Ragged breaths, sweat dripping down my face from anxiety, my body shaking and burning with rage. I spent the last few minutes being confronted by three figures at once; one was a man with a dark robe that had gold accents all around it to serve as a contrast to the otherwise black clothes he wore. One was a man with blue hair, blue clothes with silver straps, and wielded a sword. One was a woman with blue hair, wearing armor with similar colors to the man before, and even wielded a similar looking sword.

There was one other person, but they were staying out of the fight, opting to stand on the sidelines. Their body trembling and shaking with conflicting emotions, watching their father fend off three of the most important people around. Good, I'd rather not fight them either. But the others? I couldn't care less if they were my former friends.

I was furious. They chose to stand against me, me! They will pay! How dare they! Don't they understand where I'm coming from?!

"That's enough! Stoney, you need to calm down!" The blue haired man shouted at me. "What happened wasn't anyone's fault, you have to understand that-"

"Understand this!" I cut him off "If the previous Exalt did his fucking job and slaughtered them all, Emmeryn would be alive, there would be no Mad King, there would be no bad future, there would be no war!" Clenching my chest, tears welling up underneath my scowling eyes "And she wouldn't be... be..." I couldn't finish my sentence, feeling the woman I loved's cold body as she died in my arms still fresh in my mind. Even my child was still feeling the pain of the loss. None of them could understand. No one will understand! I'm doing this for the greater good can't they see?!

Off in the distance behind me was a meteor, a meteor I summoned. It casted a shadow over the entire Kingdom of Plegia. In just a couple of minutes it would collide with the ground, permanently destroying the source of all the bad shit that happened in this world.

Then the woman stepped up "Sir Stoney, please!" She held a brave face, but I could tell she was holding back tears. "I've lived this exact scenario many times, as did the rest of us from the future. It hurts I understand, but mass slaughter will not solve anything!"

"Bullshit!" I retorted with venom spewing from my word. "You don't know the things I do, what the hell could you know about anything!"

But from the distance, the shaky voice of my child chimes in. "F-father! M-mother wouldn't have wanted this! You know this!" I sent them a death glare, immediately shutting them up.

The robed man clicked his tongue, he knows better than anyone I'm not gonna listen to their crap. "It's no use you two, he's in anguish. The only way to stop him is if we neutralize him quickly." He says to the two, loud enough for me to hear. From that I took my stance, my tomes firmly strapped to the pockets in my belt. I may be outmatched in numbers, but I haven't trained this long for nothing. "Just try me." I put on a stone cold expression and prepared myself for anything.

[Cue: Vengeful Berserkers - Brandon Yates]

All three of them rushed at me, I'm guessing they were trying to subdue me by overpowering me.

Big mistake.

I took a deep breath and stood there. Soon they were up in my face. The swordsman, swordswoman, and tactician swinging at me with their weapons. I merely smirked.

Putting my hands to the ground, I shouted "Arcwind!" Sending me propelling into the sky my adversaries looked to the shadowed sky with a snarl.

While suspended a good several feet into the sky, I charged fire magic in one hand, then with the other I point it above me with wind magic charged in it. Once sufficiently charged, using Arcwind again I propelled myself to the ground at incredible speeds. With my flaming fist I cocked it back with a fierce look in my eyes as the three prepared to jump out of the way.

"Meteor Smash!!" I bellowed, throwing my fist into the ground as I landed, which sent shockwaves of fire and gravel everywhere. My enemies were too slow to dodge the shockwave and all three of them were send flying in different directions. Of the three of them, only the tactician and the current Exalt were able to stand, with the princess knocked away even further, skittering across the ground before she slid to a stop with her weapon sliding harmlessly to her side. She let out a groan of pain but still seemed to be concious. That's one down at least.

With deep and heavy gulps of oxygen, I rise up from the crater I made, watching my opponents carefully as they planned their next move. I know our- their tactician would change his strategy up. I know this because only the Exalt charged forward, running in an arc right at me as the mage stood afar, charging an attack of his own. The swordsman got up close and took a swing with one hand, I caught his wrist with my left hand. It became a struggle, him wanting to bring his weapon down at me and me struggling against his strength. He was much much stronger than me and it was clear I was losing the struggle.

It's a good thing I'm good at improvising. My free hand charged with lightning and while he wasn't paying attention to my lowered hand, I struck him in the chest plate with my electrified hand, then released an Elthunder that sent him flying away from me.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed the white haired man with a Thoron tome out. His attack fully charged and dead set on using it on me. He then fired it, believing I was distracted. How wrong he was.

