy didn't remember how long it took them to reach Onibus Town. But she certainly did remember how horrible it was once they had arrived. She was shocked by the sudden stench of rotten meat, and was utterly horrified when she saw the monster that they had to get rid of.

The monster really was as tall as a tree, and was as huge as a boulder! The…. skin that covered its body was a sickly green. A disgusting Green and yellow pus oozed out of the skin. There was this dark purple layer of liquid that covered its skin as well. Probably poison or something. The thing itself emanated a smell that was almost like death and sickness.

She couldn't see anything that resembled eyes on the creature. It's mouth was just as terrifying. It stretched to a certain extent when it made this ghostly, whining tone. It made everyone's skin crawl. Happy was so frightened that he instantly flew to a nearby tree to hide.

Every time the liquid hit the ground, it would melt everything underneath. Lucy felt sick looking at it. She noticed Natsu had pushed Lisanna behind him as he stood protectively. A sharp tug hit her.

There were many miniature monsters that roamed around it. Attacking everything and anything they could get their slimy hands on. The smaller monsters looked like miniature versions of the giant beast. Except, they had abnormal looking legs. It reminded her of needles. They had spikes going up their spines, and it looked like they had extra appendages sticking out of their bodies at different angles.

They all got into a fighting stance. They would have to get this done as quickly as possible in order to minimize the damages.

"Get ready you guys! Lisanna, Lucy and Gray, Take care of the smaller monsters and focus on evacuating the rest of the citizens!" Erza commanded as she quickly requiped into her Heaven's wheel armor.

She dashed forward and started to attack the disgusting thing.

It screeched angrily at the threat and started to attack the group. Gray and Lisanna took off towards the smaller monsters that were kidnapping some people nearby. "Animal Soul: Harpy!" Lisanna transformed, her arms turned into wings and her legs turned into bird-like appendages.

She rushed forward to grab a few people that were being assaulted and proceeded to summon up some wind, directing it towards the beasts.

Gray summoned his Ice magic. "Ice make: Floor!" He slammed his fists down onto the ground, turning the surrounding area of the ground into ice. He partially froze some of the monsters in place as they screeched and struggled.

One of them spat out a gooey glob of greenish purple acid out at Lisanna. She squeaked and dived away from it. "Animal Soul: Cat!" Her appearance changed to the point where she had ears and a tail. Her claws popped out as she rushed forward and swiped. "Run for cover! Hurry!" The people that she had saved thanked her before running off.

Gray was a bit surprised that she was able to handle herself. He grinned and continued to fight off the smaller ones. "Ice make: Hammer!" He created a large hammer and only slammed it down when Lisanna jumped away. "Nice going Gray!"

She gave him a grin before looking over at Natsu and the others. She was shocked when she saw the monster swipe over at Lucy. "Ah! Look Out Lucy!" She gave a small sigh of relief when she rolled out of the way.

Lucy was a bit thankful that Lisanna alerted her in time. She had her whip out and was using it as defense temporarily. Assisting Natsu and Erza as some more of the smaller ones started to rush towards them.

Lisanna noticed that there was a smaller one creeping behind the celestial mage and she rushed over in an effort to help her. But it seemed like Mavis was against her when she suddenly felt herself trip over something. She looked down and saw she tripped over a small child.

The child was covered in bruises and dirt. He was curled up in a ball, covering his head as he wailed in fright. "Mommy! Mommy help me! Mommy where are you?! Whaaaaaaa!"

A high-pitched gurgling and trilling echoed the area. Heavy steps shook the ground as the acidic monster knocked Erza away from it. Successfully causing her to collide into Natsu.

It drooled when its attention was redirected to the small human curled up in the middle of the fighting. It made a whining sound before it charged over. Mouth opening up wide.

Lisanna's body went on autopilot when she saw the giant monster rushing for the child hungrily. She twisted her body so that she landed on all fours. She then used the momentum to push herself off the ground. She reached out and hugged the child close, sliding to a halt before kneeling. She looked up when she saw the mouth of the monster directly in front of her. Everything around her disappeared as she looked the monster in the mouth. It was so close.

She crouched, eyes closed in fear. She was terrified. She didn't want to die again! She finally returned to her home! She can't lose her place again!

Whatever happened next happened in a blur. Lisanna couldn't register the sudden force that came from her side. She was pushed to the ground. The strength of the push caused her to roll on the ground harshly. She skidded to a sudden halt as Natsu grabbed her quickly.

She looked up in shock. Lucy was in her place. Her arms were outstretched, indicating that she had been the one who pushed her out of the way. The last thing she saw was the relieved and exhausted expression on Lucy's face before she was consumed by the hungry monster.

Natsu and Erza were focused on the giant acidic monster, each attacking different parts of its body in order to find a way to damage it. Nothing was working so far and it was making them frustrated. Natsu shot a fireball at the monster, it gurgled in pain before spitting acid at the two. They jumped out of the way just in time. The acid hit the ground, melting the pavement. It created a medium sized crater.

"Nothing is working! Fire Dragon's ROAR!" A stream of fire burst out of his mouth. It burnt a part of the monster's skin. Erza took the opportunity to send a wave of swords into its unexposed side. The fire had caused some of the liquid that was surrounding the monster to evaporate for only a moment.

The monster screeched once again and swiped at them. Natsu got hit and was sent flying into a few nearby trees. Erza launched at it once again, slashing the monster in the face. That seemed to do something because it yelped and took a step back.

While Natsu and Erza were focusing on the giant one, Lucy had realized that the smaller were starting to come for them in waves. She scowled before she summoned taurus to help her fight them off. She took off her whip and started to lash at the monsters. Gripping one of them by the neck and sending them flying towards the ground. She managed to knock out a few others before they got back up to charge.

Lucy had done this a few more times, but realized she wouldn't be able to keep them at a certain distance anymore. She ended up going into hand to hand combat. She knew she wasn't strong enough to fight them physically, but she needed to keep them away from the others. She glanced around and noticed that Gray and Lisanna were faring better than she was.

