Prologue
Into the Next World
My name is Reuben McGrath, and I'm what you'd call a hardcore gamer, as well as master swordsman when I go larping with my friends. I also like playing video games like Final Fantasy 14, The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Skyrim, Even some other games that have swordplay in them. One day, I recently heard some people talking about girls who fight a great darkness, and wear bikinis for armor. I was a bit skeptical at first. Warriors clad in bikinis for armor, when they fight darkness? That's just silly. But at the same time, I was curious about these Bikini Warriors. Some of them were beautiful and some of them looked cute, but fighting in something girls wear at a beach, to fight deadly monsters. One day, I was playing with my friends, but it was through Final Fantasy 14 and I had to fight off some pretty nasty enemies in a dungeon.
"Almost there guys, we've got him on the ropes!" I said, as we struck at Ultima Weapon with everything we had.
When we managed to defeat him, I had managed to reach Level 80 on Dark Knight, before parting ways with the other players, so that I could undertake the final Dark Knight Quest. After that, I had decided that enough was enough, and that it was time to sleep after I shut down my game. But as I slept, I began to have a strange dream, I saw 8 beautiful girls all clad in bikinis. The first girl with magenta hair and eyes slowly stepped up to me, giving me a beautiful smile.
"I'm Fighter, it's nice to meet you," she said.
The second girl with blonde hair, and aqua eyes gave me a cute smile, but was a bit more flirty than I had imagined.
"My name's Paladin, and it's actually a great pleasure to meet a cutie like you," she said.
The third girl with lavender hair and gray eyes slowly stepped up to me, and I suddenly knew that she looked cute no matter what she wore.
"I'm Mage, it's good to see you," she said.
The fourth girl with sandy blonde hair and russet eyes approached me, and carefully looked me over.
"I am Dark Elf, my friend, and sincerely hope that you have great potential to partake in joining us on our adventures," she said.
Then came a fifth girl who had green hair and black eyes, with a bow on her back.
"Howdy there, my name's Hunter, hope to see you out in the wilderness," she said, with a country accent.
Then the sixth girl who also had blonde hair, but her eyes were gray like Mage's, but she too had a beautiful smile like Fighters.
"My name is Valkyrie, I hope you can fight in the grace of the gods," she said.
A seventh girl came forth, with silver hair and blue eyes, but she was also cute like Mage.
"I'm known as Cleric, it's nice to meet you," she said.
Finally, the eighth girl appeared. She had pink hair and violet eyes.
"I am Kunoichi," she said.
The dream soon ended, but I still slept peacefully in my bed. By morning, I was already on my way to the game store so that I could get some new games that would pique my curiosity. I wasn't sure what was gonna happen next, until I was suddenly caught off guard by a dangerous villain who viewed people with mental disabilities as diseased due to some unmitigated fear of them, even going so far as to say that the Americans with Disabilities Act. or A.D.A. should never have been created, and that all children should only be seen, and not heard. I decided not to get involved in it, even after the local police force arrived to have him locked up in the asylum for the crime of instigating a disturbance and disrupting the peace, but sadly he completely lost control and shot me down in cold blood. After that, well… let's just say he was condemned for murder and publicly sentenced to death for causing a lot of disturbances, as well as unaccountable murder. At first I thought it was all over for me, but in time, I felt myself being transported out of that world and into a different world that made me think I had been transported into a world that was like a combination of Final Fantasy 14, The Elder Scrolls franchise, and all manner of video games set in a medieval world, and ended up near a forest where a group of four girls clad in Bikini armor sat around a campfire sharing a meal. I now knew that they were the girls from my dream, but at the same time I was a complete stranger to them, so I thought it best to approach them cautiously. Slowly but surely, I slowly walked up to the four girls, until my shoe suddenly caused a twig to snap, making the magenta haired girl, Fighter, turned her head towards me. Now, at first, she thought I was some kind of bandit, but one look at my clothes made her realize that I was from another land with clothes like this.
"Oh, hello there," she said in a voice that sounded cute.
"Hi," I replied, slowly taking a seat next to the blonde girl called Paladin.
Now, despite being a woman who had many desires, Paladin often had a tendency to flirt with any man she met, but at the same time, her friends had to make sure she was on the right track. But, the minute our eyes met, her face suddenly turned beet red, as she began to imagine what it'd be like to have children with me, but decided against it.
"Anyway, what are you lovely ladies doing here?" I asked.
The third girl called Mage, gave off a giggle that made me realize she was rather adorable.
"Oh, we were tasked with dealing with a group of bandits that have caused a village trouble, but sadly we haven't been able to find a way to stop them from causing trouble again," she said to me.
