Erwin had come in with a plan, and lost it two minutes in. He wasn't supposed to end like this: face down on Levi's bed, totally overwhelmed and heavily sobbing his eyes out into the pillow. He missed Levi.
He missed his friends Mike, Nanaba, Gelger... He had never been in this much emotional pain. Never this conscious of it anyway. And he freaking hated it. Behind him, the bedroom door opened to reveal Hanji. But wait... when had she gotten so tall? Tall enough that as she approached she seemed to swallow his line of sight.
WAIT A MINUTE-
She stooped down and scooped the child up. "Shh, it's okay Winnie."
Then Erwin looked down and saw that his bed was HUGE! AND INCREDIBLE AND WOW THESE EMOTIONS WEREN"T NORMAL. He squirmed and kicked until Hanji set him down. He paused to stare up, up, up, her long legs. Hanji was a giant! He raced over to the door. With immense struggling he managed to hook his fingers on the handle and throw the door open. He burst into the hall screaming in terror of the heavy footsteps behind him.
"Erwin! Slow down you'll get-"
WHAM.
"Hurt..." Hanji dejectedly finished. His unfortunate stature meant his face was at perfect knee height. He collided face first into someone's leg, his nose bursting with blood. He looked up, up, up at furious storm grey eyes.