A dark thought ended up overcoming her thought. She felt weak and useless. Perhaps she was weak. She was having trouble protecting herself from these monsters. Why did she even come in the first place? They didn't need her here. She shook her head, she couldn't think like that in this type of situation right now!

She instantly focused. She continued to attack with all her might, deciding to try and lead them away from the others a little. She ran a bit further away as Taurus slammed his axe down. "RAMPAGE!" A mini shockwave in the earth knocked several away at once. The ones that had flown didn't bother getting back up again.

Lucy huffed as she did her best to protect herself with her whip. She didn't know why, but she suddenly felt really exhausted and drained. Her magic felt like it was almost gone. It made her feel really weak. A dull headache started to form too. Slowly spreading little by little across her head. There was a subtle pounding in her head. It started to distract her a bit, which bothered her. She grabbed another key and summoned Loke.

Loke instantly took off and started to protect Lucy. They fought back to back for several minutes before a sudden dizzy spell hit her full on for a few seconds. Her vision blurred for a bit, dark spots flitting across her line of sight. She paused a bit to hold her head. That was strange. Really strange. She felt... Off.

Somehow, she managed to glance up to the side, wincing in slight pain and her eyes widened. She saw Erza get slammed into Natsu who grunted at the force. She then realized that the monster's attention wasn't on them anymore as it rushed off into a different direction. Acid spilling from its mouth as it let out a high-pitch gurgle.

She looked at where it was heading and gasped. She saw Lisanna holding a small child tightly in her arms. She could see the terrified expression on her face as she curled herself around the child protectively. She heard Natsu and Gray screaming to Lisanna to get out of the way. She noticed Natsu trying to run towards Lisanna in an effort to save her from danger, but she knew somehow that he wasn't going to be able to make it.

The surrounding noise had turned into a buzzing sound. It was muffled as Lucy's feet started to carry her towards the two. Her body was moving instinctively. She couldn't let anything happen to Lisanna. No one would be happy if something happened to her. Plus she's technically the closest to her right now. She had to save them both!

Her heart rate picked up as her feet slammed into the pavement. She was already exhausted, and having her spirits out while she had the dizzy spell didn't do her any justice.

'I'm not going to make it! I'm not going to be able to make it in time! But I have to! Oh Mavis, Let me reach them in time!'

She dimly remembered hearing Loke screaming for her to stop. She somewhat remembered feeling the connection to her two celestial spirits snap. She didn't have enough energy to keep them open as she was running on pure adrenaline. 'I have to get there! Please let me reach them first!'

Everything went in slow motion as she kicked off the ground. She remembered making contact with Lisanna, successfully pushing her and the child out of the way of the raging monster. She remembered feeling extremely exhausted and relieved when she made contact. And she remembered seeing their stunned expressions.

'I… I made it in time, thank mavis… '

Then… Everything went black.

Natsu, Lisanna, Erza and Gray were petrified at what just happened. Lisanna was just in harm's way. But someone had just pushed her away from certain death. It took a while before it registered in everyone's mind just what exactly had happened, and who it was that had just saved Lisanna. It also didn't take long for Natsu to start freaking out.

"LUCE! NO!"

"Shit. LUCY!" When the monster made an audible gulping sound, that triggered everyone into a flying rage.

"GIVE HER BACK! FIRE DRAGON'S SWORD HORN!"

Gray, Erza, and Natsu rushed over and violently started to attack the monster. Lisanna was absolutely stupefied. Lucy had just saved her. But at what cost? She just risked her life to save them!

She looked down at the child and sighed in relief that he was safe. He was shaking really hard and clung to her tightly. She took it upon herself to get themselves to safety and look after them.

'I hope you're okay Lucy... Thank You!'

When Lucy woke up, she groaned slightly. She shakily sat up, rubbing her head. What happened? Where was she? She slowly opened her eyes and squinted in the darkness. She hissed suddenly when something fell on her. It burned at her skin and she yelped, trying to rub the pain away.

She stood up on unsteady legs as she glanced around. She tried to recall what happened before it went dark. She thought about fighting the smaller group of monsters before she ended up getting dizzy.

Her eyes widened when she remembered how she forced herself to run faster than she ever had before when she saw the monster about to eat Lisanna and the child in her arms.

Oh mavis. Please tell me she isn't where she thought she was. As if to answer her question, she heard the fighting from outside and was thrown off her feet. She slid on her side and screamed when a blob of acid landed on the exposed side of her abdomen.

She cried in pain and curled up to a fetal position to try to stop the intense pain she was feeling. After a bit of time, the pain started to go away on its own. Sweat covered Lucy's forehead as she reached for her key, "O-Open gate of the Lion! I-I open thee: LEO!"

A golden flash lit the area brightly. Lucy blinked at the sudden light that filled the space. "Princess! Have you gone mad!" Loke was pissed. Not only did he end up seeing Lucy rush away from them towards the monster, but he felt the lack of magic in her. He was worried sick and was trying his best to wait for her to call him again, in hopes that she was alright.

He was relieved when she called him once again, only to get angry once more when he saw the injury when he lit the area.

He made quick work of the wound. Wrapping it with some bandages that he brought with him just in case. Lucy gave him a breathless thank you before he helped her to her feet. He pushed his glasses up, growling at the fact that it was pretty dark.

"Where the hell are we anyways?" Lucy muttered a small, 'I don't know'. She wanted to know just as much as he did. Or well, she doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that she could have been eaten alive by the monster.

Loke raised his hand up and summoned some light to his fist, lighting some more of the space so that they could see their surrounding. Lucy and Loke felt their hearts drop when they felt something off about where they were. They felt like they weren't alone. Several trilling noises were heard coming from all around.

The monsters that Lucy, Gray and Lisanna were fighting off appeared from the darkness. More and more started to expose themselves and Lucy felt like dying. Lucy and Loke turned back to back. He swore under his breath. This wasn't looking good. Not good at all.

