The long Seven Million Years of Humanity that existed across all known forms of reality, has finally come to an end. What was the Cause? Ancient Weapons? Asteroids? Or perhaps even an Alien Invasion? WRONG! Mankind across the Multiverse are being threatened by one existence, it was perhaps none other than their own Creators, the Gods!
The Gods were deciding the fate of Mankind across the Dimensions with judgement in The Council of Valhalla: Parliament Building. Outside of the entrance of the trial, stood a girl and woman, watching the Gods decide.
"It's about to start Big Sis Hild." A young teenage girl said nervously, as she had shoulder length lilac hair, wearing a green jacket over a white shirt with black shorts. On her left leg is a black legging with a garter belt, with sneakers and a hairclip in the form of a wing on her head.
(Geir; Youngest of the Thirteen Valkyrie Sisters)
"…" A beautiful woman with midnight blue hair that reached her waist, wearing a formal dress with a hairpin in the shape of a wing was simply silent as she observed the Council of the Gods.
In the huge room were all the gods, in a fine throne was an elderly man dressed in a toga and next to him was a large reptile that hasn't been seen since the extinction of the dinosaurs.
"Well, then. Everyone. It's been a thousand years since the last time we gathered here. Let us start the conference, shall we?" Said Zeus, King of the Greek Gods.
(The Chairman of Council of Valhalla)
Once every One Thousand Years, Gods across the realms gather to hold a conference, to decide Mankind's survival.
"Wow! The Gods are all here!" Geir said in awe. "What an amazing spectacle! Right, Big Sis Hild?" She asked Brunhild, who still remained silent.
"Now, let me ask. Regarding the survival of Mankind for the next thousand years. Should we forgive them? Or… should we just put an end to them?" Zeus asked them. "Show me the Will of Gods."
"Let's just give them the doomsday already, alright? Shiva, The India God of Creation and Destruction, A God with four arms and purple skin voted. "From what I've seen for the past one thousand years, Mankind doesn't seem to have any intention of repent at all. Trying to guide them is such a pain in the ass. Once we've erased them all, let's try evolving some other animals this time!" He said with little care for humanity.
"N-No way...how could he…" Geir said in slight horror.
"True. it's just as Shiva says…in the last one thousand years, the earth has become too ugly." Aphrodite agreed, The Greek Goddess of Beauty. "Seas are filled with waste and oil. Forests are gone and living beings have become extinct one after another. So, to speak…Mankind is the most dangerous living cancer on earth, a disaster that will bring Earth to its destruction. Isn't that true?" She asked, soon more and more Gods agree to end the lives of Mankind.
'This is just as Big Sis Hild said before…the Will of the Gods is to end. Then Mankind is going to…' Geir thought with dread.
There is no way to object the Will of Gods. If the voting of this conference of Mankind's Survival concludes with unanimous vote for end, then Mankind will inevitably be destroyed to complete destruction. If the Gods, will it…there is no possible way for anyone to stop it!
"I guess, we have come to an agreement. Then, the end of Mankind is decid-" Zeus began to say.
"Please wait a second!" Brunhild shouted. Every God in the room looks at her in slight surprise and mutters to themselves. "Pardon my intrusion, furious Gods. There is one thing that I have to say." She announced.
"Mind your manners, Brunhild!" Shouted the Ravens of Odin, Supreme God of Nordic. "You imbecilic Half-God!" A white Raven shouted. "How dare you open your filthy mouth in this Conference of Gods!" A black Raven shouted.
"It is true that Mankind is unbearably vulgar and violent. But, to destroy them like that…isn't that a bit…boring?" Brunhild stated, getting all the Gods' attention. "Whether the survival of Mankind has any value or not…with the might and mercy of the Gods, why don't we test them?" Brunhild told them.
"Test them? How? Do you wish to flood the Earth?" The Black Raven asked. "Or perhaps, sending them an Ice Age prematurely?"
"No. But I have a more effective way to test them." Brunhild answer. " Gods vs. Mankind in an all-out struggle, better known as RAGNAROK." She announced.
"Ra-Ragnarök?" Geir asked, confused.
"A one-on-one showdown. Between Gods and Mankind." Brunhild explained. "Thirteen combatants from each side, the first to side to achieve seven victories wins. Of course, the moment Mankind loses seven times their fate is decided. In an unlikely event that Mankind wins they are allowed to survive for another thousand more years."
Such a law was never used before since the creation of Mankind, the reason for that is because there is no way for Mankind to possibly win against the Gods.
"Ha! I don't know what you're thinking…but it seems that you Valkyrie really don't understand a thing." The White Raven stated.
"Mankind is no good match against the Gods." The Black Raven added.
"Your proposal is pointless!" Both Ravens shouted
"So, the Will of the Gods is to destroy Mankind and also…to avoid direct confrontation with mortals. Am I right?" Brunhild stated. "We want to destroy Mankind without fighting them. We don't want to be put in the same ring as them. Hmm… don't tell me… are you scared?" She asked with a bit of an audacious grin.
"Huh? S-Sister…?" Geir said in shock.
"If so, then I say unnecessary things, sorry. My bad." Brunhild said, in a fake apologetic way. "Go ahead then. Don't listen to me. Let's just forget about the whole thing…"
"P-Please stop! "What are you saying!? Forget about Mankind you will be executed for saying that! Let's apologize! Big Sis! Big Sis!" Geir begged.
But the Gods let out a wave of faint chuckles, like an irritated father who's just playing along with his kid's boring prank. But still, Brunhild was still confident because making light of the pride and dignity of the Gods, as the remark did enraged them. The Gods then started to shout curses at Brunhild for the fact that if anyone suspects the Gods of being afraid of Mankind, it would be the greatest humiliation for them!
"Ahhhhhh! Of course, the Gods would be angry! Big Sis… what in the world are you thinking!?" Geir said in fear. But Brunhild still remains confident.
'I knew it! Compared to humans, Gods are far easier to taunt!' Brunhild thought with a smirk.
"Hohoho…I see Ragnarök, huh… quite an interesting proposal." Zeus said calmly, petting the large Lizard. "Well said. Your proposal was an absolute fucking...GOOD IDEA!" He shouted, his arm growing in massive size and killed the Reptile in his hold. "Besides, don't you think it's been a long time since we have seen THE MIGHT OF THE GODS!" He shouted with a look of pure insanity on his face with blood covering it, unnerving Brunhild. "Everybody, what do you think? Shall we hold a showdown between the Gods and Mankind!?" He shouted, slamming his gavel.
Here, the showdown between the Gods and Mankind, (RAGNAROK) was decided.

Currently, Geir and Brunhild were thinking over what just happened. Brunhild had a calm look on her face while Geir looked almost dead inside, she then fell to her knees.
"What's wrong Geir?" Brunhild asked.
"I can't stand it anymore. Big Sis…" Geir whined. "Why did you do that!? Why did you object against the Will of the Gods and made them angry! You're just asking to be killed!" She shouted at Brunhild.
"Geir…you're an apprentice Valkyrie, so you might not understand this yet…but the bond between Mankind and us Valkyries…are deeper than those of the Gods." Brunhild said softly to Geir. "There is no way I can…just abandon them."
"Big Sis…" Geir said in awe of her sister putting her life on the line for Mankind's survival. "B-But, can Mankind really win? Do you think Mankind has a choice against the Gods?" She asked.
