"FIRE EVERYONE OUTSIDE!!!"
says Tom as he carries a young girl who was bleeding. Tom takes the girl outside as ambulances, fire trucks, and police officers arrive. The students running outside coughing, bleeding, and trying to breathe reaching for their parents.
Mrs. Greene and Ms. Nolan are running through the crowds and they meet
Dee Dee, Trent, and Kaylee at the front. They both are shock as they stare at the flames burning James Madison High School right in front of them.
Ms. Nolan says
"WHAT THE HELL? "
Mrs. Greene ask "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?"
Trent says "We don't know. Me, Dee Dee, Tom, Kaylee, Emma, Alyssa, and everyone else were in the gym dancing as normal till fucking dragon fire breather decided to appear and this... HAPEPNED!!!"
Kaylee says "Alyssa and Emma went back in the building to see if anyone else got left behind."
Tom comes over coughing and tries to breathe as Dee Dee and Ms. Nolan calms him. Kaylee and Mrs. Greene then sees Alyssa coming out of the building helping a young girl to safety. The paramedics take the young girl from Alyssa. Mrs. Greene rushes over.
Mrs. Greene in distressed says
"Alyssa!!! Oh my God, baby. Your shoulder is bleeding, I NEED THE PARAMEDICS HERE NOW!!!"
Alyssa slowly mumbles
"Kay...leeeee, where's Emma?"
Kaylee grabs Alyssa's head and replies
"Hey Alyssa, focus, help is coming, was Emma behind you?"
Mrs. Greene echoing to Alyssa
"HEY WHERE'S EMMA? BABY? CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
Ms. Nolan panicking yells
"EMMA! EMMA! EMMA!"
As Kaylee and Mrs. Greene voices echoing, Alyssa immediately runs back the building to get Emma. As Alyssa runs, Dee Dee sees her running back to the building, Kaylee tries to stop her but trips over Mrs. Greene, and
Tom yells
"ALYSSA, STOP!!!"
A firefighter yells "EVERYONE BRACE YOURSELVES!!!"
In slow motion, Alyssa reaches to the outside doors of the gym, as she touches the handle, a huge explosion pushes her back, Alyssa screaming in terror lands hard on the plain green dry grass, fire flames burst in the air, everyone embraces themselves and screams, moments later, the whole building of
James Madison High School collapses and fire fighters immediately starts taking the fire out. Trent runs over with a blanket and takes out the fire that was burning part of Alyssa's arm, Alyssa trying to breathe, her eyes flicks staring at the school as her mom, Kaylee, Trent, and paramedics rush her to the ambulance. The looks on Mrs. Greene, the students, and everyone are in terror and emotions. As she is loaded into the ambulance, in the distance, Alyssa sees a person wearing a mask and all dressed up in a black dress looking at her, Alyssa trying to breathe, slowly closes her eyes, and the ambulance doors closes.
At the Hospital, next morning
Alyssa slowly wakes up, she looks around and finds herself in the hospital after being knockout for hours and hours, a nurse comes in and says
"Alyssa, you got some visitors to see you."
The nurse let's in Mrs. Greene, Kaylee, and Trent in. Alyssa slowly groans and cries softy as her mom strokes her hair and gives her a kiss on the forehead. Kaylee holds Alyssa's hand. Trent smiles at the end of the bed at Alyssa. Mrs. Greene in tears speaks emotionally to Alyssa. Alyssa knew something bad happened but didn't know what.
Mrs. Greene says
"Alyssa? I'm afraid we have some bad news. Emma was found dead in the fire last night, the Sheriff of Edgewater found her body covered with smoke ashes, blood across her face, and a knife in her stomach in the gym. The Sheriff believes Emma was trying to head out of the building but someone decided to stab her. We don't know the full details. Her body is getting examined and the funeral is in couple of days. Alyssa, I am so sorry. "
Alyssa yells "NO, NO, NO, SHE'S NOT DEAD, YOUR FUCKING LYING!!! EMMA!!! EMMA!!! EMMA!!! EM..."
Alyssa in tears crying in pain, her mom hops onto the bed hugging Alyssa under the cover sheets. Her daughter trying to get out of the bed, and punching. Kaylee gets emotional and hugs Trent. Trent kisses Kaylee on the forehead. Alyssa eventually calms down with just crying, sniffling, and slowly falling asleep with her mom. Kaylee and Trent goes to the waiting room meeting with Tom, Dee Dee, Aaron, and Nick.
Kaylee hugs Aaron and says
"Thank you for coming."
Aaron says "Alyssa is my sister. I came here as fast as I could."
Nick says "Kevin, Daniel, Shelby, and Cora are stuck in Hawaii due to a tsunami warning. They send their condolences to Alyssa. Ethan and Scarlett are with Ms. Nolan. "
Tom says "I feel bad for Alyssa. "
Dee Dee in tears says "Yeah... Emma still... owes me a damn house. But that's not the problem. The problem is whoever started the fire and murder Emma is going to be SUED!!!"
Trent says "I told Angie and Barry. There both devastated. They'll try to come to the funeral or at least the court trial thing."