"Looks like we're going to have to fight our way out of its stomach huh princess?" Lucy's face was grime when she heard that. She honestly didn't know if she could take much more.

It wasn't long before the monsters launched themselves at the duo. They cursed and started to do what they could to defend themselves. Lucy proceeded to summon Taurus to help gain the upper hand. It was going well, they were doing well watching each other's backs.

But Lucy got distracted for a second when she heard Loke yelp in pain. He had been pinned to the ground as the monsters piled on top. "REGULUS IMPACT!" A golden light shone under the pile of bodies and launched them in different directions.

Because Lucy was distracted, she wasn't able to dodge a swipe to her chest. She learned quickly that their claws were covered in poisonous acid. Her shirt where she had been hit had begun to dissolve at an alarming rate. She was pulled back by Taurus just in time to avoid another attack.

A sudden pounding over took Lucy's head. It had started as a dull throbbing. And slowly grew into a sharper kind of pounding in her head. A sharp pain struck the inside of her brain. She suddenly screamed in anguish. She dropped to her knees as she clung to her head desperately. What was going on? Why did it feel like someone had driven several knives and nails into her head, and was twisting it savagely deep into her skull? This alarmed both of the Celestial Spirits. It was too sudden.

"LUCY!?"

"LUCY-SAN?!"

Taurus and Loke yelled out of concern to their celestial master. What the hell was going on?! Loke ran over to try and see what was wrong, doing his best to protect her on the ground. Taurus stayed a certain distance and did his best to keep them enemies at bay.

Lucy took shallow breaths. It was starting to become unbearable for her. She couldn't think and couldn't focus on what was happening. She felt something deep in her chest bubble up, and suddenly felt a growl escape her throat.

This shocked her, but she didn't have time to wonder why she growled as her body started to heat up to the point where it felt like she was burning from the inside out. She shrieked in pain. Her body convulsed harshly, it almost seemed like she was having a seizure.

The next thing that happened stunned everyone, even Lucy herself. A giant shock wave of magic erupted from her body, knocking all of the monsters away in an instant. Lucy felt a strange, yet familiar magic swirl within her blood. Within her spirit. She was scared and confused. Why was this happening? What was happening?!

The pain that she was feeling moments before disappeared. It was suddenly replaced by a gentle and comforting warmth. She felt more energized. More stronger. More Alive. She felt like her senses had amplified significantly. She could actually hear what was happening outside and could hear her teammates shouting out spells.

She glanced at her hands. She marveled at the sudden aura that engulfed her. She was covered in this golden white light. It felt warm and snug as it covered her entire being. Her body tingled with the new magic that invaded her. It was strange, but at the same time, it felt right.

Loke was marveling at his friend. Lucy was engulfed in the golden white light. He for some reason, felt his magic grow a bit stronger than before. He also noticed that his connection to her had strengthened a ton. He was a bit weirded out, but he took the chance to jump back into the fight and help Taurus.

A sudden "POP" was heard in the midst of the whining and snarls. She felt something twitch on top of her head. It twitched at the loud sounds the monsters were making. She reached up to touch her head slowly and stiffened when she felt something that resembled animal ears sitting on top of her head. Almost like Loke's ears, if not pointer and larger.

She felt that there was an extra part of herself coming from behind on her tailbone. She glanced behind her and gaped at the sight. There was a rather bushy, yet silky, soft blonde tail sitting behind her. Within the dark, that's all she could make out. Lucy's eyes followed where it was attached and squeaked.

It was attached to her.

Loke and Taurus looked at each other in bewilderment before taking another look at her. She suddenly grew a pair of ears and a tail. Loke noticed that her hair also seemed to have grown a bit longer. Which was strange.

Loke walked over to her to inspect the changes of his friend. "Are...You okay Lucy?" The monsters hadn't attacked them. It seemed like they were startled. He took the chance to examine her ears and tail.

Lucy looked up at Loke with wide eyes. What the fuck just happened to her? Why does she have ears and a tail?! And what's with this new feeling in her blood? She seemed to think of something.

She ran her tongue over her teeth to see if she had fangs. To her surprise, there was a sharp pair of elongated fangs. Almost like Natsu's, if not sharper. Lucy was thoroughly freaked out by the situation. Lucy wanted to admire and inspect herself a bit more, but the monsters around them had other ideas.

They all made a mixture of noises before rushing towards the three. Lucy instinctively stood up and words suddenly spilled out of her mouth. Her body moved on its own. She positioned her hands in a rather complex way, "Celestial Gravitation!" Gravity pulled all of the monsters down to the ground instantly. They were having trouble getting up at the sudden weight and pressure that suddenly surrounded them all.

That was weird. 'How did I do that? How did I even know what to say?! What did I just do?'

A thought passed Lucy's mind in the next second. She still needed a way to escape. She turned her attention to the stomach wall and more words spilled out of her mouth. It was like muscle memory. She let her mind take control of her actions. She chanted as her eyes flashed a deep amber and gold. She got into a position that was similar to when Natsu uses his Roar.

She didn't see the golden particles that swarmed in the air as she suddenly took a deep breath. She pulled something from deep within her guts and Howled.

"Celestial Wolf Slaying HOWWWWLLL!" The sound of a wolf howl echoed throughout the area, shaking the air. A rush of tiny gold and silver stars burst out of her mouth. She noticed that there were a bunch of elements mixed in with her howl as it slammed into the wall. The howl itself was almost the size of the entrance hall of the guild. She pushed more of her magic into her howl.

She planted her feet and increased the amount of magic that escaped her body. The howling sound increased in volume, it almost sounded washed out as the magic intensified. If anyone saw the howl, they would think that they were looking at the night sky glittering with tiny, bright stars. It almost looked like wind escaping her mouth as it mixed in with many specks of glowing lights, each an element of their own. It dealt massive damage and the next thing she knew, everything around her exploded to brightness.

Natsu couldn't understand what the hell happened. They had been attacking the damn monster close to thirty minutes. Nothing was working! It just kept getting back up!

He was starting to get desperate. 'Lucy could die if we don't save her! I can't let her die on me!'

