Chapter 1: one hundred Years Later
Once upon a time in the land of Narnia the world was covered in snow and ice for an evil witch had covered the land in an eternal winter. Her name...Was Jadis the white witch of Narnia! However a prophecy emerged that three sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve would come to Narnia and defeat the evil witch and become the rulers of Narnia!
To stop this prophecy from coming to pass the witch ordered that any human child in their world should be brought to her to be killed. A few years later a boy ended up in Narnia, a boy named Quasimodo, a boy with a deformed face but a pure heart and noble spirit. However the strange boy wasn't the only visitor to Narnia.
A little girl named lucy Pevensie and her siblings soon followed however when the youngest Pevensie boy, a boy named Edmund was fooled into betraying his siblings leading to his capture Quasimodo and the Pevensie's work together to reach Aslan the only one who might be able to save Edmund.
In the end the white witch was defeated and Quasimodo and the Pevensies became the rulers of Narnia for years they reined bringing about a golden age of peace in the world. However one day they simply vanished.
When the kings and queens did not return the enemies of Narnia, The Telmarines invaded and took Narnia for themselves and the creatures of Narnia fled to the forests awaiting the day their kings and queens would return.
However a new prophecy emerged that one of the Telmarines, their enemy would summon the kings and queens of old and would lead them into battle against their enemy and eventually he would become their king. And it is on this day a hundred years after the golden age of Narnia that are story begins!
A castle towered in the darkness the fortress was silent however within the walls of the fortress a woman gave birth to a son. "Lord Miraz, You have a son." Said one of the servants holding up the bundle for him to see.
"The Heavens have blessed us." He said grinning. He turned to one of the guards. "You know your orders, General Glozelle." Yes, my Lord. The man said grimly. Meanwhile sound asleep in his chambers lay prince Caspian.
The door instantly opened as an old man rushed in. He rushed to the prince desperately trying to wake him. "Five more minutes." The prince groaned thinking his old teacher had come to wake him for his astronomy lessons.
"I'm afraid you won't be watching the stars tonight, my prince." The dark-haired prince sat up giving the old man a puzzled look. "Come, we must hurry!" Professor, what's going on? The young prince demanded.
Your aunt has giveth birth...to a son. The prince instantly went pale. For some time he knew that if his aunt had given birth to a son his uncle would have him killed so his son could be the heir to the throne.
The prince quickly dressed than followed the old man to his chambers. Come quickly! "You must make for the woods." He said digging through a pile of clutter The woods? The Prince asked shocked. "They won't follow you there."
Suddenly the old man pulled what looked to be an old horn from the bottom of the pile. "It has taken me many years to find this." He said handing it to the prince. "Do not use it except at your greatest need." The prince looked at the horn that at his old mentor. "Will I ever see you again?"
"I dearly hope so, my prince. There is so much more I meant to tell you. Everything you know is about to change." Caspian could hear the guards shouting in the distance. Now go he said quickly opening a secret passage in the room a staircase lay behind it.
Without hesitation the prince fled down the staircase. Meanwhile Miraz's guards burst into the room only to find it empty. Sir I see him he's escaping! Caspian rode towards the woods the sound of the guards followed behind him however the guards cessed their chase as he rode into the woods.
"Which of you superstitious old women wants to spend the night in a cell?" The soldiers looked nervously at their commander before riding after the prince. Meanwhile the prince was riding through the forest when suddenly an arow flew past him causing his horse to rear up. He fell off the horse as it ran past him.
Blindly the prince got to his feet rushing deeper into the forest until he came to an old tree. Suddenly a section of the tree opened and out stepped two dwarfs. "He's seen us." Said the first dwarf. "Take care of him."
The second dwarf pulled out a knife rushing at the prince. In his haste the prince pulled out the old horn and blew into it before anyone could stop him. No! But the deed was already done. The prince collapsed as the magic of the horn echoed across worlds.
The year was 1941 and Susan sat by herself when suddenly lucy appeared somewhat out of breath. "Susan, You'd better come quickly!" Peter and Edmund were fighting with two boys about their own age.
Edmund! Susan shouted surprised by her younger brother. Stop it. Break it up. That's enough. Come on. That's it. Get up. Act your age! Shouted a soldier separating the boys. "You're welcome." Said Susan. I had it sorted. Peter said annoyed.
"What was it this time?" Susan asked giving her younger brother a withered stare. "He bumped me." Edmund retorted. "So you hit him?" Lucy asked shocked. No. "After he bumped me, they tried to make me apologize."
"That's when I hit him." Really?! "Is it that hard just to walk away?" Susan asked incredulously. "I shouldn't have to." I mean, don't you ever get tired of being treated like a kid? "We are kids." Said Peter annoyed.
"Well, I wasn't always." Edmund said annoyed. "It's been a year!" How long does he expect us to wait? "I think it's time to accept that we live here." Said Lucy. 'It's no use pretending any different."
Suddenly Lucy gasped. "Something pinched me!" Stop pulling! Susan shouted I'm not even touching you! Edmund shouted. "Look, would all of you just...Suddenly a wind roared to life around them as the train rushed past the walls began to change
"What is that?" Peter asked in disbelief. "It feels like magic!" Lucy said excitedly. "Everyone hold hands!" Susan shouted. "I'm not holding your hand!" Edmund shouted. Just do it! Peter shouted as a blinding light enveloped them all.
Meanwhile in Paris within the Notre dame cathedral a seventeen-year-old boy lay asleep. Quasimodo woke startled. He could have sworn he had heard a voice calling to him. Was he dreaming? He remembered a year ago when he'd gone to Narnia. It had been a year. Was it finally time to return?! Aslan had said that he would know when it was time to return that he would feel the magic calling to him and right now he could feel it calling.
He remembered his birthday a few weeks ago he remembered the old, abandoned castle he'd found in the woods. The one that reminded him of Car Perevial he had felt there was something special about it and he knew he was right; He could feel it!
He got to his feet changing into warmer clothes. He did not want to worry Esmeralda and Phoebus with this he still hadn't told them about his travels in Narnia he didn't think they'd believe him which is why he needed to do this alone!
He went to the stables where he kept snowball and rode to the old castle. The castle's turrets stood out against the cold full moon. Snowball pawed the ground nervously. "Easy boy, Its alright I'll be back."
He entered the old castle he could feel the pull of the magic growing stronger as he made his way upstairs to his old room. Standing against the far wall was an old wardrobe that hadn't been there before.
He could feel the magic radiating off it. Could this be the same wardrobe his friends the Pevensie's had used? But how? How was it here in his time?! Slowly and carefully he opened the door it was filled with familiar fur coats the same from his first adventure in Narnia.
He saw a light behind the bundle of coats and stepped into the wardrobe leaving the door open slightly as he pushed his way through the coats as he got deeper and deeper into the Wardrobe he lost his balance falling down a steep tunnel.
When he reached the tunnels end he found himself in a dimly lit cave he could hear the sound of waves crashing against the shoreline. He got to his feet almost falling over as he made his way to cave entrance.
He could hear laughter in the distance. The voices sounded...Familiar. Could it be?! He ran out of the cave and headed down the beach stopping feet from the Pevensies his friends stood in the water splashing each other laughing happily as they played in the water.
Hey! Quasimodo shouted to his friends. They stopped what they where doing as they looked up at their old friend. "Miss me?" Quasi! Lucy shouted running to great her old friend. Hey its good to see you again. Said Edmund.
"How'd you get here?" Susan asked in disbelief. "Oh I found an old wardrobe." He said giving her a wink. What how? Lucy asked Shocked. "I don't know he laughed. "I guess it must be magic.