"No…" Brunhild answered bluntly. "At least not on their own."
"Th-Then how are you going to win!?" Geir asked in a panic.
"There is a way to help them, I just need to gather the best that Mankind has to offer." Brunhild said with determination.
"If that is the case, then do you mind if I help out?" An elderly male voice spoke out as both Valkyries turned around in surprise to see an elderly man in his fifties with gray hair and beard and red eyes clad in all black carrying a cane in his hand.
(Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg: Wielder of the Second True Magic.)
"And who are you supposed to be?" Brunhild demanded as Geir looked at the old man in shock.
"Now, now, there is no need for you to get angry." Zelretch said as he walked forward to the Valkyries. "All I want to do is to help you beat back the Gods to prevent the extinction of humanity." Zelretch said calmly as his cane clacked every time it hit the ground.
"And why would you want to do that?" Geir asked nervously.
Zelretch simply looked at Geir as she hid behind Brunhild as the eldest Valkyrie examined Zelretch and noticed his serious and determined look in his eyes. "It's rather simple, as much as I may be disconnected from Humanity due to the nature of my powers, I still very much care for them, and thus I too wish to prevent their Extinction, hence why I am here lending my powers of my own volition to help you gather the Thirteen strongest and most capable Champions for Mankind." Zelretch explained.
"Oh? And how do you intend to do that?" Brunhild asked as she raised an eyebrow at the Wizard Marshall before her.
Zelretch smirked at that. "It's rather simple, what my power is known as, is called Kaleidoscope, or Operation of Parallel Worlds. With it I can travel and move across the vast Multiverse and gather the strongest and most capable warriors of Mankind, even those that had previously slain Gods in their mortal lives." Zelretch revealed shocking Geir and gaining the interest of Brunhild.
"I see, such a power would prove to be incredibly useful." Brunhild mused as Geir looked at her in shock.
"Sister, please don't accept his offer, this guy's giving me a bad feeling! He's absolutely dangerous!" Geir pleaded with Brunhild.
"Be quiet Geir." Brunhild said sternly as Geir went silent as she turned her attention to Zelretch. "So can you truly grant me access to the best and brightest that Humanity has to offer?" She questioned the Wizard Marshall.
"I assure you, that each and every possible Champion will be at your disposal." Zelretch assured.
Brunhild smirked. "Excellent, then let us begin." She ordered as Zelretch nodded and made a portal appear as Brunhild and Zelretch entered it, followed by Geir, who could only look nervously at the old man.
'I got a bad feeling about this.' She thought to herself before she became exposed to the insanity that was the Multiverse in all of its horror and all of its glory.
At the same time a red headed God wielding a Giant Hammer simply observed the meeting from afar and walked away to prepare for the fight. 'Brunhild, you had better not disappoint me.' He thought to himself. As he tramped over the corpse of Incubus when he decided to harass Brunhild but Thor caught him before he could since he had wished to speak to Brunhild till she vanished.

Eventually every God and Mortal across space and time had gathered for Ragnarök, inside the Valhalla Arena.
"THIS IS THE MOMENT THAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR AGES!" Heimdall, the Watchman of Apocalypse shouted. "THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, TO BLOW THIS GJALLARHORN! THE TIME TO OPEN THE CURTAIN OF RAGNAROK…IS DRAWING NEAR! ARE YOU READY FOR THIS!?" He shouted. "THE RULES ARE SIMPLE. FIGHT TO THE DEATH! THAT'S IT! THE WINNER IS DECIDED BY THE COMPLETE ANNIHILATION OF THE OF THE OTHER SIDE!"
"It's about time…Big Sis Brunhild…Lord Zelretch." Geir said a bit nervously, but her body was firm and steady, after being exposed to the insanity that was the Multiverse, she gained what many would call a Spine.
"FROM THE SIDE OF THE GODS, THIS MAN! ONE KNOWN FOR HIS TREMENDOUS POWER AND HIS LEGENDARY WEAPON, MJOLNIR! IT'S THE STRONGEST NORDIC'S GOD, THE THUNDER BERSERKER!" Heimdall shouted. "THOR!"
The same red headed God that observed the Valkyrie's meeting with Zelretch was indeed Thor, as he appeared in the arena with the same bored look on his face, meanwhile Odin from where he was looked down at his son with only one thing to say.
"Kill them." Odin said emotionlessly.
On the side of the humans, Brunhild, Geir, and Zelretch were watching. But it wasn't just humans, there was also, Beast Men, Elves, Dwarves, Aliens, Angels, Demons, and Half Breeds of all in between, watching this fight.
"Yikes." Geir gulped at the sight of the Thunder Berserker.
'As expected, Lord Thor is the first one to fight.' Brunhild thought. 'Zelretch, I hope the warriors we picked are enough…' She thought to herself.
"AND FROM THE SIDE OF MANKIND, A TRUE WARRIOR! HAVING TAKEN ON THE WORLD'S GOVERNMENT WHERE HE'S FROM, AND FIGHTING AND SURPASSING ALL MANNER OF FOES BEFORE HIM, BEFORE HE GAVE HIS LIFE AND VERY EXISTENCE FOR THE SAKE OF THE FUTURE OF HIS WORLD! THE ONE! THE ONLY! RAGNA THE BLOODEDGE!" Heimdall shouted.
Soon an tall albino man with Heterochromia iridium eyes of red and green with spikey hair wearing a vibrant red sleeved jacket with two long thin tails hanging off the back of it, with a black shirt with three red belts across it, a pair of black gloves with red shells on their back, and a pair of black Hakama pants, with a large blade known as Aramasa sheathed across his back, entered the stage and a fierce and determined look on his face as he walked in and cracked his neck as he readied himself to face Thor.
"My oh my, have to say, he doesn't look half bad." Aphrodite noted with approval as the golem familiars held up her large tract of land.
"So this is Humanity's Vanguard." A certain God of Luck rumbled as he and six other Gods of Luck watched the fight from afar.
"So the question is, will this one even prove to be a challenge." An Nordic God said maliciously with a dark smile on his face.
Meanwhile some humans were praying for salvation and victory, which Brunhild noticed and called out on. "Human, you better stop praying. Since the ones that we have to defeat… are none other than the Gods that you're praying too." Brunhild stated.
"Sadly, that is the case." Zelretch nodded in agreement.
"THIS IS TRULY, THE BATTLE OF THE STRONGEST!" Heimdall shouted. "THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE STADIUM IS AT MAXIMUM VOLTAGE!"
"Lord Thor, please destroy that puny mortal in one hit!" Shouted Forseti, God of Justice, like a fan girl.
And when he heard that, Ragna simply gave a dark and intimidating look to the fanboy, scaring him and left him trembling with fear.
"Why the hell are you scared?" A god asked him.
"I-I don't know, it's just that mortal's aura…" Forseti said, unsure.
"Big Brother, win for us, and show that God what you're made of!" Noel cheered on from the seat of Mankind as Jin was smirking and made an ice sculpture that said. WIN AND DEFEAT THE PUNY GODS written out.
"So, it all comes down to the kid, I hope you can make it through this." Jubei said in concern as he too sat down on the side of Humanity as he looked over his Pupil with worry as this was what even he may be doing. "You already sacrificed yourself for the world, I don't want to lose you again."