"LUCY! ANSWER ME! DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!"

"Calm down Flame Brain! Lucy isn't dead!" Gray shouted at Natsu as he blocked an attack from the monster. Lisanna was hiding with Happy, so they were able to focus on saving Lucy.

Erza was knocked back. She was huffing as she requiped once again into her Black Wing Armor. She took a minute to look for any openings and growled when she couldn't find any.

They were exhausted. They barely left a scratch on the monster! Natsu was about to attack it once more when he paused. He heard it before he smelt it. He could hear a distinctive sound of a wolf howling from somewhere. He couldn't figure out where it was coming from. And it only seemed to get louder somehow.

He sniffed the air, taking a deep breath. The intense smell of strawberries and honey wafted into his nose.

That was Lucy's smell.

She was still alive!

Natsu was ecstatic. He noticed another smell that mixed in with hers. It smelled like stardust. And like Rain.

The monster seemed to pause in its attack and freeze. Shaking here and there. Natsu, Gray and Erza were confused. Why did it stop attacking?. The monster gave out a low groan and shrieked in pain. It's body started to convulse wildly. It released another ear-piercing scream before it slowly started to expand outwards. The monster was clawing at itself, in a desperate attempt to stop whatever was happening.

Natsu felt something bad was about to happen. He shouted at everyone hurriedly, "EVERYONE! GET DOWN NOW! IT'S GOING TO BLOW-"

The monster exploded like a nuclear bomb. The shockwave of it was extremely intense and sent everyone flying. Natsu skidded on the concrete before he managed to stop himself fully. He covered his head as debris and dust attacked them. The wind from the blast soared over them harshly for several seconds before it died down.

He, along with everyone lese coughed at the dust that filled the air. Natsu groaned at the pain that was currently coursing through his body. He glanced up, gaping at the remains of what looked like golden glitter in the air where the monster used to be. He squinted when he saw a figure. He swore that he saw a shadow with some sort of animal features. Maybe Loke? He shook that idea out of his head. He swore he saw a tail as well. And Loke doesn't have a tail.

He was shocked when Loke stepped out of the dust cloud with Lucy in his arms. She was subconscious. She had a few injuries that decorated her body. He saw that a part of her shirt had melted off. And that her side was bleeding. Loke was stunned to hell at what had occurred. But he didn't have time to question anything. He set Lucy down gently before disappearing. He was going to have to discuss with everyone about her… recent changes.

Natsu didn't pay attention to anything as he got up and ran. He sprinted over to Lucy like his life depended on it. Natsu got on his knees and strained to listen for a heart beat. You can imagine the overwhelming relief he felt when he heard her breathing steadily, her heart pounding stronger than ever.

He picked her up bridal style and hugged her tightly to himself, "Gods Luce. You scared the fuck out of me there. I'm sorry I haven't been hanging out with you lately. I'm so glad you're alive." Gray and the others rushed over to check to see if she was alright. They were given one hell of a fright when she had been eaten by the monster.

They were glad when they saw that she was breathing. But they noticed she was slightly pale. Lisanna came out of hiding with Happy and stared at Lucy quietly. Happy whimpered as he plopped himself onto Lucy's stomach, being mindful of her injuries. Lisanna didn't know how to feel when she saw the blonde. She continued to stare before something caught her eye.

"Uhh.. Guys?"

They all looked over at her in wonderment. She carefully pointed at Lucy's head, "Lucy's hair is longer, and it's different from earlier. And there's something on her stomach."

They all looked down at Lucy, trying to figure out what she was looking at, before they understood her concern.

Lucy's hair had gotten a lot longer for some reason. It was probably now at her waist, if not a little past that. She also had some noticeable highlights in her hair. Like silver and pink stands. It actually made her a lot prettier. And there were strange markings that covered a certain part of her body. It almost looked like a small tattoo of some sort. It looked like a crescent moon with a star in the center of it. It glowed a soft lavender color before it faded.

Natsu couldn't help but notice that her smell had changed a little bit as well. He noticed it before when the monster was alive, but now that she was in his arms, it was a lot stronger than before. He also noticed that she seems to have lost a bit of weight, not that she wasn't skinny already. But it was concerning to the dragon slayer.

Natsu stared at her more and ended up noticing a lot of small details he hadn't thought of. Like how long her eyelashes were, how round her face was, how plump and soft looking her lips were, and how tiny her nose was. She looked really adorable-

Natsu snapped out of his trance with a slightly red face. What was he thinking about towards his best friend?! That was so out of the blue!

Erza suggested scoping out the area for any stragglers and to clean up some of the mess before they headed back to the guild to report what had transpired. It took them a bit of time before they returned. Natsu didn't leave Lucy alone for a second, even while he had motion sickness when they took the train back.

Once they returned to the guild, Erza called for Wendy to come help Lucy. Wendy gasped in shock when she saw her. She hurriedly followed Natsu up to the infirmary. She quickly got to work in healing Lucy as soon as he put her on the bed. Natsu stared quietly at Lucy while Wendy used her healing magic.

He sniffed the air. It really did change. It was strawberries and Honey, but it was mixed with the stardust and rain scent. It was strange. He sat next to her when Wendy finished up and reported that she was alright. She told him that she was knocked into a mini coma, and that she should possibly be awake within the next few hours.

He thanked the young dragon slayer before he turned his attention back to the sleeping blonde.

The rest of team natsu and Lisanna came up to check up on the two of them. They were really relieved that Lucy was alive and alright. Lisanna walked out of the room with mixed feelings. She saw how Natsu was worrying over the blonde girl.

She sighed and went down to Mirajane, who was currently wiping the bar.

After a while, the remaining members of Team Natsu came out of the room and sat at a table together. Erza excused herself from the group to go report the events that had transpired to the master.

Natsu was in deep thought. Gray seemed to have the same thought process as he did, "Why did the monster explode? We could barely do any damage on the outside."

