The German War Machine's growth was unstoppable, the British attempts to appease Hitler have failed, Austria and Czechoslovakia was now in Germany's hands, with the Germans ever more likely to start war every single day, it was chaos
The Soviets were also looking like invading countries around its borders
The French were under the false hope of the Maginot line protecting them, but the Germans were making plans to go around their line
The League of Nations had failed to maintain peace, now the consequences are showing themselves
Then, something delayed the inevitable...
The GATE had appeared and kept German agression away from Europe, maintaining peace for the meantime...
It was Hitler's 50th Birthday, troops were marching past Hitler with various marching music as he raised his right arm, Honestly, the salute was tiring for him, but he held it for the troops
30 minutes after Defiliermarsch started playing, a boom came from the city center of Berlin
A dragon appeared and ancient troops were attacking the city
The Fuhrer was quickly evacuated to safety, while the troops in the parade ran towards the threat, Panzers in the parade rushed to secure the line
History was changed in a blink of an eye, this "GATE" had appeared in the center of Nazi Germany, the tolitarian regime that conquered Europe in a few years, what the hell was Hardy thinking?
The empire had made the biggest mistake of their history, Nazi Germany had millions in its ranks, while the empire would go bankrupt at that amount of troops
The swastika would be the continent's demise, magic could slow it down, but the Germans can simply destroy it
Troops and vehicles fired on the imperials, only a few civilians have been murdered, which were only numbers, nobody has been kidnapped, imperial air assets were downed by flaks easily, and as more imperial troops rushed through the gate, they were only cut down by lead as the gate was surrounded by the german troops and equipment
The imperials finally stated to turn back after rocket artillery started firing on the gate, killing the imperials in in it, they fled as fast as possible, only a few lived to tell the tale...
After the final imperials ran, the area was quiet... Germany had annihilated the imperials who tried to subjugate them, injured imperials were arrested and imperials who still were alive but were untreatable, were shot to death
2 hours after the battle ended, troops raised the swastika flag on the gate, marking their dominance on it
Hitler arrived in time just to see the flag get raised, he was talking with multiple officers
He went back to his car and the driver drove him off
The expedition was a disaster, they were utterly annihilated after they entered the new world, leadership was angry, they didn't bring any slaves back, they only killed a few and troops rushed to their positions and annihilated them
They sent scouts through the gate and they never returned
Propaganda was calming the people, for now...
A day after the invasion, 100,000 men strong were being trained for another invasion, they thought the barbarians wouldn't go through, even if they did, they would be destroyed, but that was wrong
Troops defending the GATE were listening to a broadcast
"THIS ARMY, INTENDED TO SUBJUGATE US, BUT NEIN, WE WILL SUBJUGATE THEM! I DECLARE A STATE OF WAR BETWEEN THE THIRD REICH AND THE EMPIRE!"
Troops cheered at the announcement, Germany was officially at war with the empire
Rommel watched as vehicles and troops were heading to the staging area
Troops saluted the general as they went past him
It would take a few months to prepare the invasion, but the advantages were worth it
Rommel wanted a decisive strike, so he planned Case Falmart with other generals, it included a quick armored and troop strike on Alnus and secure the hill, then months later, start a breakout, the rest is for later
He watched as more troops arrived, and then he saw 2 imperials in horses go through the gate
German troops fired on the 2, and they both were killed, their bodies were dragged away
They were confirmed to be scouts, as retaliation, rocket artillery was sent through the gate, heavily guarded, they stopped and fired at the edge of the tunnel, leaving most of the defenses on the hill in ruins and the defenses at the bottom heavily damaged, the artillery returned after a 5 hour barrage, with no injuries
The next day, 100 imperials attacked the preparing troops, and failed miserably as defenses pointed at the tunnel instantly lit up and destroyed them, there were 5 injured, but not severe, as retaliation, they sent artillery and rocket artillery through the gate with medium tanks and infantry, the Alnus defenses were obliterated in 3 hours, the troops soon withdrew through the gate