"You worry too much." A voluptuous long pink haired woman in a scantily black form fitting witch's outfit with a witch hat to complete the look. "Ragna's no pushover, he's done things not even we're capable of, and if there's anyone who can stick it to the Gods, it would be that idiot." Nine, the Phantom declared.
"As much as it annoys me to say it, but mom's right about Ragna." Kokonoe said chewing on her candy. "He has a thing for throwing a spanner in the works."
"Ragna, fight well." A black Lolita fashioned wearing blonde girl with pigtails said silently under her breath as her butler poured her some tea to calm her nerves.
"Madam Rachel, don't underestimate that barbaric fool, he has thrown even the likes of us off before." Valkenhayn assured her.
Celica was only watching in concern. "Ragna, win." She said in a prayer pose for him.
Tsubaki just observed the battle that's about to occur. "Ragna the Bloodedge, you better not let us down." She said calmly. "Your family's counting on you, your race is counting on you."
And those were among the countless people that sat down on the side of humanity, with people closest to Ragna or hailing from his world near the battle, with plenty of them ordering or cheering for Ragna to win.
Meanwhile, Brunhild, Geir, and Zelretch were waiting for the fight to begin. Geir still wasn't sure about how this would go.
"Sister Hild and Lord Zelretch… does Ragna even stand a chance?" Geir asked.
"Mortals cannot defeat the Gods, that's what your thinking isn't it?" Brunhild asked.
"Ah no… that's…" Geir said nervously.
"And I'm certain that's also whatever single God here is thinking but that's precisely why… Humanity has a chance of ramming a fist up the arse of the Gods that shat on them from above." Brunhild said with a calm smile.
"Gods that shat on them?" Geir repeated.
"God that shat on them." Brunhild stated firmly.
"Ramming their fist up their arse?" Geir repeated.
"Ramming their fist up their arse." Brunhild stated firmly again.
'Sometimes her manner of speech gets really vulgar…' Geir thought with a sweat drop as Zelretch chuckled.
"If it were anyone else, you may have had a point, little Valkyrie." Zelretch said to Geir but he smirked widely. "But among all people from that world, Ragna's the only one with the chance to win, since he is among a select few warriors that have rightfully earned the title of God Slayer." He declared proudly as Brunhild smirked.
'It's finally beginning! The duel…' Geir thought nervously.

Heimdall took the Gjallarhorn and at the ready, how he long to use the horn and blow through and now he has the chance. So, with a deep breath, he blew into the horn and signaled the start of Ragnarök!
Both warriors lowered their weapons and began to close the distance between them, as everyone was confused by it, but continued to watch. Thor had the same bored look on his face while Ragna had his determined look on his face.
"Oho? Neither is interested in the other's opening move. It seems like they are not planning on observing each other at all." Zeus stated.
"What the hell is with him? Doesn't that mortal know the meaning of fear?" Forseti asked.
The two began closing the distance even more, the tension was getting high. As everyone was on edge with how things would go.
"Sister…Lord Zelretch…will he really be alright!? If anything, now he seems to be simply boldly inviting him in to attack him!?" Geir asked, growing more worried.
"Just watch and see." Zelretch told her, Brunhild remained quiet but had a smirk. 'Show them the power of the man that killed Susanoo.' He thought.
Ragna and Thor were now face-to-face, and even though they were bred differently the one thing that they shared was their claim for the title of the Strongest. With that in mind the two raised their weapons and with their very first strike, they intended to annihilate their opponent!
The force from the clash of weapons was so strong it created a powerful gust of wind that reached all the way where the Wizard Marshal and Valkyries were. Ragna put more power into his arms and forced the Nordic God back and closed the distance between them and went for another swing of his blade. Both of them fought so many battles and defeated so many enemies this was the first time that their foe was able to withstand their blow in a long time. The two clashed with their weapons again and create an even stronger gust of wind then before, Ragna was perfectly calm in the face of this while Thor was now curious about the mortal and his rising power.
"A-AMAZING! THEIR EQUAL! THEIR POWER IS AN EQUAL MATCH-UP!" Heimdall shouted. "WHAT AN AMAZING DEVELOPMENT!"
"A mere mortal's keeping up…hohoho but it won't be long now…until Thor unleashes his true power~." Zeus said, enjoying the fight.
Shiva blinked at what he saw. "So the measly ape managed to block the first blow." he noted.
Thor jumped back and ready himself, unleashing lightning from his hands and gripping his hammer with both of them. He then takes an odd stance, almost like he was about to fall on his back. The story behind this stance was when a horde of giants attacked Asgard and nearly destroyed it, but Thor was able to finish them all off with his instant kill technique and tales of his glory was told.
"Playtime is over." Zeus stated.
"Show them." Odin ordered.
Thor unleashes the killer move named, Thor's Hammer! Ragna looked at the technique with surprise and after that, a huge bursting flash of lightning that reached the skies appeared before it slammed into where Ragna was, as a huge gust of wind and dust kicked up. Geir looked at the scene with dread, believing that everything was already over for the fight.
'That's…the true strength of a God?' Geir thought. 'It's over no matter how you look at it…even the thought of a mortal beating a God is foolish after all…' She thought, falling to her knees in despair.
"Stand up, Geir." Brunhild told her.
"Sister." Geir said, facing the older Valkyrie. "No more! I…I can't watch any longer!"
"Don't avert your eyes…" Brunhild told her.
"But!" Geir said, not understanding.
"She's right you know." Zelretch said to her as he smiled. "You're going to miss a most historical moment." He said as the smoke cleared up and much to the shock of every God. Ragna was still there alive and well!
Surrounding Ragna was an aura of dark energy that he seemingly released from his right arm as Ragna had activated his Azure Grimoire to use Gauntlet Hades to take most of the energy released from Thor's Hammer and he used Blood Kain to enhance his physical prowess to withstand Thor's Hammer.
Soon Ragna dropped his stoic look and smirked at Thor. "Is that the best you can do you Pansy?" He taunted.
Then with one swing of his sword as Ragna shouted, "Dead Spike!" An aura of darkness shaped into a monster's head roared as it slammed Thor across the chest and made the God take some serious damage! Everyone was shocked that a mortal was able to injure a God. the same thing crosses both their minds, had they been born in the same time and same place or even born in the same race, they would have been enemies.
"Bastard, strength like that is wasted on a mortal like you." Thor said with a smirk.
"So you say, you big bastard." Ragna scoffed before he focused once more on the battle.
Ragna swung his sword at the God once again and Thor blocked the attack, their weapons grinded against each other so hard they created sparks as surrounding them was dark and lightning energy as the Reaper and Berserker tried to overwhelm one another with sheer strength.
Then Ragna jumped back and charged up another attack. "Hell's Fang!" Ragna roared as his left arm was surrounded in energy as he smashed in Thor's face, and shocking even Thor himself, Ragna was somehow draining him of his life energy, forcing him to smash back Ragna least he lost more energy as Thor felt weakened from that attack.

"Hmm…how strange." Zeus said, trying to figure how it was possible for a God to be injured.
"Lord Zeus! Is there something about him that interests you!?" Hermes, One of the Twelve Olympian Gods shouted over the loud clashing noises of the battle beneath them.
"Something impossible has occurred…" Zeus stated.
"You're wondering how a mere mortal is able to keep up with a God!?" Hermes shouted the question.
