A/n: Hey guys! Welcome! I hope you all enjoy my fanfiction and please feel free to leave requests or advice on how I can improve my writing! In this Au, ghosts have an aura around them. This aura shows what the person's personality was like most of the time back when they were alive. The colors are: orange for sassy or bigheaded and self centered, yellow for energetic, red for angry or hotheadedness, green for happy, blue for sad, pink for flirty, and purple for mysterious or dreamlike, maybe even confused for purple as well. Anyways enough with my rambling let's get on with the chapter!
Hanako and Yashiro were sitting together after she had finished her daily bathroom cleaning. Hanako got deep into his thoughts 'cause he was thinking about number 0 of the 7 wonders. "Hey Hanako kun!" Yashiro snapped her fingers in her friend's face. "H-huh? Sorry Yashiro san, I was spacing out." Hanako said and rubbed the back of his neck and sweat dropped. "Is everything ok Hanako kun? You've been spacing out a lot lately…" The worry in Yashiro's voice is evident and she grabs her friend's hand. "Yashiro san?" "Hm?" Yashiro looks expectantly at her friend, anticipating his response. "Have you ever heard of Chie san of the Art Room?" Hanako looks down and twiddles with his fingers. Yashiro looks at him with a confused look on her face. "No I've never heard of her. What's her rumor?" Hanako looks up at her and is about to explain Chie's rumor to Yashiro when they hear giggling. The giggling makes Hanako's eyes light up and he looks very excited 'cause he knows exactly who it is. "Hey Hanako kun~!" A small ghost who looks like she died in middle school with an aura that was a yellow to green gradient(ghosts can have multiple colors for their aura, it's quite rare though, that's why I didn't say it in the author's note in the beginning).
"Heya Chibi Chan~!" Chie glares at Hanako playfully and pokes his cheek and he glares playfully back. "Ehem… Hanako is this Chie san of the Art Room?" Yashiro grabs their attention with her question. "Yep! That's me! I was waiting for people to come summon me but no one was coming so I decided to just come and say hi to Hanako kun! I still don't understand his rumor though…" Chie floated over to Yashiro and pulled out her large paint brush and tapped her chin with it. "Hey Hanako kun, is this who you were telling me about when we last talked?" Chie pointed at Yashiro with her paint brush with childish wonder in her eyes (Think of Hinata from Haikyu!! when he gets excited about a spike or talks about the little giant). Hanako chuckles softly and nods his head. "AAAAHHHH!!!!! I JUST REALISED I NEVER INTRODUCED MYSELF!!!!!" Yashiro panicked and started bowing. Chie looked over to Hanako for answers on what to say and he just shrugged. "U-ummm Y-yashiro Senpai it's alright… Hanako kun already told me your name!" Chie attempted to use her paint brush to lift up Yashiro but she wouldn't budge.
~Time skip~
The trio had been hanging out in Chie's boundary while she was making a painting of the three of them. Occasionally Hanako would try to look at the painting but Chie wouldn't let either of them see it until she got done with it. When she got done with the painting a few hours later it was around 10 pm and Yashiro was asleep, Hanako shook her awake and she looked like she was about to cry, but when she saw the painting she was literally bawling her eyes out. "How are you so good?!" Yashiro asked, reaching her arms out towards the painting. Chie blushed slightly. "Thank you but this isn't even me at my best…" Mitsuba (his aura is orange to red) and Kou walk into the room. "It's true Chie has painted things a million times better than this, not saying it's bad though cause it looks great!" Mitsuba says with Kou adding the last part about the painting still being amazing. "Hey Kou kun, Mitsuba kun!" Chie floats over to the boys and hugs them. "Hey Kou kun I'm surprised Teru hasn't tried to get you to exorcise me yet, but I guess it makes sense cause I don't think he would wanna exorcise someone he knew personally." Kou looks at her in amusement. "Chie san, y'know I would never let any exorcist exorcise you, you and Mitsuba both! Y'all are my best friends! He pulls both her and Mitsuba into a big hug. "I still think your traffic earring is lame!" Mitsuba pokes Kou's earring and Chie starts laughing. Hanako and Yashiro start laughing too.