Kaylee ask "The court trial? Aaron where's Audrey?"
Aaron replies "Audrey is in New York seeing Hamilton with her husband and kids. Apparently they won a lottery. So she'll be coming in a week.
Trent says "Hamilton? Hey I know the guy, um Lin Manuel Miranda? He plays um... Hamilton... I'm not throwing away my shot. No... well um... anyway. "
Nick ask "Isn't that Amanda and Elsa coming in?'
All of the sudden, Amanda and Elsa shows up. The two head to the room where Alyssa and Mrs. Greene are.
Dee Dee ask "Tom, isn't Tina coming?"
Tom sighs and replies "Yeah. Depends if Eric can get her shit together."
Aaron ask "Who's Eric?"
Kaylee replies "Eleanor changed her name to Eric. Instead of she, it's he and him now. But Eric's coming right?"
Tom ask "You didn't hear about what happened between Eric and Alyssa?"
Aaron ask "What happened?"
Dee Dee replies "Alyssa and Eric stopped talking to each other 3 years ago. Eric started doing drugs, and dropped out of high school."
Trent says" Oh and just recently Tina is pregnant according to the Instagram post I just found. "
Trent shows the post and everyone including Tom are shocked. Back in where Mrs. Greene, Amanda, Elsa, and Alyssa are. The three ladies begin to talk while watching Alyssa sleep peacefully.
Amanda ask "Ashley, how is Alyssa doing?"
Ashley sighs and replies
"She's shocked and heartbroken. I told her the news... she just... screamed and yelled Emma over and over again.
Is Eric coming? Does he know about this?"
Elsa says "Well he..."
All of the sudden Eric storms into the room and stares at her aunt and both of his moms. He breathes heavily with frustration and asks
"Why didn't you call me? What the fuck!?"
Amanda standing up emotionally replies
"One; shut the hell up and watch your language mister. Two; you do not barge in here like a fucking animal. And three; your not suppose to be in
Edgewater."
Eric says "I'm not a fucking kid mom. I have the right to be here. I'm part of this family mom whether you do or not love me. I know its been a while since I last saw everyone but at least let me help out. I was Emma's cousin in law. "
Amanda throwing a chair at Eric but misses yells
"YOU GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER!!! YOU ARE NOT APART OF THIS FAMILY TILL YOU GET ACTUAL HELP!!!"
Eric yells back "I DON'T NEED HELP!!! "
Amanda leaves the room slamming the door behind her. Elsa in silence walks towards Eric giving him a hug and then walks out of the room.
Alyssa getting out of bed, breathing heavily, and being frustrated, she yells
"What the hell? What is he doing here?!"
Eric turns around gulping, and in shock replies
"Hi... look I know you don't want to see me. I don't want to see you. But I'm still part of this family, no matter what!!! And don't you dare say a damn fucking word about me dropping out high school and starting doing fucking drugs. I made the choice and yes I did fuck up but let me help you. To cousin to cousin."
Alyssa smirks with a fake smile and says
"Get the hell out of here. I don't even need your help. Inside of you I may remember that sweetheart who brought me and Emma back for the wedding. But outside of you, your a fucking animal who just cares about himself. You only care about yourself.
It's been 3 years. 3 FUCKING LONG DAMN YEARS SINCE WE LAST SAW EACH OTHER TILL YOU DECIDED TO TURN INTO THIS DRUG MENAIC MONSTER!!! YOU ARE A MONSTER ERIC!!! NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF EDGEWATER AND I DO NEVER EVER EVER WANT TO SEE YOU EVER AGAIN TILL YOU GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT UNDER CONTROL AND GET HELP!!!
REAL HELP!!!"
Eric looses his temper and throws a chair across the room. He stares into Alyssa's eyes. As he heads to the door, Alyssa says
"And if you show your face at the funeral. I will fucking punch you in the face."
Eric looks at Alyssa and says
"I don't give a shit."
Eric slams the door behind him. Alyssa breathes heavily as her mother walks towards her for a hug. Eric walks in the hallways where he runs into Tom, Kaylee, Trent, Dee Dee, Nick, and Aaron.
Kaylee says "Eric! You made it... hey. What's wrong?"
Eric stops and looks at everyone and says
"I came back to help. But since Alyssa won't let me,I'm leaving. Look... I know I did some really bad things, but it's for the best."
Eric starts to walk away till Tom asks
"Hey, is it true? You and Tina are having a baby?"
Eric looks at Tom and replies
"Yeah. It's true. Tina will be at the funeral. I'm sorry guys. I really am. "
Eric walks away from the gang. Trent sighs. Kaylee, Aaron, and Nick stares at Eric walking away. Tom and Dee Dee hold each others hands and sigh. Eric gets to the parking lot getting into his car. He quietly groans and looks at his arm. His arm half burnt with a scar, he covers it up with his sleeve, starts the car, and heads out. Back in the room, everyone meets talking about funeral plans and how to rebuild the school.
Alyssa is near the window looking at the sky wondering what to do next and thinking of Emma. Kaylee comes over, sits by her, and hugs her. They both cuddle and eventually fall asleep.