Natsu stayed silent. Happy raised a paw with a worried expression, "That was weird how it blew up like that. Do you think Lushie did something?" The three of them thought about it. It was possible, but they knew that Lucy couldn't manage something like that… Right?

Makarov came out of the office and walked to the infirmary with Erza.

Natsu noticed along with Gray and Happy and went up a second time to see what they were going to do.

Makarov watched Lucy with a deep gaze while Erza continued to report the outcome of the mission. He sighed to himself deeply. 'It seems like it finally happened huh? What am I supposed to do now Layla? Your daughter seemed to have awakened her new powers.'

Natsu and the others came into the room and surrounded Lucy. They all watched her while they discussed the rest of what happened with Lisanna before they heard a small groan. Natsu straightened up first, watching as Lucy shifted in the bed.

Her eyes fluttered open, blinking away at the bright light. Where was she? And what happened to that monster? She tried to remember what happened. She sat up, holding her head. A small throbbing sensation hit her.

"Luce?" Lucy looked towards her left and saw Natsu standing there with Happy. They looked really nervous and worried. She frowned. She glanced around and noticed that team natsu, including Wendy and Master Makarov were in the room, looking at her.

She muttered softly, doing her best to not agitate her headache, "What happened? When did we return to the guild? And how long was I out for?" Wendy stepped up to check her health, "You guys came back a little while ago. Surprisingly, you've only been out for a few hours. How do you feel Lucy-san?"

Lucy blinked once, "Uh.. I feel alright, minus this headache that I'm having. And exhausted…" Wendy nodded and casted her healing magic once more. Patching up anything that she missed. She also casted some magic on her head and Lucy sighed. The headache disappeared.

"Thanks Wendy." Wendy smiled before backing off. Erza spoke in a stern tone, "You gave us a fright Lucy. Why did you risk yourself in rushing to save Lisanna?" Lucy felt sour. Why? Isn't it because she was Nakama? She was the closest one that would be able to reach her. If I didn't… What would have happened?

Gray cleared his throat, "What she meant to say is, why did you put yourself in danger like that? We were really worried about you! You could have gotten yourself killed!"

Lucy felt upset. She saved Lisanna. But why are they reprimanding her all of a sudden? That wasn't fair! Did they think I was some weak girl who can't defend myself?

Lucy growled slowly. This startled the group, "If I didn't rush out to save Lisanna, then what? You guys were too far away to reach her in time! If anything happened to her… She just got back! I wasn't going to let her experience death a second time! Because you all would have been devastated if something happened to her!"

"...SO what. You think that's okay to sacrifice yourself like that?! Do you know how worried we were Luce? How worried I was?!" Lucy paused in shock. Natsu was pissed. He understood her intention, but she wouldn't have been able to save herself in that situation! She put herself in harm's way! She could have died!

Lucy was stunned. Are you kidding me right now? Why are they getting so upset? "You all ignored me for more than a month already! It only seemed that within the last few days, you all seemed to remember I existed! You all were more preoccupied with her! How do you think I felt this whole time?! I don't deserve any of this! And What about Lisanna huh?! She had rushed to go save a kid, but you guys aren't going to yell at her for trying to save someone else right?" This made the group pause. Lisanna heard the ruckus and went up to see what was going on. She paused when she saw Lucy clench the blanket in fury.

"You guys must think I'm weak or something! I know I am! You guys don't have to spell it out! But what about Lisanna huh? You guys wouldn't have been able to get to her on time! I was Lucky that I managed to survive getting eaten by that monster. Lisanna probably wouldn't have survived! She was also protecting a child as well! There's no way she would have managed!"

Erza and Gray were about to retort, saying that she could handle herself just fine, but Lucy cut them off, "Don't even go there. Even if she managed to survive being eaten alive, she wouldn't have survived the aftermath! Inside of the monster were a least a 100. Maybe a 1000 of those smaller ones! I barely managed to get by! I was glad that Loke and Taurus were there to help me! If she had gotten eaten, she would have to attempt to defend herself and a defenseless child!"

Lucy was getting agitated. They have no right to get angry at her for doing something reckless like that!

Natsu scratched his head in frustration. Why did she say that she was weak? We weren't saying that she was! We were just concerned! Especially me! Lisanna just came back. But Lucy had been here for awhile… If.. If something had happened to her…

Lisanna walked into the room. A guilty expression on her face. "She's right guys. I wouldn't have been able to do anything either. I was really scared when that monster was right there in front of me. I couldn't move. I was terrified and everything. If Lucy hadn't saved me, I.. probably wouldn't be here anymore."

Erza and Gray went quiet. They never said that Lucy was weak. They realized they acted too rash in reprimanding the girl. She just escaped death, if barely. Erza frowned, "Lucy. No one said that you were weak. Why you would think and believe that is beyond me. But you aren't weak.. We… We were just worried…" Erza felt a bit nervous.

Gray crossed his arms, "You're a strong member of Fairy Tail. We're sorry we haven't talked to you within the past few months. We were preoccupied with Lisanna…" Lucy didn't want their apology. They had done too much. But she couldn't be mad. She understood their concerns.

Natsu walked over and grabbed her hand. Lucy involuntarily turned pink and looked at him in confusion. "It wasn't intended for us to forget about you. The fact the Lisanna was alive had distracted us. We're sorry. I'm sorry. That we haven't been around. I've been keeping an eye on you when I got the chance." Happy agreed, "We would feel bad when we saw you alone. We wanted to come over to talk, But we were afraid that it was just a dream."

Lucy remained quiet as she listened. Despite them really missing Lisanna, wasn't all of this uncalled for?

Makarov cleared his throat, interrupting their thoughts. "The reason why I didn't stop them from partying was to see how they would behave. It made me disappointed that everyone left Lucy out of the fray." Everyone flinched and dropped their heads. They wouldn't be able to make an excuse for that.

"But.. Lucy my dear. Everyone was worried about you. Wendy and Juvia would discuss with everyone that what they were doing was unfair." Wendy nodded. She tried to talk about Lucy to others, but they would pretend not to hear her. It made her upset, but there was nothing that could be done.

