(Author note: This a new story I come up with I want to try it out and I hope you guys like this story)
You know, I thought my day was going to be great. I had my morning coffee, the Phoenix Suns beat the L.A. Clippers last night, and I was going to hang out with my friends for a barbecue for the afternoon. Unfortunately, I'm dying in my car with the blood coming out of my throat and losing all the feeling in my body. How did this happen, you might ask? Well, some idiot was on her phone and didn't look at the oncoming Semi-truck merging into her lane that caused a massive pile-up. I got the short end of the stick where my car got flipped over, and I landed in a ditch.
As I'm dying in my car, I think about things I haven't done in my life. I never went to Paris, I didn't get the chance to marry the love of my life, I never got to watch The Silence of the Lambs, and I never went to a rap concert. I see the ambulance light and hear a fire truck siren in the distance, and a few minutes later, a few paramedics come to the car and try to save me. But it was too late as I took my last breath and started to see the bright light next. All I see now is darkness.
For a moment, I thought about if this was the afterlife, just darkness, and emptiness. There is no heaven or hell which I never do anything that bad to send to hell. Then I see the bright light again. I was hoping this meant I was going to heaven; however, the light gets brighter and brighter until it blinds me. After that, I regained my sight. I see that I was in a hospital room with an IV in the back of my left arm, and I'm in some hospital clothes. I look to my left to see a middle-aged man with light brown hair, green eyes, and he's wearing a red and white button-up shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes. The men were sitting next to me, looking asleep.
"I guess I did survive the car accident," I thought.
The men wake up, and he sees me wake. He starts to cry tears of joy and comes up to my bedsides.
"Thank god you alright," said the men who then kiss me on top of the head
I was shocked to say anything. "What the hell is going on," I thought.
"Everything is going to be okay, sweetie,"
Sweetie? I need answers, so I finally find my words and ask, "what's going on? Who are you?"
"Hope it's me, your father?"
Hope? That isn't my name. Then a blonde woman doctor comes to the room and looks at me.
"Aw, she's awake. How long has Hope been awake, Mr. Carter?" said the doctor
She? I'm a guy
"For about a minute, but she doesn't remember me?" said the men
"I'm not surprised by the head injury she received. She may have amnesia,"
"For how long!?"
"It may take some time for Hope to regain her memory fully,"
"I'm going to call my wife; I'll be right back, Hope," the men walk out of the hospital room.
Okay, this is getting crazy. I need some answers before something else happens.
I asked the doctor, "Could I see a mirror?"
"Um, sure," the doctor reaches down to her coat and pulls out a hand mirror, and hands it to me.
When I looked in the mirror, I was speechless again. I see a seven-year-old Korean girl with short black hair and green eyes with a band-aid on the left of her upper forehead in the mirror reflection.
"Are you done with the mirror, dear?" said the doctor
"Y-yes ma'am," I said
I thought this was a weird dream, and I'll wake up from this, but it was not, I'm sure of it. Then I realized what had happened to me and why I look like a Korean girl. I've been reincarnated into another world with a whole new chance at life. The question is now what type of world I got reincarnated into in my new life.