"Oh, shut up already! Don't shout right in my ear!" Zeus shouted back. "I'm not so old my ears have stopped working!" He shouted with a huff, then calmed down. "There is that…but there another issue is that he's up against Mjolnir. Any weapon made by man should've been destroyed in one-hit." He pointed out. "So that should be impossible… man-made weaponry would never stand against, wait a second…" He looked to where Brunhild and Zelretch were, the Valkyrie shot the God a sly grin and Zelretch gave a trollish grin. "Hmph. I see your plot, Valkyrie Girl, Interloper."
"Sister, Lord Zeus is looking over here with a creepy smile." Geir said in fright.
"It appears he's noticed." Brunhild stated.
"It would seem so." Zelretch shrugged.
Prior to the beginning of Ragnarök.
Zelretch opened up a portal into the unknown which to him was known as the Boundary as Geir shivered at all the energy around her. "Just where are we?" She asked nervously.
"The Boundary, or more specifically the Abyss of the Azure, a place in which all souls return and sleep, the ultimate and final destination for all those that had died." Zelretch said solemnly.
"And why are we here?" Brunhild asked.
"It's because the one we need is resting here." Zelretch said, much to the surprise of the Valkyries. "And with the way Heaven works, I believe we can grant this warrior's soul awakening once more to protect humanity." He said to them.
"But why though? Why this one in particular?" Brunhild asked in confusion as Zelretch smiled.
"Because this Man, faced off against a God and won." He declared much to both of the Valkyrie's surprise. "I mean it, this man's a legitimate God Slayer and his strength will be needed for this fight."
"I see." Brunhild nodded as Zelretch found the soul and Brunhild gently guided the soul to within her grasp. "Don't worry, it may seem confusing, but I assure you, we have good reasons to disturb your rest." Brunhild said kindly as she, Geir and Zelretch continued their recruitment spree.
And now Ragna and the other members of the Thirteen Champions picked by Zelretch and Brunhild that were selected were brought back to where the Battle for Humanity's Right to live was explained to them, and not a single one of them hesitated to do so and all of them agreed to fight.
And all of them walked off to prepare for their battles or to rest up.
"Big Sis, Lord Null, even if he's a God Slayer. Do you really think he's capable of going up against a God? Let alone Lord Thor?" Geir asked them.
"Obviously, he's got no chance." Brunhild answered.
"He does have a chance." Zelretch said at the same time as both Valkyrie and Wizard Marshal glared at each other in comical anger.
"Why are you two saying two different things at once!?" Geir asked in comedic horror.
"The cheats the Gods have are their divine weapons, have been forged and honed within heaven..." Brunhild explained.
"Compared to the weapons of Mankind, they are simply toys, and therefore would be smashed to pieces within seconds." Zelretch grudgingly added in before he smiled. "However, their weapons and abilities are not standard in the least so many of them can hurt Gods." Zelretch added in.
"So, you say." Brunhild snorted. "Geir, there is no way in hell that the mortals can defeat Gods wielding their divine weapons." Brunhild stated.
"No way in hell…" Geir said weakly, filled with dread. "WE'RE DOOOOOOOOMED!" She shouted.
"Fufufu, you're right here. We're absolutely doomed~." Brunhild stated. "So let me ask you this. What if mortals had divine weapons as well?"
"Huh." Geir asked, confused.
"Brunhild is working on the idea of having Divine Weapons for the Champions." Zelretch said. "While I would say their abilities would be enough, this would in fact be reassuring." He conceded.
"You called dear sister." A voice said in a plum of blossom petaled. "In accordance with our sister, Brunhild's summoning. We, the Eleven Valkyrie Sisters, have gathered."
"Oh…our sisters!" Geir in awe.
"Quite a sight to behold if I do say so myself." Zelretch said softly.
"This is the first time all Thirteen of us have gathered in one place?!" Geir said surprise. "But why…"
"Randgriz. Step forth." Brunhild called out.
"Yes. dear sister." Randgriz, the Fourth Valkyrie said, approaching as a beautiful woman with long and wide light brown hair that reaches her waist with a double ended metal spear hairpin on the back of her top hair wearing an elegant dress of a noblewoman.
"Sister Griz." Geir said happy.
"Miss Randgriz." Zelretch said with a bow, as she bowed back.
"Randgriz, I take it you know of Lord Thor's armaments?" Brunhild asked.
"Of course. The Jarngreipr, gauntlets capable of withstanding any attack." Randgriz explained. "And most importantly, "Jotun Bane", more commonly known as Mjolnir."
"Indeed." Brunhild stated. "Those two that Thor wields are Heaven's strongest, shittiest cheats. In order to win against Lord Thor, first we must overcome those obstacles." She stated. "Randgriz… will you pledge your body to me?" She asked.
"Of course, sister. With pleasure." Randgriz answered.
'Pledge your body?' Geir thought in confusion.
Back to the present
Ragna and Thor continued their fight as they clashed with each other and Ragna's blade soon glowed to reveal Randgriz.
What is that weapon?" Hermes asked, trying to see past the light.
"Just as I thought…" Zeus stated.
'That right there is the secret of us sisters…our counter to the God's cheat! Is our very own cheat!' Brunhild thought with a wide smile.
'The body of a Valkyrie's body can become one with any mortal weapon or become one if need be. Allowing our Champions an edge that they'll need to win.' Zelretch mused. 'The technique is called…Volund!'
Ragna rushed and used Spin Kick as his legs glowed and was covered in energy as he smashed down Thor's Hammer and knocking it out of his grasp as Thor quickly brought up his arms to defend himself.
"A weapon that has become divine, takes on the traits of the Valkyrie it possesses. The Fourth Sister, Randgriz." Brunhild explained. "Is…Sheildbreaker!" After she said that, one of Thor's gauntlets shattered!
"Let the Battle truly begin now." Zelretch said stoically and seriously.
Once Ragna had shattered one of Thor's gauntlets, he didn't waste time attacking once again, The Nordic God blocked with his hammer. Every mortal was cheering for the Azure Guardian, because for the first time they have surpassed their creators! Ragna went for another swing but Thor dodged, he keeps attacking with a barrage of lethal slashes and kicks and in the middle of his furious frenzy, Thor swung his hammer right for his head but at the last second, he blocked with his sword and went sliding across the arena.
But Ragna rushed forward and unleashed another Dead Spike followed up with a Carnage Scissor before he finished it off with an Inferno Divider. And at the same time drain Thor of lots of his life energy and causing him many wounds, and at the same time, Hermes finished explaining to Zeus over the nature of Volund.
"Yes… that's right…those prissy little girls…against, us mighty Gods…this is a rebellion!" Zeus shouted, not pleased in the least with this development. "But…to think that the Valkyries…would seriously turn their blades on us…it's so…this is just…the greatest thrill I've had ever since the Big Bang!" Zeus said with a look of great pleasure, as his muscle swelled up. "Right? Br-bru-bru-bru-bru-bru-bru-bru-Brunhild?" He asked, perversely. Freaking out Geir, as Brunhild has a blank face, and Zelretch openly sneered at the God in question.
'Quit staring over here. Creepy mother fucking geezer.' Brunhild thought.
'No matter which reality I go to, Zeus always finds a way to be a massive bag of dicks.' Zelretch thought in annoyance as he swore one day to wipe out Zeus from the known Multiverse, Damn the Consequences!
