When I realized that HavocHound isn't doing any resurrection in his fanfics, I decided to make my own sequel. I'm not sure if this is safe, but I'll give it a shot anyways. On a side note, most of the (major) OCs in this branch will therefore belong to him as well. Most of this fanfic is intended to be a comedy with realistic violence and a swear filter, but there will be some Drama in it as well. If you consider Zuma's Courage canon, then this one is not (unless you consider everything canon like Henry Stickmin (and me, too)).

Disclaimer: Stone, Greg, Shaw, Marsha, and Ryan belong to Havochound, not me. I have no idea what Stone is doing in a comedy, but trust me, it isn't good. Shelly is an oddball because while she was Havochound's, I created an expy named Columbia, and they will be the same character. You're gonna have to call her that for the rest of the fanfic.

Warning: the original contains a lot of violence and swearing, so be careful. Warranty Void if you accuse me of something or try to debunk me.

Despite the traumatic loss of Zuma, Chase watched the glorious sunset, with Rubble at his side. The english bulldog got bored of the sad tone from the vast void of the stars above. They could both see the International Space Station rise from the west, then fade into the void as the Space Shuttle that was attached undocked, deorbited itself, and prepared for reentry & landing. One thing was certain, though: no one was happy about the loss of the beloved chocolate everyone loved. Even Humdinger was upset, but that didn't stop the PAW Patrol from finding their loved ones that were driven away by the sheer force of Terror.

"Hey, guys!" Everest arrived, but was ignorant of the sadness affecting the entire world, " You don't look fine..."

After repeatedly overthinking the tragedy that occurred, Rubble was about to break into tears. No one could remove the trauma that caused the near-breakup of the PAW Patrol (without a memory eraser, that is), but this didn't deter Chase from thinking of a solution, but every time he tried, he overcomplicates things and ends up returning to the drawing board.

"So, we might need Tracker to find him, and Skye to search for any anomalies that- Wait, this is too complex, I need a better idea."

Marshall was still upset from his kidnapping, but he has gone over that now- mostly. Who was upset the most was Rocky. He was still concerned, although a little overconcerned that is. No one knows why, but his concern has been slowly climbing to the point that he can't take it anymore.

"One question, is anything wrong?" Everest was also concerned, but it was not about Zuma, but it was about the remaining pups, too. "Are you okay?"

Upon being asked by his crush, Marshall finally broke out in tears, but didn't explain why, "No, not okay."

"Why?" She was batantly confused, but when she noticed that Zuma was missing, she got the grasp of what was happening here. She realized that this is drawing a traumatic memory from her past, but she doesn't know what exactly it was, since Stone has faded away from her mind, at least her conscious mind. No one knows for sure, but it was clearly mild by her standards. No one knows whether it was because of a monolith, cash, or just plain old torture, but she doesn't want to deal with it again, especially since her older sister Gasket could've cared less, despite her high tolerance to torture. Rumors claim that she's so tough that it's near-impossible to even pierce her skin in the first place, even with a sharper-than-sharp knife.

Tracker just arrived, and he, along with Carlos, felt just as upset as Marshall. They have clearly known about Zuma's disappearance, and showed just as much concern as Everest. He just sat there, not bothering to talk with any of the pups until Rubble walked up to them and gave them comfort in a time of Darkness.

With a dim crescent moon in the sky, the rest of the pups went to their puphouses. Everest saw this as the perfect time to talk to rocky, who has completely shut down over the last few hours.

"Hey, Rocky..." She asked calmly to the grey mix. He didn't respond- at all.

She went close to him, and felt him curl around her. She could feel him having nightmares relating to his little brother. No one knows where he is now, but there have been rumored sightings of dead people and pups walking around as if they're real. No one knows if they're true, but she felt Rocky move around in his sleep. The mix opened his eyes, and gasped at the sight of the husky.

"Ah! Almost lost my cool there." He was a little shocked, then calmed down a little, "What are you doing here?" he asked the indigo husky.

"What's wrong, Rocky?" she asked the mix, who shed a tear before he started explaining in a jittery tone.

"It-It's about my b-b- brother, R-Ryan. I-I have a feeling that he might be h-haunting my-my mind. I have no idea what to do if his g-g- ghost turns up here, because I've been hearing s-s- sightings of dead people wandering in the night." Rocky paused, scared, but didn't resume. Everest was dumbfounded by this.

"I have no idea what this is. Dead people never come back alive," she spat out, confused with what he said. "I have to get Ryder up to solve this."

After several attempts to wake up a sleeping Ryder, he finally bulged and Everest explained what was wrong with Rocky. Ryder looked at the reports, re-reading them multiple times, but pushing them off as nonsense in the end.

"Green monolith found at Tiki Snack Shack?" he read some seemingly silly headlines, "Why would this make the news if other monoliths keep popping up all over the place?"

He initially laughed at that, so he turned on the news to find some confirmation. Most of the channels were about Damian Stone's escape. Others chose to focus on the disappearance of Zuma, and one of them completely ignored the chaos and instead broadcasted a Starship test flight. Finding that boring, he switched to channel 7 and found what could be what he's looking for: The Monolith.

