Chapter 1
"AAAHHHH! It's DONE!"
It was all over. Yuuji flopped on his bed the moment he got back to the school. Suiryu, however, sighed aloud. "It was over far too soon… I thought for certain we would have been given a more gratifying fight…" he muttered. "Honestly, I was disappointed in Paum and Chukan, they had a thousand years to become an equal to Sukuna… and they didn't even reach it!"
"I am not complaining the least bit, if the other members are that weak, we should be okay to deal with them easily." Yuuji peered over at him but smirked. "As for the a gratifying fight… You got to take on a whole wave yourself…"
His arms crossed as he pouted. "I should have taken them all on, but you insisted that your friends and the brothers get some practice in; I need to respect my brother's wishes after all…" he said with a sigh. He then realized something. "So, your veins have healed, huh?"
Yuuji snapped out of bed. "I totally forgot about that!" he said but then looked at his arms; he felt the flow of energy once more coursing through him without trouble. "Yeah, it's good!" he said proudly.
"It better be, Fushiguro told me you used Satoru's purple move with all four arms… you would have blown up those limbs if not properly healed…"
"They grow back," Yuuji snickered.
"Not with blocked energy,"
His smile vanished, as he appeared rather pale. "Oh… WHY DOESN'T ANYONE TELL ME THESE THINGS!"
His brother snickered aloud. "You like to learn the hard way, don't you, bro? But I am rather curious about what happened after you ate Jojo that reaction I have never seen in you before. Let alone Sukuna… his memories got nothing on that." he said offhandedly but then shrugged his shoulders. "Either way, I better go clean up and get this blood off of me… oh yeah… I got another photoshoot tomorrow…" he paused and smelt himself. A wave of disgust came over him. "I doubt there is enough soap in this school that will get the stench of curses out of me…"
He trailed off to shower as Yuuji snickered at his misfortune. But just as he did, Suiryu peered back. "I forgot to mention; some horror magazine had called D'angelo about our little photoshoot… they want to do another! We just need to tell them when you are available next!" before rushing to the bathroom.
"HEY! I DIDN'T AGREE TO THAT!"

Later that night.
They processed and gave an accurate report to the elders on their battle; they saw how well everyone fought. Despite the previous meeting before with Yaga, this time around, it was called by someone else.
"So, has your stance changed now?"
For once, Gojo was in charge of the assembly. The elders sat there, dumbfounded at what they had learned from the war that just transpired. Even though Yaga tried to explain earlier but was ignored, Gojo since walked in and confirmed everything from the battle.
Despite their refusal at first to hear, Yaga insisted. "This was against the fifth hand that we warned about; you don't want to know what they are capable of?" he demanded of them.
Since then, they sat in listened as Gojo gave the details. They encountered the first of Sukuna's fifth hand, they are indeed powerful, and if it had not been for Yuuji and Suiryu, they would have been somewhat underprepared for it all.
Principal Yaga, however, nodded. "I have had a change of stance of one Suiryu Itadori… the students in battle was nothing short than amazing. We are going to speak to the Itadori brothers about the curse wombs…"
"So he did take them on purpose!" one elder shouted.
Gojo shook his head. "If you look at the video, his eyes are closed, both sets, the only one that was open was the one on the top of his head. From what Yuuji tells me, that eye allows him to see the divine, but nothing more. We also haven't taken into consideration. At the time Itadori had no use of his jujutsu, due to what happened in Kyoto. With that in mind, how did he get into the vault where we keep all special grade items in the school? As well, the barrier in place, the fact that the vault constantly moves… how did he know where to find it? If anything, I think his new roommate took matters into his own hands… or claws… whatever," he said and snickered. "I do admit, the brothers were remarkable and did everything asked of them. Had it not been for them, I am certain we would have had a great number of casualties…"
"Speaking of which, how many of our forces died?" one elder asked.
Yaga smiled. "None," he said proudly. "This has been the first time where we have not lost a sorcerer, remarkable isn't it?" he said aloud.
There was an odd look in the elders' faces, and they still distrusted the Itadori brothers and the curse wombs. "Where are the curses now?"
"Suiryu has them set up in a remote location, away from the cities but close to the school. Oddly enough, the brothers are rather complacent to where they are, as long as they are together and have means of food and entertainment, they are not bad guys," Gojo said offhandedly.
The room paused and stared at him. "Did you know about them ahead of time?" demanded Yaga.
He smirked. "Yeah,"
"Goddamn…"
"Look, they helped us, they fought next to us, and it is only fair…"
"They are special grade cursed humans," one elder protested. "We have overlooked the demon vessel, for the time being, this… Suiryu you speak of isn't sitting well with ANY member of the council, and now, you are asking us to turn a blind eye to the curse wombs which have become flesh and blood!?"
"See, I didn't even have to tell you what my intentions were!" Gojo laughed. "You still got a little bit of brain juice up there, don't ya?"
"Satoru…" Yaga said in a warning tone.
"You just admitted yourself that Suiryu Itadori was a good teacher… in fact, he has been one of the best ones we have had! He took his time with each student, pointed out their flaws, and then turned them into strength. He was able to improve the curse abilities of those willing to learn, but… you won't admit that out loud, would you?"
Yaga paused. "I admit, he is a remarkable teacher, and I am sorry for doubting him earlier…"
"Yaga…" the elders said in a warning tone themselves. "We are talking about a living piece of Sukuna among us…"
"One that could have killed us a thousand times over by now," Gojo stated. "You can't look past where he came from, just like with Yuuji, you can't see beyond the circumstance he has put in. But now, we have two formidable sorcerers. You don't have to keep depending on me!" he stated.
There came an odd pause from the elders; one cleared his throat and said. "If they were so powerful, why did they not resolve the issue themselves? It was obvious from what Yaga told us. The Itadori brothers could have easily taken out this member of the fifth hand on their own… why did they drag us into it?"
Gojo was waiting for this question. The smile grew on his lips. "Had they, would you have believed them?" he asked.
The room went silent. With that, Gojo waved them off. "I'm going to bed now, it's been a long day, and quite frankly… (Yawn) You guys are putting me to sleep. Later," he walked out shortly after but snickered. "I already know the answer to that, but as well… they don't fight all the battles, or we will become too dependent on them. Smart kids… well… one kid and one whatever the hell he is…"