Ragna was about to continue the fight but a thundering boom was heard and when everyone looked where it was coming from, they saw Mjolnir was trembling and melting the ground under it into liquid hot stone, but Ragna stepped back and readied himself as he had a feeling this wasn't over.
"TH-THIS IS AMAZING, FOLKS! JUST LIKE IN THE LEGEND, IT'S WHITE HOT!" Heimdall shouted. "BUT WHY NOW…!? WELL, IN ANY CASE…LORD THOR HAS LOST ONE OF HIS JARNGREIPR…CAN HE EVEN WIELD MJOLNIR ANYMORE!?"
All the Gods with the exception of Zeus and Odin began to dread the worse, believing Thor could no longer use his hammer. Then everyone began to hear a thumping sound and it was coming from Mjolnir, it was revealed that it was pulsing!?
"Finally…you've awakened." Thor stated, and then veins burst from the hammer!
"Gaaaaaaah! It got veins!? Wha…? Huh…? Is that thing alive!?" Geir asked, completely freaking out. Even Brunhild was taken aback in shock, only Zelretch remained unfazed but his eyes sharpened.
"Ohoho, so Mjolnir has finally awakened, eh?" Zeus stated.
"Awakened…you say?" Hermes asked, curious.
"See, there's a slight misunderstanding in the legend about Mjolnir and Jarngreipr…the gloves weren't there to protect Thor from Mjolnir." Zeus told Hermes. "Instead, it was actually there in order to protect Mjolnir, prior to its awakening from the weight of Thor's swing." He explained, and while he did Thor toss his other glove to the side.
"He's going all out!" The White Raven cawed out.
"He is, he is, he is!" The Black Raven cackled.
"Come on, sleepyhead." Thor said, lifting his hammer with one hand. "Human…no your name was Ragna, right? I have one request to make." And lightning burst from the hammer. "Don't die on me now."
Ragna scoffed. "Like Hell I'm going to die here."
Back in the stands, Brunhild had received a message from her heavenly phone and pulled it out, Geir and Zelretch saw this and but he remained silent while Geir felt the need to point it out.
"Ah! That's not allowed, you know! You have to turn your phone off while in the Arena." Geir stated.
Brunhild had a look of pure shock on her face, then smirked and Zelretch had a feeling for why that is, but Geir remained confused.
"It's here. The list of combatants for Ragnarök." Brunhild told her, then showed the list.
"Huh? Th-This is it…?" Geir said, trembling. "The Twenty-Six Names that will decide everything? And the countdown to decide humanity's fate…for all Humanity, these are the final Thirteen!"
"Indeed, the Thirteen Strongest Gods vs the Thirteen Strongest Humans that we have gathered." Zelretch said grimly.

"Final? Fufufu…no, Geir one day, these warriors will be known as…The Einherjar!" Brunhild shouted with the brightest smile on her face that she seeminly glowed.
On the side of the Gods, Hermes showed Zeus the roster and he was very pleased with what he saw. Back with Ragna and Thor, the Nordic God was now getting serious and the Grim Reaper was getting ready to counterattack as he readied one of his Trump Cards. "Going into Overdrive, Idea Engine Linked!"
It was a rare sight it beheld, the mighty Thor with his awakened Mjolnir was getting serious. Even the all-omniscient Gods were in awe at the sight!
Thor spin around and toss his hammer with both hands, Mjolnir spun right at Ragna with great speed, he was able to dodge by leaning back then right at the God with the intent of cutting him in half but the hammer spun right back at him, luckily Ragna was able to avoid the Hammer using the enhanced prowess granted to him from Blood Kain Idea.
Thor caught the hammer and combined the velocity and centrifugal force and being through with all his own might had created the ultimate blow, this surprised everyone. The name of this technique was called, Geirrod.
In this battle of the strongest, Thor displayed his finest smile while Ragna would meet it with his most vicious snarl.
Soon the Guardian of the Azure was surrounded by dark energy as he formed it into a barrier as he took on the strongest technique that Thor would unleash upon him. There was a large crash and it kicked up a cloud of dust obscuring the vision of everyone.
"That attack buried Jormungandr…what's with that mortal..." The Black Raven asked, confused.
"Ragna! Quit making my sister do all the heavy lifting!" Geir shouted. "Hm?" She said confused.
Even though Ragna did survive the attack, he did not make it out unscathed as he breathing heavily and was bleeding quite badly as he still focused on Thor.
"Ragna!" Nearly everyone from his world shouted.
"Come on kid, don't give up now." Jubei gritted his teeth.
"His body may be fine externally but blocking that much power isn't easily done, I imagine that he has plenty of internal injuries as well." Litchi observed in worry for the Azure Guardian.
"Brother!" Noel and Jin shouted with tears and worry on their faces.
Meanwhile on the side of the Gods, they were more than glad to see a mortal pushed to the brink before they would die.
"Hermes…" Zeus called out.
"Yes?" Hermes answered.
"Isn't it just wonderful…? To watch men, fight and die?" Zeus said, taking great pleasure of the sight before him. "Although, seeing him take Thor's might head-on…he's shown us something special…but the time is up for him."
Odin could only look pleased. "Regardless of how strong he is a human is no match for a God."
"Dear Sister! Ragna! Hurry up and move out the way!" Geir shouted. "Please…"
"Dammit!" Brunhild cursed. "Is this really it?"
All of humanity had thought it was over, except for three beings…one of whom was the Wizard Marshal, the other was a certain bombastic Ninja, and the last was the Ninth Strongest Mage in her world. "Don't look so down Valkyries." Zelretch called out. "Ragna still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve." He said as he observed Ragna even closer and smirked. 'So that's your idea huh?'
"Come on Ragna! Teach those Gods a lesson, you can't give up not with Justice on your side!" Bang roared out.
Nine was silent as she observed what Ragna was doing and smirked. 'Seems that Bloodedge has gotten smarter after I died or after he died.' She thought in amusement.
That lit a fire under everyone and soon everyone was chanting and shouting for Ragna to get up and fight. Ragna then slowed down his breathing and stood firm and proud as all of humanity cheered as Ragna got back up and ready to fight. Thor had an excited smile on his face, finally getting a challenge for once in his life.
"Damn it, they're so loud." Ragna complained with amusement tinged in it. "First time anyone ever cheered me on like this." He said with a soft smile as he lost that smile as he turned to face Thor. "Sorry Thor, but I am not kicking the bucket just yet, it isn't over till it's over." Ragna declared as he pointed his blade at Thor, however shakily he held his weapon as dark energy surrounded him.
"Now then, we're most likely going to see the powers of the Man that once killed a God and saved the World from an Endless Time Loop." Zelretch mused as he smiled at the sight. 'Humanity, even after all this time, still manages to surprise me, I suppose that's why I love them.'
"It's time to cut it loose now." Ragna declared before mentally speaking to Randgriz. 'Hey Randgriz, sorry to ask this of you but can you release the limiters on my arm? I need to go all out.' He asked for.
"I do not know why you intend to do so but considering the circumstances, I shall abide by you.' She replied as kindly as ever as the golden glow on his right arm got brighter before it vanished as Ragna smirked.
"Idea Engine Maximum Output!" Ragna declared as he was soon glowing with immense dark energy around him. "BlazBlue Activate!" He commanded before that dark energy got even stronger as Ragna readied himself and charged at Thor.
