A lone boy sat on a rock next to a deserted waterfall, 2 birds perched on him, one on his head and left shoulder. An orange cat with black and white spots lay on his lap. A wild deer that came from the forest surrounding the waterfall lied at his feet.
" It's peaceful… " the boy's voice came out like a whisper, soft, yet soothing. It could calm the most fussiest baby to fall asleep with just a word.
Getting peace and quiet was never an option during the raging war between villages.
He got off the rock, surprising the animals for a second, but the animals calmed down when they found out they weren't under attack.
" Thank you for accompanying ( ? ) me. " the boy said, patting the animal's heads. " I must take my leave now. "
The boy's shadow disappeared into the mist of the forest. The boy kept walking forward, with the exception of a few lefts and rights, a cabin was visible.
The reason why the boy lives in this forest is because of what he hosts. The boy hosts an unique creature called the Kyuubi. The Kyuubi holds great power, yet cannot be destroyed. When someone forced the Kyuubi to rampage, it was sealed into the young boy as a child.
He was hated and feared by most. He grew up as a tool for the village. He hated it. He ran away from the village, Konoha, and has stayed inside of this dense forest not much is known of. Konoha was his home, yet he never once felt home there.
As a missing ninja, he hides his presence at all times with sealing tags, as it runs in his blood. Being granted the ability to talk to animals at a tender age of 4 had only proved he was a genius.
Most ninja who enter the forest never come out. He would pity the dead one's families hoping they could stay happy.
The boy's name was Naruto.
He lived in the abandoned forest until a meteor struck, wiping him and the animals out of existence.
/ Naruto's POV \\
I squinted as my eyes looked at the blinding light above me. The sun's rays blinded me, until my eyes adjusted. Birds swarmed around me, chirping. I was lying in the middle of a forest. I walked while getting directions from the birds. I ask the birds about the world, gaining some information. I kept walking until I saw a church, parallel to a demon's skull.
I walked slowly into the village, people were staring. I understand, since I was a foreigner here, people would be cautious.
My yellow hair that stopped at my nape glistened from the reflection of the sun. My tan skin showed out. 3 scars that represented whiskers adorned my face. I was wearing a white turtleneck and black sweatpants. A gem that replicated the First Hokage's necklace hung around my neck.
The last thing I knew was that I was supposed to be dead. But I remember The Kyuubi's, Kurama, message before I died, " As you host me, you should expect the unexpected. ", so then I shall.