Lucy sighed. She didn't know how to feel about everything. It was only two months. But that was the first time she had ever felt that lonely. Even when she was living at home, she never felt that lonely. "I really want to not forgive you all. Because that wasn't fair to me. But… I guess I could…" They all smiled at what she said.

Natsu was the happiest out of them all. Turned out he won't lose his best friend after all! Natsu was going to say something when Lucy suddenly sneezed. A popping sound filled the silence.

Natsu, gray, Erza, and everyone else in the room were shocked. Lucy herself didn't know what was wrong when she noticed the weirded out expressions. Until she felt a twitch on top of her head. She suddenly remembered that part she couldn't think of.

She had some sort of new magic! And she had ears and a tail and some point to! How could she forget something as important as that?!

"L-luce?" She looked up at Natsu who was staring in awe. Wendy covered her mouth with a gasp. Erza and Gray looked at each other and Lisanna blinked in bewilderment.

Their residential Celestial mage had… ears and a tail? Makarov was also shocked. He wasn't expecting that at all. He noticed that she had some highlights in her hair that he hadn't noticed before. Pink and silver strands decorated certain parts of her hair. Her hair also faded into a type of pastel shade of pink. The silver stands in her hair stood out more.

She also had tufts of light pink on the ends of her ears and tail. It almost reminded him of natsu's hair… upon further observation, it seemed like her eyes had changed colors as well. It was beyond him how he didn't notice. Her eyes were still a chocolate brown, but in the light, it looked amber, with specks of gold.

Lucy stood up and blankly looked at herself. Her hair was now past her waist, if not further down. She seemed to have gotten curvier than before, and grew in some places a little. She blushed and hugged herself. Her human ears were gone. Hair covering where they used to be. Her ears flattened on her head as she blushed at the stares everyone was giving her.

Natsu especially. His face was a bit red as he gaped at her. Happy was a bit frightened, "She somewhat reminds me of a dog Natsu…"

Lucy blushed in anger, "Shut up cat.."

"AYE!"

Makarov watched as she grabbed her tail, which almost reached the floor, and hugged it towards herself. She was embarrassed for sure. Lucy hiccupped by accident, and the next thing everyone knew, the ears and tail disappeared. Everything else remained the same.

"M-master? What just happened?" Wendy squeaked. Master cleared his throat, "Don't worry about it for now everyone. Lucy."

"H-Hai?"

"You will return home for today. We will discuss this incident tomorrow, understand?"

Everyone muttered okay. Natsu jumped at the opportunity to help Lucy home. After the incident today, He felt the need to stay close to Lucy from now on. Lucy felt really tired and accepted the help.

When they all came from the infirmary, Everyone questioned whether Lucy was alright. Erza simply said she was okay and that she needed to go home for the day to rest. They all wanted to ask more questions, but one stare from Erza made them forget.

Lucy was grateful and ended up shutting her eyes.

Lucy woke up to Natsu opening her front door. She ended up falling asleep before they even left the guild? She must have been really exhausted.

Natsu noticed and gave her a grin, "Looks like you're awake now." He placed her on her feet carefully.

Lucy yawned a little and stretched before walking into her apartment. Natsu locked the door while Happy went to the kitchen to see if there were any fish.

Lucy noticed it had gotten dark outside and sighed. A lot has happened today. She decided that now would be a good time to take a shower. She went to her room and grabbed a pair of underwear and pajamas before entering the bathroom. It was still strange how different she appeared when she glanced in the mirror. She kind of looked, a lot more sexy?

She shrugged before turning on the hot water. She stripped herself of the dirty clothes and jumped in. Sighing at the heat of the water rolling on her skin.

Natsu was sitting on her couch in thought. It really surprised him when he saw her with ears and a tail. Something within him was screaming at him to do… something. It was when he saw how shy she was and was trying to hide herself. He felt hot.

He sniffed the air and sighed when he spelt her scent drifting in the air. Strawberries and Honey… and maybe a bit of vanilla? It was that, and the scent of stardust and rain only got stronger. He felt like he was getting high off the scent. His body buzzed in delight and his inner dragon purred at the scent.

While he was hanging with Lisanna, he realized that some part of him was longing to be next to lucy. A voice in his head kept saying to spend some time with her, but he always ignored it because he wanted to hang out some more with Lisanna. Lately, he seemed to have developed feelings that were just more-than-friends, towards lucy.

Lucy was really pretty. Natsu himself knew that. Every Time he saw some guy stare at her, this really ugly feeling rises from deep within, and he would get the urge to punch them in the face.

His stomach rumbled in hunger, pulling him out of his thoughts. He held his stomach thoughtfully before getting up. He knew was in the kitchen, and went in. Happy was munching on a fish he found, "Hey Natsu! Her fridge is stocked to the brim!"

This made Natsu excited and he proceeded to raid the fridge. He managed to stuff a few chicken legs and pudding that he found into his mouth before his instincts sensed some sort of danger behind him. He heard happy squeak and muttered 'I'll be asleep' before flying off. A dark aura radiated behind him and he gulped the rest of the food in his mouth. He turned slowly and gave Lucy a nervous grin.

"H-hey Luce? You done showering?" Lucy was seething as she had her arms crossed. A short bath towel was the only thing covering her body. Her eyes glowed a dim amber color. She bared her fangs a little, showing how pissed she was.

She growled out, "And what do you possibly think you're doing Natsu?"

Natsu shivered. The growl that escaped her throat made him feel really hot. He stifled a cough and took a deep breath. He held his arms up while slowly walking around the table, trying to gain some distance. "I-I was just hungry Luce! I didn't eat it all!"

Lucy stalked over to Natsu, eyes narrowing, "So you thought it was a bright idea to go and eat most of my food huh?!" Natsu shook his head quickly.

They were at a stand-still. Natsu was sweating buckets and looked towards the door. He was trying to plan his escape when he was suddenly tackled to the ground by a very angry lucy.