Ragna was soon clashing with Thor as Ragna used an impressive combination of sword-based attacks mixed in with his own physical attacks as well as mixing them up with his Azure Grimoire. Ragna punched Thor upwards before unleashing a Gauntlet Hades on him following u with a Spin Kick causing Thor to cough up blood before Ragna grabbed and smashed him to the ground and unleashed an Ax Kick on Thor.
Soon Thor got up and his eyes widened as Ragna unleased a Dead Spike as it came swarming at him forcing Thor to go on the defensive to block with his hammer and even then, Thor couldn't help but notice that his own hammer was somehow becoming a bit warned out every time they clashed, but he still continued.
"L-Lord Zelretch, how is Ragna doing this?" Geir asked in shock of the sight.
"Ragna has always been exceptionally strong." Zelretch replied as Thor unleashed another attack that Ragna blocked with his powers before going in for another attack. "But at the beginning of that journey he always relied more on that power you see before you. The power of the Azure Grimoire, it is only when he lost access to it that he started to master his strength and pushed it to its limits and managed to match one of the strongest men in his world with his strength alone and little use of that energy." Zelretch explained.
Brunhild couldn't care less for what Zelretch was talking about, as her complete attention was focused on Ragna the Bloodedge, she couldn't help but be highly impressed by what Ragna's being doing as both Combatants unleashed another attack at one another and canceled each other's attacks out. "So, this is the power of the man known as the Azure Guardian." She said in awe.
"And now in death Ragna has mastered control of both his Body and his Grimoire, and for that reason alone, he of all people right now, can match Thor blow for blow!" Zelretch declared as Ragna unleashed another Hell's Fang which smashed into Thor's face, followed up with another demonic beast head that slammed and smashed away Thor.
Thor soon jumped back up and charged at Ragna, who once again managed to block Thor's hammer before Ragna unleashed an Inferno Divider as Thor coughed up more blood and wiped it off his face, as he looked at it and smirked, at finally having a challenge. The Nordic God channel bolts of electricity and attacks with a stream of lightning, to counter Ragna's Inferno Divider which canceled each other out, but causing Ragna some damage as he gritted his teeth.
Ragna and Thor charged at each other as Ragna's right arm became a demonic right arm as Ragna's sword blocked the hammer before the demonic right arm grabbed Thor. "Devoured by Darkness!" Ragna shouted as he smashed Thor around with it and with it, drained Thor of ungodly amount of life energy that even Thor was starting to feel weakened by it.
Despite all of that however, Thor couldn't help but truly be excited, Ragna has pushed him further than any other foe he has faced in his lifetime. He forced him to use Mjolnir in its true form and unleashed all of his devastating power and technique and yet Ragna still managed to survive that! Slowly he was beginning to see why Brunhild cared so much for these humans and why she is willing to go so far for them.
Ragna continued to attack with an onslaught of darkness covered attacks that Thor was able to block but the attacks left multiple cuts on the veins of the hammer and drip golden blood. Ragna was able to parry the hammer and with a mighty swing, was able to slash the Nordic God across chest once more, as Thor felt his life being drained by Ragna's attacks and yet Thor couldn't help but be excited by it. Thor soon coated his hammer in lighting and matched Ragna's attack head on with his Azure covered Blade as a mixture of white and black energy clashed furiously with each other for dominance.
Ragna tuned up the heat by jumping up and using Nightmare Edge to slash into Thor's body and causing the Nordic Berserker to cough up even more blood as all of the life draining techniques were finally started to affect Thor's formidable body as cracks slowly formed over his body in areas in which he had not been hit by Ragna's attacks. Yet he mere chuckled and tuned up the heat himself by clenching Mjolnir with both hands and channeled lightning through it and sent a bolt into the sky, a few moment later the clouds darken and begun to swarm, Thor then brought his hammer down and multiple bolts of lightning descend from the skies and struck that ground with the fury fit for a God.
Ragna now on the defensive, began blocking the storm of lightning with his Azure Grimoire, but there was simply too many and more than a good number of bolts struck his body and gave him some serious nasty shocks. This caused Ragna to start dodging as he charged up his attack and unleashed Seed of Tartarus up into the sky which clashed with the lightning storm and return the sky to normal once more.
"I can't believe!" Forseti gasped out. "How could a mere mortal match Thor of all people?!"
"Isn't it obvious?" A Celtic God spoke up causing Forseti to turn to him, who is revealed to be Lugh. "Those two are without doubt the Strongest they're is." He said before he gained a wide smirk. "A Contest of Strength between two Great Warriors!" He said excitedly.
"Sis…this power. I-I…" Geir was speechless.
"Zelretch…is this the power you were talking about?" Brunhild asked, sweating a bit.
"Indeed, this is what Ragna is capable of doing." Zelretch nodded, though he was surprised by what Ragna himself has done, but was within expectations.
Ragna was panting and bit, his body burned more severely but he could still manage to cough up blood into his and saw just how much damage he really took. He wipes it off and clenched his blade and soon to became a scythe, much to the shock of the audience, many of whom had not seen such a weapon. Then he charged straight at Thor, who met the charge with Mjolnir in his hands and coated it in lightning, both swing their weapons and when they came in connect, they clash with multiple flare of black and white energy more powerful than the last clash as they continue to swing their weapons at each other in hopes of landing a direct hit but it was not so easy.
Thor land a hit against Ragna's right arm, but the energy that was making the arm demonic was seemingly unaffected by it as it caused Mjolnir even more damage that was becoming very apparent to Thor and casual viewers alike. The Azure Guardian returned the favor by unleashing a Hell's Fang which impacted Thor's left shoulder, and weakening his grasp on his hammer. Then Ragna smashed Thor to the ground and unleashed a Seed of Tartarus attack, which enveloped Thor and sent him away from Ragna as Thor was breathing heavily on the ground now.
It was silent for a moment, the Gods thought it was over but Thor burst through the rubble alive but not well, he was panting and couldn't see out his right eye, blood dripping down from a bloody wound on the right side of his face by some miracle he was still all. Ragna merely grunted and tries to finish off the God with a slash from his blade. But Thor was able to block the attack, albeit just barely, he then grabbed the weapon and unleashes a mighty shock onto the Azure Guardian, then slammed his hammer against Ragna with all his might as he intended to bash the Reaper's head in but ended up hitting him directly in the chest and knocked him back, his mind was still scramble from the powerful blow but he could still fight.
Ragna spat out some blood and felt as though a few ribs were broken and the shock didn't help, and yet he still stood firm. This was a shock for Gods and mortals alike, the mortals never thought someone so powerful could be alive and the Gods never thought a mortal could push a God so far and deal out such damage. Mankind felt hope while the Gods felt despair. Thor took a knee and vomit up blood his was slowly fading, he looked at Ragna and knew that playtime was over, he picked himself up and gripped his hammer with both hands then lunged forward at Ragna and with all his might, he brought down Mjolnir!
