Supergirl and Amos began to exchange glances as soon as they viewed Volcana running from a Metropolis jewelry store. Their eyes were on the valuables around her neck and arms. They frowned at the same time. Their shoulders went up.
''It looks like we'll eat lunch later,'' Supergirl muttered.
Amos nodded before he and Supergirl approached Volcana. He watched while the crook paused and scowled.
Fire appeared around Volcana's fists as she released the attack. After she viewed Supergirl and Amos dodging everything, she fled.
Volcana stopped running when Supergirl appeared in front of her and floated. She still scowled and attempted to flee in the other direction. Volcana tensed the minute Amos blocked her. She looked from him to Supergirl.
Volcana's eyes were wide when a tentacle from Amos wrapped around her wrists and held them together. She struggled and glowered.
Volcana winced after Supergirl flew into her back. She fell on her side and then closed her eyes.
Amos released Volcana and smiled with Supergirl.
''We're a good team,'' Supergirl said.
Amos nodded.
Minutes later, Supergirl and Amos ate lunch together after they remembered working to defeat Volcana.
