This is unbelievable; truly unbelievable.

Nicole was speechless.

"Look at you." She pressed a closed fist to her lips to supress her giggle. "Needing me? You know you pushed me away."

This was amazing. After all they'd done to her. Nicole was incredulous.

"Peter got roped into the dark arts Nicole!" James said urgently.

They'd found out that Peter wasn't the little angel they thought he was, as Nicole had been telling them from the jump.

Nicole's eyes turned to stone as she said coldly, "Peter should know better."

"Please Nicole..." Lily gave her a look that used to make Nicole feel guilty. Not anymore though. Nicole had grown a backbone, and it was stronger than steel.

"You're really trying to hide this, aren't you? Your cover up is caving in. Besides, this man is such a fool, why are we saving him?" Nicole scoffed, wrinkling her nose slightly.

Sirius gave her a desperate look, "please Nicky, you have to help him!"

"Begging for my help, wow."

They had ruined her, so now, she was going to let them ruin themselves.

"Look, Nicole." Remus tried rationally. "We know you don't like us anymore, but this is for the greater good."

"Greater good my arse! I told you with would happen. I told you the little rat was untrustworthy, but noooo, 'Peter's on vacation not partying with Voldemort.' Your mistake, not mine." The group around her drew in sharp breaths at her blatant disregard. "My turn to ignore you, don't say I didn't warn you."

James gaped at her like a fish, jaw unhinged, "you're going to leave? Just like that? He was your brother!"

Nicole smiled a big, authentic smile, running her tongue across her top teeth. "So were you, and yes I'm leaving, there's nothing left to say.'

As Nicole turned to leave Sirius spoke up, "you're an evil bitch that's going to hell."

Nicole opened the door to leave, "My lucifer is lonely." She pouted mockingly and blew him a kiss, slamming the door.

It would be there own choices that brought about their downfall, which is why Nicole never leaked to the public Dumbledore had been housing a werewolf at his school. Remus' condition wasn't his fault, but they way in which he chose to deal with it was.