He yelped when his head hit the ground. Lucy straddled him and sneered, "Do tell, What in your thick skull made you think this was alright?" Natsu flushed a deep red and gulped heavily.

His body felt like it was on fire when he saw the angry blonde straddle him. He had no idea what was going on. But in that moment, he felt like prey, and that the blonde above him looked like she was going to ravage him in an instant.

"L-luce, please…," He grit his teeth in an effort to control his emotions, "Please..g-get off of me! I-I won't do it again, I swear!" He cursed when he felt his member start to grow. He was trying to keep his breathing under control. His inner dragon purred in delight at the display of dominance. Her smell was starting to drive him crazy.

Lucy glared at him some more, not aware of what she was doing to the poor dragon slayer. She huffed, blowing her hair out of her face and sulked lightly. She slowly got up, being mindful that she wasn't wearing anything but the towel.

Natsu let out a harsh gasp as soon as she got up and jumped away. "I-I'll be in the room with happy!" He squeaked out with difficulty. He rushed towards the bathroom. He slammed it shut and made sure to lock it behind him.

Lucy wondered what his problem was. She didn't think she was that scary. Plus, she was still trying to figure out why she pounced on him. A pink hue dusted her cheeks before she went into her room to put on some clothes.

Natsu was distracted as he tried to calm down the raging fire he was experiencing inside of him. He was sweating and panting. The bathroom was full of her scent, making him dizzy. He shook his head. His pants were feeling really tight, so he decided to take a cold shower. He quickly stripped and swiftly turned on the freezing cold water.

He stood there for a certain amount of time before he cursed at himself. His hands hovered over his dick, debating on what he should do. Whether he should do what he's thinking of doing or not. This was Lucy's home!

He bit his lip, closing his eyes in frustration. "Dammit… Ah, Fuck it." He may as well try to fix the problem now. He stifled a groan as the scent of Lucy assaulted his senses. Rubbing at a steady, rough pace, he grunted to himself.

The thought of Lucy pouncing on him, Dominating him, invaded his mind. His inner dragon roared dangerously in approval. Natsu was doing his best to focus on getting this done as quickly as possible.

But it was getting harder for him to focus. All he felt was overwhelming pleasure as he pumped his shaft desperately. "Oh god…Lucy~." He increased the speed of his hand and moaned huskily. His member twitched a few times as he squirted his load into his hand. He panted as he leaned against the wall, trying to catch his breath. He knocked his head into the wall silently. His face was on fire.

"What did I just do?"

By the time natsu finished and came out, the smell of fried food filled his nose. Causing his stomach to rumble. He looked down at himself, only covered with a towel around his waist.

He had a tendency of leaving some clothing here so Lucy could use them when she got cold. He walked into the room and found a few articles of clothing. He put on a pair of underwear and sweatpants. He debated on putting on a shirt, but thought against it and tossed it aside. He put on his scarf, and proceeded to walk out.

Lucy was wearing a black tank top and grey and pink shorts. Her hair was up in a messy bun as she finished making some fire chicken, some Lime shrimp dragon noodles, and some honey garlic salmon.

She had forgotten that she ended up having enhanced senses and was blushing a deep red when she heard what he was doing in her bathroom. She heard him call her name. Lucy felt weak in the knees when she heard his husky moan. God, that was so sexy. Lucy bit her lip, trying to keep her emotions at bay.

Her mind was heading in a dirty direction when she promptly heard a stomach protest angrily. She giggled, doing her best to not think of what the person behind her had done. Or what she did. "Happy fell asleep. I made some food in the meantime as an apology…?"

Lucy was a bit nervous as she started to set the table. She was remorseful with her little outburst. She didn't really have much of a reason to be upset. But it just… happened.

Natsu gulped and buried his face under his scarf to hide the redness that was staining his cheeks. He stiffly sat down, waiting for Lucy to join him.

Lucy went ahead and poured them some soda before taking a seat. There was a bit of an awkward silence before Natsu started to scarf down his food.

Lucy barked at him when he made a mess, causing him to grin cheekily and fling some food at her. They both started a mini food fight, lifting the awkward atmosphere some. Once they finished playing around and eating, Lucy started to wash the dishes while Natsu went to the living room. He sat down and sighed. That was tough. But he was glad that it wasn't that awkward anymore.

Happy seemed to have woken up from his little nap. He joined natsu in the living room and yawned to himself.. Natsu and Happy started to talk to one another about the recent events that had taken place.

"It was surprising when Lucy had ears and a tail. She really did remind me of a dog Natsu!" Natsu laughed, "Lucy isn't a dog happy! Lucy is Lucy! You have no reason to be scared of her!"

Happy gave him an 'Aye' before switching topics to fish. They were really distracted in their conversation that they didn't notice the small groan Lucy muttered.

Lucy was currently rubbing her head. The headache had returned. It was really messing with her vision. She had to stop washing the dishes to see if she could massage the pain away. It was weird that the pain had come back. She kind of thought that Wendy had fixed that. But then she thought that maybe it was a temporary fix.

She sensed a presence outside of the kitchen window. She focused and felt like there were perhaps two people? She sensed that they had a similar magic to what she recently had gained.

She tried to walk over to the window. She really did. But something caused her to pause. She heard someone mutter under their breath. The next thing she knew, the dull pounding in her head had turned into a sharp, stinging migraine.

Compared to what she experienced the first time, this was even worse. It was like the pain from before had amplified 10 times over. Lucy couldn't scream as the wave of pain assaulted her. She tumbled to the floor, knocking down some glassware's. The pain was immense. It was so unbearable that Lucy began to sweat from the force. Lucy felt like she wanted to die. Just so that she could escape the intense pain she was under.

The crashing sound seemed to alert the dragon slayer because he rushed in the next second, a fist blazing with fire. Lucy felt like she couldn't breath, Like her body was starting to shut down altogether. She wanted to call him out, but one last wave of pain knocked her unconscious.

