Chapter One: Escape

Izuku sat in the cold, dark room of the underground facility that Kai had taken him to. The four year old old was scared, scared for what might happen now. He had disobeyed the boss of the Shie Hassaikai, trying to run away. He wasn't one you wanted to get mad at you. In the past month, he had seen what happens when he gets mad once. It was terrifying.

The door to the room opened, letting light permeate through the room, and Izuku saw who was standing there. The man himself, Kai Chisaki, walked into the room. Izuku began to shake in fear, his heart beating rapidly from fear. Kai however, sat down on the ground, leveling his eyes to match his own emerald green ones. "Hey, I just want to talk."

Izuku felt his heartbeat slow slightly, and he asked, "What did you w-want to talk about?"

He smiled under his mask, "Well, there's a reason you were brought here a month ago. You don't have a family. You're quirk, Rewind, has given us quite the idea, one that can help me achieve my goals. We're going to use your quirk to make bullets that erase the quirk factor in others to create a better society."

Izuku was horrified at the idea. He himself was a major fan of heroes, especially the greatest hero ever, All Might, so the idea that he would help destroy hero society sickened him deeply.

The lights turned on in the room as Kai turned around and walked out of the room.

The next ten years of this boy's life would be actual hell.

Izuku opened his eyes, seeing light pour through the room from the slit in between the door and its frame. He stood up, knowing someone who soon come in as soon as he heard the guards outside his door talking to someone else, a voice he didn't recognize. "I've been sent by the boss to talk with the brat," Izuku heard from outside, the voice muffled so he couldn't tell if it was a male or female.

The door opened, the light streaming inside from the lights outside that lined the ceiling, allowing Izuku to see a man that Izuku had seen around once or twice. The man looked as if he hadn't slept in weeks. His long black hair went down to his shoulders covered his nose, letting the man see entirely. He shut the door and turned the lights on, and sat down on the bed, gesturing for Izuku to do the same. The man looked at Izuku's body, cringing slightly at the sight of all the scars along his body, but most were covered by the bandages and rags he wore. He leaned in and whispered, "Kid, I'm not one of these guys. I'm here to get you outta here."

Izuku was surprised, as he hadn't seemed to be a traitor to the Shie Hassaikai when he had been around. In fact, he seemed like the kind of guy who would gladly be a member. Guess it was just part of his big facade.

"The name's Shota Aizawa, but my hero name is Eraserhead."

Izuku nodded, and began to introduce himself, but was interrupted by Aizawa, "I already know your name. You're constantly talked about around here." Aizawa said, "I brought some heroes with me, that just so happen to be your guards next shift. Just wait until then, and we can get you out of here." Aizawa stood up and walked out of the room, the door shutting behind him.

So Izuku did everything he was told for the day without a fight. That was because he had something he hadn't for ten years, since he was brought to this cursed place. Something he thought he would never have again. Hope.

That's why, even when he had the operation on his body from Kai using Overhaul, he felt the urge to smile. Because he knew he would be out of here within the day if all went well. Overhaul had seemed to be suspicious of this, asking him why he seemed so cheerful afterwards. He shrugged, and said, "I just figured I might as well see the best of my situation. Things could be worse." Which was an absolute lie of course, but he wanted to make sure he didn't think something was up.

So now Izuku sat on his bed, anxiously awaiting that fateful moment when Aizawa would walk back into the room and whatever plan he had would begin.

As Izuku sat there, a thought filled him with fear. What if this was all a lie? An elaborate prank on him, or even worse, something to test just how lenient Kai could be with him? If he were to follow this stranger blindly, then he would more than likely be put under more strict measures if that were the case. Izuku didn't want to imagine what might happen if that situation were to happen.

The door opened, and Aizawa stepped in. "Get ready, because this sure isn't going to be easy. We'll no doubt see resistance, but I've brought some backup just in case. They're just outside here in disguise." Izuku stood up and said, "I'm ready."

The pair walked out the door, where two new guards were waiting, a pair of bodies piled on top of one another behind them. Aizawas hair shot into the air, his eyes glowing red. One of the guards, who Izuku knew had a quirk that let him generate electricity and shoot it out of his hands, tried using his quirk on Aizawa, only to find nothing happened. In a swift move, Aizawa took down the two guards, and picked up Izuku. He started running in the direction of the exit as he tapped the earpiece he had been wearing, "They found out, I'm on my way out. Be ready, things might get ugly."

His hair shot down and Aizawa pulled a pair of odd looking goggles out of his pocket and put them on. A group of three Yakuza stopped them in their tracks, but Aizawa activated his quirk again, and their quirks stopped working as had happened before.

Aizawa had to have the most interesting quirk Izuku had ever seen. Even more than his own, in his opinion.

Besides that, the man was skilled, Izuku could tell that much. He had taken down five men without breaking a sweat while holding him! It was actually insane how strong the man was.

They continued running, and now the exit to the underground complex was coming into view.

Suddenly, the wall next to them burst open, revealing Kai Chisaki, who did not look particularly pleased. He looked as if he was ready to murder someone.