Which then created a loud booming sound and pushed Ragna, and taking a page from Ragna's book, Thor channeled lightning into his right fist and slammed it directly into the chest of the Azure Guardian, a few moment later a flash of white hot light burst and blinding everyone with a bright flash, Ragna could only feel the painful shock and blazing heat course through him for few unbearable moments, yet he soldiered on through as he had felt worse pain in his life, and once the flash died down Mankind was in horror at the sight of Thor having his fist into Ragna's gut and him being covered in lethal burns, he pulled out his fist and focus all his strong and slammed his hammer into Ragna's chest and send him flying into a wall, the Azure Guardian was deep into wall and remained motionless.
Mankind had dreaded the worse and thought that Ragna was done for, believing it was over. Geir, Brunhild, and even Zelretch thought it was too much for even Ragna to handle. Thor was getting ready to finish Ragna off for good. Everything was dark and quiet for the Reaper; he wasn't sure if he was dead or just out of it.
But much to the shock of everyone, Ragna got back up and stood firm and steady and seemingly evaporating like a fog, what was Ragna's heavily damaged body revealed itself to be a Ragna that was beat up. But he had no serious injuries on him! This shocked just about everyone in the audience save for Zelretch and Nine, both of whom smirked at what Ragna planned.
Ragna had come a long way since the beginning of his journey, he had relied on brute force for solving most of his problems, but Ragna learned! He got smarter, better, stronger, and more importantly he learned patience and the value of strategy! Ragna was no fool to say the least, Jubei and Rachel, in order to prepare him to fight the NOL, had Ragna trained to be the best he was and was taught an assortment of useful skills, ranging from fighting, cooking, and more importantly Ars Magus.
Ragna's usage of Ars Magus was perhaps just as vital to Ragna's arsenal as was his sword and Azure Grimoire, with it, he managed to hide his identity in plain sight of NOL and was able to walk away for the most part unimpeded. Ragna himself was no slouch in the usage of Magic Formula as he needed to be proficient to maintain longstanding Magic to hide his face. Therefore, when Ragna first took the blow from Thor, he used Ars Magus to disguise himself to make it seem like he was worse off than he already was. He had tricked just about every God and Human there was, and most importantly Thor as well.
And using the power of his Azure Grimoire combined with his illusive magic, Ragna's been draining Thor of all of his life energy and forced Thor to exert more energy than he thought, by using some advanced Magic Formula, which Thor could never notice in the heat of battle, he was able to avoid the worst of the attacks and kept on healing himself by draining Thor's life energy and it has paid off! Thor was now weaker than ever before, with him breathing heavily, while Ragna, tired and exhausted he may be, was still fresh compared to him and more importantly, all of his body was perfectly fine and healed!
"Incredible!" Geir said in awe at what she saw as she deduced what Ragna planned out. "He managed to avoid the worst of Thor's attacks and even forced him to use up more energy and left Thor battered and tired!"
"I told you, even without the Volund, the champions I picked aren't so weak that they need the Volund to win." Zelretch smirked deeply at Brunhild who had a very audacious grin herself.
"Ragna has gotten much cleverer since the beginning of his journey." Rachel said joyfully with tears of relief and joy at the sight of Ragna being unharmed.
"I told you, Ragna would be okay." Nine said to Jubei who was just relieved.
"Brother." Noel said tearfully with the widest smile on her face.
"Damn it, Brother don't scare us like that." Jin said with a grin.
"So, this is Ragna the Bloodedge, got to say Noellie and Jinny has got some pretty tough older brother." Makoto said with a grin as her squirrel tail excitedly.
"Well, I guess being tough runs in the family a bit I suppose." Mai noted with a relieved look that Ragna has yet to lose.
"Oh, this is so exciting!" Kajun nearly squealed out. "The Science that there is to learn from this!" She said excitedly as she took down notes, worrying her friends who looked at her with an increasingly pale look on their faces.
Tsubaki was silent for a moment before she sprouted the biggest smile on her face as she jumped out and started yelling. "Come on Ragna! Show these Gods who is Boss!" She cheered on as many other started cheering for Ragna.
"BLOODEDGE!"
"BLOODEDGE!"
'BLOODEDGE!"
Humanity soon started chanting for Ragna from the youngest, Platinum, to the eldest, Jubei, from his closest companions, Rachel, to even his self declared arch enemy, Tsubaki. Each and every member of the audience from Ragna's world was cheering for him with all their might chanting for Ragna to win.
Ragna smiled at he heard all the chanting coming his way. "Well then got to live up the hype I suppose." Ragna chuckled out as he turned to face Thor. "So, since you're wounded beyond measure and I'm exhausted as fuck want to have one more final clash of both of our strongest attacks to finish it all off?" Ragna asked.
Thor looked at Ragna and smiled deeply. "Gladly!" He declared as he stood himself up readying his final and strongest attack that he had available to him. Ragna went and unleashed all the limiters he had on his Azure Grimoire as he winced at the pain but bared with it to be able to fight Thor. "It's now or never! Time to finish this all off!" Ragna roared as he was surrounded by dark energy and at the same time Thor was covered in lightning energy.
"I agree!" Thor rumbled as he charged up his attack and charged straight at Ragna the Bloodedge. "Double Geirrod!" He roared out using his greatest technique now as he intended to finish off Ragna with all he's got.
"Time to go beyond measure! Black Onslaught!" Ragna roared out as his sword became a scythe once more and Ragna was filled to the brim with dark energy as he charged at Thor and soon when they clashed a large explosion was made as dust clouds were made everywhere and no one could see the fight as they all had to turn their faces around to avoid the dust and rubble coming their way.
Zelretch, Brunhild, and Geir could only watch anxiously as they waited for the verdict of the match and everyone was silent and tensed for what the possible outcome could be. But when the dust cloud cleared up, it was clear that both fighters were down, much to everyone's shock.
Thor's body has been destroyed completely beyond repair and his hammer was shattered into pieces. All that was left of Thor was his upper body, and head, as his lower half, and arms were both destroyed. Ragna was in no better shape as he lost his sword and his right arm and was battered beyond belief.
"Brother!" Jin and Noel cried out.
"Damn it!" Jubei cursed.
Kagura was watching and scowling. "Come on Ragna, that can't be it now, can it?" He said quietly.
With the Gods, Odin's gaze darkened at what he saw and the other Gods were all shocked at what they saw and at the loss of Thor.
Heimdall rushed up to the battleground and examined both Fighters. "INCREDIBLE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE FIRST MATCH OF RAGNAROK WAS- "Heimdall announced before he was cut off.
"WAIT DAMN IT!" A voice called out as everyone gasp in shock at who it was! "I AM THE FUCKING WINNER!" Ragna roared out at the top of his lungs as he shakily stood up and pointing his left arm upwards, causing the Gods to gasp out even more.
"INCREDIBLE! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!" Heimdall shouted excitedly at the top of his lungs into his horn. "RAGNA THE BLOODEDGE HAS SURVIVED! I DECLARE THAT HUMANITY HAS WON THE FIRST MATCH!" He shouted as Humanity erupted into a furious storm of cheers and festivities, including the Valkyries and Zelretch.
Silence has completely taken the God's stand as they watched in shock and silence that they had lost, and with Thor of all people nonetheless. For them, the situation was a gigantic blow to their pride and ego, especially the Nordic Gods, they had no choice but to accept it, for not accepting it would be denying reality. Humanity has indeed, surpassed them, inferior beings that were made by them, and that made them all angry and would now show Mankind why they were Gods and they were going to crush Mankind's hope.
Odin's gaze darkens even more as he crushed his grip on his armrests as his Ravens watched in awkward silence and unable to do or say anything that would make him feel better.