Reacting quickly, I fired a Wind spell in his direction, which the Thoron absorbed, albeit it wasn't without it slowing down; just enough for me to dodge. I leaped out the way into the ground, using my momentum to roll and get back on my feet. I turned my head with a stern expression. "Nice try, you'll have to play smarter than that." Taunting your enemy was a surefire way to get them to make more mistakes, whether out of fury or a sense of doubting their abilities.

His face remained the same so I couldn't tell if it worked or not, but knowing him he probably knows what I'm trying to accomplish. It's worth a shot.

"This isn't play time, Stoney." He merely said in response "This is war." The man lowers his head. "I'm sorry, old friend, but I can't afford to hold back against you." Was all he said to me as he tried another move. This time he pulled out a Levin Sword, pointing it upwards as lightning shot out of it. Lightning that was heading my direction.

Thinking fast, I waved my hands in a trigram motion, covering myself in a makeshift force field as the bolts of lightning struck me. Most of the attacks were absorbed by the wind field, though most did slip through, sending small painful electric currents through my body. It's a damn good thing my resistance to magic is strong otherwise the first bolt alone would've left me a burnt corpse.

Ignoring the pain, I stood up just in time to see that swordsman leaping in for a back slash. I cart wheeled out of the way and kicked him in the chest to keep him away a good distance. As he distracted me, the white haired Plegian-- bleh!-- dashed in for a sword swipe himself. Striking me with the blunt of his sword in my chest then immediately as the wind was knocked out of me, had me in an arm lock. "Yield!" He demanded.

You?! Demand me to yield?! How dare... how dare you! "How dare you!!!" Screaming in pure rage, I threw my head back, headbutting him in the nose. I felt wetness in the back of my head, I must've broke his nose. As he clutched his bloodied nose, I leaped back and loaded my hands with all three elemental magics. This one's for you, Shuma Gorath.

Throwing my hands up, a vortex of fire, lightning, and wind surrounded the robed man, sending him swirling into the air, resulting in him getting burnt, cut and electrocuted all at once.

"The Chaos Dimension!" I shout as my victim swirled higher and higher until it reached the apex of the move's height, from there a battered Plegian fell like a rock to the ground. I huff and puffed as I turned just in time, yet again the same boring trick of trying to slash me from behind. With the little energy I had, I flipped my body to face him, swiftly pulling out my own sword. Man pushing against man, our blades sparked as they collided, the sounds of silver scraping against eachother as we both began yet another struggle against one another.

Being low on energy, plus being physically weaker meant I was losing much quicker than before. This isn't a spar, it was a fight! So I kneed Chrom in the jewels which caused him to gasp in shock, before he could fall on his knees, I uppercut him to send him upwards and then use Elwind to send him flying away, leaving him landing on his side while clutching where the sun wasn't shining. A dirty trick but who cares!

With my hand stuck out, I pant heavily. He'll he back momentarily I feel like, but this isn't time for rest. Out of my peripheral vision, long blue locks of hair darted this way. Tch, figures that wouldn't have put her down for good. With the same sword I turned around just in time to parry an overhead swing. "Give up!"

The Ylissian Princess gritted her teeth against my force, my weakened force, "For the sake of the future, I will not lose! Not even to you, sir Stoney!" We backed away to force some distance before slicing and dicing eachother, our weapons sparking and screeching as we swung at brisk speeds. I took several steps back in attempt to avoid being nicked. "You people don't get it, your future could've been saved if you just nipped the source in the bud, but you didn't and look at the consequences!" Propelling myself away with Elwind, the two of us stare eachother down, like apex predators fighting for dominance.

The woman, heavily breathing and somewhat shaky didn't seem fazed by my words, figures she wouldn't get it.

"Let me get one thing straight with you, I don't wanna fight you. I can also assure you you aren't alone. My parents were killed, Tiki was killed, many I loved perished. It was the absolute worst feeling in the word. But I had hope, hope that I could somehow save everyone, stop Grima, and we all live happy lives. Not once did I ever resort to such drastic measures like yours. From one who's experienced loss to another, please call off your spell, there has to be another way. One that woul-"

"Shut up!" I cut her off, this chick think she knows me?! Such insolence! "Don't think you're so innocent either!" Pointing a finger accusingly at her I continued, "Somewhere along the line, you did something. If my daughter came to the past" I then turn to look at my now identified silently sobbing little girl, watching onward with tears streaming down her face "That means her mother-- my lover, survived in the future long enough." The anger coursing through my blood, I can feel the cold dark magic engulfing my hand, forming a purple blade like shape around it "And you... you're just as guilty as a result!" With that I prepared my next move.

