With the new addition to his desk at the DAs office, Harvey was just knocking cases out of the park. Don't get me wrong, Tina wasn't bad, she did was she was assigned to. But Donna... Donna is something else. Aside the secretary work, she anticipated his needs, she called him on his bullshit, but most of all, she seemed to get him in a way no one else could. The woman was bossy as hell when he needed her to be. She comes into his office every damn time like she owns the place. But she's also kindness and support, clearing up his mind and reminding him of what's important.

At first, he wouldn't fall for her "I'm Donna, and I know everything" bit. But now, after a few months, he thinks "holy shit, that's pretty much it". She keeps him on his toes, and he kinda loves it. And she does that every single day while looking drop dead gorgeous. It's no secret he's attracted to her. That was unapologetically established the night they met. Plus, they're both very attractive people. Usually there are not a lot of things attractive people do together that doesn't include firmly holding onto a headboard and heavy breathing. Both of them know that too well, and that's what keeps them electrically charged all the time. Their flirtatious energy is unmatched and loud, easily noticed by the rest of the office. They seem to don't care, though.

"Mr. Dennis won't be too happy when I tell him you took his 30 year old bottle of scotch to hit on your secretary." Just when they thought they were all alone at the office after a late night study of evidence from a new case, Bertha shows up out of literally nowhere. She does that all the time.

"Okay, Berta... how do you know I'm hitting on her?" Harvey asks just out of curiosity, it's obvious that he is. He's sitting on her desk leaning in and facing her down, as she's on her chair facing him up. They're way too close. He got a smug smile on his face, but he certainly do not take his eyes of Donna. The view is too good for him to lose it for a second.

"Two glasses of scotch... and you. If you kids are gonna bang, make sure you don't do it on my damn cubicle." she says grabbing her purse and heading off the office. Donna breaks the eye contact to burst a little laugh. It's fun for her. He likes being the one who makes her laugh. He wonders if she'll have fun too when they actually go for it. So he digs in a little deeper.

"Admit it... you're afraid you'd fall for me."

"If anyone is falling for anyone, I'd be you for me."

"Sounds like a challenge."

"A challenge you'll never gonna have to take. I don't get involved with men I work with."

"Okay... You know what? You're probably right to disencourage me. You would lose anyway. It would only take one kiss and then it's over for you. This is for the best.

"I am horrified and amazed by your confidence all at once."

Again a late night working session for Donna and Harvey, but a few other people are working on it too, it's a big case. The atmosphere was just over the top stressful. Donna keeps looking at Harvey from her desk once in a while to make sure he's not losing it. He's tired of trying everything in the book and failing, so he walks it off inside of his office. Then, he approaches the cubicles to see if anyone got anything good. He doesn't like to look like he's not getting anywhere, so he plays it cool. He goes through every cubicle to see what they're working on. While going through Jenna's research, the paralegal, he found out she had key evidence that practically wins the case but she slept on it.

"How long do you have this? We just won. They're not gonna know what it em." Jenna doesn't get how that could win the case, but again no one understands how Harvey thinks and that's what makes him so good. He gets a way out every time. He comes back to his office with Jenna's files on his hand. Right before he gets in, he looks at Donna with a "we just won" face she knows so well.

Two hours later, they are still there. Harvey is working on his final statement and Donna is doing some paperwork for him to turn in tomorrow. Some people went home, but the promotion mentioned by Cameron Dennis was right around the corner, so some of them kept working to show their worth. Harvey was in his office, door closed, for about an hour straight. He looks through the glass and Donna is not on her desk. Finally, he finds her making some coffee in the kitchen." He relies his shoulder on the wall, crosses his legs and do what he does best: he looks at her.

"I can see you, you know." she says while pouring her coffee.

"I know you do."

"What can I do for you, Harvey? Did you finish your final statement for tomorrow?" she turns to him with a mug in her hand and finally looks right back. It's all he needs.

"Got it all here." he pokes his forehead. "Right now I would like to revisit our earlier conversation."

"And why would you wanna do that?" she plays with a plastic spoon while stirring her coffee.

As usual, every sentence means less space between them.

"Because it's a matter of time until I win this case, and frankly... we're a matter of time too." he notices she's about to say something so he keeps going. "I know you like being right all the time, it's your thing... but you know you thought about it. So admit I'm the one who's right this time and we can put this thing to bed."

She shifts her head and look away, as if she's trying to figure something out.

"Okay. Let's put this thing to bed." she turns back to the counter, and places her coffee gently on top of the table cloth. She spins and faces him as she walks closer. He doesn't have time to think about any of it. She pulls him closer by the collar of his jacket as she lightly presses him against the wall.

Lips touch and it feels like a blackout. Donna thought she knew what she was getting into, but she didn't. The unexpected feeling of tasting the best she ever had and not wanting to let go. The way their tongues meet keeps her helplessly trapped in the most genuine form of bliss. She leads the way exploring what, in fact, she didn't know. Harvey follows. But Harvey... he was gone. Every inch of him shuts down. The last spark of energy in his body takes his hand and places it on her lower back. Feelings, desires and fantasies coming all once. The overwhelming feeling of having everything he wanted keeps him from reality and makes time stand still. It was always about more. More than physical attraction, more than flirtatious jokes. It's done. He's emotionally attached and even for Harvey Specter, there's no way out of this one. And he knows it.

A noise from the copy machine in the background takes them out of the parallel universe they were in. Donna seems to be just out of a transe. She's happy. She got a timid smile under the surface. Mostly because of his face. Harvey looks like he just got hit by a train. His face is a question mark. She let go of his collar and slide her hands down is chest, while both of them are locked in each other's eyes. She takes a deep breath when trying to process what just happened and where her mouth was three seconds ago.

"You're right. I do like being right all the time." She lied. She wasn't. But then again neither was he. Turns out it took just one kiss for him too.
