Luka struggled against the furry bindings around him in vain.

"You will make a good husband" Said Nanabi giggling.

"Let him go..." A deep and powerful voice thundered out in the cavern.

"hmm? And who would you-" Nanabi spoke voice trailing off and jaw dropping as she saw the living myth in front of her.

"My name is not important, I will ask you one more time, Let, Him, Go." Growled Surtr, molten gold scars glowing.

"Are you a male monster?" Nanabi asks, a predatory smile stretching out across her face.

"Yes..." Answered Surtr drawing his Flamberge, its name, Eschaton Judgment, written in fiery runes across the blade.

Nanabi threw Luka off to the side while exclaiming, "While he may be a good mate, you will make a far finer catch!"

With that said, Nanabi's tails leapt forwards aiming to to tease and and subdue the prize in front of her.

Before the tails made contact she went flying into the cave wall, courtesy of a 8ft long coal black Flamberge smashing into her flank, flat side first.

A shiver of instinctual fear went down the spines of everyone in the cave, as a primal growl echoed out throughout the cavern.

Molten lines of power etched across his skin, giving off a soft glow.

As Surtr stomped towards her with fires in his eyes, Nanabi reeled in her fear and leapt to the right, just in time to dodge the fiery Flamberge smashing into the cave floor.

Unfortunately she had not been quick enough to dodge the flames that erupted from the sword's impact, and now some of her fur was burnt, and on fire.

With a yelp she frantically rolled across the ground to extinguish the fire, when she finally got rid of the fire she had to jump away from Surtr's sword, this time she avoided the flames.

Deciding that her normal method of subduement would be obsolete, she strengthened her tails with the power of the earth and struck out.

She was rewarded for her efforts with a small grunt and being flung into a wall, again.

'OW, that hurts! Just how strong is he?'

Gritting her teeth, Nanabi struggled back up, releasing with a sinking feeling that she could not dodge the strike, and that it would be a lethal blow.

Bracing herself for her inevitable death, closing her eyes, the last thing she saw was the massive blade blurring forward, and the ground lurched under her.

The second part should be longer. On another note, I wonder how Tamamo will react to Nanabi being dead, probably not very well I'm guessing.

That's gonna be fun.
