Chapter 1: King's Hell Close but Far

On the date December 24, 2029 on Christmas Day in Japan as snow was seen falling on the ground. A time of giving and happiness for one to another, but it was not as a biological hazard known as the Apocalypse Virus plunges the city into an impact event that broke the county of Japan. Losing Hope that the people needed, but for evermore losing to contain the threat.

Japan sought international help from the United Nations. The United Nations dispatches an organization known as the GHQ to their aid. The GHQ successfully contains the outbreak but at what cost of their way of life, their own and their independence all of above. The event is called Lost Christmas, an incident of chaos and loss.

Beginning, the Apocalypse of Japan. A boy barely 7 years old named Shu Ouma, a boy with black hair with a red streak forming from the crown with dark ruby eyes at look as you are looking at the Devil himself. a red shirt and dark blue jeans with black shoes as he wore. The boy was smarter than most his age as his father taught himself before dying during the Apocalypse Virus and with the books and studies from his father's library the boy learned all or most what he could. His personality was cold to all after his father and older sister died during the event, people is something he didn't want to and didn't care to interact with people because of the way people treat him and his looks at him except his older sister, Mana Ouma at he love and only ex-friend, Gai Tsutsugami at he treat him with respect in the past. His older sister, Mana Ouma, was a kind, sweet girl, gentle and loving sister to Shu Ouma and they were always together. Mana Ouma has long, whitish pink hair that has a white flower pin on the left side with bangs parted in the middle while the front strands of her hair are tied, her eyes are just as red as her younger brother and only wanting to be with her brother because how he was treated. She wore a white uniform and a pink winter coat. In the household of the Ouma, the was two stories high with white and greyish paint and it looked very advanced, nice and warm it was to be. Looks can be deserving... Inside the home too early in the morning when snow was barely falling. Shu woke to the sound of his sister calling for him,

Shu looked at his alarm clock to see it was 5:30 A.M in the morning, 'why is Sis calling me this early in the morning' he thought. Getting up, walking to the closet to get a shirt and shorts, but notices the calendar as it was Saturday, Christmas day. After getting dressed and walking out of his room and past his father's room and taking a look inside, he was not there. "Father is not home, looks like he is working again" Shu said with a monotone sound then he heard movement downstairs, guessing that it was his loving sister. Walking again, 'What could my sister want? It can't be the gifts? What is it then to be awake at this time in the morning?' Shu was thinking as he was now in the living room. "Mana, Where are you?" Shu said

"Over here" Mana replied sweetly. Turning around Shu note at Mana was behind him somehow, he did not question it though but did see that something was wrong with his sister. Her eyes were glowing a bit and thought he saw crystals in her hair but it was too dark to tell with the only light was the moon outside at shine on the bottom half of her face.

"What is it, Mana-chan, something wrong?" with a confused look on his face "Shu-kun... You know that I love you, right?" said Mana looking very innocent with her arms behind her back, her smile though was telling a different story, Shu didn't think much about it "Y..." he didn't get to finish because Mana cut off "I mean I love you, love you Shu like a lover or more" walking a little closer to him as she did he took another look at her as the moonlight shining on her fully at he was confuse even more but in all scare to what is happening to his only sister. There were crystals on her arms, her hair and back for some reason, her eyes glow more brightly after she says that "she loves him" taking a step forward not letting her appearances frighten him. "Mana-Chan?! What is happening to you? Shu said, carefully looking if she is bleeding or in pain but saw not. Mana gerding Shu's right hand and arm pulling him now they were face to face, out of nowhere Mana kissed him on the lips "Ma-n-a-cha n" Shu tried to say to her and pushing her away and moving a back he noticed something more wrong but this time it was on him. Where Mana touched on the arm and hand saw blood red crystal scales like a dragon forming acting as a second pair of skin going to his finger to shoulder before stopping going anymore. Shu tried to break it off but it didn't work before trying again.

"You don't like my gifts to you Shu-kun" says Mana with a sadistic smile on her face "Gift? How can this be a gift?! Shu said shooting a shock face to his sister "Yes, A gift of how much I love you Shu" as she said looking him with lust in her red glowing eyes as Shu look at her then his right arm

"Mana-chan...?" confuses him as even more but the more he has to think that this wasn't his loving older sister, her face, her body, and her eyes same but she was acting different, she has crystals on her body, glowing eyes before he could form an idea. "I want to marry you and I want you as mine Shu" Mana raises her hand to touch his right arm again "No" she stops to look at with a sad face what he said "You have turned me into a monster!" showing his red dragon arm to her, being a foot from each other Shu looked at her and pushed her away "You are a Monster, You are not my Sister."

The world stops and the words her Shu said echo thu her mind. 'NO, This can't be happening Shu loves me' the more she thought the more angry she was and her power inside was becoming less stable and less. Shu looking at her saw that the crystals were growing not out of control and were on going to the walls and floors, Shu stepped away. Mana broke from her thoughts and saw he was backing away from her, stepping forward "Back away monster" Shu said losing all control she has, she ended up destroying herself with her uncontrollable power with Shu getting hit and knocking him out on the floor with crystals all around him. When she destroyed herself, she released the crystals all over Japan where people got infected with the virus. Lost Christmas was the violent riot that arose from the Apocalypse Virus, which made matters even worse. An outbreak of the Virus appeared in Roppongi, Tokyo leading to a chaotic turmoil in the country.