"Welcome to Channel 7, where we discuss anomalies around the planet. You may have heard of this before, but when dismantling the Tiki Snack Shack, a green monolith was found. No one knows where it came from, or why it's here, but apparently, it has been rumored to do with the now-dead owners of the former restaurant. The Kerbal Space Program community has become obsessed with it and are willing to send it to NASA at all costs, despite what officials say."

Ryder was shocked at the news report of the green monolith. He has never seen such an anomaly being associated with the death of anyone. He has seen weirder, but never such a coincidence.

"Is this what you've been looking for?" he asked about what Everest thought about the news report.

"I-I'm not sure. If this is related to Rocky's nightmares, then I'm not sure what to do." Everest was relieved with the news, but got confused when she thought about it.

"To be honest, I highly doubt it has anything to do with that, either," Ryder jumped to conclusions, but wasn't sure if the monolith had something to do with it, either. He brushed it off, "I'd hate for this to turn into another Gravity Falls", he complained, then went back to sleep.

Everest was dumbfounded by this... Again. She walked up to her crush, who appears to be sound-asleep... until you bother him, that is.

"Hey, Marshall, I was gonna ask you about-" She tried to explain, but was interrupted.

"If it's not about Stone, then yes," he confirmed, but then Everest's question was exactly that.

"Do you think he's after the Tiki Snack Shack monolith?" she asked, but was greeted by something she didn't expect.

"What monolith- Wait, the Tiki Snack Shack one?" he yelled, "I thought they dismantled that years ago!" he paused, then resumed with a bit of paranoia, "AND YOU SAY STONE IS AFTER THAT!" he was extremely upset, then resumed with his sentence, "Oh, that son of a b****!" he yelled in the same tone as Yosemite Sam from Looney Tunes would do if he found out.

After several hours of gloom, Tracker finally decided to wake up and walk around. No one was up at the time, (besides Everest, of course). He walked around, trying not to disturb anyone, until he bumped into Chase on the way in.

"Ow-ow ouch! Sorry I bumped into you," he said with his arm hurt, unaware of his surroundings until the lights turned on.

He didn't expect it to be Chase until he got up and his vision cleared up. He then heard Rocky screaming in his sleep, and saw Everest next to him. Everyone knew that Marshall was her boyfriend, but she has never been seen with Rocky before. They decided to go inside the lookout, and once they were there, they turned on the TV and Everest switched the channel to Channel 7. What Chase and Tracker heard... was completely unexpected to them. They thought they'd report Zuma being missing, but what they actually saw: the Monolith.

"Greetings, guys. Welcome to Channel 7, where we discuss Anomalies across the planet. While dismantling the Tiki Snack Shack, a green Monolith was found in the wreckage. While we are currently studying it, most reports claim that it was just a piece of old furniture, and was just cosmetic, but Scientific studies say that it's rooted with the now-dead owners of the place, Greg and Marsha, and their dogs, Zuma and Shelly. More Kerbal Space Program players have rejected that and say that it contains some blueprints for undiscovered technology. Officials say that the KSP community's claim is false and it may end up exploding if it's removed from its place, but they highly doubt that and say that it's likelier to be more of a trap that activates when someone gets close, but others reject that claim, saying it's a spy from extraterrestrial aliens. There are no verifiable answers to that, so it's still unknown where it came from, and why it's here, but scientists from all over the world came there and are currently studying it, digging for answers. Damian Stone is also on the loose, and claims have been made that he is after the monolith, too, along with various other supervillains like Lex Luthor, The Joker, The Riddler, Mr Freeze, Ganondorf, Sauron, Slade, Lord Voldemort, and Bizarro. Channel 7 out."

So you're saying that was the source of Rocky's nightmares?" Tracker asked Everest for confirmation, but Chase just stared in disbelief.

"Really?" Chase rolled his eyes and decided it was false, despite being incredibly obvious that it's true.

"It's true, Chase!" Tracker tried to confirm its truthfulness, but Everest cut him off.

"Tracker is right. Just because these are silly doesn't mean that they're automatically false."

"You know what, you're right. I would always try to protect my friends, even if it means believing something silly like that monolith." Chase was proud to stand up for his friends, but because it was still night, they had to get some sleep.

Meanwhile...

"Now that Zuma's outta the way, we need to get the monolith at the-"

"Uh, sir! Exactly how are we gonna use the green monolith at the Tiki Snack Shack? Why can't you make robots for this?"

Stone was about to announce what he was attempting, but he was interrupted by one of his gang members, then noticed a camera next to him, looking dead-on in his face. "Also, every single attempt at robotics backfired- HEY! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO EAVESDROP ON US!" He then took out his pocket knife, and slashed the camera so much that it caused your hypothetical screen to fade into TV static as they continued on with their plan.

Did you like this chapter? If yes, then be sure to follow, fav, and leave a review. If not, ask what you thought went wrong. About Stone slicing the camera, it was supposed to be funny, and I don't want to spoil his plan. I might end up replacing him if things don't work out with HavocHound. I also decided to censor any (bad) swear words despite you saying that it doesn't make sense. If you want more comedy, maybe you should watch Battle for Dream Island if you want to.
