I just finished getting dressed and was about to head out on the stage when I hear a voice.

"Hey Suzie!"

At the sound of my name I turn to see handsome Looper and my somewhat steady client Joe.

He takes my right forearm gently making me stop.

I give him a warm smile.

He asks voice thick with desire "You working later on?"

I place my right hand on his chest and slide out of his grip.

My hand still on his chest I give him another warm smile and say "Gat-Man bought me out for the night Joey."

I see his sullen face and am a bit sad for him.

I softly pat his chest twice and say "Baby I gotta work hope you'll stay and watch, you know I love it when you watch."

Joe's face hardens and he replies cooly " I gotta head out my boss has a job for me. Sides, I bet you say that to all of us, Doll."

His insult doesn't bother me. I've heard way worse.

I pat his chest again and purr "Nah honey only the ones I like."

I bend down and touch my toes making sure to show him I have on a pair of panties that are completely see through.

I rise slowly, turn back around and ask "Ya still wanna leave?"

Joe smiles faintly and says

"Get on up there girl I"ll be in the front row."

I grin and reply "That's my boy."

I sashay toward the stage

I open my compact clock.

"Just give him four hours this should cover it thanks again Suze." Abe Joe's boss tosses me four blocks of silver; it'll be enough to keep me and my sweet kid out of the poorhouse for a long stretch.

I look at my compact clock and rewind it so that it set at exactly four hours.

I light a small cigarette and drag on it for a few minutes until it is nothing but a small stub. I snuff it out crushing it into the ashtray.

I touch up my eye shadow and pull off my bra. Only in my panties I then walk into my VIP room at Belle's. I slide onto my bed. Joe is already here laying on his back. I slip next to him.

I pull out my drops vial and I put four in Joe's eyes already dark and cherry red his pupils the size of a UFO.

Must have gone through his whole stash.

Joe says suddenly " I hardly remember my mom anymore. But there's one thing I do: she used to take her hands and rub it through my hair so I wouldn't be scared."

I place my hands on his scalp and start to gently rub my fingers through his thick black gel controlled mane.

I ask softly "Like this Joey?"

He nods and answers "Yep just like that Doll. I think I just got my best friend killed tonight over silver."

I say sympathetically, "Shit Joey, that's awful."

I start to resume my massage when suddenly he takes my right hand and puts it in his own.

"I'm gonna give you half of my silver so you can get out of that lousy dump and take care of that kid of yours."

I suddenly want to throw him out. I never told him about my kid.

As much as I want to follow through with that impulse I don't.

Abe pays my fee not Joe and I'm way more terrified of Abe than him.

I rub his hair once more and sit up.

I reach for my pale white silk robe that's at the end of the bed I slip it on and slide back down behind him.

I start to weave my fingers through his hair and say "You wanna give me half of your silver, that has too many strings. I got my job, you have yours. It's sweet of you to worry about me but I'm doing okay."

Joe leans into my touch and says "Kay it was only an idea."

I keep the massage going and whisper "Lets just stick to our deal of services rendered Joey. Anything else is too complicated and I hate complicated."

I put two more drops in his eyes.

I continue to massage his hair.

He sighs and says "Thanks for giving me your ear Suze I can always count on you."

I slide my panties off stop my massage suddenly and begin to straddle his hips. He sits up to give me better access to his belt.

I shrug off my robe and whisper "Sure thing Joey but I know that my listenin' isn't the only thing you came here for." I begin to undo his belt buckle and soon I have both his pants and underwear off.

Piqued he whispers "You got me all figured out don't you, Doll?"

I lower myself onto him and breathe out sultrily "You bet I do Joey."

We are soon too preoccupied with our mutual lust to speak any more than that.

After we've both satisfied I slide back on my robe, flounce off the bed and sit down at my vanity.

I open my compact clock and see it's been four and half hours.

I tie the sash of my robe tighter around my waist and turn to Joe who's pulling on his clothes.

Once he's fully clothed I say to him "Our business is done for now hon catch ya later."

He nods stoups down gives me a soft kiss on the crown of my head and says coolly "Like I said earlier thanks for listenin',see ya around Suze."

I walk him out to the lobby of Belles. Once Joe's out of earshot I turn toward Violet the receptionist and ask "Vi did you tell Joe about my kid?"

Vi who is using a manicure file replies not even looking up "No course not Suze you know me better than that."

I say coldly "If he or Abe come here for me again tell them I'm indisposed."

Vi asks "You sure Suzie?

Abe pays in high silver sure you wanna give up all that?"

I nod and reply "Yeah it's gettin too personal for him. I need a clean break. I'll find another arrangement I always do."

Vi answers "Alright I'll put the word out. You should head on home now sweetie and see that darling baby of yours."

I sigh and say "I'm practically out the door just have to go upstairs and change see ya around Vi."

She nods and says "Catch ya later Suze."

I give her a small smile and say "Sure thing Vi."

I head up to my room, lock the door behind me and do my hardest to forget Joe.

He'll find another girl I'm not putting my kid in harm's way for anyone especially a Looper.

Gat-Men pay just as good as Abe.