Natsu heard the crashing. That startled him, he rushed to the kitchen and lit his fist on fire just in case. He immediately went pale once he saw the state Lucy was in. Her skin was as white as paper. She was sprawled out on the floor. He almost couldn't hear her breathing. He knelt down hurriedly and tried to wake the Celestial mage up, "come on Lucy... come on come on… HAPPY!"

Happy flew in quickly, then gasped when he saw Lucy. She was sweating heavily, her face would twist in agony every few seconds. She looked dead. He was scared for the blonde. A soft whimper came from her throat and tears escaped from her eyes.

"Go And Get Wendy! NOW!" Happy gave a quick 'Aye' before he soared out of the window. He needed to hurry and get Wendy! "Max Speed!" Happy zoomed through the night sky towards Fairy Hills.

Natsu lifted the blonde carefully, rushing her to her bedroom and setting her down carefully. He didn't know what to do! What should he do in this situation?! Lucy was suffering! His Lucy was in pain!

He paused in his thoughts. His lucy? No wait, right now, I have to try and help her until Wendy gets here!

So he did the next best thing, he ran to the bathroom and grabbed a washrag. He then wet it with cold water and rushed back. He saw that Lucy's face had turned red. He hesitantly touched her face, then pulled back in shock because she was starting to burn up.

He was really scared. Scared that something bad was happening to her. He started to wipe the sweat up, getting up to rise and re-wet it once more. He thought of changing her clothes, but he thought better against it.

It didn't take long until Wendy came banging on the door. Natsu ran over, opening it. Wendy was worried sick. She was just about to sleep when she heard rapid knocking on her window. She thought it was an intruder, but saw a frantic Happy nearly in tears. When she had let him in, he started crying saying that Lucy was in danger.

That was enough to get Wendy running as fast as she could to Lucy's apartment. She didn't hesitate entering the room and covered her mouth in shock at the state Lucy was in. She immediately ran over and started to use her magic to identify the problem.

"She's burning up really bad. Good Job with trying to bring the fever down Natsu! We have to try and bring this down.. But it seems like something is happening inside of Lucy." Natsu and Happy were confused. What did she mean?

Wendy noticed their confusion, "It seems like someone had casted some sort of forbidden magic on Lucy. I don't know why I haven't noticed before… but it's not good either. Lucy is trying to fight it."

Natsu was flustered. He's never seen the Celestial Mage like this before. His inner dragon whimpered and whined. What could they do in this situation? Wendy did her best to help with the fever. Using different spells in an attempt to regulate her body temperature.

After about two hours, Charla had to convince Wendy that Lucy was alright now. She needed to save her magic just in case. Wendy wanted to do more, but she found out that she had used too much magic.

Lucy's condition seemed to have improved though. The fever had disappeared. Wendy wanted to do a bit extra and casted something on Lucy's head. A precautionary measure In order to help with her headaches. "She should be fine now. I made sure I gave Lucy something for the headaches. It can only do so much. About this forbidden Magic inside of Lucy, I'll bring it up to Master in the morning. She'll be fine Natsu." She noticed the distraught look in his eyes as he stared at Lucy.

Wendy and Charla glanced at each other quietly. Poor Natsu…

Happy led Wendy and Charla to the door and thanked them. Wendy nodded at Happy and called out to Natsu to say goodbye. Natsu gave her a soft nod before going back to the room.

Natsu glanced out the window, watching Charla carry Wendy back home. Why was Lucy going through this? And what's up with this forbidden spell that Wendy was talking about?

'I'm just glad her fever is finally gone…'

He was worn out. All of the worrying exhausted him. Happy fluttered over to Lucy's bed and fell asleep on the pillow above her head. Natsu decided to climb in to go to sleep. He gently pulled Lucy towards him, which caused her to roll enough so that her back was against his stomach. Natsu curled up, burying his face into Lucy's hair. He sighed, taking in a lungful of her scent before drifting into a restless sleep.

After he fell asleep, Lucy woke up a little. She was dazed. She remembered passing out from the pain. She blinked sleepily, glancing around her bedroom. She felt the heat behind her and curled up closer to Natsu.

She suddenly noticed someone was standing in her room. She trained her eyes, not realizing her eyes started to glow Amber. She focused on a corner of her room and muttered softly.

"... Who's there?"

Silence.

"... Who are you? …Why are you here?"

Nothing.

Lucy stayed quiet. She wanted to listen for any signs of movement. But her exhaustion was catching up to her. She cursed in her mind. "H-hey… Tell me… Who you.. Are…"

Lucy succumbed to sleep. A small sigh escaped her.

Once the figures in the room were certain that the blonde had fallen asleep, they let out a sigh of relief.

A young, boyish voice whispered carefully, "Oh boy.. I thought we were going to get caught there! I was so nervous. I thought she saw us for a second!" The boy wiped away the sweat on his eyebrow. He patted his chest lightly, glad that they hadn't been discovered. A girl, who was a little bit younger than the boy, started to pout.

"W-why didn't we show owrselves to Lulu?" The girl whined softly. She hugged a stuffed rabbit, almost as big as her little body, tightly as she looked at her older brother. Ears flat against her head in dejection.

The boy patted her head, "It's okay. Lucy-Nee-Chan would find out about us soon. We have to go to the guild tomorrow anyways to interrogate that old man! We have to protect Lucy-Nee! Mom said so." Or try to at least…

The little girl nodded. Eyes glowing a soft green color. She stared at Lucy and sniffed. "I want LuLu, Nii-chan.. She's Wight Thewe…" The boy sighed softly. "I want Lucy- Nee- Chan Too…"

His ears flattened down, a small whimper escaped him. He shook his head. They'll be able to stay with Lucy-Nee-Chan soon.

"Let's hurry back and let the others know that Lucy-Nee is alive and well. We have to get up early anyways." The girl nodded and grabbed her brother's hand. She made one last glance at the sleeping female, "Bye Bye LuLu-Nee-Chan. I'll see you soon!"

The boy did the same, his eyes glowing gold, "... Sleep well Lucy-Nee." The boy picked the young girl up, then activated his magic and they both slipped into the shadows.