"W-WHO COULD HAVE I-IMAGINED THIS RESULT! IN THE FIRST ROUND HUMANITY HAS CAME OUT ON TOP!" Heimdall announced as he stuttered a bit under Odin's dark look.
"T-Th-Thor…n-no…it…c-couldn't be!" Forseti cried out as he was in complete disbelief over what happened.
"Brother did it!" Noel cheered as she and Jin hugged each other laughing happily.
"Excellent work Ragna!" Jubei cheered out excitedly as Nine rolled her eyes at Jubei's actions but clapped heartily for Ragna as well with a smile on her face.
Kokonoe smiled softly as Iron Tager clapped heartily and offering his own congratulations towards Ragna. "Excellent work there, guess I can't talk shit about you anymore." She mused.
"Nyaaaa! Good Guy won!" Taokaka whooped excitedly as she and the rest of the KaKa Clan cheered for Ragna with Torakaka having the largest and biggest smile seen through her hood.
"I knew Ragna would win!" Bang declared proudly as he and the other Ninjas whooped for Ragna.
"Ragna, you did it!" Celica cheered happily as she clapped for him as heartily as she could.
"Mighty fine work there Ragna!" Kagura said with a large grin. "Take that you stupid Gods, we're One and you're Zero!" He taunted as the Gods grit their teeth in anger. Hibiki simply clapped for Ragna with a soft smile hidden beneath those clothes.
"Damn, that was exciting." Bullet said with a grin.
"Way to go Ragna!" Sena called out in the voice of Platinum the Trinity before he swapped with Luna. "Don't scare us like that you idiot!" She scolded before it became the final personality. "Ragna the Bloodedge, once again, you accomplished the impossible." Trinity said with a sweet and gentle smile.
"You the man Ragna!" Mai cheered happily for him.
"Unbelievable, he did it, that mad man went through so much but he did it!" Kajun said excitedly. "I must observe his body after this match, oh the science that can be learned~" She said excitedly as Ragna gained a shiver down his spine. "Oh, and his arm does need to be fixed too." She added in.
"He did it Valkenhayn, Ragna did it!" Rachel said tearfully with the widest smile on her face.
"Indeed Milady, Ragna the Bloodedge had done the impossible once more." The Butler said with a grin of his own.
"Yeah Ragna, you did it boy, yeah you did it!" Makoto cheered happily.
"Ragna the Bloodedge, you did it, you prevailed over that which we humans feared once more." Tsubaki said with a sweet smile. "I must reflect on all on my previous thoughts on you, as of now, you are certainly no criminal or great evil, right now you're a Hero." She said firmly.
"Ragna did it, Doctor, Ragna did it!" Linhua said to Litchi excitedly as she cheered for Ragna as Litchi smiled and nodded. 'That's Ragna for you, making the impossible possible.' She thought as a certain Hawk of Endymion sneezed in his cheers for Ragna.
Brunhild looked down upon the arena with the biggest smile on her face as Humanity obtained their first Victory as Geir cried joyfully and embraced her happily. "That look upon the faces of the Gods, this is…this is Humanity's Power!" She said in joy.
"Absolutely." Zelretch grinned. "This is but a taste of the potential of what Mankind has to offer and we still have to win about six more before Humanity's Extinction is cancelled." He reminded himself.
Back at the arena Ragna let out a curse as he forced himself to stand up and turned to the slowly disintegrating Thor, who had a calm and accepting smile on his face. "Well damn man, you were the toughest bastard I faced to date, so kudos to that." Ragna said to Thor.
Thor simply smiled even wider." And you were the most determined asshole I ever face too, Ragna the Bloodedge." Thor said as both Combatants looked at each other and nodded to one another with respect as Thor finally disintegrated.
Ragna let out a sigh as he struggled to maintain his balance only for sweet Randgriz to come out and help Ragna to his feet. "Damn, I feel like shit after that, but fuck was it worth it." Ragna said with a smirk.
"I agree Ragna the Bloodedge, this Victory was hard fought and earned, so I congratulate you on your Victory." She said kindly as she helped Ragna out by letting him lean on her as she held his severed arm as well.
"Couldn't have done it without you, so thanks Randgriz." Ragna said with a smirk. "And to protect the Future, I would fight all of the Gods here, damn the consequences." He spoke.
"Then let us go." Randgriz said as they left the Arena. "I must say, I am honored to have been your Volund and I will gladly follow you to wherever you go." She said as Ragna looked at her confusion.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked as Randgriz got closer and her face became a bit more teasing.
"In this battle by agreeing to become your Volund, we have united out Soul with you Soul so we can fight by your side. Until Death do us part, I will always be with you." She said as Ragna blushed at what she said and how it sounded like.
"Um, you do know that sounds like a marriage vow, right?" Ragna pointed out.
"Indeed, it does!" Randgriz said musically. "So, you must take responsibility." She said playfully.
Ragna blinked at her for a bit before he sighed and shrugged. "Well, you're less annoying than most people I had to deal with so that's a plus, and I guess that makes you kind of my soul mate, literally." He said with a blush as Randgriz surprised him and kissed him tenderly on the lips once they were out of sight.
"And I would gladly be that and more for you." Randgriz said as she gently patted Ragna's cheeks.
Ragna blushed even more. "Well, I suppose that could work." He said shyly as the newly formed duo walked away holding hands.
The battle had ended in a victory for Humanity, and they've won the first Round. But this is a taste of what is to come, for there are still twelve more matches to go through. And the Gods have many strong and powerful Warriors among them. Many of whom are eager to avenge their loss.
Round One of Ragnarök:
Ragna the Bloodedge Versus Thor: Ragna's Victory.
Deciding Move: Ragna's Aramasa: Black Onslaught.
Match Length: Twenty Minutes and Thirty Seconds.
XXXXX
Meanwhile with the Gods, Zeus was holding a meeting which involved Shiva, himself, Hermes, and Odin. The aftermath of the Round One had left a deep impression on all of them, they had lost Round One and now they were forced to accept Humanity had surpassed them, which was unthinkable.
"Now this is an interesting turn of events." Zeus stated.
"Interesting? How is this interesting!?" Shiva asked in anger. "Thor lost! To a mortal!"
"Thor was fated to die in Ragnarök, if he lost then it simply means that mortal was strong." Zeus stated before he got serious. "Strong enough to win that battle."
Odin didn't say a word, but the look of anger in his eyes was clear and his fingers were bleeding from how tightly he gripped the remains of his throne.
"Those little girls really do intend to kill us; so we should return it in kind." Zeus said seriously.

"I can't believe it! Ragna and Sister Griz won!" Geir said cheerfully as she, Brunhild and Zelretch retreated to their room to decide the next Fighter.
"Indeed." Zelretch chimed in. "However, we must be more cautious for no doubt the Gods will throw everything they got." He warned as Geir lost her cheer and nodded seriously.
"No doubt about that, meaning we got to go with the best of what mankind has to offer for this next match." Brunhild said seriously.
"If that's the case then who do we send out?" Geir asked.
"There's only one man I would be comfortable enough to sending out to fight." Zelretch said as he handed the profile to Brunhild who looked at it and nodded at his choice as Geir peered in to look at the file and widened her eyes.
"What? The Savior of the Century's End?!"