"Did you think I was just going to let you run off with a valuable asset like Izuku?" he asked. Aizawa frowned.

"Is that what you view people as? Assets to be exploited? Well, let me tell you one thing. In my years as a hero, I've seen many things, but nothing has made me more pissed than you!" He set Izuku down on the ground, "Sit here. This'll be over soon." He returned his gaze to the boss of the Shie Hassaikai, his hair shooting back into the air for the third time today.

Kai nodded, "You've used your quirk twice before, haven't you? Oh yes, I know what your quirk is. Nearly as helpful as Izuku's, being able to erase someone's quirk. But it's rather unfortunate you got in my way." He pulled an object out from the pocket of his coat that made Izuku's heart stop. A gun, loaded with a quirk erasing bullet.

Izuku shouted, "Wait! Don't!" Kai looked at the boy and he said something that the pro hero didn't want to happen. "I'll - I'll come back quietly. Just let Eraserhead go!"

Kai glared at Aizawa, "Sorry brat, but I'm afraid that word of our little operation can't get out." He aimed the gun at Aizawa, who looked ready to dodge the bullet. Suddenly, the brute of a man, Kendo Rappa, grabbed Aizawa and kept him dangling in the air, despite how much he struggled. Kai smirked under his mask, steadying his aim to rid Aizawa of his quirk, which was still activated.

But, luckily, the other heroes had arrived.

Miruko had expected a lot of things to happen today. However, she hadn't expected an underground hero known as Eraserhead to come up to her and tell her about a man who was torturing a little boy and using the boy's quirk for nefarious purposes, and asked for her help in the matter. She, of course, accepted, feeling only a little sorry for whoever was going to be on the receiving end of her fist.

She had gotten another hero to join in as well, Kamui Woods, who had agreed wholeheartedly once she had told him what situation the boy was in.

So they stood outside, having taken down the few guards outside the building unnoticed, waiting for Aizawa to come out with the kids when they both recieved a message to be ready in case shit hit the fan.

Then they heard the sounds of struggling not to far away and a lot of shouting, some coming from a squeaky, high pitched voice.

That caused the two of them to run down the hallway and saw Eraserhead trapped in the grasp of a brutish man and a gun being pointed at him from a guy who seemed to be in charge. She jumped up into the air and came down on the guy who wore a coat with her fists, sending him sprawling on the floor. Huh. That was easy.

Now there was just that big guy, who seemed like he would be more of a challenge. The man dropped Eraserhead, which was his first mistake of many. The next was picking a fight with her when he had his quirk deactivated (Although he didn't know it yet). He threw a punch with his right hand, which she dodged rather easily. The man looked confused for a second as he realized what had happened. He turned back to Eraserhead, who was currently charging the man down.

He threw another heavy punch, but it missed its mark by a mile, and he earned a kick from both Eraserhead and herself, knocking the wind out of the man. He fell to the ground, but it was rather surprising when the body was gone, all that was left being a pile of blood. Eraserhead said, "Over there," pointing to the man she had knocked out.

Apparently she hadn't knocked him out, as he was now standing there, looking very different from before. Now he was taller, beefier, and had four arms. He looked as if he had gone insane. "You couldn't possibly understand the value of that brat!"

Miruko scowled, could this guy be more idiotic? He saw people as items apparently, which really pissed her off, and she couldn't quite tell why. Maybe it was the fact that he had tortured a boy for over a decade. Yeah, that was probably it.

Kamui tried to wrap the crazed man in a wooden prison, but it failed royally, only making the man angrier.

He took a step forward, the cement floor crumbling with that move. He bent down and touched the ground with one of his new limbs, sending a massive spike into Eraserhead's chest. Apparently the man had blinked, and it left a moment of weakness. A pained cry came from the man, and Miruko heard the sound of sobbing behind her. She grit her teeth, she couldn't let the boy down!

Izuku was down with Kai's shit. After years of torture, he wasn't going to be dragged back down into that hellhole! He stood up in defiance and shouted, "Let me help!" The lady who had the ears and tail of a rabbit looked back at him, "Are you insane!? You'd get yourself killed!" The hero made of wood gave him similar words.

"But isn't being a hero in itself a dangerous job? You guys risk your lives everyday, and besides, if I get in close, I can end it all!" Miruko shrugged.

"If you think you can handle it, we can try and get you in close. You hear that, Kamui?" The hero, Kamui, nodded.

The rabbit hero leapt forward, over Kai, and kicked him in the face as she did. Kamui shot wood from his limb at the man to distract him as Izuku looked for an opening. Miruko landed on the ground, and went to punch Kai, who expected it, going to catch the fist and destroy her, but Miruko just changed strategies mid attack and swept the man off his feet.

Izuku took the opportunity and ran forward, his horn glowing now that his quirk had been activated, and touched the man, watching as he reverted back to his normal state, and then a teenager, followed by a kid, toddler, baby, and then nothing. Kai Chisaki was dead.