"Indeed, their hearts are filled with great darkness, and the worst thing they'd do is capture us and have us do their bidding, should we fail," added Dark Elf.
I realized that while Dark Elf may be overzealous and overconfident in her abilities, I had to be respectful to her since I had no other alternative of asking her for a strategy, until Paladin suddenly inched her face towards me.
"So, I just want to say that, you're actually pretty cute, when I look at you," she said in a flirtatious tone.
"Well, my mom did say I was actually pretty cute when I was just a baby," I replied, maintaining a calm demeanor.
"Aw, I can almost imagine you as an adorable baby. Who knows, maybe we might know a little bit more about each other," giggled Paladin.
"Uh, Paladin, we haven't gotten a chance to learn his name yet," interjected Fighter.
Paladin slapped herself a few times, and backed off a bit.
"I'm sorry about her, she often has a tendency to flirt with anyone she meets," Fighter told me.
"Hey, don't worry about it. But, I will admit, she is pretty," I replied.
Paladin was rather surprised, but she inched closer to me and gently wrapped my arm around her, so that my hand was resting on her shoulder.
"Well, thank you," she said happily.
"Anyway, I'm Fighter. She's Paladin, this is Mage, and that's Dark Elf," continued Fighter.
"I'm Reuben, Reuben McGrath. Nice to meet you all," I said to the other three girls.
"Wow, that's a good name," smiled Mage, who saw my bright green eyes.
"Yes indeed, a rather interesting name for a man of your caliber," added Dark Elf, who nodded in agreement.
"By the way, If you guys want someone to help with those bandits, I'm more than happy to help. But first, I need something to be better prepared for them," I said to the four girls.
"Oh, right. I forgot that you're wearing such outlandish clothes," admitted Fighter.
"Yeah, we'll find you some clothes that suit you better," agreed Paladin, who was still being flirty.
I nodded in agreement, and went into the town with the Bikini Warriors. Once we arrived, they showed me to an Armor shop so that I could try on various armors that were more for me, but at the same time I found something that actually looked rather interesting. I could see a set of armor that was made up entirely of leather, but was different from what the girls wanted. Eventually they decided to pay for the armor, and said that it was for me to wear. The shopkeeper agreed, then recommended that I get myself some weapons so that I can better defend myself on the field of battle. Eventually I was set on a sword that seemed to suit me quite well. It's design was quite ornate, a shimmering silver blade with a leather handle, a silver cross guard, and a bright red ruby in the center of the cross guard. It was a very beautiful sword, so much so that Paladin told me to buy this weapon, despite the fact that I had to use two hands two wield it, But I'd adapt to using just one hand, seeing as I've worked out at the gym multiple times in my hometown, but this time was different. After that, I soon dawned my new gear, and attached the sword to my back, thanks to a new yet powerful ability, that felt more like magnetism. Then, we set off towards the bandit camp, where we saw the nasty group of individuals all having wicked grins on their faces when they saw Paladin, Fighter, Mage, and Dark Elf.
"Well, look what we've got here boys, a bunch of cuties just waiting for us to make them do what we want them to do," said the bandit's leader.
"Sorry guys, but these girls are under my protection, and you shall become your demise," I retorted, after drawing my sword from behind my back.
"You tell 'em, Reuben!" cheered Paladin, who jumped for joy.
Mage and Fighter nodded in agreement, but Dark Elf had her doubts about me, until the bandits charged towards us. Without a second thought, I surged towards them all, and struck them all down, without so much as a scratch on me, save for a few droplets of blood staining my blade. Picking up a cloth, I immediately dipped it into some water in a bucket, and began to clean the blood off my sword, before holstering it. Then Dark Elf smiled at me.
"You fought bravely, Reuben, albeit a bit messily in the camp," she said.
"Yeah, well, at least these guys won't cause the people any trouble," I replied.
But the two of us shook hands as a sign of respect for one another, making the other three Bikini Warriors smile at us. After that, I took the gold that the bandits had hoarded and placed into a pouch, so that I could save it for later use. But I knew that there would be even more dangerous bandits with a pension for trying to hurt these girls, or worse ravage them in their sleep. Eventually we told the mayor of the town that the bandits had been dealt with, and he praised us all for our perseverance making us happy. Then later that night, we decided to spend some time at an inn after paying the owner who was with his daughter, then decided to check into our room for the night, but Paladin had decided to sleep with me in the same bed, so I had to accept her choice. After removing armor, she gently lay down next to me, as I pulled the covers over us, and slept peacefully in her warm embrace. But then Fighter wanted to sleep with me as well, along with Mage, and a reluctant Dark Elf in the same bed. From that night onward, we all slept together, as we all prepared ourselves for our next big adventure.
