hey yourmagestyruler8 here , sorry to those who are still reading my steven universe story i dont know how to continue it and im sorry but this one has been in my head for a couple months so here we go
5 years , she's been gone 5 years , of searching , looking and hoping they find her , but no-one could find Claudia , Pete and Myka never gave up looking for their sister Artie keeps looking between mission and artifacts , leena still looks for any sign of her but steve just gave up after 2 years
Pete asked him how he was once Steve answered " im fine "
"For someone who can tell when others lie you are a terrible liar "
"what do you want me to say Pete ? my soul feels like it was ripped from my body ? my sou-bestfriend is missing "
flashback
it was dark , really dark Claudia noted as she stumbled through the B&B at 3 am , she just had to leave , to get out of there she couldn't deal how the others would react , her and Steve had slept together , a very drunken night 3 weeks ago , and now she just had to leave before he finds out leaving a note on the table for everyone to find , with a quick trip to the Warehouse she disappeared in the middle of the night
Pete was the one to find the note on the table curious as to who left it he opened the note that read to my family

I'm sorry i have to leave now i can't stay any longer , to Pete , my brother the one who protected me from the bad things don't stop being yourself , keep teasing Myka , To Myka my elder sister the one who read to me on bad days and sang with me on the good ones , be nice to Pete he just try's to make you laugh , to Leena , my slightly older sister the one who taught me to bake ,gave me advice for things no one else could take care of Artie for me will you ? , to Artie , my father figure , thank you for chasing away the demons for scolding me when i did wrong be nice to Pete, Myke and Steve
To Steve , im sorry i have to leave i couldn't let you know i have a secret that has to stay hidden and i wasn't sure how you would react to the news so here i am at 3 in the morning i love you

Pete couldn't believe it he dropped the note ran upstairs to the residents hacker and saw the room , empty , he ran to get Myka waking her up he told her about the note , thinking it was a prank the two cooked up she got up and went to Claudia's room to find it empty
she went down the stairs and saw the note, picked it up and read it , she had tears in her Eyes when she finished
she looked over at Pete and saw Steve over his shoulder looking confused "Where's Claud ? she's not in her room and I'm the only one who wakes her up "
Pete looked at Steve with hurt in his eyes
"She's gone "he said
"What ? no, she can't be gone i saw her last night "
"I Think we should call Artie" Myka said
a Farnsworth call and 10 minutes later
"Why did you call me here ? and where is Claudia?" Artie asked he was up late and didn't expect to be up at 7:30 in the morning
" i woke up this morning and there was a note on the table " Pete said with tears brimming his eyes
"Ok and what does the note say ?" Artie said Myka handed the note to him (By now everyone had read the note except Artie , Leena was crying , Pete had Myka under his arm and Steve was leaning against the Door frame
While Artie read the note he kept looking up at the others and muttering under his breath a soft "No no no , why would she-"
Pete was the one who spoke up "she's only been gone for 4 hours , do you think we could find her ? "
"No , if she left then she would have covered her tracks , we'll have to keep looking for her but we have missions first "
"WHAT ? " Steve shouted across the room tears in his eyes" what do you mean we have missions first , our friend is gone ,she left we HAVE to find her "
Artie looked at him with knowing on his face " Look Steve i know how much she meant to you but we have Artifacts to find , Trust me i want to find her just as much as you but we have jobs to do "
That was 5 years ago , no matter how hard they tried they still couldn't find her