"Taste my blade!" Swinging my engulfed hand at her sent purple spikes in her direction. The woman's eyes widened as they blitzed at her, impaling the blue haired lady and causing blood curling screams eliciting off her. After striking a pose, the spikes attached to her blew up, sending her tumbling away with blood strings being left behind in her wake.

A massive headache overcame me afterwards... that'll be the last time I try that move.

Anyways, I stagger in her direction, fierce eyes directed at this woman-- this killer's barely holding on corpse. She's not dead yet, but that'll be fixed soon enough. Raising my sword and pointing down at the lady, I bring it upward...

"Stop!!"

And then... fire? Did someone strike me with fire?!

My feral eyes turned...

My daughter stood there, hands sticking forward and lightly panting with still wet tear stains on her cheeks.

...How dare you...! How dare you!!

"You damn brat!!" Bellowing off the top of my lungs I lunge my arm back and threw it forward, returning a ball of fire of my own, fear stricken in her eyes as it edged closer and closer.

...Of my own...

At my own... daughter?

What am I doing?! What have I done!

"NAAAAH!" Dread washed over me as the fireball I couldn't stop inevitably struck Nah and sent her flying back, it burnt right through her dress, and left a nasty mark in her midsection.

Robin

After that last move, I thought I was gonna die. This 'Chaos Dimension' Stoney threw at me was something I've never seen before. I know he is a protege at magic but that was insane! The feeling of being burnt, electrocuted and cut by strong winds is indescribable.

Still, I managed to survive, barely standing up as Lucina was clashing with our former ally. How I wished things didn't have to be this way. Chrom too off in the distance was standing up, not without some lingering pain of his own I'd imagine.

If such an enemy cannot be overpowered with force and numbers, we just need an opportune moment to strike, and it better be soon. Downing a Vulnerary, I felt some strength return to me, we just need to wait to strike.

I dashed over to Chrom, giving him some of my Vulnerary which he wordlessly drank from too. "Chrom" I address the man now known as Chrom, "On my signal, we both go in for an attack, just follow my lead okay?" He nods, understanding failure just isn't an option here.

As our old friend made his way over to the less than savory body of Chrom's daughter, it took a glare and everything he's got not to charge in, but I reminded him to wait.

...After all, I had this planned from the beginning. Hearing the scream of a desperate daughter and noticing a fire spell heading his way, Chrom and I nodded to one another. The enraged and grieving man before us isn't a monster, he'll realize his mistake.

The messed up implications aside, I was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I took one look at the expression of our Mage to realize. This is it! "CHROM!" I shouted as I rushed in. "On my mark!" He replies.

Stoney

Pain!

I hadn't even realized it, but before I knew it, not only was my baby girl injured, but I was sent hurling into the air, courtesy of Robin's wind spell swirling me up. Falling upside down was disorienting, but I saw Chrom and Robin preparing something. Robin charging up another Thoron, and Chrom running in for a strong blow. Almost as quickly as it began, it ended with Chrom clashing his sword with me at the same moment Thoron was sent in my direction. I was trapped between the two attacks.

And just like that, everything went blank. My final thoughts being something along the lines of "I hope my daughter is alright..."

Now you're probably having many questions right? What just happened? How did it come to this? To answer that, I'll have to start over...

Hello and welcome to the first chapter of my Synopsis Self Insert fanfic. I've been an avid reader of FE self inserts and always wanted to write one of my own, however I have... a few reasons why I didn't do it for the longest time.

1: I don't really consider myself a good writer, hell I felt like I was missing details writing the above stuff, as well as not being that good at balancing screentime and writing convincing dialogue.

2: I don't have much time irl. So I gave myself two options. One being that I do write a full story but it's updated superb slowly. Or two, I just do what the title says and make it a synopsis, writing only highlights and moments I thought up of to speed things along.

Also a side note, I've noticed a severe lack of Nah and Nowi centric self inserts so I'm hoping to change that here.

Constructive criticism is welcomed but don't be a dick is all I ask.
