October of 1988. (Note: the Duke boys now own most of Boss Hogg's former properties, that they rent out.) This story follows the story idea of one of my earlier story entitled Vampires of Hazzard. It does not follow the story line. For this story I changed things up a bit. Sam and Dean helped Bo and Luke earlier in the year with a ghost problem. Unknown to the brothers, a vampire that wanted to kill them, found out that they were in Hazzard. Before he caught up to them, the brothers left town. The following day when the vampire could not find them, he went after Cooter, Bo and Luke and changed all three. Bo killed the vampire and all three tried to resume their lives. This takes place three months after they were changed. This follows the story The Truth about Vampires. It takes place 1 month after that story.

Sam and Dean killed Chuck but before he died, he cursed Dean and Sam with being immortal. He also destroyed The Book Of The Damned, so no one could reverse the spell. The gates of Heaven and Hell were closed, so no angel or demon could leave either place. Souls can enter both places but not leave. There was nothing on earth that could now kill the Winchester brothers. They decided to retire from hunting, so they sold the bunker and all the supernatural items to the British Men of Letters. Plus, they also sold all of Rowena's items she had in her old apartment. They had enough money to last them several life-times. The Winchester brothers left Kansas and headed for Hazzard.

The next day as Luke and Bo were driving back from the seed depot, the brothers were near the county line. As the cousins were driving around a sharp corner, Luke saw a fallen tree in the road.

"Luke, look out!"

"Hold on, Bo!" There was no way he could stop in time before he hit into the tree. He tried to swerve to avoid the tree but he had no where to go. The truck hit on the passenger's side hard and Bo was thrown into the windshield. Stacy smiled as she came out of her hiding spot; behind a tree across the road. She approached the truck and saw both Luke and Bo unconscious. She quickly ran over to her truck and removed the tree from the road; that she had chained to her truck. Stacy pushed Luke over and moved Luke's truck out of the road. As Stacy was about to remove Bo from the truck, Darrel showed up.

"Stacy, what happened? Are they alright?" She smiled as Darrel got out of his truck and looked inside of Luke's truck.

"I got to call the paramedics." When he turned around, he came face to face with a gun pointed at him.

"Get Bo out of the truck, Darrel. Now!" She held the gun to his head. "If you don't help me, I will kill you!" Luke woke up and heard what Stacy told Darrel, so he closed his eyes and didn't make a sound.

"What about Luke?"

"Leave him! Put Bo in the truck!" With the gun still on him, Darrel put Bo into the back of his truck.

"Drive!" They drove for a couple of minutes before Darrel spoke.

"Where are we going?"

"Turn here." She pointed to an over grown horse path. Darrel thought that it was strange that she wanted him to drive down that particular path.

"Drive into the barn." Darrel did what he was told and drove into the barn. He put the truck into park.

"Turn it off." She took his keys and threw them out the side window and told him to get out.

"Put him on the ground." Stacy pointed to where she wanted Darrel to put Bo. Darrel got Bo out of the back of the truck and laid him onto the ground.

"Stacy, this is wrong. He needs a doctor."

"No he don't! You'll see, he can heal himself."

"You're crazy! He'll die!" She pointed the gun at him.

"I saw him last week. He fell off the roof of Cooter's garage, walked away unhurt." She turned her attention back to Bo. Darrel backed away from her as she started to tie Bo's legs together. When she was busy tying his legs, Darrel ran off but she never noticed that he left. He made his way down the road to the Duke farm.

^^^Meanwhile in the Impala^^^

"So, where are we going?"

"Hazzard County."

"Why?"

"Bo said we were welcome anytime."

"To visit, not stay."

"They own a lot of farm land now, I figure we could buy some land and..."

"And what Dean? Be a share-cropper?"

"Why not?"

"Because we know nothing about farming."

"It's not like we don't have the time to learn, Sammy."

As Sam and Dean made their way to the Duke farm, they came upon a truck on the side of the road.

"Pull over." Sam ordered Dean. They walked towards the truck and noticed that it was empty.

"May have gotten help already." Sam said as he looked inside and saw blood on the steering wheel and windshield. He looked in the glove box and found the registration.

"Lukas K. Duke." Sam and Dean looked at each other.

"This is not good, Dean."

"Yeah." They got back into the Impala and drove towards the farm. They got around a curve in the road and saw someone walking unsteadily down the road.

"I think that's Luke." When Luke saw headlights he turned around and noticed a familiar car.

"Dean?" Luke asked, as Dean stepped out of the car.

"Luke, you okay?...Luke, what the hell happened?" Sam and Dean said at the same time.

"There was a tree blocking the road, I couldn't stop in time. They took Bo and left me. I don't know why." Luke told Sam.

"It wasn't the paramedics?"

"No."

"We got to find him, Dean. I got a bad feeling about this."

"Come on, Luke. We'll get you to your farm and get some help to find Bo." Sam helped Luke into the Impala and they drove to the farm. They got into the house and Luke sat at the kitchen table. Sam got a wash cloth and started to clean the cut that was above Luke's eye.

As Sam was putting a band-aid on his cut, they heard a knock on the door. Dean opened the door and saw a man that stood no taller than five feet tall. Not recognizing Dean, Darrel looked around and saw Luke sitting at the table.

"Luke, she took him. Bo's down the road in your old sheep barn."

"Who took him?"

"Stacy. She held a gun to my head when I tried to help you two. Told me if I didn't help her, she would kill me. He was still alive when I left. I tried to stop her, I really did."

"I know, it's not your fault. She isn't very stable when she's off her meds." Luke looked at Sam. "Let's go." Luke looked at Darrel and told him. "Can you wait here?"

"Yeah, Luke." Dean had already left in the Impala, when Darrel walked in and told them where Bo was.

"Take my Trans Am." Luke told Sam. He got into the passenger's side and Sam drove.
